The space:
This cabin is 3 levels and is approximately 2300 sf.

Main level
There is 1 bedroom and 1 bunk room on the main level. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and smart TV. Room 2 has a bunk bed. Both have access to the deck. There is 1 full bath plus a half bath on the main level.

The large main level living space overlooks the woods and lake with access to the large deck. It has a 50 inch smart TV and a large wood-burning fireplace with cozy seating and a dining/game table.

The deck is accessed from the main level and runs the full width of the cabin. It overlooks the woods and cove and has seating, a large dining table and a large gas grill (gas provided).

The charming eat in kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, cookware and utensils.

Terrace level
The terrace level has a private room with queen bed and smart TV, and a full bathroom with access directly from the bedroom or from the living space.

The terrace-level living space has plenty of seating, a 50 inch smart TV and access to the patio and backyard. The laundry room is also on this level.

Loft
The loft has a spacious private room with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed and a small private balcony overlooking the woods and cove. There’s also open loft space with a cozy reading nook and access to the upper level balcony overlooking the front of the property.

Outdoors
The cabin is set back from the road with very easy driveway access. There is a 2-car carport, large covered RV or boat parking and plenty of extra parking space on the driveway.

The cove and platform dock (first dock along the path) are a short walk from the backyard accessed by steps and a pathway. The dock is a wonderful place to relax, fish or just enjoy the scenery. You are welcome to dock a small boat there (if lake levels are low, space is limited). Gainesville Marina offers boat rentals and will offer a discount if you mention.

War Hill Park- War Hill Park is located on War Hill Park Road, off of Hwy 53 East, and consists of 14 primitive campsites, day-use areas, bathhouse (restrooms and showers), and 4 boat ramps.

The day-use areas and boat ramps are open year-round; however, the campsites close in the winter each year (open March 1-October 31).

The pier at War Hill Park is closed indefinitely due to deteriorating conditions of the pier, deeming it unsafe to use and past the point of repair. We plan to completely replace the pier in the future. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

Welcome to the Etowah River! This luxury river estate is located on a quiet and private stretch of the river. Bring your fishing pole, your tube, or just a good book and sit down by the fire pit on the river's edge.

This river home features three levels of decks overlooking the river, including an outdoor gas fire pit. The main floor consists of an expansive living area and wood-burning fireplace, as well as a bedroom with a king bed. Upstairs is a luxurious master suite with walk-in shower and closet. The lower level features two more bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with two full-over-full bunk beds), as well as a large game room with a putting game, pool table, and bar area.

Also, this home is located near the infamous Etowah River Mine tunnel, so there is no limit to the outdoor adventure that awaits you. We do not provide kayaks or tubes, but you are welcome to bring your own and enjoy the river. Please wear life jackets if doing water sports.

From the moment "Better Together" comes into view, it will take your breath away. The exterior is clad with Japanese Shou Sugi Ban siding, giving it a dramatic black-on-black modern look hidden in the forest. You enter the house through a classic dogtrot breezeway that opens up onto an expansive Brazilian hardwood deck with spectacular west-facing sunset views and an al fresco shower. An attached smaller deck houses the wood burning hot tub and gives the feeling that you are floating in the forest. The interior space has two living areas that equal over 600 square feet and are designed with a modern aesthetic and designer furnishings. To the left is the fully-equipped kitchenette and living area, and to the right is the bedroom and bathroom with dual shower heads and heated floors. Both areas have westward views with large sliding glass doors that lead outside, inviting you to connect with the nature around you.

The space
The Dogwood cabin is a clean, quite newly built modern cabin nestled under the canopy of the thick North Georgia forest and tucked away off a private drive with gated access. You can enjoy all the sounds of the birds singing and chirping in the early morning hours to the deer crunching the leaves at dusk in the forest as they make their way to the small stream or pond located on the property. Enjoy the many beautiful seasons the North Georgia Mountains have to offer in this clean, comfortable open space. Fall, winter, spring, and summer will be perfect in this little hideaway located between Dawsonville and Dahlonega.

