There is 1 king bed on the main floor, a sleeper sofa in the living room and

in the loft are 2 double beds. The loft has a half bathroom. On the main floor

is a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo, plus, a full size washer and

dryer.

The fully stocked kitchen, with all the pots, pans, dishes, and more, is ready

for you to cook up delicious meals. Take your meal onto the screened in deck

to eat while enjoying the lush wooded scenery and listening to the peaceful

nature sounds. Relax on the front porch in one of the 8 rocking chairs. On

those chilly nights, making s'mores by the fire pit is a kid's favorite.

You have access to the beautiful pavilion with lights and electrical outlets

on the property. Perfect for a picnic in an open setting, a family reunion

while reminiscing the great times, or having a country wedding while making

new beginnings. This pavilion is shared with the other cabin on the property

(The Great Escape that sleeps up to 12 people), not visible to the 2 cabins,

and has its own bathroom. Please contact the office if you wish to reserve the

pavilion for a particular date while you stay at one of the cabins on the

property. There is a small additional fee if reserving for a wedding.

Stained glass was custom made and framed. Floors, walls, ceiling and trim work were all meticulously hand sanded in this six month labor of Love. What once started out as a playhouse for my granddaughters has morphed into this.

The space
This is a small cabin with kitchenette with all of the basic essentials to have meals at home. All linens are provided. There is a queen bed that sleeps two, a pullout couch that could sleep two children or two small adults, a small table and chairs, and a full bathroom with tub. We really want our guests to relax and enjoy the outdoors on the deck with table and chairs, and a new firepit down by the river. Dogs are allowed for a $50 fee each. No smoking in the cabin.

Welcome to Tellico Plains! Tucked away on the side of Bullet Mountain, you will find our log cabin which was custom built in 2015 and situated on 10 wooded acres. This cabin served as our primary residence until 2020, when we bought additional property and made the difficult decision to leave our beloved cabin on the mountain. The Tellico Plains Inn, originally established in 1916, is in the heart of Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway. The Inn was rehabbed in 2023 with modern flare but staying true to the character of a 100+ year old Inn. It is within walking distance to the local shops and minutes away from the Cherokee National Forest (Bald River Falls, Indian Boundary, trout fishing, hiking, kayaking). The Byrum Room has a king bed, console/desk with stools, mini fridge, 55" smart TV, and the room also has its own ductless heating and cooling unit. The luxurious ensuite, full bathroom boasts a tub/shower combination with glass doors and tile walls.

If you need additional rooms for your entire party, friends, and family please be sure to ask about availability. AND, the Inn also has a 650 Sq Ft Event Room lit with 3 stylish chandeliers that can be rented out separately, great for weddings, bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, or any enthusiast group gathering! We hope you will enjoy the modern flare and updates to this 100+ year old Inn. We tried to salvage its character, keeping the original rustic wood floors, wainscoting, and dental trim. Be sure to take some time to relax on the porch in the rocking chairs or in the lobby and view some historic photos of the Inn and Tellico Plains.

Guests have access to the lobby, coffee station, porches, and the entire grounds of the Inn. We offer guests a shared office space on the second floor on a first come first serve basis. The office space has two dedicated workspaces which include desks, chairs, printer/scanner/copier, etc. If you know you will want to use the office space during your stay, it is best to inform the host in advance of your stay.

Centrally located in town and ample parking on our concrete lot and at side of Inn. Guests can literally walk the sidewalks to Tellico Grains Bakery, Trout Mountain Coffee, and several local shops. The Tellico Plains Inn is the center piece of the town.

Completely unplug after touring the Cherohala Skyway or hiking at the falls in our private rustic cabin on the water just two minutes off the world-famous Cherohala Skyway on Tellico River. This queen bed one-room cabin with a full bathroom has all of the essentials you need for a quiet couples getaway or small family trip. Enjoy the scenic views of the river on the deck overlooking the water, or walk down to the river to relax by the firepit and build a fire.

