This is a very private cabin on a beautiful large 3.5-acre lot. It is in a small community of larger plot mini farms along a secluded section of Stover Creek. This rustic and well-maintained chink log cabin is in its own valley and neighbors are out of view, even in winter months. The large, screened porch, with a luxurious hot tub, faces the woods. The relaxing sounds of nature and rushing water will wash away the worries of city life.
Two king-sized bedrooms, large loft and sofa beds provide sleeping for up to 6 adults comfortably. Two large bathrooms and a washer and dryer provide facilities for all guests’ cleaning needs. The kitchen is well appointed, including a large refrigerator, a dishwasher and a full-size gas range and stove.
There is super-fast fiber Internet, phone service through ETC, large smart TVs in the bedrooms and living room, and central heat and air. The atmosphere from a real wood burning stone fireplace, with a gas starter, makes it feel like camping without 'roughing it.' Firewood is provided.
This wonderful retreat is in the Blue Ridge Wildlife Management Area of the Chattahoochee National Forest but is still only an hour and a half drive from Atlanta.
There are lots of fun things to do in this area. Hiking abounds: the Benton MacKaye and the Appalachian Trails heads are about 12 miles away on Springer Mountain, and there is numerous hiking trails close by that lead to several waterfalls, a swinging bridge, and spectacular mountain views. Fishing opportunities in the numerous trout streams and in area mountain lakes are plentiful and cater to all skill levels. The kayaking and tubing opportunities on the Cartecay river and Toccoa river are very close by, and the shuttle services are inexpensive and easy to navigate. More challenging guided white-water rafting is a short drive away, as well. Mountain bike trails and horseback riding are also easy to locate and enjoy.
Beautiful downtown Ellijay is about 15 miles away. Ellijay has numerous antique shops and art galleries and small eateries. Ellijay is host to an apple festival in October, while the numerous orchards are open all year long and have tours, some offer hayrides and petting areas for the kids. The city of Blue Ridge is about 25 miles from this cabin. Blue Ridge offers old-fashioned train rides along the Toccoa River and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy as well. The entire area is rich with history and southern culture and charm.
The mountains of northwest Georgia are not overly touristy or trashy. The locals have character are pleasant and eager to please visitors. Simply driving through this naturally beautiful area is a scenic adventure. Come see for yourself, and I’m sure you’ll have a difficult time keeping this place a secret!

We have a Hot Tub Pavilion with its own relaxing, laid-back seating area perfect for gathering under the ceiling fan and chatting with your friends in the tub. The tub itself is a 6 seat Gulf Coast Spa LX5000 with lights, waterfall, and aromatherapy. And...drum roll please...we positioned the hot tub and raised it off the ground so you can enjoy the mountain view from the tub...you can truly soak it all in.

Do you want a getaway that sticks with you for weeks. A vacation experience you cant help but tell your family and friends about? This is the place. Right here. Enjoy a week or a weekend - grillin', chillin', hiking, biking, kayaking. Downstairs we have a comfy-cozy Living Room, Media Room, and Dining Room area defined by custom-made, absolutely one-of-a-kind door and window trim. Look closely at the pictures from those rooms! The warm ambiance it creates is almost indescribable. If you like beautiful handmade artistry...it alone is worth coming to see. Also you will find hand-scraped solid oak floors throughout this area.

The Living Room has a large mountain-view picture window, wood-burning fireplace and loads of cowboy cool, which continues right on into the Media Room. There you can enjoy the game in sheer audio and visual pleasure on the Sony 40' HD LCD TV and 5.1 Sony Home Theatre System with Boston Acoustic speakers & subwoofer.

We provide Dish Network Satellite TV reception in the Media Room, both downstairs bedrooms and the Teen Loft. The Media Room and the Master Bedroom both have a HD TV, and all four TVs have recording capability to record your shows while you are out.

The kitchen has an enormous cast iron farm sink, beautiful custom made French country distressed finish cabinets with tear drop glass doors. Frigidaire electric range and ceramic stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher, a side-by-side Bosch refrigerator, and various small appliances for your convenience.

We have two beautifully decorated bedrooms and two cute-as-can-be bathrooms downstairs; then we have a darn nice teen loft with half-bath and one queen and one twin bed. Plus the loft has three built-in cushioned benches for lounging, though they are not setup for sleeping.

