I have turned the basement of my Lakehouse into a cozy little fully functional apartment with its own entrance right on Wilson lake three doors down from Steenson hollow marina for easy boat launching! Two regular size beds and a twin bed. Sleeps 5 to 6! You have a private pier with 2 ladders for swimming and cleats and bumpers if you bring your boat! Apartment has everything you need! All kitchen utensils , pots and pans, oil, salt and pepper. Towels and washcloths, toilet tissue, paper , a Keurig, coffee maker, a regular coffee maker, coffee, creamer, and sugar. towels, life jackets, gas grill with gas tank, charcoal grill, charcoal and lighter fluid, a hammock, tv, WiFi , all bed linens! Also, upon request, baby bed, bouncy seat and high chair! Kid and baby toys, books, games and much more!

The whole upstairs of the building has been completely remodeled overlooking downtown. 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 bath. King size bed in the master and 2 queen beds in the other two bedrooms. Every room has a new flatscreen tv and the living room has a big 65 inch flatscreen. Stainless steel applicants with stackable LG washer and dryer. Exotic custom granite in the kitchen and original hardwoods refinished. Big granite walk-in shower with multiple jets. Right in the middle of court st. You can walk anywhere downtown in seconds.

There is on and off street parking included with your stay. You can walk to most everything you should need but some public transportation is available through NACOLG and other taxi services, if needed.

We try not to bother our guests during their stay unless necessary but provide more than one contact number if you should need anything!

Ping pong, darts, bags (cornhole), every board game you can imagine, there’s even Simon says! Which leads to the awesome 70’s decor. Pictures don’t do this place justice, you can tell it was a labor of love. Everywhere you turn will bring back a memory, or for my sister and I it did. Just the coolest decor, there’s a full sized disco ball on the ceiling! We were lucky enough to have the pleasure of meeting the owners, if the property isn’t already enough, just wait until you meet them. Highly recommend staying at the Bohemian Hideaway 💜"

- "a 10 across the board" - "Very cute, clean, spacious place, but still smelled of paint from remodel. Needed a prior walkthrough by management to make sure smell was gone. Fortunately, I only had to sleep there." - "10/19/23 received call from the management company stating wi-fi was out and the common areas of building the power was out. Hallways of the main building looked very run down, nothing like we expected. Had leaves all in the hallways and some larger dead bugs, peeling paint, etc... Backdoor keypad lock was completely broken so the outside door did not lock at all. We actually tried other places to stay that we had looked at prior but they were booked. We stayed out of the place except to sleep. Entire stay the Wi-Fi nor power to the hallways was ever addressed. (they did give us a $40 credit it was just frustrating as it appeared the owner really did not care to resolve ) When you came in at night there was literally no light in any of the two story buildings hallways. There is also some smell in the unit that I had seen mentioned in another review as being paint and the smell was still there. Over the course of our stay we noticed feeling not that great in the mornings after being at the unit overnight. My husband started trying to figure out what it was and also noticed the little A/C unit was never going off. Discovered the air filter looked like it had never been cleaned. It was so disgusting, and the worst part is that it looked to be just a washable kind. The unit looks like it was flipped and parts were nice, bedding good and such but even rug under bed looks like never cleaned, lots of stains. Definitely kept shoes on! Travel a lot and first negative review ever :("

Walking distance from court street, off of Tennessee street. We are next to a 55+ Apt complex and across from a childrens center, two blocks from college street! We love how close we are to downtown without being in the middle of the madness!

Very well lit at night and we have had our own family stay at this property before!

- "On the outside it doesn’t seem like much but when you walk in, it literally takes your breath away. I told my wife it made me miss living in apartments. Just absolutely was perfect for just the two of us. You could walk to almost everything Florence had to offer (we didn’t). Definitely would come back!" - "The property had a nice renovation and was spotless. The owner was quick to respond. However, it has a bad musty smell. The owner did try to resolve and it helped a little. However, it didn't last long. The bed was wire spring mattress and not very comfortable. The stand up shower was extremely tight. I am not a big guy and any one of size will struggle in the shower. There are better VRBOs in the area for a similar price and better location."

