This place is a great place to relax and just to get away from our hectic lives. Also, it is a great place to have great fun and make memories. The location is convenient to many recreation ventures such as marina's, restaurants, shopping, golf, hunting, water park, and Land Between the Lakes.

The view of the lake is truly breathtaking with the sunsets. At any given moment you may see all kinds of wildlife, from birds, bald eagles, deer, and fox.

~It's a 10 passenger boat. Basic, adult, orange, life jackets will be provided. Please bring children's life jackets.~
~No need to reserve in advance unless you want it during a time it's not included.~

You will love this custom built home! We are located less than one mile from US highway 68/80...on a dead end street...making it a very quiet and relaxing location!

As you can see in the pictures, this home features two bedrooms both with private baths. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed.. The upstairs loft will sleep 3 with a full and twin sized bed. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is stocked with the basic necessitates to make your stay as relaxing as possible. There is a screened in back porch for your bug-free enjoyment.

I live at the end of the street and you are always welcome to stroll down 3 houses and use the entire peninsula lot! This cottage is not allowed a dock on the main channel but you are welcome to use our dock, its just a 3 min walk down to our lot. The 55'' LED Samsung TV has a Roku for your enjoyment. Also, free Wifi for your convenience. On a chilly day, you can snuggle up on the leather couch and enjoy the gas log fireplace. Included in your stay is a 5 person pass to The Fitness Center at Lake Barkley State Park. The Fitness Center features; indoor pool, sauna, steam room, racquetball, free weights, Nautilus machines, outdoor basketball, outdoor tennis, daily aerobic classes, and much much more.

This house will be most comfortable with 5 or less people. 8 guests is our maximum.

No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet.

Offsite- A 5 person pass to the Lake Barkley State Park fitness center is provided. Pool and hot tub are located at the finest center.

 There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.

 ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.

 The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs. We recommend bringing your own cooking spices and any type of storage for your food you might need.

 There is a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

 The neighborhood is located on a dead end street and is usually very quiet.

 Our neighbors’ kids play in the street so please drive with caution.

 The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.

 The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.

 The steps on the deck will lead you all the way to the shoreline.

 The water is gently sloping and you can swim from the shore.

 The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.

 Yes, you can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply, licenses are easily purchased online.

 You can use any of the docks on the bayside at the end of the street.

 Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy.

-With being on the lake there is always a chance of bugs, please understand we do everything we can to keep the outside of the house clean but sometimes it just is not possible. June, July, and August have what is called a Mayfly hatch occasionally, they do not bite and are good for fishing.
• We have 6 pontoon boats available for rent. They are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance, our rental website is enjoylakebarkley.com (click on boats). The boats are always docked at our docks. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from sunrise to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing and emergence personnel will be notified. If you are staying during the promotional period you can disregard the rental paragraph.
• No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. No half day rentals. An additional $300 deposit will be held for the pontoon.

 I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city.

You will see a variety of wildlife from squirrels, turkeys and grazing deer; two-bedroom cabin-sleeps up to 6 guests (rates are based on 2 guests, (additional guests are $15.00 per guest, per day) with 1 Queen sized bed, 1 set of hand built twin bunk beds with ample headspace for adults to sleep in and a Queen size pullout Sofa Bed. Cabin was hand built with gorgeous woodworking and customization, with a beautiful covered front porch.

Gorgeous new home with 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a Hide-a-Bed. Sleeps 6 but you can ask for an air mattress to sleep 8. Beautiful kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, master suite with whirlpool tub and walk in tiled shower, king bed, electric fireplace and 43 inch tv. Living room has an electric fireplace, and 50 inch tv. Kitchenette upstairs with full size refrigerator, coffee pot, and toaster oven. Full kitchen downstairs.
This beautiful home has a cozy covered front porch with 6 rocking chairs. Around back we have a fire pit with 8 seats, BBQ grill, and a small covered porch. - "Nice family cabin. Patty, the owner, was an awesome host. Cabin was very clean & well stocked with the necessities. Our kids loved bunking upstairs. The balcony was a favorite spot to read, hang out, lounge on the hammock. We visited LBL 1850's Working Settlement, Bison & Elk Prairie. Venture River Waterpark (30 min) Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center (40 min). We did not utilize the boat slip this time but the kids did fish off the dock. (It is a steep trip up from the dock - good workout!) Patty was very accommodating and a pleasure to visit with. We plan to visit again!!"