From the front porch you can see for miles. The view is sweetly framed by the split-rail cedar fence and the close-by trees, creating an effect that is hard to duplicate. Off one end of the front porch are stairs and a walkway that lead you to the Hot Tub Pavilion. At the other end of the front porch is the deck. The deck has a stainless steel propane gas grill for quick and easy grillin', plus a large square dining table (square makes it easy to talk & pass the groceries) and cushioned seating for eight. And that's not all ...another drum roll please...you can soak up a little mountain sun, touch up your tan, and get your Vitamin D!!! We've got two fully cushioned chaise lounges that face in just the right direction.

Outside, we have beautiful natural landscaping and a paved basketball court for the kids and/or adventuresome adults. We also have an outdoor fire-pit. We supply the wood - you supply the common sense and don't set the woods on fire.

Details matter, and we have put extra attention in appointments and furnishings, from the linens to the wall decor. For all beds we use Jamison Resort Foam 5-Star Mattresses and high thread count sheets. In both downstairs bedrooms we use extra plush 80 ounce luxury carpet and heavy padding. We even use Italian decorative iron with an embossed vineyard grain for the porch & deck pickets.

How do you get a mountain view - You gotta climb a hill. With over twenty years of rental guests coming and going on our hill, obviously this is not an issue for most folks. But for a few it is. Unlike so many of the privately owned roads out here in the country, we make sure ours is maintained regularly. Nevertheless, low-slung cars, overloaded/under-powered vehicles, and timid drivers are at a disadvantage driving any gravel hill. If you want to know more, please ask.

Wagon Wheel Ridge is only about 12 miles from Ellijay in Gilmer County, Georgia, the Apple Capital of Georgia. Ellijay is home to the Apple Festival held two weekends in October. There are Apple Houses along the highways with fresh and canned produce, gifts, baked goods, and other treats. Ellijay has numerous antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Wagon Wheel ridge is also convenient to Amicalola Falls, Dawsonville, Dahlonega, and Blue Ridge, each with their own attractions. NOTE: It is a two mile off road rustic experience to the cabin from the main road, with occasional steep inclines and dirt/gravel terrain. Although 2-wheel drive vehicles can make it with some skilled driving, a 4-wheel drive or AWD is highly recommended. If you are unfamiliar with mountain roads this may not be the cabin for you. But it is definitely worth the humps & bumps when you get here! Plan ahead and stop at one of the food/supply stores on your way in, as it is about 20-25 minutes from the cabin once there. Walmart & grocery/fast food stores are plentiful in either Ellijay to the south or Blue Ridge to the north.

***Our Pet fee is $60 per pet (maximum 2 with prior approval) for your entire stay. Due to allergies, No cats please! Weight limit of 25lbs per dog (over 25lbs with prior approval). Once we accept your reservation, We will make the adjustment for the pet fee of $60

NO pets allowed on furniture! Please note that there will be additional fees for excessive dog hair on furniture, beds, couches and/or damage to leather furniture. Please use the provided medium dog crate/kennel if you are leaving them at the cabin alone at any time to avoid “separation accidents”! If we have approved a larger dog, we ask that you bring your own larger crate/kennel for your pet. You will find that Ellijay & Blue Ridge are very pet friendly if you plan to take them into town or on a local hike!

We have a designated pet waste station next to the trash bin. Please be sure to pick up after your pet and place all bags in the pet waste trash bin.

I seriously considered borrowing one for my trip, but I did end up just using my own car (PriusC… so like a toy car LOL :) and there were a couple spots a spun out a little in some lose gravel while having to gun it a bit to get up a hill, but otherwise, no issues just avoiding all the big holes and ruts and such. But I definitely would not want to have tried it in the dark or the rain, so bear that in mind when planning for yourself. Overall, I had a great relaxing time getting away and sitting by the fire pit drinking wine!"

We provide Dish Network Satellite TV reception, a DVD player upstairs, and a Sony PS3 downstairs.

The kitchen has a dual composite sink, antiqued and distressed cabinets and granite countertop. Whirlpool electric range and ceramic stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and French door bottom freezer refrigerator, and various small appliances for your convenience.

We have a beautifully decorated king Master Bedroom and Bathroom with tub/shower and two sinks upstairs. Then we have a cozy and cute queen Bedroom downstairs with an equally cute full (shower-only) bathroom.

