The Loft is a stylish and cozy barndominium-style guesthouse built in 2024. It is located behind our home and has a private entrance. The farmhouse decor and open concept will make you feel right at home. We are in a great location in the country, only minutes from key local spots, including Dayton Boat Dock, Spring City Boat Dock, Bryan College, local restaurants, shopping, walking tracks, and hiking. There are food delivery options at this address as well.

This kitchen offers an open kitchen design that has plenty of space for moving around and preparing a home cooked meal for the entire family. It has a double oven and stove top to prepare a full course meal for the family. The home comes with the following supplies to help prepare almost any meal: Pots, Pans, Toaster, Rice Cooker, Crock Pot, Air Fryer, and Microwave. The space offers a 5 person bar top and a 4 person table so everyone can be together while preparing those unforgettable memories.

Those who need coffee in the morning this home has a traditional coffee pot and Keurig for the quick coffee drinks.

Welcome to the place that everyone can enjoy. It has all the Lake Views and offers the space so everyone can enjoy. There is a large table to enjoy dinner or games and then a couple couches to relax and watch the sunset. This all seasons deck also has a separate wall unit to turn on the AC during the summer nights. The windows can open as the temperature cools to enjoy the breeze.

There is a private dock with tie-ins for your own boat. We also have two - 1 person Kayaks, large paddle board, two person kayak, inflatable paddle board, and large lilly pad to enjoy and play in the water. We have plenty of life jackets for all ages.

The water at the edge of the dock is 4-5' depth which makes it great for boating or swimming. Don't forget your fishing poles, as there are many great fishing spots around the corner.

There are two (2) firepits, one by the water to enjoy the nights and also one by the house to stay close while you grill and spend time with the family. The yard is absolutely massive and plenty of room to ride bikes, run, throw football or frisbee with the family.

The large lot and plenty of toys the kids will create unforgettable family memories. We also have a fenced in front yard if you bring your furry family members to be safe and run around. The neighborhood has other pets that are out that will come say hi. ♿️ Mobility Access 👵🏻
We are NOT handicap accessible but the homes is a comfortable one level with 2-3 steps to enter the home. One Master is an open access shower. The shared bathroom has a jet tub/shower that is meant for assisted support while bathing. This should help accomdate all family members to come enjoy the lake.

This lake is controlled by TVA meaning that the water level changes during the winter months. The "off-season" is controlled by TVA and can vary from year to year. From October through April the level can be decreased from the peak season highs.

This basement rental is located in a neighborhood 3 miles from access to Lake Chic and the TN river (Dayton boat dock). Whether you are coming here to fish, visit the court house (and the Scopes Trial Play in July), competing at Ft. Bluff or visiting Bryan College, this house is conveniently located to each place. The driveway is large enough to handle 3 or 4 trucks pulling boats, and the back deck is huge (includes a gas grill). The kitchen is not a full kitchen, but a sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, toaster and coffee maker are included as well as dishes and utensils.

I live upstairs, I am quiet, and park in front of the house so guests have the full driveway and back deck.

Six will sleep comfortably. No smoking indoors and no pets allowed. With more than six (not related) there are additional fees.

The Chickamauga Dam closes in order to prevent flooding issues throughout the state of Tennessee. This necessary closure results in decreased water levels in our area. From the months of mid-October through mid-March there may be little to no water in our deck area so boating and fishing will not be available during this time.

Our beloved breathtaking cabin resort features 6532 square feet of private heated living space, boasting an impressively detailed main cabin, pool cabin, sauna cabin, and three guests cabins as described below.

Our lodge was built in 2013 with American craftsmanship featuring stunning artisan beams, wood mantels and high attention to detail in every way. The spectacular details emanate all the love and thought put into our home. Our property is private and no one else lives or rents on the property.

Cabin Property Breakdown:

The lodge’s main cabin, Mystic Lodge, boast a fully equipped kitchen with a double oven, coffee bar, wine bar, gas stove, 2 separate sinks and a spacious walk-in pantry. The locally custom wood table (9FT long) in the formal dining room has ample seating and is also conveniently located off of the kitchen. Six 4FT wooden benches surround this table for an intimate dinging experience with your closest friends and family. Natural light fills this entire area through a wall of windows showcasing the lakeside scenic view. All the cabinetry is rustic solid wood with natural knots, soft close drawers and doors. The main living room and all bedrooms have their own TVs with Dish Network and remotes. Two fireplaces adorn this cabin’s living areas, one in the Great Room and another in the downstairs Tavern.

Mystic River Tavern @ Mystic Lodge
At the bottom level of Mystic Lodge, you will find “Mystic River Tavern”, an entertainer's dream. This expansive tavern has a full bar area complete with a custom exotic built 360 wooden bars complete with stools, two kegerators (Guests are responsible for providing kegs and CO2, there are local vendors that sell kegs-ask for more details upon booking), storage cabinets, a mini refrigerator, bar ware and 2 overhead TV’s.

