The HayJac House is a luxurious 2000 square foot fully remodeled and restored circa 1910, minimal traditional home located in historic downtown Bardstown one block from shops, restaurants and night life. Golf courses are also nearby.

The HayJac House is just 45 minutes from Louisville/Churchill Downs and centrally located on the World Famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail including bourbon distilleries in Bardstown, Nelson County.

The HayJac House offers you two large suites with king beds, luxury bedding, 4 large flat screen TV’s and sitting areas and they are all on the first floor.
The kitchen has all new appliances and is fully equipped for your culinary needs. The home has four exterior doors for easy access and is handicap accessible as well. The home also has full sized Speed Queen Washer and Dryer.

Your safety is one of our major concerns. There are 6 exterior security cameras in place. There are a total of 8 fire and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the entire home and attic. With construction just completed in 2018 the entire house is up to date with latest building codes and safety features.

In the unlikely event of a power failure, this beautiful home is equipped with a whole house standby electric generator.
Also, for your added comfort and pleasure the home is equipped with a whole house water filtration system to make your favorite bourbon and water drink tastes its best.

Jim and Gina have made sure their guests are comfortable by stocking the home with extra bath towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials. They even thought of little things like small throw blankets for the cool mornings or evenings, extra wine and bourbon glasses and a supply of coffee. They were quick to respond to any communication. The home is nicely decorated and very clean. Hadorns bakery is next door and is a must to visit and other restaurants are within walking distance. The Grigsby House is a two-story, two-bedroom, two and a half bathroom charming townhouse located in the heart of downtown Bardstown. This property is within walking distance from historic Bardstown's main street, St. Joseph Basilica, The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History and overlooks the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair.

Our home is located on a busy street. This causes some street noise which is a trade-off for the great location right in town. We do provide sound machines in the bedrooms to help with this noise.

Located on the Bourbon Trail, you will be a short drive from several popular distilleries. Our loft is perfect for a Bourbon Trail explorer, a couples getaway, families and business travelers. You will also find popular local events such as the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and Arts and Crafts Fair just steps away.

The loft features a full kitchen, bathroom, sitting room and two bedrooms. One bedroom overlooks North Third Street with large windows to enjoy the view. This bedroom does have some street noise but we provide a soothing sound machine and ear plugs for your comfort. We have also installed blackout and noise filtering curtains to help with the street light and noise. This is an old building with strict restrictions on replacing the windows so the old windows do rattle some. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend sleeping in the first bedroom. The bathroom is attached to the first bedroom. You must pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom and the second bedroom. There is also some water damage on the walls from water seeping in through the bricks. This is an ongoing issue with this old building that is repaired on occasion but then returns. This is part of the charm of this historic building. We want everyone to enjoy their stay so we want to disclose these potential issues so you can make an informed decision when booking your stay.

A cozy cabin within a few miles of several distilleries, downtown Bardstown, and many other local attractions. The cabin sits on 1 acre and is pretty secluded. Surrounded by mostly farmland, it’s the perfect spot to sit on the front or back porch and enjoy the scenery while you have your morning coffee, an evening BBQ, playing a few of the games we provide, or a fire at the firepit. Large screen tv in great room and master bedroom which had streaming apps. Nice blinds on all the windows. Spacious closets with hangers, washer and dryer in master closet. Large sectional and ottoman in the great room. Ceiling fans in all rooms and extra box fans in closets if needed and a full tub with shower in the bathroom. The child swim class was not an issue, you only hear the children if you are outside or have the door open. Location was great as it is very close to I65 and other local highways. Candice and I invite you to be our guests. Our Carriage House Is located about 200 ft behind the main house and we are only one mile off I65 exit 91a and 6 miles from the Elizabethtown Sports Park. We are just 2 miles from downtown Elizabethtown and 6 miles from the antique shops of Glendale. This is a great place to stay while touring close by Bourbon Distilleries. We are also less then 1 hour from Louisville, Mammoth Cave, Rough River, Nolin Lake and Green River Lake. Bernheim Forest (our favorite) is only 30 minutes away which is a must see for nature lovers, artists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Our guests have access to the entire estate with exception of our house and garage. Great for walks, grilling, picnics, campfires, fishing and seeing nature.

While the Carriage House is non-smoking we provide a covered smoking area for guests and allow smoking anywhere outdoors.
