The house is NOT riverfront. You can reach the lake by walking through the woods but it's recommended that you drive to West Fork Recreation Ares that has access to the boat ramp or Nice Mill Recreation Area and Fishing hole for water activities. Both locations are within a mile. Stones River park is part of and connects to the J. Percy Priest Lake system. in Nashville and it also flows to Murfreesboro, TN. The boat ramp is approximately 1 mile away.

The home has wonderful amenities. Home is over 1400 sq. ft with formal dining room 3 bedroom and 2 baths. Guests will have access to the entire property, Except for the storage facility behind house.

Uber and Lyft are available, but a car is recommended.

Pets are welcome but we ask that you please let us know how many and what type you plan to bring. We charge $100 per pet and ask that you not allow them on furniture during your stay as a courtesy to guests after you.

This property backs into the woods. That means there will be some wildlife and that includes deer, rabbits, opossums, raccoons, and bugs!. As much as we will try to control this with pest control, this is just a part of being connected to the wooded area, so please be aware.

Back of home is the property of the Corp of Engineers and Stones River a short walk from home.

- "I chose this property for its location and promising pictures, despite it having no prior reviews—a decision I regret. Upon entering, we were greeted by numerous air fresheners attempting to mask an indescribable odor, which immediately raised red flags. Out of respect for the home, we removed our shoes as we unpacked groceries, but I quickly noticed issues. The refrigerator handles were sticky with gunk, and the freezer doors were frozen shut with unidentified liquids. The kitchen surfaces felt sticky, leaving the impression of incomplete cleaning. Upstairs, as we placed our bags in the bedrooms, the smell of marijuana grew stronger. When we sat at the dining table to plan our evening, we found the tabletop wasn’t even attached to the base. I contacted the host, who called back promptly but only offered half our money back as a solution. The next morning, things worsened. When my husband tried to make coffee, he discovered old grounds in the basket covered in mold. While the host was polite and responsive, the property itself fell far short of expectations."

Cumberland Cottage is a cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath home located in a quiet friendly neighborhood just 25 miles from Nashville, in the historic Murfreesboro/Smyrna Tennessee. It is all one-level with no carpet and has an inviting covered back deck overlooking a huge fenced back yard with lovely mature trees.
If you prefer to sit out front, there is also a covered porch where you can relax and enjoy the neighborhood.
The cottage is an older home that has quirks and also benefits that come with with it, such as the covered back deck, open floor plan, yard space and mature landscaping. Dogs under 30lbs are welcome at the Cottage (pet fee applies).

There is a park 2 blocks away, Many restaurants, shops, and entertainment close by. You should visit the Assembly Food Hall off 5th and Broadway. African American Museum. You can be in Nashville in 15 to 18 minutes on weekends when there is normally no traffic. You can visit Opryland Hotel and Outlet Mall. Nashville Shores is great for the family. Topgolf is exciting to hangout with your friends. Favorite restaurants are The Southern, Twelve Thirty which is Justin Timberlakes honk tonk, restaurant and supper club. Sixty Vine, Optimist, Jeff Ruby's. A suggestion, make reservations for all restaurants.

Welcome to the Allen house! Relax with the whole family in this peaceful, clean farmhouse while enjoying the views of a stable and horses in your backyard! We have three porch swings and multiple rocking chairs on a covered wraparound country porch. It has a full kitchen and formal dining room, with a large living room and large master bath too! It is two stories, but it is fully handicapped accessible with an interior chair lift and an exterior electric ramp for wheelchairs (these features are locked for safety reasons and the guest(s) must contact us prior to check-in for access). Only 30 minutes from the bustle of Nashville and country music, but nestled in a quiet established neighborhood with a fenced in backyard (*fencing may not keep in smaller dogs). We are centrally located 24 miles from the airport, 23 miles from Franklin, and just 12 miles from Murfreesboro! Also just minutes from grocery stores, shopping, recreation parks, fishing, and so much more! It is a large house with plenty of room for everyone. We know you will love it as much as we do!