We have a doubledecker deck. Right outside the kitchen on the upper deck we have a stainless steel propane gas grill for quick and easy grillin'. Walk around the corner and you are outside the upstairs living room overlooking our holler. There are with plenty of tables & chairs to spread out, and two comfortable rocking chairs for relaxing with someone special. The Hot Tub is on the lower deck, along with more tables & chairs, and being lower, a closer view of the Holler!.

Outside, we have beautiful natural landscaping.. We also have an outdoor fire-pit. We supply the wood - you supply the common sense and don't set the woods on fire.

Details matter, and we have put extra attention in appointments and furnishings, from the linens to the wall decor. For all beds we use premium quality mattresses and high thread count sheets.

How do you get a mountain view - You gotta climb a hill. With over twenty years of rental guests coming and going on our hill, obviously this is not an issue for most folks. But for a few it is. Unlike so many of the privately owned roads out here in the country, we make sure ours is maintained regularly. Nevertheless, low-slung cars, overloaded/under-powered vehicles, and timid drivers are at a disadvantage driving any gravel hill. If you want to know more, please ask.

Hills 'n Holler is only about 12 miles from Ellijay in Gilmer County, Georgia, the Apple Capital of Georgia. Ellijay is home to the Apple Festival held two weekends in October. There are Apple Houses along the highways with fresh and canned produce, gifts, baked goods, and other treats. Ellijay has numerous antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Hills 'n Holler is also convenient to Amicalola Falls, Dawsonville, Dahlonega, and Blue Ridge, each with their own attractions. Go antiquing to your heart's content or ride the scenic railway in Blue Ridge. Visit the North Georgia Premium Outlet stores & the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville. Pan for gold & shop antiques in Dahlonega. Yee Haw!

- "First, our week long stay was wonderful. The property was very well taken care of with all of the necessities one needs. From separate hot tub towels to a meat thermometer, I don't thing there was anything that we needed and were missing. The location is beautiful with just a short ride into the closest town for supplies or a meal. We got a powdering of snow and the kids thoroughly enjoyed making the tiniest snowmen ever created. Since we were there during the winter storm, we were asked to drip the faucets until the temperature rose above freezing, which wasn't a problem at all. The power did go out one night for about 3 hours, but as soon as it did the property manager came by to show us where the emergency supplies could be found, ask if we needed anything else, and discuss what we could do if the power didn't come back on soon. Luckily for us it did, and we got to continue our stay. The kids loved having the downstairs area to themselves for the stay and we really liked that after bedtime we could relax upstairs with a fire and chat without worrying about waking them up. The property manager trimmed and decorated a tree for us, for our stay and the kids thought Santa had prepped the cabin for us, and who am I to tell them otherwise? We had an amazing Christmas and a very relaxing week. We hope to come back next winter for another visit. It's just what we needed for our holiday break"

Our cabin is a custom log home with 3 levels and porches galore. On the main floor, you'll find the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, laundry room, and a separate half bath. There is another bedroom, shared bath, and a loft upstairs. The rooms are large and comfortable. The basement on the terrace level is not available for use. Please note that living areas are only accessible by stairs.

We have new king size beds in each bedroom and a futon in the loft. We have plenty of linens and pillows to keep you cozy, but feel free to bring your favorites. You can expect 2 towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth for each guest. We have blow dryers in both full bathrooms.

Gather around the stone fireplace. Cuddle up on the leather couch or in one of the cozy recliners. The cabin has 4 flat-screen TV's with DirecTV. The loft is a perfect place for the kids to play games and watch movies. We have WiFi!

The kitchen is fully equipped for most meals. Enjoy dishes, utensils, and glassware for at least 8. We have all appliances (Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, small crockpot, refrigerator, dishwasher, gas oven, and stove. There's a grill on the back deck). The grill is not available late September - November due to bears. Bring your food, drinks, and condiments. Don't forget your coffee pods!

This wonderful home has 3 levels. Main level contains Bedroom 1, guest bath, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room with wood burning fire place. The upper level has the master suite/bath with private deck and the loft area with a trundle day bed. Head down below the main level via the exterior steps and you find the lower family room which contains a sofa with a coffee table and seating. This room contains a large smart tv and a mix of board games.

