I never have had any hotel, or anywhere for that matter, text me on the day of arrival to ask how our trip is going and update us on the check-in status. She then proceeded to text me daily, even giving me suggestions of things to do. Even more spectacular was when we arrived and saw our Parisian room (it was amazing), it was a bit dark (it was sticking with the Paris theme) for my husband’s PTSD (I loved it!). The listing does say there is only a microwave and fridge and the bathroom is on the ground level, and to be clear there is no running water in the upstairs. We throughly enjoyed the space and the property and its location; however, it might not suit us for a longer stay. We did enjoy having the automatic lights on the stairs to make it easier to go down to the bathroom during the night. Well priced. We will stay there again."

Our home and facilities are in a private, wooded setting on the Chestatee River. We have walking trails, gardens, benches, artwork and outdoor areas to enjoy. We have 2 outdoor fire pit areas, both easy walking distances from the cabins. We are approx. a 12-15 drive from downtown Dahlonega. We are also a 15 minute drive from the N. Ga. Premium Outlet Mall and the Dawsonville shopping centers on Ga. Hwy. 400. We have the best of both worlds - a private, natural setting with modern amenties (wi-fi, TV, cell phone reception, etc.).

Guests have access to the river to swim and fish. There are also 2 fire pits for use on the property. There is no lifeguard on-site and all activities on the property will be at the guests own risks. Blueberry Shoals LLC and your travel website hosts are not liable for any incidents in regards to the river, the fire pits or any other activities on the property. This is a tiny home that was remodeled in 2019. Very wooded area, includes 14 windows to see the wildlife. Lots of Birds, Deer and turkeys. Located next to the owners home but privacy is very important. Small deck. Located 3 miles from the town of Dahlonega which has a lot of activities. Restaurants, Music, Shopping. There are 9 wineries within 20 minutes of the house. Dahlonega is a great location for wedding and wineries.

Also if it snows or any power outage has whole house generator!!

Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible. In order to accomplish this, we ask that all guests follow the house rules and confirm that you understand them entirely. By booking this property you acknowledge and agree to follow and abide by all rules and hold host harmless for any injuries or liability resulting from not following rules.

- Quiet hours are between 10PM – 8AM.

- No smoking inside the home. An ashtray is provided on back deck where smoking is allowed.

- Please wash dishes after use as there is no dishwasher. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees will be applied.

-Do NOT place hot pans or baking trays directly on countertops or it will damage them

- Parking is provided on the one-way driveway and is suitable for up to 2 SUVs.

- Feel free to adjust the climate and lighting to your preference, but please turn off lights when not in use.

- The fridge may be used to store food, but please throw away any perishable items before the end of your stay.

- Please do not rearrange any furniture.

- No events or parties allowed on the property.

- If guests are found to have had a party, extra cleaning charges may be applied. In the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY without a refund.

- If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

- Because this is a vacation rental community, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.

HOT TUB RULES:

-Minimum age for unsupervised use of the hot tub. 14-18 yrs

-Maximum safe spa temperature is 102° or less.
-Do NOT run the heat at the highest setting
-Guests must replace spa cover and latch cover clips after use.
-Guests must add water if the level drops below the indicator on the skimmer.
-Guests must shower or bathe before use.
-No pets are allowed at any time.
-No eating, no smoking, and only drink water from plastic cups only
-Do not use the spa if pregnant or hypertensive (high blood pressure)
-Do not use the spa if under the influence of drugs or alcohol
-Do not use the spa if the water looks poor, smells bad, or is without pump running
-Notify management of any equipment failure or water problems
-Use at your own risk.

• A well-maintained gravel road leads to the treehouse. Parking is typically within 100 feet of the unit. Guests will have to walk up/down a moderately steep hill by way of a mulched path and approximately 25 steps - very manageable for most, but not ideal for those with significant mobility limitations (it's comparable to walking to a dock at many north Georgia lakes). Landscape lighting provides a safe, scenic path at night.

Robin's Nest is a stunning 4 bed, 3.5 bath Dahlonega home located just outside the city of Dahlonega and just before/on the way to many of the local wineries. This dog-friendly (pet fee applies*) property features a unique portion of Cavender Creek, where the creek splits in two and creates an island surrounded by nature.

The main floor features two oversized bedrooms, each with a king bed, that share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a walk-in shower and clawfoot tub. The main floor also features a game room in the garage (air hockey, ping pong, darts, cornhole, a putting game, and PS4) and an open living/dining area with a covered porch off the back, perfect for viewing the creek and the woods below.