We are pet friendly as well for up to 2 pets! (The Pet Stay is $15/pet/night.) We do have a pet crate policy for this home. When dogs are left unattended we ask that they remain in their crates. We also request that the dogs stay off the furniture and beds. We (and future guests) appreciate your compliance with our pet policy.

Other things to note:
You have the whole house to yourself. There is a separate apartment above the garage with the side entrance reserved for the equine caretaker used only during inclement weather.

I absolutely wish we could offer an early check-in! However, this is a large property that takes between 6-10 hours to prepare for the next guest after someone checks out. It usually is not ready until right at 5 PM. We will always let you know if it does happen to be ready any earlier. Both bedrooms have Queen beds with Cooling Memory Foam mattresses and microfiber sheets for comfort and refreshing sleep. Quilt, duvet and extra pillows/blankets available.
Primary bedroom has a large desk for all your work needs.

Bathroom has plenty of towels, a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Additionally, we have a small box of toiletries, in case you should happen to forget something.

Laundry is available during your stay and offers a full washer and dryer, including detergent.

If travelling with an infant or small child, a pack-n-play and portable high chair are available for your use. They are located in the primary bedroom closet.

Please note that Property is a duplex; therefore sharing one common wall. Both units have their own private entrance and are similar in layout.

The whole home is accessible (except locked closet with owner's supplies) during your stay, including the yard. Please note the backyard is private, but not currently fenced in.

This home is not suited to host more than 5 adult guests plus an infant and is limited only to those listed in the reservation. Any additional guests or visitors must be discussed/disclosed prior to arrival.

- "The home is absolutely beautifully updated. We were very pleasantly impressed. Everything was just as described. The property manager was easy to communicate with, quick to respond when I had a question. The only problem we had was that there are no washcloths included with the towels in the bathroom. When I questioned this, it was explained that it was because they had to throw them away all the time because of stains, but it would seem to me that using white bath towels and hand towels would face the same challenges. So we had to make a trip to purchase washcloths after spending a day at the water park before anyone could shower because this was not disclosed in the listing. All in all, it was a good stay, would recommend."

Our space is very unique in that it was once a garage, repurposed into an efficiency apartment. It is about 340 sq ft of living space, so while it's not a tiny house, it's exactly in that range! A full bathroom, bedroom and closet, and nice open living area with kitchenette are all part of the package.

We have lovingly and purposefully added small details and features throughout the Guesthouse that maximize the space and also make it feel like home. We have also added some features per guest suggestions over the years.

We have a big, open backyard with a picnic table right next to a wooded area. The picnic table is shaded by trees for most of the day.

You'll enter your suite up four stairs close to parking. The area you enter first is a sitting room with a sofa bed (for guests #3-4), wall-mounted flat screen TV with Prime, Netflix and Hulu, small table and chairs and an area containing a Keurig, mini-fridge and microwave. To the left is a large bathroom with tub and walk-in shower (Full disclosure: the tub jets are currently out of order). The bedroom has a queen-size bed, walk-in closet and dresser space. It is clean and uncluttered. Just lovely, in our humble opinions! :)

Guests may enjoy the entire five acres, including the front/back porches, deck and screened patio. We have muck boots and insect repellant for you to use if you're feeling adventurous! :)

We do have two super friendly dogs. We ask that you don't feed them, since one of them has a sensitive tummy and will leave us a surprise on our living rug if he gets people food. The dogs may greet you if they happen to be outside when you are coming/going, but we'll keep them away from you if you'd like.

Enjoy a quiet, comfortable stay in our well appointed farmhouse. You will feel right at home as soon as you enter the door! A 2 story grand foyer leads to the open concept living room with vaulted ceilings, plenty of comfortable seating, and a 60" HDTV with Roku. Continuing the open concept from the living room is the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. There is a formal dining room off of the kitchen. The primary bedroom of the living room features a luxurious king sized bed and 4K Roku TV. The primary bathroom features a jetted jacuzzi tub and separate shower. If you are traveling with a 3rd and 4th guest, there is a daybed with trundle featuring memory foam mattresses located in the upstairs loft. Enjoy the views of a stable and horses in your backyard! We have two rear porch swings and multiple rocking chairs on a covered wraparound country porch. This home is equipped for handicapped-accessibility including an interior stair lift and exterior wheelchair lift (Must contact us prior to check-in day).

