On Valentine’s Day 1945, a south Georgia born boy and a young Sicillian woman from Wisconsin, met across a hotel lobby in Milwaukee. He, a classically trained violinist and she, an elevator operator with poems in her heart and stars in her eyes. It was love-at-first sight and they wed that night. Our downtown square is currently under construction. All construction is during the daytime hours 8am-5pm. There is no evening or nighttime construction. Ample parking is still located on the Main Street in front of the loft location and the parking lot directly across the street which is visible from the Loft at 121.

The space
This is a cozy and newly furnished basement apartment in a home.

There is a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. There is one window, so it is a great place to sleep at night as it stays very dark! We have furnished it with lots of lamps and lighting to keep the space happy and bright during the day. :)

The spacious bedroom has a queen bed and an attached bathroom with a shower (no tub).
It is stylishly furnished with all linens and towels provided.

The bathroom has hand soap shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Enjoy your meals at a sweet little dining table off the kitchenette, which has new cookware, a microwave, a coffee maker, electric kettle, a full fridge, an air fryer, and a rice cooker (no oven).

Oil, salt and pepper, and basic cooking utensils are provided for light cooking. A life straw water filter is in the refrigerator for good drinking water.

Relax in the comfortable living area with a Roku TV.

Our guests love the fun and unique furnishings and the comfortable sofa and bed!

It’s a private, quiet and lovely space that’s great for sleeping and relaxing, and close to everything you’d want to do in Columbia. People always say it feels like home!

*You will also need to log in to your own Amazon, Hulu, Netflix accounts etc. Streaming services are not provided with the TV, just a way to access them.

This is a cozy and newly furnished basement apartment below a house with its own private entrance. It’s a quiet space that’s great for sleeping and relaxing, and close to everything you’d want to do in Columbia.

You will have the space completely to yourself with private access to the bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living room.

The basement is blocked off from the top floors of the home with a separate, private entry so the basement and top 2 floors are completely separate spaces. It is possible someone will be staying upstairs so there may be other guests on the property during your stay, but you will not need to interact with them, and you probably won’t see or hear them.

Guests will not share any living spaces or entrances with anyone else but may see a car come and go from the driveway or see someone in the parking area.

Please note that as there is a shared ceiling with guests staying above, there may occasionally be muffled walking noises from upstairs. We have done our best to soundproof things and have had only one guest comment on hearing any noise so far, everyone else says the apartment is quiet and cozy!

Other things to note
This apartment is spacious but it is meant for only 2 guests. Please do not book for more than that without first checking with us.
We are occasionally able to accommodate up to 3 maximum.
If you want to bring a third guest please let us know. There may be a small charge added so we can provide bedding for the sofa.
We reserve the right to decline a third guest if we don’t feel like it will be a good fit for the space.

The space
On Valentine’s Day 1945, a south Georgia born boy and a young Sicillian woman from Wisconsin, met across a hotel lobby in Milwaukee. He, a classically trained violinist and she, an elevator operator with poems in her heart and stars in her eyes. It was love-at-first sight and they wed that night. To get by in between gigs, young and starving newlyweds wrote songs that they sent off to everyone in Billboard magazine. Their first hit, Country Boy was being performed by Little Jimmy Dickens at the Grand Ole Opry as they pulled their dilapidated trailer and two baby boys into Nashville’s Rainbow Trailer Court. Boudleaux and Felice Bryant went on to get 800 songs cut, including hits such as Bye Bye Love, Wake Up Little Susie, Rocky Top, and All I Have to Do is Dream. As Nashville’s very first professional songwriters, they have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Hall of Fame, and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and have garnered dozens of awards.

Felice and Boudleaux are no longer with us but their legacy, love story, and music lives on.

When their son Del and daughter-in-law Carolyn decided to open a unique loft vacation rental, their first priority was making it luxurious, homey, and dreamy - a home away from home. The space
Featuring a beautifully decorated interior, the two bedrooms and one bathroom provide comfortable accommodations for up to four guests. Two whimsical and bold bedrooms have your comfort in mind and feature two twin beds in the first bedroom and a king bed in the second. The open floorpan and thoughtful furnishings and decor add to the aesthetics and overall open feel of the loft and the chic kitchen is equipped with everything one could ever need to make a great meal! Kids and adults alike will love love NBA JAM Home Arcade - play basketball with NBA Legends and dunk on some serious competition!

This jaw dropping, 2nd floor walk-up apartment is located above a bicycle shop on the Columbia Town Square in a historic brick building that dates back to 1857. Only 45 min. south of Nashville, the loft features high ceilings, exposed brick, unique architecture and plenty of historic charm and is definitely worth the drive. Get out of the city and enjoy small town, Main Street America at it’s very finest... local restaurants, shopping, craft brews, art and history and a good live music scene.

The space
The loft’s best feature may be the 13 ft windows that over look the square and the gorgeous 1905 courthouse, from which you can hear the clock in the tower on top of it chime every hour... Talk about WOW factor!

Measuring 1100 luxurious square feet, this loft has recently undergone a dramatic restoration by none other than Mike Wolfe of American Pickers. Featuring a playful mix of Wild West and Americana furnishings and decor, you can feast your eyes on unique, one of a kind pieces - many of which Mike has pulled out of barns and sheds across America. This is the first time that fans of American Pickers will get to see picks from the show presented as decor! Enjoy the collection of vintage denim and handprinted leather motorcycle jackets, 130 year old bicycles hanging from the ceiling, vintage signs and even a mint green 1951 Vespa! Hop on and pose for a worthy moment and share with your friends and family!

Walk out the door and you’ll discover an original downtown with a vibrant Main Street, bordered by the Duck River. Referred to as “Muletown” for the long standing tradition of “Mule Days” - an annual weeklong celebration going on in Columbia since the 1930’s, community pride and southern tradition run deep here. A beautiful place away from the bustle of life. The retreat sits on 28 majestic acres. This 2 bdrm-1 bath has been completely renovated. Views from every window. Do nothing & relax or schedule events on the property from finding fresh chicken eggs, meet the 4 Highland cows, 4 mini donkeys and 2 baby goats. Book a halter led ride with the horses or book a family photo session of your trip with our on site professional photographer or simply have a picnic and unwind. Fire pits are available too!

The space
As you enter through the gates and drive between the two open pastures with horses greeting you on either side, you will find your getaway just past the main house. Park in front of the two garage doors to the right. As you exit your vehicle, walk to the left of the garage and proceed to the exterior staircase which is well lit. As you get to the top of the staircase and enter your retreat, kick off your shoes, leave the farm outside and enjoy. There is plenty of shoe storage at the front door. There is a newly remodeled bathroom with two sinks and a skylight above which is a great place to freshen up or get ready for the day. Tucked inside a bathroom door is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen is newly remodeled with beautiful quartz, new cabinets, plenty of space to cook and plenty of space for your guests to chat and eat. There are five seats at the bar to eat and 8 chairs at the table. There is a seating area off the kitchen which provides a great place to relax, have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and get ready for the day. There is coffee and tea in the unit. If you want to watch tv, relax or just snuggle up to a good book, the sectional area is a great spot. There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of space to unpack and make your self at home. The second space has 2 twin beds and 2 full beds. Again, there is plenty of storage and places to unpack. As you exit, make sure to look to your right. The four mini donkeys, the chickens and the two baby goats are at play. The donkeys have their own distinct and wonderful bray. There is a fire pit outside if you want to unwind or go for a walk in the morning to catch some magnificent sunrises. This is our paradise which we would love to share with you!

There are many animals on the farm. They are secure behind the fences. Please do not enter any fenced area without a farmhand.
