Built from REAL logs, it is a true log cabin with modern amenities. Our home has Two Master bedrooms, both with king size beds. A comfortable queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress and two pullouts serve as additional sleeping space. The cabin sleeps up to 6 adults. Enjoy the Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Enjoy Spectrum TV and free fiberoptic high speed WiFi. Soak and relax in the four person Hot Tub on the deck with the Mountain View. - "Huckleberry Lodge/ Cabin is a true home away from home and equipped with full amenities.From the comfortable furniture both upstairs and down as well as the amazing king sized beds. Small touches also made it Special. Shampoos, hand cream,and high end paper products. The thick white fluffy towels were a true bonus.Views from the porches was the best both in front and back. We relaxed outside in the mornings and of course. at early evening to watch the ELK wander. We also saw deer and a huge ground hog and many of varieties birds. It's so quiet and peaceful. we definitely did not want to leave. Camille is super about everything and called to make sure we were settled in and pleased with the cabin.There is nothing we needed that was not there. Maggie Valley is one of our most favored destinations and we plan to return next Summer to Huckleberry. We were very fortunate to have found this great place to stay. Beautiful 2018 one story 2BR/2BA cabin on 2 1/2 acres with a nice view. Completely furnished. Central heat and air, fireplace, granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances, gas grill, outdoor fire pit, internet, and Direct HDTV. The driveway is wide and there is room for a small trailer if you are up here for the Rally in the Valley or Thunder in the Smokies or if you want to enjoy some of the best ATV riding areas around.

As far as location goes you can't do any better than this. Only 1/2 mile of good gravel road takes you right to Highway 19 with close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. From there it's your choice - 4 miles to Maggie Valley; 4 miles to Water Rock Knob (highest point around with views of all the high mountain peaks; 4 miles to Black Camp Gap - where you will always see lots of Elk; 12 miles to Harrah's Casino; 15 miles to the Smoky Mountain National Park or 25 miles to Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountain Railway.

Four-wheel drive or AWD is recommended to access the area from mid to late November and throughout winter months when there is snow or ice on the roads. The gravel road to the cabin is privately maintained and is a one lane road with pull-outs to allow oncoming traffic to pass. It is recommended to drive cautiously on the gravel road to the cabin.

The mountain views are open and unobstructed. Smoky Mountain views will greet you each morning. Our cabin looks out over the beautiful Sheepback Mountain. The sound of Jonathan creek can be heard as it cascades through the valley below.
The front deck provides beautiful views and a great place to enjoy cool mornings. We have a safety gate on our front deck that allows the deck to be fully closed in, great for kids or pets. We also have a picnic table and a lighted area out front for our guests with rockers that is especially nice evenings. ( There is a switch inside the cabin that controls the lamp post lighting. It is nice to have light when you return to the cabin after a day of adventures or for late evening star gazing.
The stars glow brighter in these dark mountain skies.
Elk often meander up from the valley below, coming right up to our front deck or our picnic area. We love our 4 legged friends and our guests enjoy them too.

We love watching these Magnificent animals that have been reintroduced to these hills and valleys. There is a hill out front for building snowmen and sleds. The chalet is warm and cozy, well insulated, gas heat. The chalet offers a Relaxing place to Rest and Relax if you prefer spending time tucked away in a mountain retreat, letting the day slip away.
We have Fast, Dependable Wifi. Smart TVs. Cable and lots of Apps.
The chalet is also a great home base for those who are adventure bound.
There is a gently sloping hill out front where kids can sled in the Winter when we have fresh snow fall.
Other times parents enjoy having somewhere for children to play within eye sight of parents. Everyone, all ages, enjoy the deck and everyone enjoys the rockers and picnic table out front. The short drive to Restaurants, gas, shops and the Parkway is convenient.
We are close enough to the shops in Maggie to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy open mountain views.

For those of you who have not spent much time in the mountains, most cabins do not have curbside garbage pickup. There is a free pull through recycling center within minutes so we ask our guest to simply take their bagged trash to the center when they are headed out for the day. Trash cannot be left outside since we have too much wildlife in the area.....think bears, elk, racoons, groundhogs, turkeys, coyotes, etc. The directions to the recycle center is located in the cabin. It's just one more unique experience of mountain living. As a convenience and for those who choose not to take their own trash, the housekeeper will take it for $5 a bag.

We were greeted with a thoughtful basket with a mini waffle maker, pancake mix and syrup so we didn’t have to think about what to do for breakfast in the morning. WiFi worked great as did television ( although we only watched it for an hour). The views from the deck are stunning and the owner has bird feeders as well as bird feed so you can watch the birds. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing after a day adventuring around the mountains. Bed was comfy and bathrooms very clean. The owner has thought of everything from lint brushes to scotch tape and we felt very at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to anyone and we will definitely be back again. Enough room for everyone, 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 1 full sleeper sofa. **NOTE: The cabin is 2.6 miles from Hwy 19 into our mountain community on Hornbuckle Creek. The road is gravel (not steep) but is very well maintained by the HOA, we have provided very detailed driving directions and proper signage as GPS is not fully accurate in the mountains. It is a 15 minute drive to town. While in the winter months - driving a 4 wheel drive vehicle would be recommended, no need in other seasons. If getting away from the crowds and enjoying a remote Great Smoky Mountain experience is your thing , you will love this place! The kitchen is extremely well equipped to prepare any meal. Outside you will enjoy cooking on the gas or charcoal grill over the stream. In the beautiful cool evenings of spring and fall take the chill off watching the flames in the woodstove fireplace. Hemlock Creek Hollow is an approximate 10 minute walk from Running Bear Falls (or shorter if you follow the creek) and boasts stellar 5 star reviews.