You will have access to the entire home and back yard, with the exception of 2 bedrooms upstairs that will be locked-off (those can be made available through a different booking for the whole home). We do share the driveway with a working horse farm behind the home, so the driveway must remain unblocked. There is parking for at least 4 vehicles, and we can accommodate larger ones with special permission, just ask to see what we can accommodate. The home is lovely, and the peace and tranquillity of this family retreat is unmatched in Nashville! Truly a one of a kind home!

Cumberland Cottage is located in a quiet subdivision just 25 miles from Nashville in historic Murfreesboro, TN. This 1200 sf property has a covered front porch, covered back deck, and a fenced back yard with beautiful mature trees, fire pit, grill, and outdoor dining table. The driveway can accommodate several cars, moving trucks, or recreational vehicles.

We are dog friendly! Pets must be approved in advance and there is a pet fee per stay. Guests are asked to clean up after their pooches.

It is two stories, but it is fully handicapped accessible with an interior stair lift and an exterior electric ramp for wheelchairs(contact us before check-in). Only 30 minutes from the bustle of Nashville and country music, but nestled in a quiet established neighborhood with a fenced in backyard! Also just minutes from grocery stores, shopping, recreation parks, fishing, and so much more! Only 1 mile away is a brand new Tesla charging station with 11 chargers! It is a large house with plenty of room for everyone. We know you will love it as much as we do!

We are pet friendly as well for up to 2 pets! (The Pet Stay is $15/pet/night.) We do have a pet crate policy for this home. When dogs are left unattended we ask that they remain in their crates. We also request that the dogs stay off the furniture and beds. We (and future guests) appreciate your compliance with our pet policy.

Our favorite part out the property is the back yard - cozy up in the hammock, to read your favorite book while sipping on some coffee as you listen to the birds. Stop and smell the flowers and herbs in our garden, we love to recycle and compost because we love the planet. If you book through the summer months, you will be able to see the hummingbirds visiting the garden through the day. Don’t forget to enjoy the pool or sunbathe on the deck during warm summer days. Or enjoy the sounds of nature while laying out at night.

Idler’s Retreat, also known as the Dillon-Tucker-Cheney House, a rare jewel in middle TN, is situated in the Front Street Historic District in Smyrna. Built in 1865, much of the original structure, flooring, and doors and hardware remain. This inviting home will always be remembered as a haven to scores of brilliant minds, who convened together to make the world a better place.

The space
This beautiful, historic estate features a main house with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, guest house with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and an olympic size swimming pool. The master suite in the main house is completely separate from the wing with the other two guest rooms. Both homes have been fully remodeled with a modern decor design.

EARLY CHECK-IN
I absolutely wish we could offer an early check-in! However, this is a large property that takes a great deal of time to prepare for the next guest after someone checks out. It usually is not ready until right at 5 PM. We will always let you know if it does happen to be ready any earlier. The ONLY way to guarantee early access will be to book the night before your reservation.

Welcome to The Retreat at Victory! Located on 3 acres and surrounded by woods and water, this property provides the ultimate getaway from the everyday stresses of life! We are excited to offer this 4 bed / 3 bath home and we have gone to the extreme to make it a top notch destination. This home features 2 King suites, a hot tub, a huge fire pit and even kayaks and paddle-boards. But most importantly, it provides peace and quiet!

The space
Although you're are well isolated from the business of the city, everything you need is still a short drive away!

Downtown Nashville 29 miles / 35-40 minutes
BNA Airport (Nashville) 23 miles / 35 minutes
Mount Juliet (Providence shopping area) 12 miles / 22 minutes
Smyrna, TN 8.6 miles / 15-20 minutes

The house is NOT lakefront. You can reach the lake by walking through the woods but it's recommended that you drive to the Lamar Hill access area for water activities. This boat ramp is a 1/2 mile away. 2 Kayaks, 2 Paddle-boards and a trailer will be provided! In the winter there's an awesome lake view !

