If you are lucky enough to find yourself visiting the first Friday of every month you will find food trucks and craft vendors. The farmers market is located right off the square on the river walk. If you are in the mood for fine dining, hamburgers or bar hoping and karaoke you will find that on Riverside drive right off the square. The cottage is pet friendly and you can take Fido for a stroll on river walk or to the new dog park located at Maury County park. Load the bicycles provided and you will find scenic routes in short driving distances or just get your exercise in the sweet cottage neighborhood. There are nice scenic hiking trails within 5-10 miles as well. Muletown’s Retreat is in a quaint well established neighborhood and a hop skip and a jump from the heart of Muletown’s downtown district. Walking distance to many Restaurants, Hangouts, Antique shops, Coffee Shops, Breweries, Wine tasting, Boutiques, Bars and other unique shops and even a Church. First Friday’s the downtown has food trucks and the local downtown businesses stay open later. The farmers market is right around the corner for fresh veggies. There is a splash pad that the kiddos love within walking distance. An outdoor fitness area also is the perfect way to get in a nice workout right around the corner. There is an entrance to Riverwalk at the end of the street and a nice place for a leisurely stroll or a great place to walk Fido. There are many little paths and entrances to fishing holes. Frank’s shop has fishing passes and live bait to use with the fishing poles and cooler provided by Muletown’s Riverside Retreat. Get some snacks have a picnic and try some fishing for the day. Online fishing permits / passes are available with a smart phone. The property has a charm all its own with a retro feel while remaining a nice Retreat from it all. The small privacy fenced back yard hangout is my favorite place to unwind. We have a picnic grill and a one of a kind fence bar out back. There are smart tvs in all the bedrooms and the living room and recreation room with YouTube tv, Netflix all waiting for you. Pool table , mini fridge and lots of board games all found in the recreation room. Take the cornhole boards out and enjoy some down home fun! We have provided a couple of bicycles for you to cruise the neighborhood or downtown area or load up and enjoy biking and hiking trails nearby. You will find many accommodations throughout this little retreat walking distance to the up and coming Muletown’s square.

On Valentine’s Day 1945, a south Georgia born boy and a young Sicillian woman from Wisconsin, met across a hotel lobby in Milwaukee. With a living room downstairs, a bonus room upstairs, 3 bed, 2 bath, a kitchen big enough to comfortably cook for your whole family, you wont be disappointed. Relax after a long day in front of the gas fireplace inside, or roast some marshmallows outback by the fire pit. Challenge your friends to a game of foosball or watch your favorite show or sport in either the bonus room or living room.

Sleeping arrangements: There are two guest rooms downstairs, one with a queen bed and one with two single beds. The Master bedroom has a king sized bed. Then the bonus room has a trundle bed with two single beds. There is also a large comfortable couch in the bonus room and a couch in the downstairs living room that guests can also use for sleeping.

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood (at the end of a Cul-de-sac) that is family friendly. 20 min to historic downtown Franklin and 35 - 40 min to downtown Nashville.

I would highly recommend having a car for this location.

We do not allow parties at this property. We use a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. There is no electronic video surveillance or audio recording. It simply notifies guests and us when the noise levels has reached a volume that would disturb the neighbors.

A $300 security deposit will be charged to your card by Ghossein Getaways two days before checkout. This amount will be automatically refunded within three days after your departure, provided there are no damages or issues.
QUIET HOURS. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM each night and continue until sunrise. Quiet hours consist of no loud music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.

OCCUPANTS. The total number of individuals staying on the Premises should not exceed 10. If more than the authorized number of guests listed above are found on the Premises, this Agreement will be subject to termination by the Host. Please let us know in advance if you plan to have any visitors at the property.

Extra Charges:
A $50 extra cleaning fee will be added if confetti or glitter is used for a party and requires extra cleaning.

LONG STAYS: More the two weeks we charge an additional $50 every two weeks. Example 14 nights = $50 extra cleaning fee. 28 nights or more = extra $100 and so on.

SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited. Guests will be charged the $850 (yes its a lot, but this is the cheapest option we can find) it costs to get a company to come and get rid of the smell of smoke if our cleaner can not get rid of it.