The space
This is a small cabin with kitchenette with all of the basic essentials to have meals at home. All linens are provided. There is a queen bed that sleeps two, a pullout couch that could sleep two children or two small adults, a small table and chairs, and a full bathroom with tub. We really want our guests to relax and enjoy the outdoors on the deck with table and chairs, and a new firepit down by the river. Dogs are allowed for a $50 fee each. No smoking in the cabin.

There is private parking at the home. It is located just off Rafter Road, which is a rural road across the bridge from the Skyway.

If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Cozy little cottage nestled in the corner of a u-pick blueberry farm adjacent to the Cherokee National Forest. The perfect place to recharge after a day of exploring the area. The cottage offers a kitchenette, 1 full size bed and a futon, 1 bathroom, wifi and TV with Roku.

Guests are free to explore the farm (excluding private residences), let your dogs play in the creek or wander around. Please just remember we are adjacent to a forest and wandering dogs can sometimes go farther than expected, so please don't leave them unsupervised. We do recommend keeping them on leashes.

Other things to note
We don't allow any pets other than dogs for the safety and security of those pets. While we do love dogs, we ask you have your pups fully vetted and properly notate on the reservation that your fur babies will be joining you during your visit. We also recommend you keep your pups on leashes or under close supervision when outside to ensure their safety.

This property is not designed for families and not safe or suitable for children under the age of 12. Older children are welcome and each count as separate guest. This property will only comfortably accommodate two guests.

The property is adjacent to the Cherokee National Forest. The closest town is Tellico Plains and is approximately a 20 minute drive. Etowah and Madisonville are each approximately 35-40 minutes away. Please plan accordingly.

The kitchenette includes a mini-refridgerator, Kureig, counter top ice maker, microwave and toaster oven. No other cooking facilities are available or permitted.

The host's residence is located directly behind the Cottage, adjoined by a 14' wide deck.

Across the Street from the Tellico River, listen to the sound of this majestic river year round. This is next door to Cherokee National Forest. Trout Fishing, White Water Kayaking and Canoeing usually in the Fall Winter and Spring with rain. Beautiful River Road or Take an over the Mountain ride up Cherohala Skyway.

This is next door to Cherokee National Forest, and unmarked Trail of Tears. walk 15 feet East South East. Trout Fishing, White Water Kayaking and Canoeing usually in the Fall Winter and Spring with rain. Beautiful River Road and along the way see the Great Bald River Falls, Tellico Trout Hatchery with many pull outs along the way. or take an over the Mountain ride up Cherohala Skyway with beautiful vistas.
Hiking, There is a hiking trail a bit more strenuous along Bald River next to the falls and for something easier, there is an area called Indian Boundary Lake and an easy hike around, park for free at the boat launch area. You can use the Beach but there is a small parking fee to support the NFS.
Want to get out a little further, find Coker Creek Falls or the John Muir trail on the Hiwassee River.

There is a two bedroom next door that is rented full time. Please park in front of your house off the shared driveway. You can turn around past the house and park facing out the driveway.

If you have a trailer it is best to drive past the home, go to the "Beach Drive-In" and turn around there. Go back to the driveway and back your trailer up the drive way. Pay attention to oncoming traffic! Especially motorcycles. There is more information on Trailers that you will get when you book.

Starr Mountain Camp RV is on a private and quiet site surrounded by nature. It has an all-season, beautiful view of Starr Mountain and full hook up water, electric, septic and Wi-fi service. A short walk on the property are Powdermill Branch Creek and Consauga Creek. Enjoy a cup of coffee listening to the birds, lounging by the shaded creek in the hammock and you may spot a deer or other wildlife. It’s a magnificent spot for stargazing and a perfect spot for rest and relaxation by campfire.

Since we are located in the mountains, there is no cell service with the exception of AT&T at times but once you get connected to the WiFi, most phones nowadays offer WiFi calling. You’ll need to look up directions on how to set up your specific phone. There is a house phone for emergencies.

Our water source here is from a well on the property and cannot guarantee its quality/safety for drinking purposes. However, I would say the same thing if it was city water. I always recommend drinking filtered water. We plan on adding a R/O filter system in the future.

