Secluded cabin on the banks of the Okatoma River. This property is approximately a one-hundred acre parcel that has trails and river frontage. The views of the river are phenomenal but the fishing from the porch is even better. This cabin is fully stocked inside and outside. Perfect for family, friends or romantic couple getaways. It’s a very convenient location, not even five minutes from the town of Collins. Grand Paradise Waterpark, Burdens Atv Park, and Salem Opry House Restaurant are a few of our family favorites all within a ten minute radius from the cabin. Canoeing and Kayaking are also available in the next town over with a shuttle service.
- "We loved it so much most peaceful trip we’ve ever been on. Thanks" - "Everything was great!" - "Had a nice relaxing weekend" - "Very well equipped and lacking nothing except ice cube trays. Owners did a fantastic job building this house/camp/cabin. It's more house than anything and is pristine and perfect. Great beds and total comfort. No wifi and only 2 bars on mobile devices if you're lucky. It's on the river and we were really hoping to sit on a gravel bar in our swimsuits and enjoy the water, but the only access is a ramp of sorts and it's not really a place for swimming or wading as the bank is very steep. But it's quiet and secluded and our dog could run and explore outside with no problem at all. Highly recommended!"

Inside the home, the kitchen has stainless appliances, granite countertops, Ninja drip coffee pot, Keurig single pod coffee maker and other necessary kitchenware. The living room has a sectional sofa and extra large recliner. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds and the other bedroom has a full size bed, all rooms have a TV with satelline. The first bathroom has a tub/shower combo, while the master bath has a tile shower with double and rain shower heads. The exterior of the home has plenty of seating and patio area for hanging out with friends and family. The cabin is surrounded by natural beauty, yet only a short drive to plenty of attractions. You can also walk down to the creek for kayaking, swimming, fishing, or launch your boat. Come enjoy the serenity of Little Black Creek. It’s definitely a place to visit and make some memorable moments.
- "Beautiful Place & property. Our only disappointment was the torrential rain that enabled Cya-king and fishing . The Water got too high and the strong rolling current wasn’t safe to do either. But, we enjoyed sitting on the beautiful covered deck and the lovely fire pit below watching and listening to the rolling water and hearing the sounds." - "We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view was beauty every afternoon from the porch. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek. Not a negative, but just wanted to make sure people are aware in case they book this place and need to work. There is very limited service and no internet. Overall we absolutely enjoyed staying here. Thank you."

- "love this place" - "My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend, and this was the perfect spot! Nice cabin back away from a lot of people and this crazy world we call life now. It is right on the Black Creek which would be amazing during the summer. We will definitely be back!" - "Renting the the property was very easy and we were easily able to get hold of the property owners so it was great" - "My family and I enjoyed the property. It was clean with all the necessary amenities. We only wish the weather had cooperated so we could partake of the wonderful outdoor setup. I could easily imagine hours in a chair on the porch with a good book if I wasn’t cold so easily (the rain was not my deterrent). We were looking for a few days away and this met our needs. It was quiet, cozy and comfortable. Stayed warm, even during a very cold rainy week. Kitchen was well stocked with basic pans, toaster, coffee machine, etc. A few cons that were not a big deal for us but others might want to be aware of with their planning: Wi-Fi got a little spotty at times but that’s to be expected in such a secluded area. Cell service was none for us. Would have appreciated a few games for the rainy days, but we brought our own. Road to the cabin is gravel, not paved, and a little rough. Our family SUV did fine. Path to the creek is very steep so parents of little ones will want to be aware. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return the next time we visit the area. Close to a state park and not too far from civilization if you feel the need."

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Super cozy & chill, cabin next door can be set up in conjunction if booked early enough, high family rm cathedral ceiling, wood burning fireplace & awesome Forrest views, large deck & huge lower covered patio during hot days, creek access & very quiet place to get away from it all or enjoy the environment while grilling or watching some TV.
The Space:
The cabin has direct private creek access & has a large 660 sf covered patio area under the cabin & a 480sf deck with expansive views all around, clean rustic cabin feel with vaulted ceiling in family room & open to the kitchen
Guest access:
The creek is about 20’ from the Cabin & no one lives directly across the creek from the Cabin so privacy is awesome from the deck & views of natural forest is a wonderful scene to either wake up to or have drinks in the evening with, private spaces for 4 or 5 vehicles to park & a 2nd cabin is about 130’ from this one if you need more space than one cabin for large gatherings… must set up well in advance to get both at the same time. To be clear, this is just for one cabin for each booking unless you book both at the same time. The second cabin is a separate listing.
- "The cabin was awesome! We stayed here to be close for a baby shower. The cleaning lady did an amazing job and needs a raise. I was a little disappointed in the road to get to the cabin. It needs to maintained better and the pot holes filled in. The signs that show which way to go to the cabin have over grown weeds so you can barely see them. Over all was a much needed quiet mini-vacation. We would defiantly stay again if we are in this area."