A beautiful wooden pool table will provide hours of fun along with mounted dart board and bar games hidden amongst the intricately themed tavern decor. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a homemade cocktail while gazing at the tavern’s eye-catching gas fireplace set in ledger stone.

“Mystic River Cinema” is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Here you and your guests can relax on three oversized, double reclining sofas complete with cup holders. Help yourself to our media center and theatre with surround sound. Hollywood and Broadway inspired decor adorn its rich dark wooden walls creating a warm and cozy spot to watch the big screen. Mystic River Fitness@ Mystic Lodge

“Mystic River Fitness” offers access to modern gym with exercise equipment such as a Marci Pro smith rack with 300lbs of free weights and 200 lbs. of dumbbells. Exercise in comfort on top of our 3/4 interlocking workout mat flooring. Yoga equipment is also available, including a mat, yoga blocks and ball. There is also an elliptical machine, ready for a cardio workout session.

Mystic Lodge’s Outdoor Kitchen

Outdoors on the main floor you will find a large wrap around wooden porch with heavy wooden rocking chairs, and below on the lower level is a complete outdoor kitchen including a smoker, large grill and skillet burner.

Mystic Retreat

This is first of Mystic River Lodges guest cabins. “The Retreat” offers a studio like setup including a full kitchen complete with a refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, sink, granite countertop and wooden cabinets. The rustic inspired decor adorn the living area with king bed and queen-size pull-out couch. There is a full bathroom and storage closet. A mounted TV and DVD player offer hours of entertainment. Outdoors a wraparound porch with heavy wooden rockers offers views of the main cabin, river and surrounding property.

Mystic Bunk

This is the second of the guest cabins. This two-room cabin has unique charm, with a cozy living room complete with a queen bed. In a separate room you will find two sets of twins sized wooden bunk beds with individual staircases leading to each. Off of the bedroom is the kitchenette, the perfect place to prepare light meals and snacks and holds conveniences such as a wood top sink, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven and a Keurig coffee maker. This cabin also includes a full bathroom.

Mystic Loft

This is the third of the guest cabins. This one room cabin has wood walls details with recessed LED lights, living room, kitchenette, and full bathroom. From the living room there are two loft platform containing a king bed on one side and a twin bed on the other. Both of these loft sections require the ability to climb up a custom wood ladder to access. The living room has a futon couch that converts to a twin bed and a TV with DVD. The kitchenette has a sink, Keurig coffee maker, mini frig, microwave and a toaster/over. The bathroom has a sink, shelves, toilet and shower.

Mystic River Dock - now with extra 40 ft of board walk.

Lakeside offers stunning views of the Chickamauga River during the spring and summer months. During winter months the water recedes due to the local dam closure and our dock becomes bare of water.

Kayaks, life vests and ores are available for guest use with a $100 wear fee and a $300 refundable deposit. Let us know that you are interested upon booking to receive your Kayak lock codes.

During the summer and spring season you will see fishermen in boats waiting for their next catch. Our wooden dock offers an area for fishing, tying a boat and sightseeing while sitting on our comfortable Adirondack chairs. There are local marinas that offer pontoon and watercraft rentals.

Mystic River Fire Pit

Imagine a spot to roast marshmallows, hotdogs and soak in the warmth of the glowing fire. Mystic River fire pit is a round stone pit, surrounded by six Adirondack chairs with 2 Adirondack rocking benches in the background. The optimal gathering spot for laughter and stories.

- "Loved it!" - "We stayed in Dayton for a basketball tournament at Fort Bluff (NACA). It was a perfect set up for two sets of grandparents, and my family (that wasn't competing and staying at camp). Utilized the great washer and dryer to clean uniforms each evening and the proximity to camp was great for quick drop off of clean uniforms. The house had a wonderful view. Sadly, it was rainy most of the time we were there, but it was still very pretty. We enjoyed meals in the huge kitchen/dining area and watched boaters come and go through the many windows. Sharon is very responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in our stay."

- "It was such a peaceful stay. The cabin had everything we needed. The mattress in the bedroom seemed to have a center hole. Hard for two people to sleep. Might be time to replace it. RockyRidgeResorts.com presents a One bedroom cabin, in the woods, with large front porch and view of the mountain woods. Knotty pine interior with a modern kitchen. Cabin has both heat and A/C and is new construction, in the old "Outback" style. Parking for fishing rig along with external lighting and charging station for tournament participants to prep and maintain their boats. Hiking trails nearby and close to many attractions. Private. Some guests have asked about a hot tub. I do not know where that information came from but, unfortunately, we do not have a hot tub on the property.

- "We enjoyed our stay. Our cabin (B) had two twin beds that were comfortable to sleep in. There was a big screen smart TV. Wi-Fi available. It was delightful to come back to each night, get some on-line work done, then relax. The cabin is very clean, and the hosts have thought of every appliance and comfort that makes for a homey experience. It was quiet and peaceful. It stormed a lot while I was there, and I stayed cozy and dry inside - no problems related to the cabin’s efficiency in bad weather. No problems of any kind, actually. The hosts were always immediately responsive when I texted them upon arrival and departure. I’d love to make this place my regular spot when I come back to the area for work!"

