Come and relax on the water with the whole family! We are on the water with a dock and swim ladder. We do NOT have year around water. All bookings after Labor Day may or may not have water. Water level is controlled by TVA.

Completely furnished kitchen with an air fryer for those chicken nuggets. Coffee maker too!

You will have access to our full camp. We have 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is a shower only and it’s downstairs.

We are pet friendly and allow one dog. We do require a $50 pet fee.

We have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

During Summer months are camp is accessible by boat. The dock does have a place to tie off your boat so bring ropes! Plenty of trailer parking here as well.

Starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels will be provided for all stays.

We do NOT have year around water so if you book after Labor Day it’s dependent upon TVA.

We are safety minded for those with small children. We have plenty of life jackets in various sizes. The top deck does have a latching gate to the keep the stairs blocked off.

All bedrooms have a heated mattress pad, ceiling fans and oscillating fans if needed.

Our cabin is fully furnished, comfortable and secure. Located on a 650 acre cotton and timber farm, we border Joe Wheeler state park. Fishermen, golfers, and other travelling guests love our farm. We keep the farm very well maintained and there's plenty of room to hike and spread your legs. Gorgeous sunsets overlooking the Tennessee River and beautiful cotton fields, await! You'll get to see our bald eagles and all the deer you care to watch! Super quiet and relaxing. One mile from downtown Rogersville and all it offers. 30 minutes to either Florence or Madison/Huntsville, we are convenient to most everything in our area.

This cabin is located on the Tennessee River about 5 mile up river from Wheeler Dam. The lot is awesome, it is flat and has a boat ramp. The cabin has central heat and air and a fire place. The view is incredible and the lot has huge trees that make you think you are in a State Park. This cabin would be ideal for tournament fisherman , or just spending a quite weekend on the lake. There are several picnic tables, grill and a new pier. Also has a fire pit where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets ! 3845 Co Rd 91 Rogersville Al. 35652. Just added a pier 103 ' long . There have been some monster catfish caught off this pier ! Now have high speed internet 500 mps and smart tv. Boat slip now available for your use , Great lot on the river

Our cozy waterfront cabin located on Wilson Lake in North Alabama is nestled back in the trees just steps away from the private pier. The cabin offers a large elevated porch and deck with rocking chairs and outdoor ceiling fans for those warm spring and summer nights.

The Cove at Doublehead
Rental Guests Rules / Guidelines:

1. The Cove at Doublehead is a private neighborhood. Each cabin, garage, yard, dock and parking area are private property. Please be respectful of all neighboring cabins and common areas. Please do not walk across other cabin yards or on other cabin piers.
2. This property is governed by an elected board of directors for The Cove at Doublehead Homeowners Association. Therefore, adherence to the community rules and guidelines are not at the discretion of individual homeowners.
3. Guests not adhering to the rules and guidelines of the community can be asked to leave the property without the cabin owner’s approval. In such case, the rental owner is not obligated to refund any rental guest any monies resulting from non-adherence to community rules and guidelines.
4. The common spaces at The Cove at Doublehead include: the gated pool area; pickleball courts; playground between the pickleball court and pool; basketball court; playground in front of Cabin 110, and the beach. Please note that the home across the parking lot from the beach is a private residence. This and all other property not previously listed are private property.
5. Golf carts are allowed; however, no ATVs are allowed in the community. No exceptions.
6. The dumpster is only for garbage from the cabins at The Cove at Doublehead. When using, please try to distribute the garbage deposited there evenly from front to back. This helps to mitigate overflow thus creating an unsightly appearance around the dumpster.
7. The entrance gate is there for the security of the cabins, cabin owners and protection of the properties. The access code to the gate should not be shared with anyone other than the members of your party. The gate is closed on the weekends and open from 8a to 5p during the week.
8. Parking at each cabin is limited to paved spaces at each cabin and can vary from cabin to cabin. No more than 3 cars are permitted to park in front of any cabin. No vehicles or boats are allowed to park on the street or in the yards of the cabins.
9. If more parking is needed for your guests, there is additional parking in the swimming pool parking area.
10. Pets are not allowed to roam the neighborhood. Dogs are required to be on a leash in all common areas but are not allowed in the pool area. Permission to have pets in the cabins is cabin specific and should be confirmed with the cabin owner when renting.
11. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department will be contacted if needed in any extreme situation.