Step out to the backyard, which is situated right on the river, where you can play corn hole, make s'mores by the fire pit. In the summer go tubing down or kayaking down the river, play in the water, and fishing poles right from the backyard. After a day of fun, throw some burgers on the grill and eat on the outdoor dining table while soaking up the amazing views of the river from the back porch. Just need to relax?? Enjoy the NEW hot tub on the back deck overlooking the river. It is so peaceful to simply sit on the front porch to watch the deer gather in the front yard throughout the day. There are two large bedrooms. On the main level, the second bedroom features two twin beds with access to the back porch. There is a full bath on the main level with a tub shower combo. The Primary (king) is on the upper level featuring its own private balcony overlooking the river where you can savor your morning coffee as you watch the sun rise over the river or unwind with your favorite beverage. The primary bath has a full bath with separate shower and jetted tub. The large loft overlooks the family room, has a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping and gaming area with NEW foosball table, checkers, and board games.

Plus, the Fall is wonderful for Orchards, Apple Picking, and North Georgia Festivals.

WINTER....In Georgia our Winters are sometimes similar to our Spring and Fall. The weather can be mild and most outdoor activities are just as doable in the Winter as they are in the Spring and Summer. Plus, who doesn't love a cozy fire snuggled up in the cabin on chilly Winter days or relaxing in the HOT TUB. Sitting around the firepit on cooler days enjoying the river views is a favorite too!

Our bedrooms are designed for comfort and relaxation. The main bedroom has a king bed and en-suite half bath. The cozy second bedroom offers a double bed, and charming farmhouse décor.

The cabin has excellent internet, and if you must work on vacation, there is a great set up with a desk, laptop stand, mouse, and keyboard for your use. We also have an automatic whole house generator in case of power outages. Paved roads and an easy drive make this the perfect getaway.

In the master bedroom, we have a comfortable queen bed, night table and 9 drawer chest to store all of your belongings. In addition, we have a closet for your hanging items. Our work station with monitor, keyboard, and mouse are ready to plug in your laptop in case the need arises. We have high speed fiber internet access and WIFI that reaches out to the fishing deck. The master has a connected bathroom with a corner shower and vanity with plenty of storage shelves.

There is a second full bathroom with large shower, vanity, plenty of storage shelving and full size laundry available.

In the second bedroom, also known as the bunk room, we have 2 twin beds over 2 queen beds able to sleep 6. There is a 9 drawer chest and closet for storing all your belongings.

Each bedroom and the living room has a Roku equipped TV to access your streaming services.

In the living area we have a couch, rocking chair and armchair for lounging around, watching TV or enjoying the cozy wood burning stove. We have selection of DVDs for children and families as well as board games, puzzles and playing cards for leisure indoor time.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with supplies to create meals for your family (pots and pans, crock pot, Instant Pot, Vitamix blender, griddle and more). There is a drip style coffee pot and electric water kettle to start your day with a warm beverage.

We have a large, screened porch with additional seating to view the lake and outdoor activities. Outside there is a 4-person hot tub and fire pit with Adirondack chairs for relaxing while taking in the views. Watching the stars at night from the hot tub is amazing experience. We have very little light pollution and the number of stars that are visible to the naked eye is awe inspiring.

We have a canoe, 2 single person kayaks and a small rowboat for use on the lake. Or you can just jump in and swim. It is so refreshing on a hot day! On the far side of the lake is a very large deck for relaxing on the waterfront or for catch and release fishing. Have a seat in the swing overlooking the lake for a peaceful spot to read. There are multiple seating areas around the lake and on the hilltop for conversation and fun!

There is so much to do in the area for the outdoor adventurer such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or rafting and tubing. Visit the apple houses in Ellijay or Blue Ridge for all the harvest delights! There are wineries, breweries and tasty restaurants for the food explorer. Lots of fun shopping options in Ellijay or Blue Ridge for those who like to leisurely stroll and window shop.

When the listing states the lake is stocked it is very accurate as we stayed two nights and ended up catching over 20 bass! Taking my wife and kids out one at a time in the provided Jon boat was a real treat to hit those sweet fishing spots. What’s better than catching a 1lb bass? Watching a 10lb bass trying to steal the lure out of its mouth while you’re reeling it in! Caught it on video! My only regret is forgetting to sign the guest book before we left. But that’s okay, we’ll just sign it twice when we return because we WILL be back! Thank you for the memories."

Like most places in the mountains, getting to the cottage does require following a few small roads and a short dirt road that the cottage is on. However, if you are up for an adventure, this will not be a problem! Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome with prior approval at an additional flat rate of $60 with a 2-dog maximum.

