The 5-mile drive on steep, narrow mountain roads takes significantly longer and can be challenging, especially with limited visibility. While we enjoyed the lodge and its beauty, we wish we had been aware of the actual distances to nearby attractions and amenities, as the seclusion makes quick trips impractical."

Here at Twin Valley Horse Ranch you can enjoy the adventure of mountain living and the peacefulness of the mountains. Avoid the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in good 'ole fashion country fun! The ranch is built mostly of trees we logged from our mountains giving it the western/rustic feel of days gone by. Cabin is made from round logs and is cozy with trees all around. Includes private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, heat/air and private cookout area. Meals are not included and must bring own bath towels and sheets ( one full bed, two twin beds, 2 futons.) .

Step out of your cabin and hike our many trails, relax on the swing listening to the night sounds and enjoying the stars, hike to the outdoor chapel ,letting the creative juices flow, walk to the barn and help with morning/evening chores. The spring fed pond is great for fishing/swimming, cooking out and roasting marshmallows around the campfire ( plenty of wood to gather) Pavilion includes table/chairs.

Take a look at this wonderful LUXURY RIVER cabin. From the great room overlooking the river to the outdoor fireplace, this cabin screams RELAX & ENJOY! From your first step inside, you will notice the attention to detail that this owner puts in to this vacation home.

The foyer and great room provide much needed space for gathering and entertaining. Comfortable furniture to cozy around the wood burning fireplace and watch movies provides easy entertainment and loads of memory making opportunities for your family. The TV in the main living room provides Comcast TV programming for your enjoyment. The TV is a smart TV where you can log in to your own TV subscriptions for more options. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you will need to provide meals for your family. There is a wine fridge, ice maker & Keurig coffee maker for your convenience.

Sleeping accommodations include a main floor king bedroom with ensuite bathroom.This bedroom also has a smart TV for guests to use. Upstairs you will find 2 more private king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one with a smart TV. All 3 full bathrooms have stand up showers. There is no bathtub in this unit.

The outdoor space at The Getaway on Little River is exquisite! From the outdoor deck furniture, hot tub and concrete river side patio & fireplace, you can spend many hours sitting and listening to the water go by. Across the river from the cabin, you will find an exceptionally large & tall rock embankment. With so many different pieces of stone, it is a work of art in itself. This crystal clear river is great for fishing and/or swimming, tubing and relaxing. It ranges from ankle deep to really deep.

For our motorcycle lovers, The Getaway on Little River is located at the end of the Tail of the Dragon. It is on a well packed gravel road with easy flat access and parking.

Fishing and swimming from the shoreline. Please be aware that access to the river is down a trail that is not suitable for all.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.

- Guests will be expected to clean up spills and messes that they make and throw all their trash in the trash can. Also, it will be the guest's responsibility to do the dishes before they leave.

- To protect the host and guest, we must verify all guests ahead of the stay. Please be aware: As a part of the verification process, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, and pass through our guest portal. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.

- Due to our close proximity to the National Park, we have a large population of insects, including ladybugs, house flies, stink bugs, millipedes, carpenter bees, and wasps. Although all of our properties are sprayed regularly by a professional pest control company, the city and park areas are not. During various times of the year, these insects may find their way into the property. By booking, you understand that is a possibility during your stay and understand that there will be no refunds related to bugs getting into the property. We will be happy to work with you to get pest control back out if necessary.

- A temporary hold of $2 will be placed on your credit card as part of our verification process and will be released within 7 days.

- The Renter is solely responsible for Renter’s actions and the actions of all family members, guests, and invitees.
- Noise audible outside the Property is prohibited between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
- Unless authorized by the Property Manager, the number of people present at the Property may not exceed the maximum occupancy indicated in the listing or the reservation for the Property.
- Check-in is from 4:00PM until 12:00AM and Check-out is before 10:00 AM.
- If you do not vacate by check-out time, you authorize us to charge a late departure fee of up to one night’s rental and we may remove all Occupants and their personal property from the Property.
- No smoking is permitted on the Property at any time.
- No animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow.
- Renter authorizes us to bill the credit card on file for the full amount of the Rental Fee at the time of booking. Renter agrees not to make chargeback claims with its credit or debit card issuer.
- Events and commercial photography or filming are prohibited at the Property without our express written permission.
- Use of the Property for any criminal activity is prohibited.
- Neither the Property Manager nor the Owner will be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including those arising from the use of any pool, hot tub, lake, or bunk bed on the property.
- Upon your arrival at the Property, you should inspect the rental unit to ensure the Property condition is to your satisfaction. If you find any conditions you need to report as unsatisfactory or damaged upon your arrival, you should report such conditions within two hours after the time you arrive at the Property. $350 pet fee (Dogs only - No Cats) to be charged before arriving. Sometimes it doesn't automatically charge at the booking. Please double check at payment. If not collected, the reservation will be cancelled at the expense of the guest. Also, we check after each guest that poop is picked up. We provide doggy bags for this purpose. If there is ANY damage you are responsible for it, no questions asked and it will be charged to your card. We have a strict policy to ensure a clean and enhanced stay for all our guests.

Very unique almost private development. Large lots so you have a ton of privacy. Located in Wears Valley, minutes away from World Renowned Blackberry Mountain. In fact, this cabin looks into Blackberry Mountain, and the entire mountain Range.

Getting Around:

All roads leading to the cabin are fully paved, but please be prepared for steep and winding sections along the way.

Once you enter the subdivision, it’s a straight drive up until you reach the property.

For your safety, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended during the winter months (December to March) due to possible snow andicyconditions.

Other Things to Note:
We have a strict policy to ensure a clean and enhanced stay for all our guests.

Please be aware that this is a property located amongst forests and mountains. Bears are common throughout the Smoky Mountains and it is best to leave them alone if they are seen from the cabin.

Firewood and charcoal are not provided.

There is also half bath right off of the main living area.

Recently upgraded with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and upgraded lighting, it combines style and functionality effortlessly. The kitchen has a bar with 3 seats and the dining area has a large dining table which seats 6 for family dinner night. This is a very private neighborhood and surrounded by nature. The home is on 1 acre, fenced. It is somewhat remote yet minutes away from Blackberry Farm, Sampsons Hollow, Townsend, Wears Valley, and the Cades Cove entrance of the National Park. This side of the Smokies offers views like no other so be sure to take a scenic drive on the Foothills Parkway.

Vehicle travel is the only way to go in this area, however there is plenty of parking for multiple cars, trucks, motorcycles or even campers. There is one driveway but it does split off and allow for more cars. There is a carport and a garage for your personal use.