The open floor plan has (2) bedrooms with queen-size hybrid memory foam mattresses in both bedrooms, (1) queen size wood Murphy beds in the living room for additional accommodations. The double vanity bathroom has a soaking tub and rain shower head and a hand-held shower nozzle for your relaxation. Enjoy a warm towel from the warmer after a relaxing bath or shower. Get ready in front of the anti fog lighted mirror. You will have access to a stackable washer and dryer so you can go home with clean clothes if you like to.

Kick back and relax on the leather power sofa with reclining seats and a drop-down middle console for drink holders or additional lighting and areas to charge your phone or computer. Two (2) La-Z-Boy manual swivel recliners complete this comfortable living room space. Relax under the remote control operated ceiling fan or enjoy a movie night with the family in this cozy living room.

The kitchen is stocked with the most essentials to cook meals at home. The kitchen offers an electric range, above the range mount microwave, refrigerator, electric dishwasher, and a Keurig coffee maker. Lakeside Retreat is a cozy cabin perfect for couples on Lake Lanier. It is located in Dawsonville, Georgia with close proximity to numerous wineries, downtown Dahlonega, outlet mall shopping, wedding venues, and so much more. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with most anything you might need while traveling. You will love the jetted tub as well as the comfy king bed. (You will have the entire place to yourselves as the basement portion is currently being used
as storage.)

You will have a 600 square foot studio with a fully stocked kitchen(spices, olive oil, a variety of coffee choices, creamers, and sweeteners and much more),luxury bathroom complete with a jetted tub, heated floors, tv, tiled shower, hairdryer, robes, and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and most any other toiletry item you might need. You will also have a comfy king sized bed with a dining area and loveseat. Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in the private driveway and additional parking for campers or trailers or boats can be provided on site. The property is located on a gated gravel drive shared with another small cabin and neighboring family home (not visible from the cabin).

Located on Crane Lake, with a 29 ft roofed pontoon boat moored in the lake to provide great swiming, fishing or just relaxing in comfortable lounge seating. Inflatable Coleman boat and tube are available on the boat.
This home is built of solid log with soaring ceilings, 6 sky lights, 4 fireplaces, oak and pine wood floors. Plenty of glass to allow for views of the lake and forest from every room.

Ultra modern extensively equipped and roomy open kitchen with views of the lake and forest thru 4 sets of double French doors and the bow windows. Top of the line appliances, 5-burner gas cook top, 2 microwaves, trash compactor, wine and beverage cooler to mention a few. There's an extensive array of countertop appliances from bread, maker pasta maker, coffee bean grinder meat slicer to a variety of toasters. My favorite is the Keurig coffee pot with organic coffee pods.


Expansive decks on 3 sides, a gas fire pit, smoker grill, outdoor dining table and plush sitting areas with outdoor speakers and views all around you.

Loft suite is lavishly decorated with Furnishings from the Orient. The master bed is of a Pagoda style with overhead dimmable lighting and motion sensor under the bed lighting. Stepping out of the bed at night sets off a subtle glow from under the bed. From the private table and chairs you will enjoy the view thru the 24-foot wall of windows which overlook the lake or oversee the great room below. From the balcony off the master suite you will enjoy views of the lake and forest . In keeping with the best of the Orient the 240 sq ft Spa style bathroom is equipped with an expansive open shower with 4 body sprays, handheld spray, and overhead shower. As you step out your towels will be easily accessible on the towel warmer shelf. The large Whirlpool spa bath is backed on two sides with glass block to provide privacy while letting the sun glisten on the water. It has a heater which allows extended bathing without the worry of your water going cold. When you enter motion sensor lighting is triggered under the sitting areas of the sink vanity.

The home is a smart house with Alexa in every room with preset commands to provide mood lighting at a single command of "good evening", or turn off those lights by saying "good night" or play any music you desire thru out the lodge on all the speakers including the outside decks, request the time or weather and so much more. With a simple command of good morning Alexa will provide the weather forecast for the day and a news briefing from Fox and Reuters.

Large screen Smart TVs. Movies, TV series and real time channels are all available thru Amazon Prime and DirecTV now. Installed on all three televisions and available to You free of charge.

Open to the great room and the foyer is the office with beautiful views of the lake while clear visual to the entry door through the foyer. The stationery and printer credenza is an easy reach. There's a six Port USB hub to accommodate a laptop, pad or just charge your phones.

