- "We did not stay at this property. We went to the location and the surrounding area was not as portrayed. There were overgrown weeds everywhere, an abandoned camper and an abandoned military vehicle, a building that looked abandoned with a washer and dryer on the outside of the house and was just overall a very sketchy area. The boards on the front of the house were rotting. We told the owner that we did not feel safe staying there with our newborn and asked for a refund due to the fact that none of this surrounding area was depicted. They told us that the abandoned camper with weeds all over it was “historic” and that it was accurately described in the listing and would not refund us. I told them we would not have booked the listing with our baby if we had known what the rest of the property looked like. There was nothing in this listing about the sketchy surrounding area. I would not recommend this place if you care about the surrounding area. The inside was clean and as pictured. "

This cabin is located directly on the Bon Secour River, in Bon Secour near Foley. Alabama. It is a stilted cabin, which looks out over a bend in the river where birds and wildlife abound. You can fish from the cabin's own dock or bring your boat and explore the river, Bon Secour Bay, Mobile Bay, the intracoastal waterway, or even the Gulf of Mexico. It's also a great river for kayaking.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are just minutes away if you need to get away from the tranquility of the cabin. Beaches, golf courses, shopping, outlet malls, nightlife, you name it. Even the Casinos of Biloxi and Gulfport are less than two hours away.

You can even go over to Pensacola Florida and watch the Blue Angeles at the Naval Air Station, only 40 minutes away. At this Bon Secour cabin, you can do as much or as little as you like.

The cabin has a full kitchen, but if you hate to cook, The Galley Restaurant is literally steps away at the front gate. We have three smart TV's to log into your preferred service. Queen bed in the master, full size in the second bedroom. You can sit out on the porch overlooking the dock and river or go downstairs to enjoy the river from the porch swing, table and chairs plus a gas and charcoal grill. A large covered porch is an inviting place to sit, relax, and enjoy the view of the river. It is intentionally positioned on Fish River basin, which gives you a great deal of privacy while also being a stones-throw away from the main river. The cabin does not sit on the water. but our beautiful boathouse provides ample water access. We have a long pier for fishing and swimming, as well as a beautiful boathouse. We have a place to launch kayaks or other small boats as well as the perfect place for swimming. This prime Fish River location gives you access to some of the best fishing Baldwin County has to offer. Bass-kin is a house located directly on the Fairhope side of Fish river. The cabin has a very inviting interior with wood panels, floor, and blinds. Bass-kin has great natural lighting with 11 windows(with natural wood blinds). You are so high up that you feel like you are in a treehouse. The ladder leading to the upstairs loft style bedroom has a full size bed with a great expansive view of the river. If you prefer not to use the ladder, the couch down on the main floor is a pullout queen size bed.

Enjoy everything about the property: kayaks, fishing poles, grilling picnic area with a Webber charcoal grill, fire pit,etc. The river is great place to spend your time! The Inside of the tiny house living area is a great place to watch a movie or football game. It has a comfortable leather couch and a 42 inch Smart TV which includes Youtube TV, which is the newest(best) streaming service that provides 70 of the best cable channels, and is easy to navigate. When watching movies, the smart tv allows you to log in to your Netflix or Amazon Prime account. We have Wifi internet with lots of power(300 mpbs!!). Big Daddy's grill is just a few blocks down the road. Big Daddy's is one of the areas most popular casual dinning restaurants located on the river.
The occasional rain shower can be a little bit of a bummer at most places, but not at the cabin. Its great to hear the rain on the tin roof.
Southern Summers can be hot. The cabin has two air conditioners and a dehumidifier... When combined it makes a comfortable temperature inside of the cabin.

A large portion of short term rental properties have the owners who live on or adjacent to the property. We do not live on or adjacent to the cabin.

This stilted cabin is located directly on the Bon Secour River near Foley, Alabama. You can fish from the cabin's own dock or bring your boat and/or kayak and explore the river. There is a boat launch located within the gated community, but only small boats or kayaks can be launched from there. For launching larger boats, there are a couple of launches in the vicinity.