This is a single level home. As you walk in, you will be welcomed into the living room which flows into the dining room and kitchen. We have a smart T.V. in the living room where guests can log into any of their streaming services. The kitchen is supplied with all basic cookware to stay in and enjoy a meal at home. Two of the guest rooms are in a hallway off of the living room, with a guest bathroom between them. One of the guest rooms has a queen bed and a smart T.V. The other guest room can sleep three people with a bunk bed (full on the bottom and single on the top). The primary suite is off of the kitchen. It is fitted with a comfortable king bed, smart T.V ensuite bathroom, and walk-in closet. The backyard is not fully fenced, and we do ask that you keep pets off of the furniture. But we are happy to provide a space for people to travel with their dogs.

We are a pet-friendly home. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know in advance and select the number of pets you are bringing. We allow up to two dogs. Our standard pet fee is $75, which covers 2 dogs for up to 4 nights. Anything beyond that, you will be charged a separate fee after booking of $15 per night per pet.

After booking, we will also send you a pet agreement that will need to be signed before your arrival. It basically asks guests to follow these guidelines:

- Pick up after dog droppings
- Do not allow the dog to bark excessively
- Do not allow dogs on furniture or beds
- Don’t leave animals unsupervised, unless they are in a crate.
- Put pet sheets on furniture
- Pets must be housebroken
- Crate the dog if left unattended indoors for a long period of time.
- Groom the dog before the trip and vacuum after your pet if it sheds excessively

Pet: If you bring a pet and there is excessive pet hair on the furniture and in the bedrooms an additional cleaning cost may be incurred.

SMOKING POLICY. Smoking on the Premises is prohibited. Guests will be charged the $850 (yes its a lot, but this is the cheapest option we can find) it costs to get a company to come and get rid of the smell of smoke if our cleaner can not get rid of it.

This is a private non-smoking/non-vaping/drug free home in a quiet residential family oriented community located just 5 minutes from Historic Downtown Columbia and 45 minutes to Nashville. The room is on the second level of my townhome. There are so many cute shops and restaurants minutes down the road! Columbia has so much to offer and is truly a charming town that is continuing to grow.

The space
Your room and your private bathroom is on the second floor of my townhome. *You will need to go up stairs when your arrive* You will have a Full size bed, a designated work space, a small Roku TV, blanket warmer, and a portable pedal bike if you'd like to workout in the room! The bathroom is right outside of the room which has a shower/tub. You will be able to hear cars go by at times as the townhome is located off a highway. I live on the second floor and our family friend Scott is on the first floor. We are out and about most of the time during your stay so you will definitely have your privacy. My cat Bleu will be home. He is sweet and also does his own thing.

There are stairs to get to your private room right when you walk through the door so please be mindful when going up and down so you do not slip. There is a railing to hold onto as well. They were recently redone and are in great condition.

We have a single car garage for you to keep your vehicle out of the elements, a small fenced in area for your pet and large backyard (unfenced), and a front porch for you to have a morning coffee on. Located just a few minutes from Historic Downtown Columbia which includes all the shopping/eating you desire.

The space
Unlike a lot of duplex's you actually have a private garage and a private FENCED in yard. With pets being ALLOWED this fenced in area is so nice to be able to hang out outside and BBQ while keeping your pet safe and contained. We also have a big backyard that is shared with the guest next door but it is such a good size you won't be bothered. Neighbors are very kind and will love to get to know you.

You will access the property from the back door to get in but once you get in you will be able to access it from the front as well.

Other things to note
We ask that there is no loud music or loud noise inside or outside after 10pm. No running throughout the space as it can disturb the guests on the other side. We want you to have fun and enjoy our space but we also need to be observant to our neighbors. We encourage guests to travel with their pets as we appreciate hosts that allow pets when we travel. With that being said the 1st pet is free and every additional pet is $10 up to 3 total pets. The $10 per pet covers our cleaning fee for the next potential guest that may have an allergy.