Main level:
The main level boasts a spacious kitchen and living area with vaulted ceilings, insulated windows and porch access from every room, comfortable furnishings, a breakfast nook, gas fireplace, gas grill, multiple TV's and a beautiful open-concept kitchen with island seating, perfect for hosting.

Our ready to cook in kitchen is equipped with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, microwave, gas cooktop & oven, farmhouse sink, coffee maker, plates/bowls, glassware and all the tools needed to cook just about any meal!

On the main level you will also find a master king suite with double door porch access, a dresser, Smart TV, alarm clock, a private bathroom with dual vanities, large walk in-shower, hair dryer, ironing board and hand-held steamer located in the walk in closet.

There is also a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, double door porch access, dresser, desk, Smart TV, alarm clock, private bathroom with gorgeous walk in shower, and a Pack 'N Play and high chair stored in the closet.

The lower level greets you with a BYOB wet bar, perfect for chilling beverages and serving snacks of your choice for the "game porch" right outside! There's plenty of options!

As for the professionals and extended stayers, take advantage of a comfortable workspace right below the staircase. Desk, task lamp, an extra monitor and adapter provided.

The lower level also provides a separate bathroom with a shower/tub, bedroom, queen bed, dresser, alarm clock and bunk bed for additional guests or littles.

Please note there are multiple entrances to the gated Coosawattee River Resort. At the time of booking, you will be asked to provide names of all guests 16 years of age or older for gate entry. Instructions will be sent before check in. Be careful as you drive in, as the roads are windy and you will want to be watchful of wildlife and appreciate the flowing river as you pull up to the paved driveway at The Back Porch! A smart lock code will be provided and you will have access to the entire cabin with the exception of owners closet. The driveway can accomodate up to 5 cars, no street parking allowed.

This is a newly built cabin and the hosts wish to maintain the quality and integrity of the property by offering a PET-FREE and SMOKE-FREE environment, which includes the use of all tobacco, vapes and e-cigarettes.

With The Back Porch being located in a gated community, it is common that it is the permanent home of many neighbors. We ask that you respect the surrounding area and also understand that there may be uncontrollable aspects of the property or mountains that occur. We graciously ask that you embrace the potential quirks of mountain living and weather while safely enjoying your stay!

We welcome families with children of all ages! 1 Pack 'N Play and high chair are included. However, this cabin is not childproof. There are multiple levels, fireplaces, a hot tub, stairs, balconies and other interior/exterior common areas that could be dangerous. Children must be supervised at all times and should never be left unattended (always with adult supervision) in and outside the cabin.

Resort amenities are available upon request for a fee. Amenities include 1 indoor heated swimming pool, 1 outdoor swimming pool, tennis, mini-golf, a game room and fitness center. The resort also has river access for fishing, tubing, kayaking or canoeing and there are nearby rental companies to rent equipment from. If guest passes were provided, be sure to replace passes to top right drawer of island. **If the guest passes are not left at the property we will charge a $100 dollar fine to replace.**

Necessary cleaning items such as vacuum, broom and dust pan are available in utility room but professional cleaning is provided upon departure. Upon checkout, please be sure to check for all belongings as the hosts and cleaning crew are not responsible for locating or returning missing items.

Firewood for outdoor fireplaces is not provided but may be leftover from previous guests. If not, can be purchased at any of the local grocery, convenience or hardware stores. Fireplaces and fire pit must always be attended and extinguished before leaving the area.

Please be aware that even though pest control treats the property, you are likely to see insects during your stay. Please do your best to keep them out of the cabin by keeping all windows and doors shut at all times and keep the trash in the trashcan, with closure. We recommend bringing insect repellent.

To respect guests who are checking out and our cleaners' schedules, last minute/same day check-in's may be subject to a later check-in time of 7 PM.

This cabin just about 5 minutes from downtown Ellijay with everything you need! 1 queen bedroom and a back room with twin bunk beds.

The space

Bedroom: - Super cozy which is a more positive spin on small.. :) it's barely big enough for the memory foam queen bed.. There is also a small closet with luggage rack.

Bunk nook: Twin over twin bunks with a mini foosball table and Streetfighter II arcade game console.

The dining area has a table with chairs that will seat 4.

Washer and dryer in the back room by the bunk beds.

The living room has a 55" Roku TV.

