Tucked into the rolling green landscape that meets the slow-moving Georgia clouds at the horizon, the medium sized cabin is perfect, and has everything you need — as well as plenty of tasteful luxurious touches.

Ideal for couples or intimate groups, this mountainside lodge was designed to be an oasis of peace, pampering, and relaxation deep in nature — yet close enough to towns and activities to ensure you’ll always have exploration and adventure available for when you’re ready to lace up your hiking boots (or flip flops), or put on that nice dress or button-down shirt and head out for a meal or drink.

In my humble opinion, the master bedroom, with its open plan design and jacuzzi tub, is the centerpiece of the cabin, but other SVR staff are all about that deck, bbq, and view… while the chefs among us can’t get enough of that big kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Now that I think of it, the living room is pretty spectacular, too. On one of my visits I sat on that leather rocker thingamajig you see in the photo, and seriously considered just moving in, right then and there.

The fenced in front yard is pretty nifty if you have roaming doggos and/or kiddos. Both are allowed, but make sure to see the details below.

The lodge is remote enough for you to feel like you’re having a back country woods adventure, but is in fact, close to civilization and many things to do. Blairsville is pretty spectacular, as far as cute Georgia towns go, with lots of great food, local produce, and drink. Helen, the self-proclaimed “Georgia’s Official Outdoor Adventure Destination,” is, well, a great jumping off point for some awesome outdoor adventure, sure, but also has a replica Bavarian alpine village in it, for some reason, that is, admittedly, charming as heck.

It took a few days to get the heat units where we wanted as the one in the bedroom would make it really hot but the living room would be much cooler. Our small dogs absolutely loved trekking around and the space was adequate for them. This is a great place to get away and be with nature. Other places to see, such as Helen, are at least 30 min to get to with the cery curvy mountain passes."

Choestoe Village is tucked away so you can enjoy walks around the streets or let your kids play and tube in the river while you sit in a lounge chair on the rocky beach. - "We just returned home from this beautiful Hideaway and we miss it already! The location is perfect. The atmosphere of the cabin with the creek is incredibly relaxing…. Even with a 5 year old, 6 year old, and golden-doodle in tow! So much to see and do within a short 30-45 minute drive in all directions. The only 2 things that could have made it only slightly better were the upstairs loft was way too hot for the kids to stay in and it was slightly less clean…. But totally not a deal breaker by any means! The other thing completely out of anyone’s control was the vacant house next door… when we pulled up, we were thinking oh man, there’s people right there so close, however, it was abandoned and overgrown, which was probably worse. We would totally come back!! Thank you for sharing your space,my little family enjoyed every moment! ❤️"

- "The property is well maintained and clean. It reflects the pictures you see online. It is in a safe environment which is a must with young children. It is the most well stocked home I have been to. It was like being at home with everything you need. The property is in a central location. It is close enough to the places we were interested in visiting. We had a restful, fun time inside and out. The boys loved the game room. We used the firepit to make smores. Each morning we would look out the windows and doors to see how many deer we could see. We actually had a couple deer run by us one night. We had a great vacation, and this is certainly a place I would visit again."

*** I hardly ever rent back to back; I mostly rent just on weekends, 6 night max. Everything is washed in HOT water using Tide Hygienic, sheets, and towels are bleached; everything not bleachable is washed with white vinegar, which is a disinfectant. Every surface is sprayed with lysol or wiped with Clorox wipes; wipes are also provided for your use. The heat pump has a Merv 13 filter.

**No Smoking or Vaping anywhere on property. I am highly allergic, and it gets in furniture even if smoking outside so the No Smokers is VERY important. Thank you so much!! <3 . Please DO NOT book if you smoke or vape.**

Cabin has central heat and air you control thermostat, 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, main bedroom has 32 inch TV with firestick (has cable and Netflix always) and a blu ray player. A 3rd bed for a flat $20.00 charge which is a high profile queen blow up mattress is available upon request and can be set up in living room (does make living room very cramped).

A large bathroom with a tub, 2 shower heads including hand held, and a bidet seat with heated water and seat, living room has a couch, Huge recliner, a chair with ottoman, and a 55 inch 3D TV with firestick, and blu ray player. There is an eat-in kitchen with a table that seats 4.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, stove, toaster, blender, microwave, Keurig, cookware, utensils, plates, silverware, and glasses. A screened in porch with 2 rocking chairs and 3 folding chairs (welcome to take these to beach/ lake or move where ever you need them), and an open deck that has grill, and hot tub.

****This is essentially an upstairs apartment nothing is shared. I do live downstairs, your privacy is my utmost priority you will not see me unless there is an emergency. ***

Weber Charcoal Grill is available. Everything except charcoal and food is provided. It has a rapid fire chimney to get coals ready quick, lighter cubes, and grill kit. No lighter fluid is even needed; just use wax cubes and rapid fire chimney.