The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker and living area with a flat screen TV. There is a queen size bed and flat screen TV in each bedroom. A charcoal grill and a table and chairs are located underneath the cabin for enjoying the outdoors. Also, there is a community pool located across the driveway from the cabin.

Enjoy life on a working farm in our rural country cabin. Located 6 miles down a red dirt road, in the middle of timber woods, but within driving distance of world-class entertainment, shopping, dining and white sand beaches.
This cabin retreat is set on a working livestock ranch and offers the peace and quiet of country life while being just a short distance from the OWA Amusement Park, fine dining, great malls, an outlet center, and the beautiful Gulf beaches. The cabin offers a full kitchen, flat screen TV with antenna and DVD player, queen-size bed, full-size sleeper sofa, and washer and dryer. Located 6 miles down a County-maintained red dirt road in the middle of thousands of acres of pine forests. When it rains, the road can get a little messy, so we recommend an SUV over a car. We provide a coffee maker, coffee grounds, fresh eggs from our chickens, and a loaf of fresh bread (for you or to feed the animals). We do not provide a cooked breakfast.

- "When they say that this is a rustic cabin, they mean it. There is no wifi and it is way out in the middle of nowhere. I was perfect. The animals and the quiet were perfect and I am so glad that I found this little piece of paradise. My teenage boys didn't even really notice that there was no wifi because they enjoyed being outside. The pros outweigh the cons by quite a bit. I will go over the cons first since there are so few. The first one is the spiders. The porch was covered in orb weaver spiders and since I am horribly arachnaphobic, I did not find this nice at all. I am sure it was a way to maybe lower the insect population on the porch but I didn't like it. The second con is that the cabin was unlevel so do not drink in this cabin because you might fall into the toilet. That did not bother me at all though. Also, when they say that an suv would be best, they mean it. My Dodge Challenger made it through fine but after the rain, I had to do a lot of dodging pot holes. Now to the pros. The place is perfect for getting away from everything. They had it fully stocked with anything that you could need, even marshmallow roasters. They have plenty of blankets and pillows. They have lots of dvds and games. They even offer to take the family to feed the animals if you contact them. They left eggs and a loaf of bread which the bread got immediately grabbed up by my kids to feed the animals. I can't wait to book this place again next year."

PRIVACY
The Cabin is on our small campground with 3 other guest cabins, a common area cabin, and 7 RV sites.

PLEASE BE KIND TO OUR SEPTIC SYSTEM
In the bathroom, only flush toilet paper. Kindly dispose all other products into the trash, even the feminine "flushable” ones. In the kitchen, there is no garbage disposal. Please put food scraps in trash can.

No Smoking:

Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited inside all cabins.
Refer to the rental agreement to see these policies and the additional fees that occur if you fail to follow them.
Pests:

We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our campground is regularly treated by professional pest control and we take preventative measures to keep pests out.

However, as our cabins are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you do encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact us immediately so that our grounds team can address the issue as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay.

By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.

