In the evening, the creek has beautiful low voltage lighting throughout the property. Nearby there are hundreds of hiking trails including four incredible waterfall hikes and Bald River which is the most spectacular river to kayak, fish, or swim.

Cyclists can bike right from the property straight to the Cherahala Skyway and also the beautiful River Road. Motorcyclists love staying here as well because of the easy access to the Skyway and easy gravel road to the cabin.

If you enjoy seclusion, are a nature lover, and like the peacefulness of creek side accommodations, this is the place for you. You won't find a more cozy, private cabin RIGHT ON the rushing creek. This cabin served as our primary residence until 2020, when we bought additional property and made the difficult decision to leave our beloved cabin on the mountain. Compass Cabin is a custom 1000 sq. foot cabin nestled in the trees on 2 acres in the mountains of the Cherokee National Forest. This cabin provides peace and tranquility and yet still close to Tellico Plains and the Cherohala Skyway, the Tellico River, Bald River Falls and all the area has to offer!

The interior is bright and decorated in a modern/rustic design that still has many wooden overtones.

Loose Moose is one of our most private studios surrounded by the Cherokee

National Forest.

Just minutes from the famous Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon at Deals

Gap famous touring loop. Also located near the Ocoee River scenic loop. The

Tellico Plains and Coker Creek area has hundreds of miles of hiking,

backpacking, fishing, white water rafting, mountain biking, and motorcycles

trails and roads.

Plenty of ways to melt the stress starting with a hot tub and followed up with

snuggling up in an afghan on the leather sofa for a private showing of your

favorite movie. There is no noise here other than the birds for company. Warm

yourself by the stack stone fireplace on chilly mountain evenings or use the

fire pit outside to enjoy the mountain views and forest noises. Cabin includes

a heavenly king size bed, full size kitchen, outside charcoal grill, washer,

dryer, and full bath.

Traveling with friends or family? Loose Moose sister cabin, Crazy Bear, is

located on the same 5 acre property for rent as well. Pull out the sleep sofa

for additional sleeping arrangement.. Motorcycle enthusiasts can park up to 4

motorcycles under the leanto with a level easy access to park and turn

trailers. We discourage any type of work here but feel free to hook up to the

This modern log cabin is a large studio with all of the 'bells and whistles' !!! There is a very important looking king size bed, gorgeous mountain decor, fold out sofa, Adirondack chairs for the porch and old-fashioned porch swing. Full kitchen, one bath, 65" Smart TV with Fast WiFi. Tucked into the woods with a BIG hot tub, this is perfect place to celebrate or honeymoon. Come with friends. Or be selfish and bring her just to be together. Well, you could bring the pup too.

This cabin provides peace and tranquility, magical deck with large hot tub and cozy swing and yet still close to Tellico Plains and the Cherohala Skyway, the Tellico River, Bald River Falls and all the area has to offer!

- "The bed was very comfortable. We slept extremely well. The decor was cute and modern. The fireplace and hot tub add to the coziness. Would definitely stay here again. " - "The property is beautiful and in excellent condition. The issue is with the owners. There was a local power outage shortly after we checked in, we were informed the power would be off until midnight. We requested a full refund as we would not be able to enjoy the property without power. We were told to just deal with it and likely no refund would be given. The property manager said it "wasn't his problem ". So, if you book here, be aware of random power outages that can last many hours and you wont be reimbursed. I strongly recommend you find somewhere else to stay!"

This is a spectacular spot to vacation! They say if your lucky enough to live in the mountains...you're lucky enough and that is so true. My very hardworking, sweet and generous dad left me this property and I am truly the luckiest girl in the world. He wanted me to share this incredible view and cabin with as many people as possible. It is located on Tellico Plains/Coker Creek. If you take a short walk down the scenic trail you will see his manicured waterfront creek area with firepit. You may want to bring your atv's and ride the property or ride Joe Brown Highway trails located just behind the cabin. We are just starting to rent so I will update pictures as soon as possible. Traveling with family or friends? There is another 3 bedroom lodge just 300 feet away on the same property with a hot tub. With both homes, this lodge compound sleeps a total of 22 people! Just the main log cabin lodge sleeps 12. The second lodge sleeps 10 if you want to rent them separate. Both have two full bathrooms.