The Cove at Doublehead Pool Guidelines:

1. The pool is to be used by owners and renters only.
2. Absolutely no glass bottles are allowed in the pool area.
3. No coolers are allowed directly by the pool.
4. The shallow end steps are for coming in and out of the pool and for parents of children. Others do not need to congregate in this area.
5. No smoking in the pool area.
6. No dogs or pets in the pool area.
7. All music played must be appropriate for families. No obscene language or excessively loud music will be permitted.
8. No obscene language by people around the pool.
9. Any cabin owner has the right to address non-adherence to rules and guidelines with any guest, regardless of whether they are a member of the rental program or not and when necessary to report such actions to the owner of the cabin in which the persons are guests.
10. Repeated violations of any of the above rules may result in guest being asked to leave the premises.

Our daughters are young adults now (our oldest got married at The Lodge here at Doublehead in 2024!) and have lifelong memories of being here with us, their grandparents, cousin, aunt and uncle. Seasons change and we are grateful to be a part of continuing this family tradition by owning our very own cabin right next door to family. We want to share this blessing by opening up our cabin for others to enjoy, make memories, and begin their own family traditions. Come enjoy a relaxing stay at one of four cozy cabins overlooking a one-acre pond. The newly constructed cabins are in the country, but only minutes away from all types of activities offered by the Shoals area. We believe in hospitality here, so you and your family will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are lots of exciting things to do and events happening throughout the year, but if you want to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place for you!
The space
Each spacious, one room cabin has a king-sized bed and a loft with two twin beds. The living area has a sofa bed that sleeps two additional people and an electric fireplace. WIFI is provided and the Smart TV can be viewed from the living area and the king bed as well. The cabin is heated and cooled with two mini split units located in the main area and in the loft. We built the headboard and ship’s ladder stairs ourselves out of the wood from the original barn.

WIFI is provided and the Smart TV can be viewed from the living area and the king bed as well. The cabin is heated and cooled with two mini split units located in the main area and in the loft. We built the headboard and ship’s ladder stairs ourselves out of the wood from the original barn.

We had our luggage inside and unpacked, and we were fishing within 30 minutes! I was very impressed with the cleanliness, and they had pretty much everything we needed. There was plenty of room for my family of 6, both inside and out! My husband and I enjoyed the lounge chairs on the patio and the hammock was a great place to read and relax. My two teenage sons enjoyed the chairs on the pier while they fished for hours! Everyone enjoyed the time we spent at the pool! It’s a large pool and there were restrooms on site. There are a couple of grocery stores close by along with a Dollar General. And it was just a quick trip into Florence or Muscle Shoals. There were clear, easy instructions on what to do at checkout. We would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this cabin to my family and friends!"

We were only at the property for the evenings. The kitchen seemed to be stocked although we didn't use it other than a few dishes and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. I will say this property is in a very rural area. There were goats and horses in the adjacent pastures which was neat. Of course being in the country does come with some "unwelcomed guests" like spiders and other insects so this should be expected. The house was clean, well furnished and met the online description. We visited Dismals Canyon, The Natural Bridge Park, Joe Wheeler State Park and many of the waterfalls in Bankhead National Forest during our stay. Be prepared to drive a bit of a distance to get to these great hiking places. Definitely worth the drive to hike these beautiful areas."

We will definitely be staying again on any short trips we have to Wheeler/Wilson. It was close to the dam/ramp. There were many great restaurants to eat at locally. There was bad weather coming in while we were staying and I checked in with the host to see where local storm shelters were and they got back with us in a very timely matter (luckily didn’t need to go to one).