This cabin is amazing! There is something about this cabin that makes a person relax as soon as they walk through the door. It is spacious and comfortable. Where it is located makes it easy access to Cherokee Harrah's Casino, Asheville, Cataloochee Ski Resort and horse ranch, Biltmore Estate, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and much more. It is also right next to the amazing Blue Ridge Parkway.
Maggie Valley is one of the most sought after locations because of it's mountain town feel with an abundance car, craft and motorcycle shows. It is tucked in between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Smoky Mountains. The famous Elk very frequently use the lower pasture to pass through as well as the deer. Relax on the deck and listen to the sounds of the river that flows near the cabin. Creek 'n Woods II is a Smoky Mountain vacation rental cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps 6-8 people, and is fully furnished-all you need to bring are your clothes and food. Pet friendly as well (Up to 2 dogs at $75 fee). The cabin is located on a creek (very kid friendly) in the woods. There are rocking chairs waiting for you on the L-shaped covered porch. The hot tub is on the back deck, and at the end of a full day of exploring all that there is to do in Haywood County and the surrounding areas, it's a great place to soak away the cares of the day (or the sore muscles and possible bruises from skiing or snowboarding). There is a lot to do if you choose, but it's also the perfect place to slow down and just breathe!

Night lights are in the bathroom and hall for those mid-night trips. We enjoyed watching a chick-a-dee in the tree just off the back deck. Near the end of our stay, we discovered a nest was in the decorative bird house that adorns the patio table on the deck. We made breakfast and prepared a lunch before heading out for a day of hiking or sightseeing. We cooked at the cabin a couple of nights, but also took advantage of the great variety of options for eating out; both in Maggie Valley and in nearby Waynesville. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay at Maggie Valley."

Elk Meadow Lodge is a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin with great views and just the right size for a cozy getaway or a family retreat.

The cabin can also be rented as a 3 BEDROOM in the booking process. The additional KING bedroom is $35 per night.

The cabin has 2 King Size Bedroom Suites. One on main floor and and one on second floor. There is also a loft with a Sofa and an additional TV. Both with full baths so the cabin will accommodate 4 people. Enjoy the loft for some relaxing time with a book or turn on your favorite game on the 50" wall mounted flat screen TV. Sneak to the one of the decks to rock your cares away and maybe catch an Elk grazing in the field. Bring your sweetheart or family for a tiny glimpse of paradise....Ahhh the view......

The cabin has approximately 1808 sq feet of living area, plus it has a large wrap around deck in the front, back, and side. Willow Mae's Place is a peaceful creekside cabin located in the heart of beautiful Maggie Valley. The cabin had 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and will accommodate 4 people comfortably. The cabin is approximately 650 sq feet of living space, plus a front and back porch. Always be cautious when admiring the elk, they are still wild animals and they can be dangerous. Please keep at least 75 feet away from the elk, it is very important to let them have their space and to keep them wild. Chalet is located 5 Minutes from the Entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes from Ski Resort. The cabin is 5 minutes from the heart of Maggie but far enough away to enjoy amazing Mountain views. Easy access. Fully paved road to the chalet and parking. No steep hills. Gas heat-Air conditioned. Two Queen beds in the Upstairs Loft Bedroom. Downstairs Suite has one Queen bed, half bath with a sink and toilet. Downstairs also has a second full bathroom

The space
The chalet is located 5 minutes from the center of Maggie. Close enough for convenience of but far enough away for amazing views of Sheepback Mountian. We have lots of rockers as well as a comfortable couch and two recliners. We have rockers inside, everyone loves rockers. We also have rockers outside on the deck and in front of our cabin there are rockers and a picnic table for those evenings when you want to enjoy the cool mountain breezes or gaze up at those beautiful stars peeking out over those amazing mountain views. Occassionally an elk will join you. We provide quality linens, and mattresses. The upstairs loft is private, as is the downstairs master suite.

There is a parking pad to the side of the chalet. There will be a side porch in front of you as you enter the driveway. The lock box is located on the rail of the side porch. This porch is covered for ease of entrance. The front deck is open with amazing views. Lock box number is provided once booking is confirmed. There are two keys in the lock box. Please return key to lock box upon departure.

Other things to note
We provide coffee, sweetners, tea and spices. We have smart TVs with lots of channels and apps. There is a side table in the kitchen as well as a large round table. The chalet is comfortable and has lots of little extras. There is a scrap book that has information that is helpful in planning your stay. It has maps and tidbits of information about Restaurants and activities close to the cabin. We have a full size washer and dryer, and a dishwasher. We understand that vacation time is valuable and we want your stay to be fun and relaxing. Waking up at the chalet is always relaxing. There is something wonderful about being surrounded by nature. There are a group of A-Frame chalets in this area. The views from out deck and out our front door are unobstructed and beautiful. The road to the chalet and the short lane is fully paved, no steep hills. The driveway and parking are fully paved. There is a gravel area directly in front of the chalet for extra parking or for larger trucks with a trailer. We hope you enjoy your stay and come back again. We enjoy sharing our chalet with others and it is always nice knowing others enjoy it as much as we do.