Riverside Premium Cabin is a crowd-pleaser on the Tellico River. This beautiful 3-bedroom, 3 and half-bath log cabin can sleep up to 10 people. Large cabin with a massive 25-foot ceiling. on the Tellico River. Directly on the river with spectacular views of cascading rapids and a 300-foot rock face in the background. Enormous private deck that hangs out over the river adds to those views of the Tellico River. Located In the mountains but 2 miles from the small historical town of Tellico Plains and very easy to find. There is cell service also! It is on the Cherohala Skyway so perfect for Motorcyclists and Fisherman.

- "Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting in a quaint town. We did low-key activities (waterfall visit, scenery on drive to N. Carolina across the Cherohala Skyway, trip to the honey store, museums, etc) and just enjoyed being together, cooking our meals, and catching up. The cabin is just as pictured and very nice and clean. Our only small issue (pilot light went out on gas logs) was addressed quickly. Our two group movie nights wouldn’t have happened if we’d been in our homes so this was even more special as a group getaway, from GA & KY. We all loved it!"

Completely unplug after touring the Cherohala Skyway or hiking at the falls in our private rustic cabin on the water just two minutes off the world-famous Cherohala Skyway on Tellico River. This queen bed one-room cabin with a full bathroom has all of the essentials you need for a quiet couples getaway or small family trip. Enjoy the scenic views of the river on the deck overlooking the water, or walk down to the river to relax by the firepit and build a fire.

The space
This is a small cabin with kitchenette with all of the basic essentials to have meals at home. All linens are provided. There is a queen bed that sleeps two, a pullout couch that could sleep two children or two small adults, a small table and chairs, and a full bathroom with tub. We really want our guests to relax and enjoy the outdoors on the deck with table and chairs, and a new firepit down by the river. Dogs are allowed for a $50 fee each. No smoking in the cabin.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

A Popular Mountain Road that’s traveled by many heading to the Famous Cherohala Skyway. The Side facing Covered Patio that’s marked in photos may be shared with other guests. This space has an oversized table with seating for 6, Additional Rocking Chairs, and plenty of Entertaining Space. Wahuhi Holler at Created Country is 10 min from Tellico Plains, the river and Cherohala Skyway. Enjoy 17 acres with 1.25 miles of ever expanding trails next to a creek and brooks. Keep an eye out for those pesky gnomes. Relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch or grilling out on the back. Sit by the fire pit and you might just hear a screech or barred owl in the distance.

There is a wood burning fireplace in the living area with bundles of wood and fire starters available to purchase on site (depending on availability).

We have a fully equipped kitchen and grill outside. Feel free to bring groceries and charcoal for the grill.

We have free WiFi with subscriptions for Hulu Live, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and Amazon Music set up for your entertainment. A TV in the living room as well as both bedrooms which are all smart TVs so you can login into any additional streaming accounts you may have.

Since we are located in the mountains, there is no cell service with the exception of AT&T at times but once you get connected to the WiFi, most phones nowadays offer WiFi calling. You’ll need to look up directions on how to set up your specific phone. There is a house phone for emergencies.

Our water source here is from a well on the property and cannot guarantee its quality/safety for drinking purposes. However, I would say the same thing if it was city water. I always recommend drinking filtered water. We plan on adding a R/O filter system in the future.

Tellico Plns, TN lies at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains. It’s the gateway to the Cherohola Skyway and Cherokee Nat’l Forest. Home to world class trout fishing and an abundance of hiking and bike trails, waterfalls and 3 nearby rivers offering whitewater rafting, kayaking and tubing.
We are located only 5 min from the Cherohola Skyway and the historic town of Tellico Plns. Our house sits on a mountain with an incredible view of town below and mountains in front of you.

The space
There are two bedrooms downstairs and your nightly base rate of $99 is for bedroom #1 and rate increases to $145 nightly if bedroom #2 is added to your stay. Number of guests per room is 2. Bedroom 2 will be locked off if not included in your stay. You’ll enter the guest area from the bottom deck with keyless entry. Both rooms have new queen size pillow top beds.
A rollaway bed is available for a 3rd guest staying in room #1 for $10 per night. But is included in the nightly rate of $145 if both rooms are rented.
Room #1 also includes a reclining chair and a 45” smart TV with internet. Bedroom #2 has a new queen size bed. Just outside bedroom 1 and 2 is a shared space with others in your party only that includes a kitchenette, coffee bar, full bathroom. In the kitchenette space is a microwave, ice bucket, small refrigerator, Kurig coffee maker, coffee cups and k-cups and eating utensils. Wine glasses, other dinnerware and glassware, toaster and blender and tub for dirty dishes are in the closet across from kitchenette.
Downstairs is closed off from owners living space giving our guests privacy during their stay.
Upon request we provide ice for the ice bucket or a cooler to take on adventures.
Upon request, the garage is has a freezer for anything a guest needs to keep frozen.

