- "Whe. We arrived at the property the "inspector" was there finalizing. We waited for him to give us the all clear around 4pm which was perfectly fine. He did say that the hot tub was not cleaned and he would be sending someone out. After getting unloaded and starting to settled in we discovered the fireplaces did not work so we contacted the property guest line and were told they would put in a workorder. Nothing on either the fireplace issue or the hot tub happened during the first night. On our 2nd day in the afternoon someone finally came to clean the hot tub. No one ever came for the fireplaces. We had to call again on the 2nd day due to high winds displacing the grill and furniture on the porch and apparent damage to the gas line for the grill. The repair men came on the 3rd morning. We expected these amenities to be available throughout our stay. The bed in the main floor was horrible and the internet didnt stay connected. I have used Hotels.com and many rentals through VRBO and this is by far the poorest rental service we have received. Highly dissappointed in this trip..."

Small but comfortable room on 2nd story, with 1 queen size nectar adjustable bed. This room has no window to outside, (the window opens to sun room), If you are planning on spending your time in the room then this room won't be for you. Otherwise, you're here to spend time in the Mountains and need a comfortable room , this should fit your needs. 2 full baths, 1 shower on lower level, and 1 soaking tub in upper level bath, kitchen, living room, upper deck.

This is pet friendly which means 2 dogs are allowed and must be non-aggressive and crated if left in home. No other animals are allowed, and breach of these rules will result in penalties of $250 per infraction.

This property has a 110-volt hot tub, which takes longer to heat up. If we receive any calls about the hot tub not heating on the check-in date, it is likely due to the hot tub being cleaned later in the day, and the guests need to give it some extra time to heat up (at least 24 hours from check-in).

There is level parking available for two cars. You will find a Dollar General & an IGA nearby. This cabin is just 5 minutes to the Smoky Mountains, 25 minutes to Pigeon Forge, and 35 minutes to Gatlinburg. With such a great location, you're just a short drive from everything in Townsend, Wears Valley, and Pigeon Forge.

NOTES:
- The road directly before the cabin is short, but steep and one lane. Any car can make it up, but during the winter if there is snow/ice a 4WD may be required. No refunds for not being able to make it to the cabin due to weather, road conditions, etc.
- There are 44 steps to get to the front entrance of the cabin. Yes, it's a lot of steps, but nothing crazy. And just think, you'll come away from your vacation with some tone calves! lol

Guests have access to the entire home and its amenities. Enjoy the use of the hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, etc.

Make use of the WiFi and entertainment system when you're not out adventuring or the nearby hiking trails when you're looking for some fresh air.

Other things to note
SOME NOTES ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS:

- This is the mountains and cell service may be spotty
- There may be some twisty roads
- This is in the forests and mountains and you will likely see bugs, mice, or furry critters (including bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters.
- There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.

- PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.

- The cabin has city water, but can still sometimes have a minor smell or tint. This is normal. The water is drinkable.
- Cell phone service is very spotty in the area, so download the maps offline before arriving.

The community pool is run by a 3rd party and we have no control over closures, etc. that may occur. No refunds will be issued for closures of these amenities.

Fireplace is gas powered and is typically shut off between March/April and October/November.

Note: This is the mountains and WiFi and cell phone service can sometimes be spotty and lose service. If the internet does go out, try resetting the router first. We highly recommend you download maps of the area offline prior to arriving.