Gnome Hunt: our property seems to be a gathering place for these little guys. You may notice quite a few of them... although they can hide pretty well. Fortunately, if you can get close enough before they’re able to hide, they freeze and are unable to move while human eyes are upon them. In the near future, if our guests can spot them all and give us an accurate count, they will win a prize. We’re not currently at this prize stage yet but it’s still fun to try and spot em’ all.

We know that there might be concerns about cleanliness so we want you to know that we go above and beyond normal cleaning practices here. Besides the normal cleaning you’d find at most rentals, we also wash ALL linens after every guests, every time.

We have a relatively low cleaning fee (especially for what we do) and in order for us to keep it that low we ask that guests leave our cabin as they found it, clean. Thank you.

Private suite in a large log house in the National Forest. Coker Creek murmurs a hushing lullaby just outside the windows, located on 50 acres of lushly private, mostly wooded beauty with many walking trails. We prefer meadow to lawn, and wild and woody to manicured. Fresh smells, wildflowers, birds. Very healthy, very green: latex mattress, organic cotton sheets. Natural cleaners.

The space
This land has been used for Spiritual and Yoga workshops. We are in love with the natural beauty and harmony and live as well as possible in accord with and to enhance-appreciate-enjoy, rather than control, what is already here. Trails to walk, porch swing and rocking chairs for resting. Bird calls and the murmuring creek for musical accompaniment. Firefly dance and sparkle for summertime night-life! Plus Whippoorwill often sings at night in the Spring.

1 covered and 1 un-covered deck, laundry room, and breakfast room. Most trails are available to guests. The space around our house, a separate structure 100 yards down the driveway, is private to us. There is very limited cell phone service if you happen to have ATT, but there is pretty good wifi and a land-line phone. Wifi available via Starlink, which can be affected by weather.

Other things to note
This is a very natural area. Some grass and flower beds, but mostly the land revels in its natural beauty. Lots and lots of mature trees, native plants, ferns. The house is fabulous: safe, secure, comfortable and shining with beauty. If you are the person who steps outside hoping to see animals, insects, birds and their nests, then you should come. You also probably know that there are potentially snakes, even poisonous ones, in the area. Some insects sting. So do some plants. Hopefully this increases your appreciation of the Natural World rather than makes you fearful.

Atali Lodge at Created Country is in the Cherokee Nat Forest, 10 min from Tellico Plains and Cherohala Skyway. Enjoy 17 acres with 1.25 miles of ever expanding walking trails next to a creek and brooks. Relax on 1 of 4 porches or in the spa that is covered and screened in. Gnome Hunt: our property seems to be a gathering place for these little guys. You may notice quite a few of them... although they can hide pretty well. Fortunately, if you can get close enough before they’re able to hide, they freeze and are unable to move while human eyes are upon them. In the near future, if our guests can spot them all and give us an accurate count, they will win a prize. We’re not currently at this prize stage yet but it’s still fun to try and spot em’ all.

CLEANING FEES:

$200 fee for evidence of smoking in the cabin.

$20 fee for unwashed dishes.

$50 extra cleaning fee for excessive messiness. Please leave the cabin as you found it.

$200 extra cleaning fee if there is evidence of a pet. We have a no pet policy, which includes service/ support animals due to medical conditions.


We know that there might be concerns about cleanliness so we want you to know that we go above and beyond normal cleaning practices here. Besides the normal cleaning you’d find at most rentals, we also wash ALL linens after every guests, every time. We regularly drain and clean the spa as well.

We have a relatively low cleaning fee (especially for what we do) and in order for us to keep it that low we ask that guests leave our cabin as they found it, clean. Thank you.

Tellico Plns, TN lies at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains. It’s the gateway to the Cherohola Skyway and Cherokee Nat’l Forest. Home to world class trout fishing and an abundance of hiking and bike trails, waterfalls and 3 nearby rivers offering whitewater rafting, kayaking and tubing.
We are located only 5 min from the Cherohola Skyway and the historic town of Tellico Plns. Our house sits on a mountain with an incredible view of town below and mountains in front of you.

