- "Was a very nice place" - "My wife and I stayed for the weekend to celebrate our Anniversary. It was amazing. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a quick getaway." - "This cabin was absolutely perfect for our Chattanooga trip! First off, the host was so quick in communication. I know that when a host is quick to answer, they value your time and your stay with them. We were traveling with an infant and a toddler and for the stay to have a high chair and a pack n play already there was a life saver (no one likes hauling kid equipment through an airport). The cabin was clean, spacious, and definitely a little beauty out in the woods. It was so peaceful and the perfect distance from downtown and to all the major tourist attractions. We utilized the kitchen and it was so convenient that the kitchen was stocked with most utensils and cookware! This cabin is perfect for families and was definitely perfect for us! If we come back to Chattanooga, we’ll be staying here for sure! "

- "My husband and I hosted our family vacation here and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was right on the Tennessee river as advertised and it's a great place to relax and enjoy water activities. We rented the pontoon boat and kayaks. We brought our paddle boards but they have several there to rent as well. The house is very close to town to enjoy all that's there plus Lookout Mountain is a short drive away as well. It's very close to grocery stores and Walmart if you run out of anything. I wish we had more time because there was still more we didn't get to see and do. Guess that means we'll have to go back. Just a bit of info to pass along. It wasn't an issue for us but may be to others that stay here. The bedroom downstairs doesn't have a bathroom so they will need to go to the 2nd (main) floor to use that one. The bedrooms on the 3rd floor have 2 bathrooms available. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and new appliances. The back deck has a great view of the river and we ate several meals there."

Welcome to our newly renovated & custom-built log cabin at the foot of Elder Mountain. Only 7 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga and the fast-growing Northshore. Chattanooga was home to the Iron Man in 2017 and has become an annual event space & home to of many concerts goers, river tourers, & many intellectual foodies. Enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming and much more not only in downtown but on our property too! Nestled in the little town of Lookout Valley, the cabin has its own private pond (private from public but members of our family may be there at times) and cookout area (public). We have two charcoal grills/smokers at the Cabin that are private to you and your family. Our hot tub is open year around & is right off our wrap around deck with easy house to spa access. It is especially pretty at night with the deck string lights shining on the tub! For those of you who are bringing young children, we have a kids corner that is made to feel at home. This cabin has newly purchased patio and indoor furniture and unique custom furniture built by the owner and from wood milled off the property. We can sleep anywhere from 2 to 11 and there is a large newly renovated den downstairs for games or movies. Enjoy special time with family or friends in this one-of-a-kind log cabin. Don't forget to ask about the heartwarming story behind the cabin.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS CABIN IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS. WE ARE SURROUNDED BY NATURE.
- "This home was perfect for our annual family vacation. It was close to town for sightseeing yet far enough in the country for a relaxing time. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Plenty of games and toys for the grandkids to keep them busy. We actually fished in the pond and waded in the stream. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the Chattanooga area." - "Very homey, had plenty space. We had 12 people total. The inside could use minor repairs but absolutely nothing major. There was plenty of space for the little kids to run and play. The pond was great for the bigger kids. Enjoyed the fire pit. Location was awesome. Very off the road and that’s exactly what we wanted. We didn’t notice until way after our check in that we were short on wash clothes. Text the owner and we had wash clothes brought to us within mins."

- "Four siblings (age 60+) and spouses of two plus one widow of our deceased brother came together here to visit and catch up. This house was perfect for us. We loved fishing in the pond — coached by one brother and his wife, who are, more or less, experts. No mosquitoes bothered us — maybe because of all the dragonflies on patrol! The cornhole game brought us good laughs! We shared meal prep in the kitchen and that was always a good “together-time.” Even trips to the riverfront in downtown were easy from this location. We loved this VRBO!"

No space for extra storage only bar stools to sit on. Lack of maintenance outside. Right beside a busy four lane road. Lots of traffic. I picked this site because of the pics for our 54th anniversary. I’m afraid I was disappointed by what was actually there. We had a good time and adjusted to the room. The room was clean very neat everything worked a little nosy at times. I would stay here again but only for one maybe two at most. Located on a 135-acre farm with a commanding 1/2 mile on the banks of the Tennessee River, the Main Villa at Tennessee RiverPlace is only 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga! This property is simply without compare in the Chattanooga area. Our first-time guests are always awestruck when they arrive because the home and guestrooms are much more luxurious and the property much more picturesque than they imagined possible. Come and see for yourself!
- "This was amazing. Gorgeous views and super comfortable bed. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer. Incredibly relaxing! " - "Slept poorly due to combination of a "smart" thermostat that was apparently determined to blow cold air as much as it could, and blankets that were inadequate to insulate us against the icy breeze. We ended up running the heater, even though autumn temps wouldn't need it, and the darned thermostat ran cold air whenever it wasn't heating. We were just passing through and would have sorted it out with the owners if we weren't pressed for time. Almost certainly, it would have been a fixable issue. Otherwise, the room was well furnished, including a Jacuzzi bathtub, though the sound insulation was not the best, as you might expect from an good old house that's been turned into a b&b."

- "The renovation of the location is great. New finishes with an hint to vintage flair. I enjoyed being able to park my vehicle right outside my door. I traveled alone this time but I would have loved to have friends or family with me to enjoy sitting around the fire pit or cooking a meal under the pavilion. - "The rooms are up to date however the entrance door does not seal well so there is some movement after you lock the door to secure yourself inside. The shower door kept coming off the track and would get the bathroom floor wet each time we showered. The walls separating the rooms were very thin. We could hear the neighbors conversations, coughing, and everything else (If you know what I mean). There wasn’t any propane in the tank for the firepit, there was a family staying there that had 3 kids and I’m assuming friends came to visit. Anyhow, they consumed all of the backyard amenities, left the yard games out in the rain. So needless to say we weren’t able to do any extras on the property aside from sleep and bathe. We were just thankful the room and bed was clean. This was a bucket list stay. I have now check marked my box. "

Meg is one of our delightful rustic cabins. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front with charcoal grill, shared fire pit, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature.
Meg can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests between the main bedroom and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, private washer dryer combo, & more.
Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, there awaits a space of pure relaxation, your private hot tub, with easy access to the main bedroom. Just off the deck is the shared fire pit and picnic pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.
Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom is your dedicated washer and dryer combo unit on one side and the full bathroom with bathtub on the other.
A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.
Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.
The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (guests must provide their own charcoal).