You get the place all to yourself! You will receive a door code and other helpful instructions 48 hours ahead of your arrival.

Unless I am asleep, I am generally accessible via the Airbnb app or by text or phone.

The area has other short term rentals and also permanent residents. Our cabin is somewhat close to one other house which is 20-30 yards away on the back side of the cabin. They are pretty quiet and keep to themselves. The privacy wall around the hot tub was built to maintain privacy.

Parking can accommodate about 3 vehicles. The roads are somewhat narrow in most residential neighborhoods and that would be accurate for this location.

Our pictures in the listing make it look like there are no other homes or cabins around for miles.. :) but there are other homes and cabins in the vicinity. We, of course, wanted to just capture our property in the photos. There is one home that I would consider close by - about 20-30 yards away on the back side of the cabin. They are pretty quiet and keep to themselves. The privacy wall around the hot tub was built to maintain privacy.

Pets: 2 pet maximum. If there is furniture damage or excessive pet hair, there may be additional cleaning costs added.

This is a pet friendly property. While our cleaning team does an excellent job, pets shed and pet hair can be difficult to clear away 100%. All linens are fresh for each stay but you may encounter pet hair. If that turns you off, this property may not be the best fit for you. I would recommend continuing your search! Otherwise, we'd love to have you! :)

1. Please empty the refrigerator and take all trash outside to the bear proof receptacle.

Over stating the obvious:
- Please do not run the electric fireplace and the air conditioner at the same time.

- The hot tub is all ready for you and should be set no lower than 100 or more than 104 degrees at all times

- We have stocked the cabin with many items including start-up supplies. However, you will likely need to supplement with your own during your stay. We appreciate that our guests take good care of the home we have set up, and we do ask that you use only what you need during your stay.

RENTAL RULES
1. Smoking is NOT allowed and Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted - Evidence of smoking will result in a $200 fee

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the on-line agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to in the on-line itinerary. No more than 5 persons (including infants) are allowed in the cabin at any time.

3. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code- enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00p.m. – 8:00a.m. If you plan to party do not book this cabin. It is our home and you must treat it with respect.

4. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order, removing any items from the cabin including living and kitchen furnishings is not permitted.

6. Pets: Pets are permitted. 2 pet max. Pets must be kenneled if left in the home unsupervised. Guests will be held responsible for furniture and/or property damage. Guests must pick up pet waste and dispose of it appropriately. Excessive pet hair or animal waste found in the property may result in additional cleaning costs as they are incurred from the cleaning personnel.

8. Parking: PARKING – Parking is limited to 3 vehicles.

9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. Check Out is at 10am. Before you leave, we ask that the items below be completed to help our housekeeper quickly prepare for the next guest. Please load all dishes into the dishwasher and run it on the normal cycle. Please remove and dispose of all items in the refrigerator. Remove the sheets from all beds and place sheets and towels on the floor (not in the bathtub) of the bathrooms.

10.Please lock all doors and all windows upon departure

11. Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper bear-proof garbage receptacle, on the front corner of the home.

12. Hot Tub: [No children under the age of 18 permitted in hot tubs at any time] [without adult supervision]. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. [DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement.] No food, drink, bubble bath, bath bombs are permitted in the hot tub. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.

13. Fireplace: The fireplace is an electric faux fire place with a heater option.
Do not leave on for more than 2 hours at a time.

14. Water and Septic: The cabin is on a septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.

15. Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions. Any damage to any items in the cabin including couches, chairs, tables, TVs, pool table, hot tub, beds, sheets, towels, pillows, etc, are the responsibility of the renter. Every item will be looked at before arrival and after departure. If you cause damage, notify the owner immediately. We will find it and charge you regardless. It is our home. Treat it as if it were you own.

Failure to comply with the above rules will result in non-return of security deposit and possible additional charges. Booking through Airbnb assigns your consent to all listed under "House Rules".

Pinhoti Way is an adorable tiny cabin perfect for the solo traveler, or two folks together. This cabin comes with a set of twin bunkbeds, heat, air conditioning, microwave, minifridge and includes all linens including bedding, towels, and fluffy robes. It's located adjacent to one of two hot tubs and is just a 20 second walk to the showerhouse/restroom (complimentary toiletries are provided.) A small stream runs right past Pinhoti Way!

