The most common comments we get is this place is so nice and spacious! Our home is in an extremely safe area and has a privacy fence around the back for your safety and privacy! We have great pizza places as well as many other eating places such as Cracker Barrell, Chick filet, and we have a Jimmy Johns at the end of the street!

Baby playpen available upon request Outside area is over 5 acres and you're welcome to walk around and sit at the small pond or near the barn. Yard has trampoline for kids, above ground pool and basketball goal outside. NEW Deck outside suite perfect for overlooking the woods or grilling on provided charcoal grill. Quiet area. Very close to Yellow Creek Park and highway 54. Must walk around house on grass to entrance. Children must be supervised around pond or pool. Swim at own risk. For stays over one week, guests will need to supply own toilet paper and paper towels after starter supply runs out. NO smoking of anything. If you smoke, $200 fee non negotiable. My big kids loved the pop-a-shot, foosball, and Galaga. My husband and I loved the peacefulness. It was such a nice change of pace not having a tv to do tract everyone. But if you need to plug in, the wifi is strong. I was able to pull out my laptop and catch up on work when I needed to. The hosts considered everything- from toiletries to plenty of towels to even having feminine hygiene products. At first, my kids were very unhappy about the la k of a tv. One even cried. But by the end, they asked if we could come back every year. I even got a little emotional when we closed the door to check out."

Our spacious home has one queen bed in the master bedroom with an attached bath and a spare bedroom with two twin beds and a separate bath, all located upstairs. The full laundry room is available for use, stocked with an iron, detergent, and dryer sheets.

Downstairs features a beautiful living space which has a flat screen television, books, board games and a pull-out couch. The TV has full access to Netflix, Prime Video, and a few other entertainment apps. We’ve also included a gorgeous dining space to seat up to six guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the things needed to accommodate for cooking large dinners or just popping meals in the microwave!

There is a stationary bike located in the garage for those who love to hit the gym and a walking trail called “The Greenbelt” just a short walk away. Access to parking in the garage is available upon request.

We invite you to check out our gorgeous, fenced in, backyard while you stay! In the summer, the banana trees are in full bloom, and they give a tropical vibe. The fire pit, surrounded by Adirondack chairs, is available for use throughout the summer and fall. There will be firewood located in the garage, however if you use it, please replace it. Huck’s gas station is located just across Highway 54 and they keep plenty in stock

If you're looking for a five-star hotel; they are out there with price to match. This is a small duplex, snuggled behind two houses, and sheltered by a large, shade bearing tree. It is 3/4 mile west of Frederica Street; the main street of Owensboro. 2 miles to downtown & 5 miles to shopping and a theater.

We can accommodate both short and long term stays. The duplex is an older structure that has been renovated on the inside (we will begin working on the outside next year). One must climb two steps to enter and then all is level inside. The inside has original wood flooring in living room and bedroom; vinyl tile in kitchen and bath. A queen size bed is provided and a twin or futon could be added if requested. This size is good for one or two people; perhaps a little one could tag along. We are now working on a laundry for each side - this is a work in progress but you will have access during your stay.

We are close to Edge Ice and Sports Arena, Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, Convention Center, Theatre Workshop, Legion Park and Owensboro Symphony Orchestra. The Riverfront entertains families and music lovers with FREE outdoor entertainment during summer’s Friday after 5! Don’t forget that the Ellis Horse Park Raceway & Romp Music Festival are only about 40/45 minutes away.

The space
We offer a relaxing 3 Bedroom 1 Bath home for you to enjoy.

Split floor plan offers a bedroom on one side of the home that includes a grand King size bed, while just down the hall are two other bedrooms. One offers a nice comfortable Queen size bed. The third bedroom is filled with a relaxing reclining sofa and a full size bed.

Cozy, comfortable living room with sectional couch.

Bathroom is stocked with everything you could need! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and more for an easy stay.

Kitchen is stocked with all the things you would need to cook or stock for a longer stay. We provide coffee and tea for your early mornings or later evenings. This is our secondary home so please enjoy any of the snacks we provide.

Washer and Dryer included in the laundry room as well as an ironing pad and iron. We do provide laundry pods and dryer sheets, but for longer stays we just get you started then you are on your own from there.

Fully fenced in backyard for children or fur babies to roam. We do require a pet fee, and only allow 2 animals per stay.

The Cottage House is centrally located to library and 1 1/2 miles from Riverfront. This 1930s home has hardwood floors, glass door knobs, and rounded entry ways. The kitchen has been remodeled with new appliances, cabinets and countertops. The upstairs bedroom is a large finished attic with its own heating and cooling system. We do allow pets for an additional one-time fee of $45 paid through Airbnb. No more than two dogs and we ask that animals not sleep or be on the beds.

The Cabin in Town is recently remodeled home from the 1950s with hardwood floors and original trim work. The house is centrally located in town on a nice quiet street and ready to receive guests.
