The boat is equipped to be able to make long passages at sea in comfort, so it contains most anything you could want or need. Concierge grocery delivery prior to your arrival is also available for an additional fee by providing a list to the host to simplify your relaxing get away even further. We also offer additional services not included in the Airbnb base rate. The boat does not leave the dock without a licensed captain on at the helm. We can also do dinner or sight seeing cruises through the Tennessee river gorge with a USCG Licensed captain.
We have the ability to host small parties and gatherings for special occasions and provide catering for additional fees. Please inquire for more details. The entire boat with the exception of engineering spaces is accessible to guests. The Flybridge Area (roof top seating area) is not recommended for children under 10 years or guests that are unstable on their feet, have mobility issues, or may have trouble climbing or descending on a ladder. We offer a serene escape within our square canvas yurt, nestled on a gentle hillside amid the woods. Inside, you'll find a comfortable retreat furnished with a queen and full-size bed adorned with fresh linens, along with a table, chairs, and neatly folded towels stored in a convenient bin. Outside, soak in the tranquility at our picnic table and fire pit area, where you can enjoy activities like cornhole and grilling with a picturesque view of our grazing horses against the backdrop of Lookout Mountain. We provide all the essentials for your outdoor cooking needs, including charcoal, lighter fluid, aluminum foil, and utensils.

Venture further to our barn, where you can meet our playful baby goats and pigs. Feel free to collect farm-fresh eggs for breakfast before embarking on a scenic hike down the valley to visit our cows and forest-raised hogs. Nearby ponds offer opportunities for fishing enthusiasts.

After a day of exploration, unwind in our cast-iron tub or refresh under the open sky in our outdoor shower, offering stunning views of Lookout Mountain and the expansive blue skies above.

Important things to note:
1. This tent has electricity! A fan, coffee pot, and a power strip are provided.
2. There is no air conditioning!
3. For toilets, we have an outhouse in the same field as the circle yurts. It is about an 80-yard walk from the tent site.
4. This is a farm, so there will be many farm activities to observe.
5. There is no kitchen, but we have a grill and fire pit. We provide charcoal, lighter fluid, cooking utensils, and firewood for the fire pit.
6. Dogs are welcome. Encouraged to keep them on leash, but if you are confident they will not chase livestock, you can take them off leash. We also have a friendly livestock guardian dog, Sampson, who makes his rounds often. If your pet is not friendly, please keep them on a leash.
7. Awesome outdoor shower. It is available to all campers, not just your party.

9. If you want a farm tour, message us for pricing and time.
10. If your group has more than four people and you would like to bring additional tents, we can allow that for a fee. Please inquire.

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.

If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free check-in. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!

The Glampourous Yurt is a TENT. It is outdoors. All things put into this space were thought out and placed there on purpose to ensure that you may have the camping experience, without having to face all the hardship of being outdoors. When you enter through the tent flap you will have the bedroom, with a queen bed in front of you. This open space is home to a sitting area, table with chairs, a cast iron skillet with provided paper plates and single use utensils. The shower and tub are located outside the tent, and not currently functional. They will be complete in early June. A vault toilet is out near the shower.

This is a working farm, and these are basic tents. If you want an authentic farm getaway and to sleep in a real tent that has stunning views of the mountains, this is the place for you. We're even happy to have you help feed animals. If you don't really want to be on a farm or camp, this is probably not the place for you. The tents are not air conditioned, and while we have a great outdoor shower, the toilet is less "glamorous". There is usually internet, but we encourage you to *try* to unplug. You will have 5-star scenery, be literally feet from the farm animals we love, and have a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors... but it's not the Ritz... To put it simply, IF YOU ARE HIGH MAINTENANCE, THIS LIKELY AIN'T YOUR CUP OF TEA.

We do have a solar panel able to provide limited power for up to 8 hours.

We have a guardian Great Pyrenees who protects farm animals from coyotes. He is gentle with other dogs, but does like to play. If your dog is not friendly or doesn’t like to play, it’s probably not wise to bring your dog. We can’t put Sampson up because he has to guard the livestock.