The main floor bedroom is decorated with an antique settee,. The bed is lavishly appointed and the armoire will accommodate your clothing. The bed is equipped with motion sensor under the bed lighting for that soft glow when stepping out in the dark. Nightstand lighting is remote controlled and dimmable. Azalea Ridge is located in a quiet neighborhood on a small cove on the north end of Lake Lanier with access to the cove from the backyard.

Main level:
There are 2 bedrooms on the main level. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and smart TV. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds. Both main-level bedrooms have direct access to the back deck. There's 1 full bath plus a half bath on the main level.

The main level living space overlooks the woods and lake with access to the deck. It has a 50 inch smart TV and a large wood-burning fireplace with plenty of seating and a dining/game table.

The deck is accessed from the main level and overlooks the woods and cove and has seating, a large dining table and a large gas grill (gas provided).

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, coffee maker (traditional drip machine), toaster, microwave, blender, cookware, serving pieces and utensils.

Terrace level:
The terrace level has a private bedroom with queen bed and smart TV, and a full bathroom with direct access. The terrace-level includes a 2nd living space with 50 inch smart TV and access to the lower patio and backyard. The laundry room is also on this level.

Loft:
The loft level has a spacious private room with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed, with a small private balcony overlooking the woods and cove. There’s also a reading nook and access to the upper level balcony overlooking the front yard.

Outdoors:
The cabin is set back from the road with very easy driveway access (not steep). There's a 2-car carport, large covered RV or boat parking and plenty of parking space on the driveway.

The cove and platform dock (1st one on the path) are accessed from the backyard. Depending on lake levels, you are welcome to dock a small boat at the dock, and there is a boat ramp (Nix Bridge Park) less than 3 miles away. Gainesville Marina offers boat rental.

The space
My 3-story home is nestled down a lush, wooded hillside. The downhill driveway provides privacy as well as a closer view and walk to the lake. The private platform dock is in plenty of water (narrow, private cove, but with steep underwater terrain) with room to tie up boats & jet skis, as well as room to play in the water with my water toys and sturdy ladder to help you out of the water. I feel like the water is fresher and cleaner up here, further north due to the Chestatee River flowing through just seconds away.

Hidden Gem is perfectly suited for remote working & remote schooling. The fast cable internet with break-time lake activities, remote work and school are a perfect life experience.

Hidden Gem lakehouse cabin is well-appointed with 3 floors providing privacy for everyone. The 4 bedrooms each have an attached bath. The layout consists of 2 bedrooms with a Jack & Jill bath on the upper floor, master bedroom with attached bath on the main floor, additional bedroom with attached bath on the lower floor. The main floor also includes the kitchen with granite countertops and a window seat/ breakfast nook, a dining area with 12 foot bench wall and large table, family room with wood burning fireplace that is open to a huge 3-sided glass sunroom, perfect for bird watching and 'Oh, the views!'. The sunroom feels like a glass treehouse that is suspended over the lake. Comfortably furnished for coffee, cocktails or a well-deserved nap, the sunroom is one of my favorite spots! The lower terrace level features a 400+ square foot bonus room including a queen bedroom with attached bath, built in bunk beds, queen bed & laundry room and outside access to a comfortable porch and views of the lake.

My lakehouse has a large covered porch, upper deck with patio table set, a grill area and several intimate outside seating areas. The 3 minute walk to the lake is a short flight of stairs through a lush selection of Mountain Laurel, Rhododendron and Azalea and then on to the 2nd dock at the end of a level path.

My private platform dock is situated close to the mouth of the cove in 'deep' water. ***Please note the dock is the 2nd and last set of steps on the path to the lake. If you love to fish, you will delight in all the bait fish you can catch right off the dock. If water sports are your thing, you will be pleased with how many toys I have around the dock. My outside areas provide plenty of places to dine, entertain, romp in the woods or just sit back and watch the lake.

Wineries, golfing, tubing, waterfalls and hiking are all within 20 minutes, north on GA400. Dahlonega, w/ great shopping & dining, are14 miles. Alpine Helen, Cleveland and Brasstown Bald are within 20-35 miles. Whatever activities you love, Hidden Gem - Chestatee is a great place to enjoy it all.
