- "HayJac house is the place to stay while in Bardstown. This home will not disappoint you. There is more than enough space and essentials for two couples at the home. Jim and Gina have made sure their guests are comfortable by stocking the home with extra bath towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials. They even thought of little things like small throw blankets for the cool mornings or evenings, extra wine and bourbon glasses and a supply of coffee. They were quick to respond to any communication. The home is nicely decorated and very clean. Hadorns bakery is next door and is a must to visit and other restaurants are within walking distance. The back patio is a great place to relax after a day on the Bourbon Trail."

- "Overall, excellent. I would be concerned if the other units were occupied as the walls in this historic building seemed thin. The bedrooms have a door that opens to the front hallway and definitely are not sound proof. For the cost and the location, worth the risk of dealing with potential noise. I do have a concern about the steel staircase up to the unit from the back. The original landing that is still there even though there is a steel plate installed over it has what looks like significant rust. Being a developer, I would have it replaced in the next year or so. Would rent this unit again!"

Amenities include: free wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, 76" screen TV, private bath, washer/dryer, self-controlled AC/heat, hairdryer, iron, bidet, private entrance, free street/private parking and a large private back porch for guests. AND, if you forget something, just text me and I'll be happy to accommodate you with the forgotten item.
Guest access
You'll have a private bathroom, laundry area, and back porch and of course room. You may see a neighbor in their yard or myself coming in from the grocery, but your stay will be as private as YOU choose. Your room has keyless entry to make it even more private. Street parking is available, or park in the rear of the residence if that works better for you.
Other things to note
I absolutely love living in downtown Bardstown. The convenience of walking downtown to shop or eat never gets old. I've lived in Nelson County most my life and I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I love living here!
