This cabin offers a rustic chic design and open floor plan with towering windows to showcase the panoramic views from almost every seat in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with essentials and a gas range, farmhouse apron sink, textured granite countertops, abundant cabinet space, and an island with a bar for dining. Hardwood floors are throughout the cabin. Authentic barn slider doors for the bath and bedroom downstairs. The bathroom offers double sinks and a spacious walk-in tile shower. The loft bedroom has the same breathtaking views as the lower level. Charcoal cooking grill out front (don’t forget to bring charcoal, but seasonings/condiments provided in kitchen).

**There is a small creek crossing required to get to the cabin. Most times the creek is no more than 6 inches deep. However, following periods of heavy rain or snow the crossing may deepen to the point where an SUV or Truck is recommended. Trucks will also prove valuable navigating many of the area roads.

This quaint bungalow is nestled creekfront in complete privacy at the end of the road surrounded by mountain forest. It is right on a rushing creek running through all 3 acres. Enjoy panning for the gold we always find in it, sleeping to the peaceful sound of the creek directly from the comfortable sleeping porch or bedroom with beautiful views of the creek, relaxing on the spacious screened in porch day and night, or toasting marshmallows in the outside fire-pit while star gazing.

It is THE perfect place for a relaxing, romantic getaway for a couple, or bring the kids who will absolutely love playing in the creek and panning for gold. The outdoor screened in porch is THE BEST place for daytime napping or nightime sleeping in the large, very comfortable queen futon. Often two couples choose the bungalow because of the outside porch sleeping or pull out queen sofabed. In the evening, the creek has beautiful low voltage lighting throughout the property. Nearby there are hundreds of hiking trails including four incredible waterfall hikes and Bald River which is the most spectacular river to kayak, fish, or swim.

Cyclists can bike right from the property straight to the Cherahala Skyway and also the beautiful River Road. Motorcyclists love staying here as well because of the easy access to the Skyway and easy gravel road to the cabin.

If you enjoy seclusion, are a nature lover, and like the peacefulness of creek side accommodations, this is the place for you. You won't find a more cozy, private cabin RIGHT ON the rushing creek. It is truly getting away from it all and back to nature relaxing in paradise. There isn't another cabin like it available for rental.

Stained glass was custom made and framed. Floors, walls, ceiling and trim work were all meticulously hand sanded in this six month labor of Love. Welcome to Tellico Plains! Tucked away on the side of Bullet Mountain, you will find our log cabin which was custom built in 2015 and situated on 10 wooded acres. This cabin served as our primary residence until 2020, when we bought additional property and made the difficult decision to leave our beloved cabin on the mountain.