***Cabin has fiber optic internet with wifi speeds 100 up and 100 down. TVs both have firesticks with a cable like service with DVR, at the moment YouTube TV and Netflix. At times, I also have regular Hulu, Amazon prime, Paramount +, Disney +, and HBO max, but I always have Netflix and a cable like service, including local channels(Atlanta).

Eggs, KCUPS coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc orange juice, and snacks are provided.

1/2 mile from house is a marina that rents boats, tubes and jetskis. They also have a LARGE deck overlooking the water, and on weekends in summer, they have live music. They also serve wine and beer, occasionally food.

3.6 miles from house is Poteete Creek Campground I supply paid pass for you (Open April to October). They have a swimming beach, fishing, Grills, picnic tables and a boat ramp so feel free to bring your water toys. I have tons of room to park them.

I provide beach towels, beach umbrella, beach bag, beach blanket, small cooler, and chairs for lake as well as a grill utensil kit.

*** Fishing 4 miles from Cabin year round, I provide all gear needed. Including poles, line, bobbers, pliers, even some bait! There is a bait shop 4 miles away as well. You do need to get a fishing license in Georgia, sold at Walmart.

Full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, men's 3 in 1 wash, individually wrapped soap, individual lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup remover towelettes, shower cap, towels, and washcloths. I try to think of everything, so just grab your clothes, food, and charcoal and come and ENJOY THE CABIN!

The fireplace in the living room is only for emergency heat.

Check out is 10:30 am late check out is usually not an option.

****Nothing is shared. Your privacy is my utmost importance, and you will not see or hear me unless an emergency. ****

Outdoor cameras are located on property for my safety and yours. They do not face hot tub but do cover whole property.

Anything I can do to make it more special, please just ask. For a fee, I can get groceries and have them in fridge for you or pick up a cake, flowers, rose petals on bed, etc.

Please be advised that although our property does have listed towels and toiletries as an amenity, we provide enough for a 3-day trip out of courtesy, beyond that we do not provide extras.

Instruction on how to use the Hot tub:
Please keep the water temperature at 102F if you do not need to use the hot tub and when you decide to use it, you can adjust the temperature using the blue and red button. Thank you!

If you need to get away, look no more. Paved roads all the way to our cabin! You won't find this everywhere in the mountains. You will love our hot tub and fire pit. This is a great get away for a couple, one person, or to bring your children. These two bedrooms offers a king bed in the master bedroom and a bunk bed in the second bedroom. You can walk right out the back door to the Cooley lighted deck featuring the hot tub or a couple steps down is the short path to our firepit.

You can bring your motorcycle and store it in our garage specifically constructed for cycles! Bring any car, there are no low spots...again paved roads from Florida, Georgia (etc) to our cabin!

We have a fully equipped kitchen and a propane powered grill. Our cabin is located in cabin community which is perfect for a long walk or even a run!

We also have BBQ grill so bring you favorite items and never leave the cabin.

Also, the new air-fryer toaster oven and a full size frig. Or use the crockpot to come back to a ready-made meal after a long day of hiking.

*Enhanced Cleaning has been thoroughly applied throughout the cabin. All surfaces are washed and disinfected after every guest stay.

*Important to note -check-in is 3-8pm. We do not accept late check-in past 8:30pm.

*This vacation cabin rental is the entire ground floor that is below the main floor. It has a private entrance and a full deck. The upper level is inaccessible and may be occupied by the homeowner who will leave you to your own unless you should need something.

Our Cabin has a single bedroom, equipped with a King-sized bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring.

You'll also find a fully equipped, clean and contemporary bathroom with all necessary toiletries, hair dryer, fresh towels, etc.

The bedroom also has the room darkening shades so you can have a peaceful sleep while avoiding any bright lights through the window. Also, there is enough space in two the separate closets to store your luggage.

Keeping it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located mountain cabin with a cabin feel and a peaceful atmosphere. Close to town with a Mountain View yet close to shopping. Close to Lake Nottely and Lake Chatuge for enjoying boating or jet skiing or paddle boarding.
The guest cabin is less than 2 years old, still has that new cabin feeling. Full kitchen, outdoor gas grill, plenty of parking and an outside deck for enjoying cookouts or just relaxing and enjoying the views.

The space
Cozy, comfortable and enough space to relax for a long weekend or longer. Office desk and office chair for business. Great sunset from the deck along with a view into town.

Other things to note
Airbnb guest, I am sorry about the no animal restriction including service dogs. My cleaning lady who is highly allergic to animals. I would like to accommodate everyone so I am sorry I have to charge another cleaning fee to hire another cleaning lady. Not that easy in the North Georgia mountains. May have to close down for a day or two to get another cleaning girl. Hoping to be able to take this extra charge of 250.00 away when I have a good rep-or with another cleaning girl.
