Our work station with monitor, keyboard, and mouse are ready to plug in your laptop in case the need arises. We have high speed fiber internet access and WIFI that reaches out to the fishing deck. We have a large, screened porch with additional seating to view the lake and outdoor activities. Outside there is a 4-person hot tub and fire pit with Adirondack chairs for relaxing while taking in the views. Watching the stars at night from the hot tub is amazing experience. We have very little light pollution and the number of stars that are visible to the naked eye is awe inspiring.

We have a canoe, 2 single person kayaks and a small rowboat for use on the lake. Or you can just jump in and swim. It is so refreshing on a hot day! On the far side of the lake is a very large deck for relaxing on the waterfront or for catch and release fishing. Have a seat in the swing overlooking the lake for a peaceful spot to read. There are multiple seating areas around the lake and on the hilltop for conversation and fun!

There is so much to do in the area for the outdoor adventurer such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or rafting and tubing. Visit the apple houses in Ellijay or Blue Ridge for all the harvest delights! There are wineries, breweries and tasty restaurants for the food explorer. Taking my wife and kids out one at a time in the provided Jon boat was a real treat to hit those sweet fishing spots. What’s better than catching a 1lb bass? Watching a 10lb bass trying to steal the lure out of its mouth while you’re reeling it in! Caught it on video! My only regret is forgetting to sign the guest book before we left. But that’s okay, we’ll just sign it twice when we return because we WILL be back! Thank you for the memories."

Birch Tree Cabin is a secluded one bedroom cabin located just a few minutes from Historic downtown Ellijay. This one-level cabin (just two easy steps and parking right at your front door) is just what you need for that quiet weekend away. The master bedroom offers a queen bed with flat screen TV and DVD player and access to a very cozy screened in porch. Inside you'll find a bright interior, modern furniture, chic fixtures, and rustic decor. The updated charm throughout brings a welcoming air, making you feel like you're at home. With plenty of comfortable furniture through the home, there's always a place to sit and have a great conversation. Enjoy preparing home-cooked meals and on-the-go snacks in the full kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and all the cupboard room you'll ever need. There's two Queen-size beds to choose from, as well as a sleeper sofa. The tiled walk-in shower is perfect for washing all the campfire off after roasting marshmallows around the firepit. At the end of the day, play a board game or a round of poker up in the loft. Enjoy sipping your coffee on the covered patio in the morning watching the Georgia sunrise, listening to the beautiful sounds of nature.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Artfully renovated and nestled on a 78-acre private farm in the mountains, this charming cabin is the perfect getaway to recharge your batteries and soothe your soul. Enjoy the sounds of nature and a flowing stream from the spacious back deck. For hiking and mountain-bike enthusiasts, mountain trails, beautiful ponds, creeks, and forests are right outside your door. Stay warm (or cool) in climate-controlled comfort. Cozy up in front of a quaint, wood burning stove in a den with a large screen cable TV and WiFi. This cabin also has a fully equipped kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, pots & pans, utensils, dinnerware and limited spices); two bedrooms (one king and one queen); a spacious bathroom; and a washer and dryer.

RV hook-ups (electric only) are located adjacent to cabin for larger group gatherings. A fire pit and charcoal grill are also provided. A 6-acre stocked pond is located on the property for fishing enthusiasts.

This cabin is located just minutes from several attractions, including the restaurant’s and shops of Historic Ellijay, Georgia; Red Apple Barn, a variety of wineries, and trails for biking and hiking. Amicalola Falls and the Appalachian Trail are just a 45-minute drive and Chattanooga, Tennessee, is 65 miles northwest of this cabin hideaway.

The property is gated to ensure privacy. Dogs are welcome.

Emerson's cabin sits on a low rise with a beautiful, panoramic view of the creek and surrounding mountains. It features one bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and one full and one half bath. The kitchen is well equipped and features rustic cabinets with concrete counter tops. A Jotùl wood stove on a raised hearth adds a warm glow to the living room. Covered porches offer great spots for outside dining and entertaining.

2 Bedrooms: Both bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor.
Bedroom 1. The Buck bedroom is furnished with a plush King sized log bed & 42 Smart TV.
Bedroom 2. The Doe bedroom is also furnished with a plush King bed & a large 65 inch TV.

2 Bathrooms: Both are full sized with one downstairs & one upstairs. Easy walk in showers with hand held shower heads. We provide a roll of toilet paper, bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths shampoo and body wash in each.

Ultimate Game Room: 70” Smart TV and comfortable reclining leather love seat. Beside the love seat is a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin mattress on top. It's the perfect viewing area for sports fans and movie nights. Play Chess, professional darts, poker and even karaoke. Also included is Legends Ultimate Arcade (3600 games) and Legends Pinball. Last but not least, corn hole and horse shoes for outdoor games.

Guest access
You and your guest have complete access to the property, minus the owners closet in the Doe bedroom. You & your guest have access to the creek, but please do not cross to the far side of the creek. Please be aware and respectful at all times.

Please understand for safety reasons we do not allow children under the age of 6. We are in the woods.. so be careful of wildlife. . Please be mindful that this is our personal home. No pets allowed. We are delighted to welcome you as our guest and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.

The serene and peace you feel from the sound of the bird's & the roaring of the creek below allows you to leave the every day hustle and bustle behind. The attention to details throughout the home shows that is taken care with love. Inside the cabin you have everything you need to cook, bake & even have a fancy romantic dinner. The Game room is a place to unwind and let loose. From Mario Brothers, to paper boy, mortal kombat, ping pong, dart boards, Karaoke and movie night area you'll enjoy it for hours. The hot spa is well kept and clean. The grounds are well kept and youll enjoy just sitting by the creek on a hammock or just the rocking chairs and enjoyed peaceful time. During the day or even at night time you can have your hot tea or coffee on the wrap around porch which overlooks the property & enjoy the view of the creek.the campfires area is also well kept and you can enjoy it and make smores or just enjoyied the company your with. The beds were so comfortable & if you get lucky and it rains when you go to sleep you'll enjoy beautiful soothing rain sounds on the tin roof such a melody could not be made up. Experience the mountains of North Georgia at this full-time homestead! One of four historic cabins on our property, located just 10 minutes from Fort Mountain State Park, 25 minutes from Ellijay, and 45 minutes from Blue Ridge. Come enjoy hiking, mountain biking, local history, or simply relax by the creek that borders the property. The hosts and their dogs are happy to let you enjoy your stay in peace, or to visit and tell you more about the area!

The cabin is set on a 8 acre property, along with three other rental cabins, all original log cabins from the late 18th, early 19th century. The hosts live on the property, along with their friendly dogs. You’ll likely see them working outside, whether it be in the garden, with the chickens, or tending to the dairy goats.

On the main floor of this two story “dogtrot” cabin you’ll find a cozy living room, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. The living room has a smart TV, books, and games. The kitchen is stocked with necessities for cooking, as well as a dining table for enjoying your meals! In the full bathroom you’ll find a washer and dryer that are available for guest use.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a full sized bed, the other with a queen sized bed. There is a half bathroom located in between the two bedrooms.

There is a front deck and a back screened-in porch to this cabin! The front deck has a swing where you can enjoy looking out onto the rest of the property. The back porch allows a secluded space for more privacy. Sammy the cat may visit you while you’re outside. This cabin has its own backyard space, and in the winter you can peek through the trees and see Fort Mountain!

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:











Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1 washcloth per person listed on the guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll of paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more that this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