Guest access
With a keyless entry to your area you will have complete privacy and can come and go as you please. You will have access to the upper and lower decks. There is plenty of seating to watch the many birds we have and take in the magnificent view and some of the most amazing sunsets.

During your stay
We enjoy meeting our guests. Guests are welcomed to the upper deck via outside stairs. But we also happily respect the privacy of our guests.

**Please note! There is NO smoking in the house. However, it is permitted on the deck with the door closed and use of an ashtray that is provided.

We also respectfully ask that all shoes come off at the door and clean socks be worn on the carpet.

Tucked away in a wooded cove, this private studio Cabin has all the decor you would expect from us. It is near the other studios, so bring a group! Slip under the covers of the huge King size bed and sleep in as long as you want. Even if you are not a fisherman, you will love this for a getaway. Pets are welcome.

The space
Angler cabin is the 4th of our 4 neighboring cabins, the Cowboy, Deer and the Bear, well known as Tellico Cabins. They are located in private, gated community. Our cabins are all matching 800 sq feet modern studios with various themes. They all have Hot-Tubs, porches, BBQ grilles. All are pet friendly and we do have a “Dog Heaven” here.

Tellico Plains is a vintage mountain town in East Tennessee, at the gateway to the Cherohala Skyway and the Cherokee National Forest. Here in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, a simpler pace of life prevails, where friends rendezvous at the bakery; local artisans sell their fine arts, crafts, and furnishings; and the local "Cookie Caper" fundraiser is a favorite annual Christmas event.

Our little slice of heaven is located on Coker Creek in the Cherokee Nat'l Forest. This beautiful place is perfect for everyone that is wanting to unwind and take in nature and it's tranquility. Our roads are amazing for riding your motorcycle or car trips to our many attractions. We are in the Cherokee Nat'l Forest, with lots of area hiking trails. Or pan for gold in Coker Creek. We now have a New Restaurant on our property!! "The Blue Line Grill" serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The space
Our rustic log cabin is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. There is now a 43” Smart Tv in the cabin, a newly renovated full equipped kitchen and a beautiful creek right behind the cabin. We also have free wi-fi. Perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city!

The space
This small cabin is a great place to get away and relax. It is located on a small warm water lake that's great for fishing! The water warmth and seasonal algae don't make for good swimming, but the Tellico River is just a few miles away for that cool mountain dip.

Our East TN shorelines can be mucky, so we recommend guests pack a closed-toe water shoe. They are nice to have when you are putting kayaks in and out of the water.

Our custom log cabin was built in 2015 and is situated on 10 wooded acres. This was our primary residence until we bought the farm across the road and made the difficult decision to leave our mountain home. Now, we want to share this experience with you, and hope you enjoy your time at the cabin as much as we did! Motorcycle friendly!

The space
This is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath custom built log cabin. The downstairs master features a king sized bed and ensuite full bath. The second bedroom is an upstairs open loft, with a queen sized bed, half bath and laundry. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the porches or the upstairs balcony! Then head on over to the River on our farmland across the road to take a swim or wet a line!

Guest access
The entire cabin is yours to enjoy! Note there is a separate shop that will not be available to guests. However, for guests bringing motorcycles, in the unfortunate event you have trouble with your bike, contact us and we can make the shop available and help fix any issue that may have occurred.

CABIN IN THE PINES….A Real log cabin, with modern amenities, nestled in the middle of tall pines and hardwoods. Enjoy the mountain air from the deck or the hot tub.
Our cabin is located in Tellico Plains, TN at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and the gateway to the Cherohala Skyway and the Cherokee National Forest. Tellico is home to world-class trout fishing, an abundance of hiking trails and waterfalls, as well as 3 rivers close offering whitewater rafting, kayaking, and tubing.