The space
Mulberry Gap is a cross between a bed and breakfast, a campground, and a summer camp! Most guests are here to enjoy the nearby trails, lakes, streams, and other outdoor adventures. All are welcome, but you'll often encounter a large number of mountain bikers, hikers, dualsport/ADV motorcyclists, and trail runners during your stay at Mulberry Gap.

Special Note: Each Cabin comes with heat/ac, a mini-fridge, microwave, linens, towels, and robes. There are two modern bathroom/shower houses on property with basic complimentary toiletries, but there are NOT PRIVATE BATHROOMS IN EACH CABIN. Bath/showerhouses are within a one minute walk of each cabin.

Shuttle services are available, for an additional fee, to local trailheads at 10am, noon, and 2pm on Thursday through Monday.

Our office is closed for our "weekend" on Tuesday and Wednesday each week, but guests are still welcome to stay on the property. There will be a 24/7 guest services line available to guests at any time the office is closed.

The resort has updated how guests gain access to the amenities on site. The guest will be responsible for purchasing amenity passes at the POA office. Monday-Saturday 9 am- 5 pm. Amenity passes are $59 per card. Each card allows 4 guests to use the amenities during the reservation dates. The POA only takes checks or money orders for payments.

The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day only.

We suggest Guest(s) bring personal grooming items, grocery items, specialty items and any unique or important items vital to your vacation (such as firewood). We try to keep a supply of firewood on hand, but the availability of firewood is not guaranteed.

Guest access
The whole property! The cabin sits in the middle of one acre, with some vacant land nearby and a few cabins on nearby hillsides and one home in plain view. The driveway and firepit area feel very secluded though, you feel like you have the whole mountain to yourself!

Other things to note
***Be aware of the weather and your vehicle. During heavy rain, snow/ice, or after dark, it will be more difficult traveling to and from the cabin. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is suggested as it is a two mile off road adventure to the cabin in dirt/gravel conditions and it can get quite bumpy in spots.

NO pets allowed on furniture! Please note that there will be additional fees for excessive dog hair on furniture, beds, couches and/or damage to leather furniture. Please use the provided medium dog crate/kennel if you are leaving them at the cabin alone at any time to avoid “separation accidents”! If we have approved a larger dog, we ask that you bring your own larger crate/kennel for your pet. You will find that Ellijay & Blue Ridge are very pet friendly if you plan to take them into town or on a local hike!

We have a designated pet waste station next to the trash bin. Please be sure to pick up after your pet and place all bags in the pet waste trash bin. Please don't discard any loose items in the trash bin, please bag all trash, thank you!


***There are two security camera with audio located in the driveway area, one pointed away from the cabin and down the driveway to see approaching vehicles, and one on a tree above the trash bin to keep an eye on the cabin and the weather conditions. These are the only cameras on the property, per Georgia law. This is for the safety and security of our guests and the property.

***We have a Smart Thermostat installed. You have access to change the temperature to cool between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit, or heat between 55-70 degrees Fahrenheit. We provide plenty of warm blankets in the cabin if you need to stay warmer in the winter, the wood-burning fireplace will heat the cabin rather nicely. Since the fireplace does warm the house quite a bit, it is not to be used during the warm weather months between May-September or it may cause the AC to malfunction, thanks for your cooperation!

Be Bear Aware! You’re in bear country. Please help keep bears wild and people safe. Do not leave food or trash outside. Secure all garbage in bear-proof containers or store indoors. Do not feed wildlife, even unintentionally. Clean grills and outdoor cooking areas after each use. Store pet food, coolers, and scented items indoors or in a bear-resistant container. Keep your distance if you see a bear. Never approach or try to scare it away.
Remember: A fed bear is a dead bear.

This dog-friendly cabin with indoor & outdoor fireplaces, WiFi, cable & central AC is located just minutes from both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. This charming cabin is secluded and private but close to restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities and includes a private hiking trail to Jones Creek. Prepare anything from your morning coffee to full-course dinners in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and enjoy an open great room with vaulted ceiling and lots of windows.

Each bedroom has a queen bed and television and includes an attached bathroom. The open great room has a wood-burning fireplace and television. Other things to note
DOGS: Dogs are WELCOME! We love our fur babies, but this property allows a maximum of two dogs and the fee is $75 per stay. Please, clean paws only in the house and keep dogs off furniture. If you would like to snuggle with your dog on the couch, please bring a blanket to lay on the furniture. The pet policy is strictly enforced and an additional cleaning fee may be applied for excessive shedding.