Upstairs is a large master suite with a king bed and its own bathroom and balcony overlooking the creek.

The lower level features a second kitchen, poker table, and another bedroom and bathroom, as well as a patio outside.

The steps off the back of the house lead down to the creek, a perfectly quiet and private place to sit. Enjoy a campfire down by the creek, or cross onto the island and enjoy a nap in the hammock.

Outside the cottage there’s lots to enjoy on property. When you’re done taking in the Mountain View from the deck take a stroll down the hill to your very private off grid river deck. Here you’ll be able to really appreciate the beauty of the yahoola creek, while sitting on our covered deck. Solar powered lighting, Bluetooth speaker system and phone chargers keep the fun going all day or night. Your creek side natural dug fire pit is the perfect way to enjoy stargazing at night. Fishing? Tubing? Gold prospecting? You can do it all on property, and we even offer additional self service rentals in the cottage to make those experiences great.

The cottage is dog and child friendly. Your dog will love running free in the creek, and kids will love finding mom or dad that special rock or gemstone they find in the river bed, or floating on a tube in the river current. The cottage offers some basic pet supplies including a kennel, gated deck, dog bowls, and towels especially for your dog. the cottage isn’t child proofed, so kids 5 years old or older are recommended. There is a $50 pet fee and only one dog allowed.

The driveway in is an easement and gravel. It does not require a 4x4 but it can be bumpy at times especially after a storm.

The road in the neighborhood is a single lane, paved road. It can be steep at points. Guest and residents going downhill have the right of way. If you come across another car, pull over to one of the paved shoulders or the closest driveway to let them pass. You may have to back up. Please note this road is narrow. Stay on the pavement. Please remember you are in the mountains. The speed limit is 17 mph. We have a paved semi-circle driveway, that can hold roughly 6 cars. All cars must stay on the paved driveway. No street parking is allowed, as this is a single lane road neighborhood. The HOA will tow street parked cars at the owners expense. Please keep all cars in the driveway and off pebbles in the yard.

No animals allowed. If an animal is discovered your reservation will be canceled with no refunds.

Being a true log cabin, you may experience some creaking during your stay. This is completely normal as the temperatures inside/outside cause the logs to expand and contract.

The Pine Cabin is small and cozy. It's rustic enough to make you feel like you are going back in time and in the heart of wine country!
Sorry, the fireplace does not work! We have a propane heater in the bedroom to keep you warm.
Full bath with towels and washcloths. The kitchen is small but is efficient enough to fix your meals with a hot plate with pans, a coffee pot with filters, a microwave, a toaster oven, and a mini fridge.

The space
My home is a ranch style single family structure situated on a mostly wooded lot and located on a quiet low traveled street. Your bedroom is furnished with a new queen size semi-firm mattress. Other furnishings are a night stand, luggage stand, small desk and chair, mini-refrigerator, ceiling fan and nice size closet with small dresser drawers inside the closet. Soft light gray walls and new carpet on the floor. The bathroom is small but a full bath with tub/shower, toilet and vanity.

You will park right in front of the house and go up 6 steps to the front porch which has 2 wicker chairs, a table and a love type seat for your use. Enter through the front door and walk a few short steps to the bedroom hallway to the left and your bedroom is the first door to the left with the bathroom directly across the hall. There is a privacy screen from the entrance to the hallway to delineate the owners living room space. Other parts of the home are for the owners personal use.

During your stay
I work generally M-F but will be accessible if I'm not on the premises as needed once you check in and for the duration of your stay via the Airbnb app. If I am home when you check in I will greet you however any further interaction will be up to you. I will offer any help with things to do or see if you request such aid.

Other things to note
The driveway is well lit with walk lights and there is a LED security light that is motion activated as you approach the house. The porch lights are also motion activated and stay on for 45 seconds after you pass them.

Welcome to Dahlonega! In this spacious walk-out basement apartment, you'll find everything you need to rest and unwind after a fun day of exploring our beautiful mountain town.

The basement apartment is part of our family home, with its own exterior entrance allowing guests privacy to come and go as they wish.

It is comprised of a single bedroom with a full, private bathroom (accessed through the bedroom), walk-in closet, sitting room, and rec room.

The basement apartment is part of our family home which is located within a mature neighborhood approximately 12 minutes from downtown Dahlonega.

Our family--four humans, two dogs--live upstairs with the walk-out basement being completely separate and exclusively reserved for guests.