The space
This spacious one-bedroom, one-bath basement apartment includes a full kitchen, cozy living room, and thoughtful touches throughout. Tucked away below our historic home, the space is unassuming from the outside—but inside, it’s warm, inviting, and full of character.

Located in one of Columbia’s most charming and historic neighborhoods—surrounded by homes dating back to the antebellum era—you’re just steps from the vibrant downtown square, filled with shops, restaurants, bars, and local art.

Central heating and air plus supplemental units in each room ensure comfort. Decorated by local artists, the space also includes Wi-Fi, two 55" Roku TVs *with streaming apps signed in!* , and a full kitchen with range, fridge, microwave, and a Keurig. Everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The city is filled with vibrant neighborhoods and beautiful parks and outdoor spaces, with the trendy Arts District just around the corner. And, of course, Nashville is only a short drive away, and nearby towns like Spring Hill and Franklin offer even more to explore during your visit.

Two things to note:

The landscaping and outdoor areas are gradually being improved. Please "pardon our dust" if adjustments are being made during your stay. The work is sporadic and does not include construction, though. To minimize any impact on those staying with us, we will aim to pause work while guests are onsite.

Also, the shower, while clean and fully functional, is a bit smaller and more vintage in style. A new shower is in the works as part of our ongoing updates, and we’ve adjusted the pricing to reflect these "works in progress" —making this a great value in a creative, cozy space just steps from Columbia’s vibrant downtown.

Finally, you might be happy to know that, by booking with us, you’re also supporting something bigger. We serve full-time with an international nonprofit that mobilizes artists, musicians, and other creatives—many from the music industry—to volunteer their time and talents to bring hope and care to people in need.

Through community events and outreach, we help connect underserved neighborhoods with resources and support, using creativity to build relationships and lift communities. It’s a fully volunteer-driven effort—something like Habitat for Humanity, but building communities with music and art instead of hammers and nails.

My husband and I live upstairs with our 8-year old Shiba Inu. While you may notice us occasionally coming and going, you'll only catch sight of our Shiba Inu when we take him outside on a leash for bathroom breaks or walks. Please note that our Airbnb unit is entirely pet-free, ensuring a comfortable environment for all guests.

Regarding amenities, we've stocked up your space with essentials like coffee, creamer, sugar, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, and more to kickstart your visit. These items are provided in generous amounts to cover your initial needs. If you find yourself needing more during your stay, you can easily pick up extra supplies at nearby stores.

We strive to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all our guests. In the rare event of any damage, staining, or significant mess left behind that exceeds normal wear and tear, additional cleaning fees may apply to cover the costs of repair, cleaning, and/or sanitization. Your cooperation in helping us preserve the quality of our space is greatly appreciated.

To provide optimal comfort throughout your stay, we've installed a temperature sensor in the Airbnb unit. The main thermostat is located in the upper unit where we reside. Typically, we maintain a cooler temperature at night and a warmer one during the day.

This is a beautiful and newly furnished bedroom apartment in the heart of Columbia with its own bathroom and private entrance and free parking.

It is super centrally located and very walkable! You can walk to downtown Columbia and multiple restaurants, coffee shops and stores in just a few minutes from the house.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and an attached bathroom with a shower and tub.

It is stylishly furnished with all linens and towels provided.

The bathroom has hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a hair blow dryer and a clothes steamer.

You have a microwave for any light heating up/cooking you need to do, and a coffee maker with coffee, creamer and sugar provided. There are also coffee mugs and wine glasses provided, and a Brita water pitcher in the mini fridge for drinking water.

Relax in the comfortable bed with a TV, Roku and fast WiFi or walk to get dinner in the square downtown, and browse some lovely antique and boutique stores nearby!

It’s a small but private and cozy space that’s great for sleeping and relaxing, and close to everything you’d want to do in Columbia.

This is a cozy and newly furnished one room apartment space attached to a house with its own private entrance. It’s a beautiful space that’s great for sleeping and unwinding, and close to everything you’d want to do in Columbia.

You will have the space completely to yourself with private access to the bedroom and attached bathroom. There is no kitchen as this is just one bedroom, but you have a microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker.