Other things to note
a. We are a family friendly RV Park & Campground. Public indecency or drunkenness WILL NOT be tolerated.
b. Camper SHALL NOT USE campsite/cabin for any illegal activity or activity which would injure the reputation of Campground or Campground’s business.
c. Clothes lines are not permitted.
d. NO UNDERAGE DRINKING allowed at any campground property.
e. GUNS OR WEAPONS of any sort are PROHIBITED in any public area of Campground.
f. For the safety of everyone at Camp, please put out your fire before you go to bed, and NEVER LEAVE YOUR FIRE UNATTENDED.
g. NO trees may be moved, cut or removed. DO NOT DIG on campsites.
h. FIREWORKS are PROHIBITED in Campground.
i. ALL GARBAGE must be disposed of in the park trash bins when leaving the park at the end of Camper's stay. All fish, meat and/or poultry items must be wrapped in a newspaper and doubled bagged before being placed in the Campground dumpster. Camper is responsible for keeping said site maintained in a clean, neat, and safe condition at all times. A fee of $50 will be charged if Campground has to clean up Camper's site.
j. There shall be no automotive maintenance or RV maintenance allowed in the park. No changing of oil is allowed.
k. Please report any damages or problems immediately. May be subject to pay damage fees if the damages occurred due to negligence.
l. The camper(s) adult children (18 or older), minor children, and grandchildren are also welcome at the campground.
m. Camper must accompany at all times any children under the age of twelve (12) on the Property or in the Campground. Camper is responsible for any claim, loss or damage caused by Camper’s children, guests, invitees or other family members.
n. CAMPGROUND’S PROPERTY LINES are clearly marked. There will be NO TRESPASSING on any of the surrounding neighboring properties. This rule is strictly enforced up to and including expulsion from Campground. All roadways and cut- through paths are clearly marked.

The space
Open the front door to a ten acre pecan orchard where you will see wildlife ranging from native songbirds, squirrel and the occasional white-tailed deer or wild turkey. Across the orchard, you will find honeybees busy at work in our local hives producing gallons of honey each season. As you wakeup to a beautiful Selma sunrise, we invite you to sip coffee on the back porch while you watch the horses graze and take in all of the wildlife busy at play.

Perfect weekend getaway for single family, fishermen or hunters. Located 1/2 mile from public boat ramp open year round. Also, close to large public hunting land. This cabin is on the same property as The Riverton event center & can be rented in conjunction if additional space is needed. The drive up to this cabin is gravel & somewhat steep, however, never had any problems getting cars to it.

The space
This is a cabin nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of Pickwick Lake. It has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed & a twin bed. The family room has a trundle bed(sleeps 2) & a couch. There is a TV with satellite for your enjoyment while inside. Also has a full kitchen with full size refrigerator/freezer, full size stove/oven, coffee maker, dishes & outside charcoal grill all available for your use. Large porch perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets here. If you plan on boating there's a public boat ramp at Colbert County Rose Trail Park located less than 1 mile from this property. Also, boats can be rented at Eastport marina which is directly across the water.

Initial paper products are provided but you will need to bring supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry supplies & trash bags depending on the length of your stay. Toiletries are not provided so plan accordingly. Linen (sheets & towels) are provided.
There is a restaurant right off Hwy 72 on Riverton Rose Trail. Other restaurants & grocery stores are either in Iuka Ms or Cherokee Al. So be sure & bring all the supplies you will need for a great stay as it's about 15 miles to either place.

This charming updated log cabin reflects the artistic community and is centrally located in Mentone. Camps, hiking, seasonal colors are all here in the tiny Lookout Mountain town.

We are finally back and bigger than ever.

650 sq ft with 24 ft high ceilings, all wood, brand new full kitchen and bathroom. Wooded yard with great view of pastures and mountains.

Our small maintenance update grew into a full blown renovation and addition.

The space
The cabin is a wonderful, peaceful retreat filled with books and has a breathtaking view of sunrises, sunsets, the horse farm across the road, and all-in-all the perfect place to get away and recharge.

We have over a half acre of land. Our property is completely fenced and suitable for pets. There may be small gaps that very small dogs can pass through. The front gate closes but we are working on ease of the closure and a broken portion on the bottom of the gate.

Other things to note
Campfires: At this time we do not have a fire ring and ask that guests not make one on the property. Our insurance currently precludes us from having fires or open grills on the property. Thank you for your understanding.

Bugs: Sometimes you will encounter bugs such as spiders and ladybugs in our cabin. We do our best to maintain the space but we are a cabin in the woods.

Neighbors: we do have one set of neighbors adjacent to the property. They share our fence line and have dogs that come up to the fence line and occasionally bark.