The property also includes a fire-pit, hot tub and a huge deck for all your outside activities. There is a large field on one side of the house for activities as well.

This property features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. 2 of the bedrooms are King suites with their own bathrooms. One of them features it's own entrance and is VERY spacious. Of the other two bedrooms, one has a queen bed and the last one has 2 twin beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. All linens and towels are provided.

There are 3 full baths in the house. 3 of them feature stand up showers and the third has a tub / shower combo. Basic bathroom amenities are provided as well as a hair dryer and an iron.

The kitchen is very well stocked and has enough dinnerware for your group of 12. We have wine glasses, coffee mugs and the coffee bar features a standard as well as a Keurig coffee maker. Drip coffee starter packs are provided.

The dining area features a large farmhouse style table with 10 chairs.

NOTE: Inquire directly about single night stays. We keep a two-night or higher minimum requirement year-round but might make exceptions depending on the situation.

Pets are welcome but we ask that you please let us know how many and what type you plan to bring. We charge $100 per pet and ask that you not allow them on furniture during your stay as a courtesy to guests after you.

Note: This property is in the woods. That means there will be some wildlife and that includes deer, opossums, raccoons, and bugs!. As much as we will try to control this with pest control, this is just a part of being secluded so please be aware. Take this opportunity to become one with nature !

Spacious, serene, luxurious, unique space. With 8,000 SF(5,500 top floors, 2500 basement area with movie theater, pool table and another kitchen and bathroom with shower near pool area. Private, immaculate, on 10 acres. With a stocked lake, huge pool, loggia to relax and a sauna, a garden(feel free to grab what you want), gym, rec room, and more. Close to everything, 16 miles to BNA, Nashville 20 miles, MTSU 18 miles. Great for family vacations, retreats, celebrations, reunions,teams and more.

The space
Home has 3 floors.
Middle floor-where you enter the home has the master bedroom with a king bed, tv and a comfortable recliner chair as well as a full bathroom with a walk-in doorless shower and a jacuzzi size soaking tub, a kitchen, loggia with a hot tub, sauna and swing chairs overlooking the pool, land, lake and waterfall, dining room, living room with tv, huge bonus-rec room with basketball goal, numerous games, books and kids fun items, with lots of windows where you can also overlook the pool, land and lake, a gym, laundry room, another bathroom with a shower and a sitting room with windows to look out over the land from the kitchen where you can Enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee.

Top floor has 3 rooms, a living room area with tv and sofa, 2 full bathrooms one inside one of the rooms with 2 beds a twin and full size. Other rooms both have queen size beds. Middle lounge area upstairs has a twins size trundle bed. All rooms have tv’s. 3 air mattresses available(2 twin size and 1 full size) there is room in home to sleep up to 25 comfortably but we only supply bed options for 15 at this time.


Bottom floor-2500 SF basement area goes out to pool area. Has a kitchen, bathroom with shower that goes right out to pool patio and area, movie theater, pool table, disco ball area and huge open space with numerous usages. Please reach out for questions to use to host any types of gatherings. We have some tables and chairs that can be rented and can also refer you to any needed vendors. Also reach out if have any questions on longer stays.

There is also a trampoline on the property and a garden(feel free to get what you need if it’s available.) stocked lake with some fishing poles available but must get own bait(closest bait store academy sports and outdoors 4 miles away). Olympic sized pool. Corn hole.

Pool is open May-October unless specified. Pool has a tanning ledge and then goes to 3 ft, 5ft in middle and 7 feet down by the slide.

All tv’s are smart tv’s. WiFi available.
Kitchen has tea, coffee maker, blender, food chopper, juicer in pantry ,everything you need to cook and dine in. Home has a water softener system.

Early check in if available will incur a fee. Feel free to reach out to check and see if the option is available for your check in date on the day of, as we need ample time to clean, as it is a large 8,000 SF home and will all depend on previous guests and times etc. Unless approved please do not arrive at home before your checkin time.
No late checkouts allowed unless getting with host and host checks if available and approves for a fee if the option is available.