The room is blocked off from the rest of the home and has a separate, private entry so it is a separate space from the rest of the home, with a shared wall. There is a shared door but it is locked and blocked off with a bookcase on one side, and TV & stand on the guest’s side against the locked door. The door is blocked off and never opened or used.

Owners or other guests may be staying in the rest of the house and in the basement. You will not need to interact with them, and you probably will not see them.

Guests will not share any living spaces or entry doors/entrances with anyone else but may see a car come and go from the driveway or see another guest in the parking area or coming up the deck stairs.

Please note that as there is a shared wall and ceiling, there may occasionally be walking or talking or light kitchen noises. We have done our best to soundproof things well and have no complaints of noise so far.

*Please note that this bedroom studio is accessed by stairs (as pictured), so it is not wheelchair accessible.

There are 12 steps up to a deck, and then 5 up to the door from the deck.

It is important to consider that you will need to be able to carry your luggage up and down the stairs.

*Also note that there is no private thermostat included but there is a ceiling fan and extra blankets. If you need the temperature adjusted please message us and we are happy to have it adjusted for you!

*You will also need to log in to your own Amazon, Hulu, Netflix accounts etc on the TV. Streaming services are not provided, just the Roku to log in to your accounts.

Our Sweet Escape studio apartment is a sweet escape from the busyness and hurry of life. Located in the sweet town of Columbia, Tn. which was named "Top 10 Best Small Towns" by Southern Living. Our neighborhood is near the Duck River and only minutes from Downtown. There's plenty to see and explore from kayaking and hiking to dining and shopping. The studio is on the back of our property with separate parking and boasts plenty of natural light and the most charming patio to relax on.

The space
Our studio is an addition on the back side of our detached 3 car garage which make the entrance and parking private and also is fenced in giving our guests the privacy they desire. WE DO NOT HAVE A TV as we have intentionally crafted our space to be a peaceful and restful getaway in our charming small town. However, we do have Wi-Fi for our guests.

The space has a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave.

Escape the traffic and enjoy this quaint town of 5000 friendly people, appropriately known as “Maury’s Mayberry”. In your second floor (no elevator) apartment, located on our historic downtown square, you are just a few steps to local restaurants and shops. Explore the town’s small, locally owned shops and restaurants, soak in its history at the Mount Pleasant Museum and check out the eclectic music scene at Hay Long Hall.

Wine connoisseurs will enjoy a visit to the tasting rooms at Amber Falls Winery, Keg Springs, and Natchez Hills Vineyard - all within an 20 minute drive. Still House Hollow Falls, an easy hike in the beautiful Middle Tennessee countryside is just a few minutes away, as is the Amish settlement of Ethridge. Stop in at the Amish Visitors Center and take a wagon tour of Amish country, or get a map and explore with the self-guided tour. Depending on the time of year, the Amish sell everything, from fresh vegetables, eggs to hand made furniture. Don't forget to tour the Rattle and Snap Plantation or hike the scenic Natchez Trace Trail.

Hop on the Mule Town Trolley and visit our neighbors to the North; Columbia and Spring Hill. A $1 ticket will take you to the Columbia Square where you’ll find great shopping, food and entertainment and then on to The Crossings at Spring Hill Shopping Center with over 80 stores and restaurants.

If the big city is calling, Nashville,TN, Huntsville, AL and Florence, AL are all just an hour drive away.

Entry to the Loft is located in the rear of the building. You will see a sign for "The Hamilton Lofts".

Our downtown square is currently under construction. All construction is during the daytime hours 8am-5pm. There is no evening or nighttime construction. Ample parking is still located on the Main Street in front of the loft location and the parking lot directly across the street which is visible from the Loft at 121.

Guests will not share any living spaces or entrances with anyone else but may see a car come and go from the driveway or see someone in the parking area.

Please note that as there is a shared ceiling with guests staying above, there may occasionally be muffled walking noises from upstairs. We have done our best to soundproof things and have had only one guest comment on hearing any noise so far, everyone else says the apartment is quiet and cozy!

This apartment is spacious but it is meant for only 2 guests. Please do not book for more than that without first checking with us.
We are occasionally able to accommodate up to 3 maximum.