1.) We are currently working on providing a separate driveway for guests along the side of our house; in the meantime, guests will be provided their own parking space at the top of our driveway and will need to walk across the front of the house (careful-- it's a sloped front yard) to access the basement apartment which is located to the right side.

2.) The basement apartment is part of our family home. While our family does our best in respect of our guests' privacy and desire for peace & quiet, we also appreciate guests' understanding if they happen to hear puppy footsteps coming from above on occasion.

We offer a Queen size bed for your to rest on when the evening comes. There is a fridge with freezer, microwave, and two burner stoves if you choose to cook on. There is a shower in and out side the property. There is also a Keurig for you to make hot or cold ice coffee of your choosing. There is hot water inside the RV as well as central heat. There are instructions inside the RV for your convenience.

Welcome to our tiny house located on five wooded acres in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Our tiny house includes a single queen bed, with kitchen, bathroom and all the amenities you'd expect at home. Large windows offer wonderful views of the surrounding woods and fill the home with light. The property includes picnic table, fire pit, and walking trails plus tons of recreation and activities nearby. Located less than 15 minutes from downtown Dahlonega.

The space
We love the outdoors and all the recreation that North Georgia has to offer. Our property is in a great location to enjoy the outdoors while being close enough to get to other places if you like to explore. The tiny house is a great home base to explore from whether your looking to hike, bike, fish, raft, tour a winery or check out the town of Dahlonega (see below for more specifics). To encourage being outside and socializing the space has no TV.

Hosts come and go but will usually be onsite. Guests will have access to all the spaces, and have private use of the tiny house. We will be around various areas of the property doing trail maintenance, small outdoor projects and enjoying the property ourselves. We welcome interactions with guests but will respect your privacy.

Guest access
Guest will have access to enjoy the entire property (excluding RV, sheds and storage buildings). It is heavily wooded which creates great privacy in the summer and a real sense of being 'away from it all'. We are usually staying in the Airstream further up the driveway, working outside or relaxing in the host cabin up the hill.

Other things to note
Rainy weather is common in the area and may impact your enjoyment of all the outdoor amenities we offer. Please plan accordingly and consider indoor activities if inclement weather.

The Bunkhouse at Grassy Gap Farm is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Take a short hike from the cabin through the National Forest on an old forest service road to view the Falls at Walden Creek or enjoy an evening glass of wine or S’mores by the fire pit (firewood provided).

Close access to hiking, biking, wineries, wedding venues and only 15 minutes to historic downtown Dahlonega.

The space
The main living room in the cabin features a queen sized bed. This area also contains a seating area with Roku TV and wood stove, a dining area (seating for 6) and a desk/work area. The futon also folds out into a full size bed to provide an additional sleeping option. The separate bedroom (bunkroom) features twin bunk beds.

Preparing meals is easy in our full kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker (Keurig) and microwave. We also have an outdoor gas grill, covered porch, and fire pit (firewood provided!) with multiple seating options.

Guests will also have access to 7+ acres of the property. Walden Creek runs through a portion of the property and there is also a small pond with multiple areas to sit and enjoy the surrounding nature or set up a hammock.

We are a short walk away from the National Forest and a less than 2 mile hike to High Shoals Falls on Walden Creek (aka Walden Creek Falls). Additionally, we are less than 2 miles from the main route of the annual Six Gap Century bike race and in close proximity to multiple wineries, wedding venues, hiking and biking locations, and trout fishing streams.

Other things to note
The entire neighborhood is surrounded by National Forest and is located on a dead end road. Due to the location, it is not uncommon to lose electricity during winter storms and times of heavy rain, thunderstorms, or high winds. In case of power outage, the well pump runs on a generator, so you will still have access to running water. We also include an electric lantern and flashlights, and during the winter the cabin can be heated with the wood stove.

The owners live full time at the main house on the property, which is situated 40-50 yards behind the bunk house further up the hill. There is also a friendly dog (Luna) and multiple chickens, who sometimes free range. We give our guests privacy, but are also available to answer questions or provide tips/directions for any local activities or attractions.

This cozy Grindle Bridge cabin is a mile from the Chestatee River and is smack in the middle of north Georgia’s wine country. You are strategically located between the Dahlonega square and Cleveland which is the gateway to Helen and Vogel state park, as well as the Chestatee River and Tallulah Gorge. Enjoy hiking, tubing, or a leisurely stroll shopping and sight-seeing in downtown Dahlonega. Once your adventurous day is complete, you can relax at night next to a warm fire with a glass of north Georgia's best.