- "After having to text the owner for arrival instructions multiple times the day of my arrival, I finally received a message with a code for the door. The exterior door didn't work well and was not very secure at all. Upon entering the building I had to climb 2 flights of stairs, the first flight was normal, but the second flight was immediately inside the 'apartment' and incredibly steep. The apartment reeked of cigarette smoke and the heat was not on. There were 2 electric heaters that were very old and when turned on emitted poor odors and were either fully on or fully off so temperature regulation was a mess. I couldn't stay in the unit due to the smoke smell (listed as non-smoking) and couldn't reach the owner for my issues. I left for a hotel and when I finally got in touch with the owner they said I would receive no refund and the place was cleaned 'per regulations'...after many messages back and forth they offered me a small (less than 25%) refund for my entire booking (over 1 week). I wouldn't recommend this property to my worst enemy, the whole experience was garbage."

Welcome to our newly renovated loft here at the Cedars in Tuscumbia, AL. You will feel like you are out in the country, when you are actually close to everything! The studio apartment is perfect for a business traveler, or couple needing a retreat. You are just minutes from Fame Studios, Downtown Tuscumbia, Sheffield, and Florence!
With so many attractions in the Shoals area, it will still be difficult to pry yourself away from the gorgeous pool and relaxing setting!

The space
The entire property is shaded by 40 beautiful cedar trees and surrounded by an iconic split rail fence. The studio apartment has been newly renovated and adorned in the southwest style of the property owners. The studio includes covered parking, and plenty of privacy. Do not worry about needing anything! The studio features a queen sized bed, bistro style table, a bar work area, stocked kitchenette, closet, and a full bath! Bring your swim suits to enjoy the large pool on the property or just sit out on spacious Brazilian wood deck over looking the back patio by the fountain & pool, to watch the sun set and see the horses trot past! Truly a piece of heaven.

Although the Loft is a private room, the pool area is a shared space. Do not worry though, we have amazing guests and everyone should have a great time and be respectful of their privacy.

Do not be worried about the weather here in Alabama. If there is Tornado, we have a Shelter on premises.

Guest will have access to the pool (May to October). The spacious deck and covered porche with rocking chairs. Guests have full access to large patio, tables and chairs. This is a shared space.

The apartment is located in the back half of the home. You'll have private access to the entire apartment! There are two bedrooms, a sitting room with a TV that can stream Netflix or your other streaming services, a dining room and a bathroom with a shower. There is not a full kitchen but there is a coffee maker with a fridge, freezer and sink for you to use!

You’ll have private access to the back apartment of the house. There is a parking lot that can accommodate trucks with boats. We are 2 blocks from the downtown restaurants and shops on Court Street. We are less than a block from UNA.

This is 1 of 3 apartments in this historic home. You may have neighbors in adjoining units but you are not sharing spaces with them. You will have private access to the entire apartment.

We do not have cable TV, but can make recommendations for bars and restaurants if you are hoping to watch a game!

The house thermostat is set at 70 degrees. We have a box fan or space heater available if requested for your stay.

There is not a full kitchen however we have a refrigerator, sink and coffee maker.

The Man Cave is private but we are available upstairs if you need us. We have two beagles that are very friendly and are put up at night in their dog house which has a fence around it. Also only bark if another dog or animal comes around. The have a underground fence which keeps them on the property. You have a nice patio area or you can cross the branch to our picnic area with a swing , chairs and a fireplace you are welcome to use.

This is a 1 bedroom apartment that is connected to other apartments in a building. There is a kitchen with everything you need to cook.

Please be mindful that there are 4-5 stairs to get into the apartment. There is a railing to help, but it is quite low and might be difficult to use.

The apartment uses a window unit for heating and cooling. There is also a space heater in the apartment just in case. Being an old house, there is no central air conditioning.

The loft has 2 large granite showers. As a special treat, the master shower has two body jets along with a rain shower head to accompany the traditional faucet for a truly immersive experience!

Guests have full range of the loft. We keep a few cleaning supplies in the closet and there is an owners cabinet that is locked where we keep personal items.

Parking is included. The parking lot is motion lit and video recorded for guest security. Parking is large enough for 4 vehicles or 2 vehicles and a boat/trailer/RV. There is a 110V outlet by the entryway that guests with EVs are free to use.

There are 2 sets of stairs to access the loft and a smart lock key pad with a unique, personalized, easy to remember key code for a simple, anytime check in.

Guests get a detailed guide with pictures before check in. We want you to have a few less things to worry about as you prepare, so we send images of the location, parking, and the key pad.