The space
Situated on a beautiful mountainside, our rustic log cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, with the possibility of adding 2 more people if needed. Cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a full-sized futon, and 2 bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
Kitchen amenities include a full-sized stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. All necessary silverware, cookware, and drinkware are provided. To start the day out right, there is a Keurig machine ready to brew your coffee, hot tea, or hot chocolate!
There is a Smart TV with high speed internet/Wi-Fi. The outside deck beckons visitors to relax in the hot tub while enjoying incredible views of both day and nighttime skies.
IMPORTANT: NO PETS. We love animals too but they can cause allergens for other guests.

Our private street is in a quiet neighborhood with only a handful of cabins and residents who live here year-round. The main road leading to our private street is paved. However, our private road is gravel and steep and can be bumpy at times depending on the season. It is not an issue for cars and trucks.

Other things to note
Because of the steep, gravel road, motorcycles and vehicles pulling trailers should contact us first before booking. The road may not be difficult to an experienced rider, while others may find it challenging. We ride both dirt bikes and street motorcycles and do not have an issue; however, the gravel road may be intimating to some.

Come and enjoy our family's "Get Away" cabin while exploring the local activities which includes walking trails, hiking, fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, tubing, etc all within a short drive. This cabin offers many updated features while providing that "in the woods" adventure feeling.

Nestled in the foothills of the Cherokee National forest, is our spacious 1600 sq. ft. log cabin. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths that can sleep up to 8 guests.

The space
Both bathrooms are recently renovated and a vaulted great room includes a wood burning fireplace (wood provided).

Enjoy the covered wrap around porch for outside dining with string lighting and a Weber gas grill for creating a home cooked meal. If you just want to hang out, the porch also has covered seating with rocking chairs and a hammock which is my favorite for an afternoon nap. Then when the day is done, enjoy a campfire just steps away with seating and all the smores fixings provided.

High speed internet is provided and connected to a 52" TV in the great room with leather sectional couch. The kitchen is well equipped with a large bar area for great conversations while snacking.

You will have access to the full cabin with no other guest or renters on site. The cabin sits on three acres with a large yard for playing games such as badmitton, corn hole, frizbee and kick ball. Also on property is a private walking trail for an easy stroll just minutes away.

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway for 2 on the banks of the Tellico River. This cabin is fully stocked with a private back porch. Whether you're passing through or looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, Bearadise is your cabin. With a great location, just minutes from downtown, Cherohala Skyway and Cherokee National Forrest.

This cabin has an open floor plan with kitchen, bed, living room space and dining table. Bathroom is separate with door. This cabin sets between 2 other small cabins, and the Tellico River is right out the back door.

We have a private pond guests have access too and guests also have access to the river at the Riverfront Lodge or anywhere our cabins are on the river. Just please be respectful of other guests.

We offer a towel exchange. When your towels are dirty just bring them into our office and we will exchange them for clean ones. Our office is open daily from 10:00-4:00.

Loose Moose is one of our most private studios surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest.

Just minutes from the famous Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap famous touring loop. Also located near the Ocoee River scenic loop. The Tellico Plains and Coker Creek area has hundreds of miles of hiking, backpacking, fishing, white water rafting, mountain biking, and motorcycles trails and roads.

The space
Plenty of ways to melt the stress starting with a hot tub and followed up with snuggling up in an afghan on the leather sofa for a private showing of your favorite movie. There is no noise here other than the birds for company. Warm yourself by the stack stone fireplace on chilly mountain evenings or use the fire pit outside to enjoy the mountain views and forest noises. Cabin includes a heavenly king size bed, full size kitchen, outside charcoal grill, washer, dryer, and full bath.

Traveling with friends or family? Loose Moose sister cabin, Crazy Bear, is located on the same 5 acre property for rent as well. Pull out the sleep sofa for additional sleeping arrangement.. Motorcycle enthusiasts can park up to 4 motorcycles under the leanto with a level easy access to park and turn trailers. We discourage any type of work here but feel free to hook up to the free wifi to discover the area adventures. It is THE perfect place for a relaxing, romantic getaway for a couple, or bring the kids who will absolutely love playing in the creek and roaming the trails in the woods. Nearby there are hundreds of hiking trails including four incredible waterfall hikes and Bald River which is the most spectacular river to kayak, fish, or swim.

Cyclists or Bikers can leave right from the property straight to the Cherahala Skyway and also the beautiful River Road. Motorcyclists love staying here as well because of the easy access to the Skyway and easy gravel road to the cabin.
