- "Adorable little cabin with an amazing view." - "The cabin overall was perfect, including the driveway. Sometimes cabins in the mountains are on a steep incline that require 4 Wheel Drive to get up to, this one has a flat driveway and is located 30 minutes from everywhere. Beautiful views on the way up and in the cabin. They had everything for those nights you want to cook, with pots/pans. The kitchen is small but mighty! The hot tub worked well. And overall the cabin is well maintained! A lot of cabins I been too, you can tell the owners dont care. They just VRBO it until the house isnt profitable and sell it as a fixer-upper. The one deduction i gave is the check in process. You will need to call in advance, versus most VRBOs provide a written instructions. But it worked just as well. And we could ask questions. The Captains are super friendly, and were more than helpful after i goofed not realizing i needed to call. They were quick to respond! Highly recommend!!"

Guest Reviews:

- "The cabin is beautiful and looks recently renovated with leather furniture, granite and stainless kitchen, wood floors, and comfortable beds. The cabin was stocked with basic necessities and had a full size washer and dryer. The backyard views were breathtaking and there was a grill and hot tub. The only negatives were the bathrooms. They were roomy and the sink area looked nice. However the tubs were outdated with slight staining and there were not many towels and they were thin and worn. Also there was no dishwasher. Possibly they could put a pantry in the large utility room and make room for a dishwasher in the kitchen. A ceiling fan would also be nice in the other bedrooms. The towels for the hot tub were great and we used them as bath towels. We have owned and rented cabins, so these criticisms are meant to help. We would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat."

- "This cabin is immaculately clean. It has been built with quality right down to furnishings, appliances and the host! So close to downtown but private and quiet. I felt very safe here. This great place is so comfortable and homey. I felt at home. The extra touches they add make you feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again." - "This was cute a wonderful experience. The house and property were immaculate. The location was perfect, just 10 min to downtown. Even better the hosts were wonderful and attentive. We didn’t have very many questions. However the fact that they took the time to check in with us was above and beyond what I experienced in the past. Beds, showers and the individual heat/cooling was awesome. We raced at the Head of the Hooch so those were the things that really stood out to me (thank you water pressure)"

- "We booked this cozy cabin for 2 nights during the Longest Yard sale because of the convenience. We couldn't be happier that we did! Everything was perfect from the blackout blinds to the clawfoot tub/shower inside and the shower outside. The rope bed outside was a wonderful treat after a long day of "yard shopping". We had a thunderstorm the 2nd night and the sound of the rain on the metal roof just added to the ambiance and restful sleep. We didn't have time to explore the property or trails but we will be back. I cannot recommend this location and hosts enough!"

Everything was well thought out and intentional. It is just as resourceful as it is gorgeous and was surprisingly spacious! We stayed as a couple but we plan to bring our kids next time! Highly Recommend this property!"

Guest Reviews:

- "The cabin was as the pictures showed. Most of the historical part was low (ceilings, cabinets, counters). The property itself hosted gorgeous views but was grown up making it hard to access ponds and orchard, still beautiful none the less. Caretaker lives onsite about 200 yards from main house. We never saw him. The game room was lots of fun and if a family stayed for a week they should not get bored- pool table, darts, cards, poker table, puzzles, games, etc. The updated master’s bed is firm but memory foam (tempurpedic). The only compliant I have is one towel per guest policy, however they offer washer and dryer (outside). We saw lots of wildlife on the property. It is a good bit out of town in the mountains up steep incline, winding roads (as expected) so make sure your vehicle can navigate this. We had a great stay!"