The space
There are two bedrooms downstairs and your nightly base rate of $99 is for bedroom #1 and rate increases to $145 nightly if bedroom #2 is added to your stay. Number of guests per room is 2. Bedroom 2 will be locked off if not included in your stay. You’ll enter the guest area from the bottom deck with keyless entry. Both rooms have new queen size pillow top beds.
A rollaway bed is available for a 3rd guest staying in room #1 for $10 per night. But is included in the nightly rate of $145 if both rooms are rented.
Room #1 also includes a reclining chair and a 45” smart TV with internet. Bedroom #2 has a new queen size bed. Just outside bedroom 1 and 2 is a shared space with others in your party only that includes a kitchenette, coffee bar, full bathroom. In the kitchenette space is a microwave, ice bucket, small refrigerator, Kurig coffee maker, coffee cups and k-cups and eating utensils. Wine glasses, other dinnerware and glassware, toaster and blender and tub for dirty dishes are in the closet across from kitchenette.
Downstairs is closed off from owners living space giving our guests privacy during their stay.
Upon request we provide ice for the ice bucket or a cooler to take on adventures.
Upon request, the garage is has a freezer for anything a guest needs to keep frozen.

Guest access
With a keyless entry to your area you will have complete privacy and can come and go as you please. You will have access to the upper and lower decks. There is plenty of seating to watch the many birds we have and take in the magnificent view and some of the most amazing sunsets.

During your stay
We enjoy meeting our guests. Guests are welcomed to the upper deck via outside stairs. But we also happily respect the privacy of our guests.

Other things to note
**Please note! There is NO smoking in the house. However, it is permitted on the deck with the door closed and use of an ashtray that is provided.
Downstairs is newly remodeled.
We also respectfully ask that all shoes come off at the door and clean socks be worn on the carpet.
In addressing the current situation with CoVid 19. We have had our shots and are making sure everything is as sanitary as possible for our guests. All sheets and bedding a washed in very hot water.
We provide hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for your convenience.

This listing is for Fox Hollow, which has 2 single beds downstairs and 3 single beds in the upper loft area. You are required to climb a ladder to reach the loft area.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire Fox Hollow cabin and the community bath/shower houses, firepit, and bbq grill. Wood for the firepit can be purchased at the nearby Savealot.

The Ole Bear cabin is a fully furnished 2 br/1 ba surrounded by the beautiful Cherokee National Forest and overlooking historic Coker Creek. This rustic mountain cabin is nestled in the SE corner of TN between GA and NC with a backyard filled with hundreds of miles of recreation. The Ole Bear is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or an adventure filled weekend.

The space
Have some relaxation time at the Ole Bear cabin with a morning cup of coffee in a rocking chair on the private wrap-around porch while taking in views of the Unicoi Mountains and listening to the calming sounds of water flowing in historic Coker Creek or perhaps enjoy the song of the Whip-poor-will while having a romantic candlelit dinner at the outdoor dining area overlooking the firepit.

Why vacation in someone's part-time home when you can stay in your very own mountain retreat? The Ole Bear cabin was designed and furnished with you in mind. As a guest you have private access to the entire cabin and property including control of the heating & cooling system, a gas fireplace, WiFi, two Roku TVs, gas and propane grills, an adjoining picnic area, a firepit with stocked firewood and walking trails to a creek overlook.

Other things to note
- The second bedroom suite area is accessed by ascending an enclosed spiral staircase, which can be blocked by closing a door at the base of the stairwell.

- WiFi internet access is available, but cell service is very sporadic in the mountains. There is no cellular or landline phone service at the cabin, but most cell phones can call/text over WiFi.

- Live television channels are available through YouTubeTV (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN & other popular cable networks).

- Check-in is AFTER 3:00pm and check-out is BEFORE 10:00am.

This economy pet friendly cabin is just across the street from Tellico River, with full size bathroom, kitchenette and 1 queen and 1 full size beds. All linens, towels, dishes and cookware are provided. Cabin 4 is just a minute or two from downtown Tellico Plains and Cherokee National Forrest so bring the family and the pet for a weekend retreat.