DRIVING: Last 0.5 miles of road to cabin is unpaved and bumpy at times, very low riding vehicles are NOT recommended, 4 wheel drive preferred, 2 wheel front drive ok, large oversized vehicles are NOT a good idea.

STAIRS: The ladder style staircase is a fun “camping” experience but may not be suitable for everyone. Not ADA compliant, caution is required when using them. Sleeper sofa is available to sleep on downstairs.

CELL SERVICE: You will lose cell service approximately 15 minutes away from the cabin (based on carrier) with some random spots along the way. You can log into WiFi once in the cabins and enable WiFi calling and send/receive text messages and emails. Highly recommend printing driving directions to and from the cabin.

LOFTED BEDROOM: There are no walls or doors that separate the lofted sleeping area from the living space on the main floor. This cabin would not be suitable for guests who would like privacy in sleeping quarters. Would be ideal for a small family with kids older than 5 years old.

The CampAway is approximately 4 acres and houses two 1/bed 1/bath cabins - The Big Dipper Cabin and The Little Dipper Cabin. The cabins are connected via gravel driveways or hiking trails and are approximately 60 yards apart and separated by elevation and trees. Guests of both cabins have access to the Vandergriff Creek via hiking trails. The hike down to the creek from the cabins takes approximately 10-15 minutes via dirt and rock trails and should be a moderate hike for most children and adults. These are true hiking trails and may not be suitable for everyone. Being true mountain cabins, pests and bugs may sometimes make their way into the cabin even though we do spray and inspect monthly to keep them outside.

Minutes away from tubing and rafting. Downtown Ellijay is the heart of antiques and has that small-town feel. Several wineries in the area along with breweries that offer North Georgia craft beer. We are the home of The Georgia Apple Festival.

Located on Briar Creek Road, across a covered bridge, and along a winding river road, this cabin will give you plenty of room to breathe and relax. Blue Ridge is just minutes away and abounds with exciting shops, quality restaurants, seasonal art shows, and theater. With the southern foot of the Appalachians as your backyard, you can try some of the country's best hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, zip-lining, white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and other fun water activities. You could even try sky-diving, hang-gliding, rock climbing, spelunking, and other high-adventure sports. If you'd prefer a quieter excursion, pick apples or peaches at an orchard, visit historical sites, play golf, or relax at the spa. With this cabin's central location, you'll have tons of nature at your fingertips! Grab your camera for some shots of the mountains or tree-lined landscape. If you're visiting in autumn, try to catch the Georgia Apple Festival, a large celebration with crafts, live music, and - you guessed it - apples. When you enter this cabin, you'll notice its lovely woodwork and vaulted ceilings. The living room boasts a smart TV with Netflix streaming and Pandora. You'll also find a selection of games and DVDs, along with free WiFi. Prepare favorite meals in the open kitchen, which includes coffee makers, rice maker, crockpot, and blender. While you can enjoy dinner at a small dining table nearby, you can also venture outside to the front porch, where there is plenty of space for everyone.

Rock in a chair for a while on the covered deck, taking in the beautiful woods and wildflowers, watch the deer graze at dusk as the sun sets, or relax curled up in the rocking recliner with a glass of local wine or a cup of tea and a good book. Please note that the road into Riverbend is a maintained mountain dirt road. It may be smooth one day and muddy or bumpy the next. AWD/4WD vehicles are always recommended for mountain travel, especially in rainy conditions.

• Wildlife Is All Around – Black bears, raccoons, deer, and other animals call this place home. Please store all food properly and use the Bear Box for garbage (visible near the Studio).

• Dogs Welcome (No Cats) – We’re happy to host well-behaved dogs! Please clean up after them. No cats due to severe allergies.

Easy access with minimal steps. This home has recently been remodeled top to bottom, new oven added, and a new master suite bathroom. We take pride in our rental and try to keep it in top notch condition as well as keeping it exceptionally clean for your stay.
Located on a quiet country road it is convenient to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

The horses seen in pictures are not always there, they are on pasture rotation and may or may not be present.

This cabin is set up for two people only --if you bring additional guests you will forfeit your stay--if it has been found out after you leave that additional guests were present you will be charged the full security deposit amount.

Firewood is NOT provided, please bring your own. The best place to buy is the local Ingles in town.