Delightful River House with beautiful views of the Tennessee River and Armstrong Slough. Our Kayaks are within walking distance to community boat ramp for exploring the river. Perfect little getaway.

On the main level, the kitchen and living room are open concept. There is a flat screen T.V with cable. Access to the large deck that has 3 outdoor tables and a gas grill.

The main level also has 2 bedrooms that both have queen beds and dressers. There is a bathroom in the master bedroom with a stand-up shower. The second bathroom is in the main level hallway.

The third bedroom is located downstairs with twin bunk beds. The third bathroom is also located on this level. There is also a living room with a flat screen T.V, desk, foosball table, board games, books and a few DVD’s are located on the bookshelves.

There is a one car garage that has a few outdoor games like badminton, kickball and volleyball. The town of Dayton has Tennis Courts, there are 4 rackets and tennis balls in the garage.

There is the community boat ramp remarkably close to our backyard. Our kayaks are within walking distance to the boat ramp. There are 3 single kayaks and 1 double kayak. The way our house sits on the peninsula, not much boat parking. Our neighbor down Sertoma Drive owns Undercover Storage, it is gated and secure. Manager on site is Dale at 423-304-5785. This would be a great option for boat parking.

- "Our group came to visit for a Wild Mustang Clinic in Pikesville,TN. The Rive house was a 40 min drive from Pikesville but it was perfect for us. The owner is a wonderful communicator. Plenty of room to spread out and everything was provided. The perfect touch was not left out she even added popcorn and coffee! Small but lacking nothing. A great little one bedroom, one bath cottage just three miles from Historic Downtown Dayton TN. In a great neighborhood. Out in the country but still close to town. All the amenities of home; stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, washer/dryer, sofa bed, large parking area, and a nice yard. Sleeps a family of four very comfortably. All linens and pillows provided. All dishes, pots, and pans provided. Cozy, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We love our tiny home and we are absolutely positive you will too.

Located 6 minutes from downtown Dayton, TN. This newly renovated 1500 sq. ft. cabin sits on 1 acre & is the perfect place to get away or stay for local events. The floor plan has 2 levels and a loft with 4 twin beds plus a trundle. There is a bedroom with a bath, a living area, and kitchen that opens up to the covered deck. The back door opens to a large outdoor area to enjoy the natural beauty of Tennessee. The nightly price includes up to five guests. More than five is an additional cost.
The space
Welcome to cabin living! As you enter the main door you will find a spacious living area with stairs to the main level. On the entry level you will find a full bathroom, laundry room, and an additional room with a futon and foosball table. The stairs will take you to the main level, which has a living room with a stone hearth as the centerpiece and a cathedral ceiling. As you move around the main level you will find a master bedroom with a full bath, a kitchen, and access to the covered front porch. Near the kitchen there is another flight of stairs that leads to the loft that overlooks the main living area. In the loft area you will find four twin beds plus one trundle. If you like you can access a small outdoor deck from the loft level. As you return to the main floor there is a backdoor that opens to a large outdoor patio, deck, and wooded area. The outdoor living space of the cabin is a place of retreat and amazing beauty with views of mountains.

In order to keep our cleaning fee affordable, the base price covers up to 5 guests. (Children 3 and under are excluded from the extra guest fee.) Come relax at our Lost Cabin in the woods, equipped with Pool Table, Bar and Fire Pit. Great location 5 minutes from Chickmauga Lake. This home includes 4 Bedrooms, 2 full Bathrooms, a rec room with a Pool Table and Bar, a large Kitchen with bar seating and sizeable dinning room table. The house has wireless internet, 3 flat screen tvs, a grill, a small outdoor table with chairs, and a covered firepit with gazebo. Comfortably sleeps 12-14 people not including extra couch space.

The Trinity Cottage is a historic gem in Dayton. It was built in the 1920’s as the parsonage for the Trinity Chapel next door. It’s been completely renovated and updated. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

The space
Our cottage features a large living room with a Toshiba 50-inch Smart 4K TV. It has a fully updated modern kitchen with an attached dining room and an additional sun room. The kitchen has been fully renovated and has beautiful wood cabinets and brand new appliances. It has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a gorgeous king bed with an en-suite bathroom with double vanities and a walk in shower. The primary bedroom has a 43" Samsung 4K HD Smart LED TV. The upstairs features two bedrooms each with a queen bed and a half bath. There is another full bathroom on the main floor. One bedroom upstairs features an alcove with an additional twin bed.
Guest access
There might be times when guests can't use the back patio. However the front porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee for our guests of the cottage.

You can walk to a brewery and a pizza shop from the house and there are other things in the area to do.
