It was too cold to enjoy the pool (but it’s heated) or the screened in porch or the outdoor shower or hammock BUT I still loved it. The cabin was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for our stay. It was immaculately clean. Communication was excellent, check-in was easy. Restaurants within walking distance, beach just a short ride away. There is a train track nearby but it didn’t bother us - they do provide ear plugs! I have zero complaints and will be back in warmer weather!"

- "This family of 4 loved our weekend stay here! The hosts truly made us feel right at home! Upon pulling up we were welcomed by property owner Bob, his pup Ol’ Red and host Chanin - who couldn’t have been nicer. This 150 acre property hosts the cabin, along with a few tiny homes around a small pond w/ ducks and fish (bring your poles), and below a mountain top vista with views of the lake. The hosts were gracious enough to let us use their off-roading golf cart to explore the property, including Bob’s man cave with some amazing memorabilia! The photos really do not do this adorable cabin justice. The kitchen has all you need with indoor and outdoor eating spots. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom’s heated floors were a nice touch. The screened in porch’s super clean jacuzzi, table top propane fire pit (perfect for s’mores) and outdoor furniture was a favorite for us!!! Surround sound (inside & outside, including the patio), Alexa, large TVs w/ direct tv and Wi-Fi all easy to use. The cabin is located right off the main road just minutes from the MS TN border. Short drives to anywhere you want to go including boat rentals (highly recommend), shake shack (a must), local grocery shop and a few restaurants. This was our 1st trip to Pickwick and definitely not our last. We created some wonderful family memories and loved our time at the cabin. This is a little gem and perfect for a family or couple looking for a getaway!"

Welcome to Creekside Cabin. This little gem is exactly what you need if you are looking to get away from it all! With 1000’ of creek front, seasonal sandbars and 7 acres of woods to explore. You will feel refreshed from the daily hustle and bustle of noisy neighbors and traffic sounds. From kayaks to hammocks, we have it covered. Isn’t it about time to relax?

The space:
You will have full access to the entire house. There is a hangout area under the house with a bench swing and chairs and a seating area and a propane bbq pit on the deck. There is a walking trail through the woods and a nice fire area to roast s’mores or even set up tents if you bring them.

Other things to note:
The hot tub is seasonal: Available free of charge November to March. If you would like the hot tub outside of these months, you will need to pay an additional setup fee of $50.
For our safety and yours, a video surveillance camera is on the property. It is mounted underneath the house facing and recording the driveway only. That is the only area under surveillance, as we do not wish to infringe on your privacy.

Occasionally, the creek rises from seasonal or isolated weather. During those times, the sandbars may be underwater and the kayaks will be unavailable to use for safety reasons.

This is a rustic tiny cabin in the woods. We are not a luxury hotel so our cabin may not be for everyone. During your time on the grounds, you may come across a variety if wildlife including beavers, deer, bunnies, small rodents, SNAKES and BUGS! Please do not be startled but do be cautious, as you will be in their natural habitat!

We ask that children are not left unattended in or near the creek, woods, or the deck at any time.

Liability Waiver:
You understand that fishing, swimming, hiking and the use of kayaks or tubes is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with fishing, swimming, hiking and using the kayaks or hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from fishing swimming, hiking and use of the kayaks and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that fishing, swimming, hiking and the use of kayaks may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person fishing, swimming, hiking or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person fishes, swims, hikes or uses the kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from fishing, swimming, hiking or using the kayaks or hot tub. - "We stayed here for our family girls trip. Enjoyed Friday night on the upper deck and all day Saturday on the creek then relaxing under the cabin in the evening. We brought beach chairs, a tent, and some umbrellas to the creek along with food and music. This was my second time staying at Creekside (both girls trips) I have enjoyed my time there so much that I now want my own camp!" - "We absolutely loved this place. The cabin is up in the trees and the deck is wonderful especially for morning coffee and reading. We spent most of our time sunning ourselves on the beach creekside. Exploring was done up and down the creek and in the surrounding forest. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It's amazingly quiet and peaceful. It was nice to be somewhat unplugged with no worries. My entire family has asked when we can return. They said it's even better than our regular place on the Bogue Chitto. We mostly stayed at the property but we did have: Dinner at Perry's Seafood - 5 of us ate for under $100 and no seafood was spared. The shrimp are not fresh caught but they are delicious. Trip to Bogalusa to go to Wal-Mart that ended with a stop at the Big Box Bargain Store and Hudson's Salvage. If you love to thrift you will love both stores."
