The Morning View suite at the Country Manor Inn has a King Size bed, large, private bathroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer, and has its own private deck overlooking our private 52 acre estate and breathtaking views of the smoky mountains. The Country Manor Inn is located at the highest elevation on our property and allows guests access to our hiking trails, private fishing ponds stocked with bass and catfish (no fishing license required), picnic areas and picturesque views of our private horses grazing in the fields below.

The Upper Threshold Suite is a 2 bedroom suite located at the Country Manor Inn at Country Manor Acres. The suite has a private and very large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. The Upper Threshold Suite also has a fully equipped kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer as well as a dining table for 4 guests and all of the necessary dish ware and silver ware. The suite is one of 3 suites at our Country Manor Inn that is located at the highest elevation of our private 52 acre estate with breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains. You will have access to our private picnic areas, hiking trails, fishing pond stocked with bass and catfish (no fishing license required) as well as the picturesque setting of our private horses grazing in the fields below.

The Octagon Suite is actually more of a private suite than an apartment in the Country Manor Inn. It is designed for 2 adults but could accommodate one or two small children as well. It is well appointed with plenty of amenities and it overlooks our 52 acre private farm-style estate with rolling hills, grazing horses and private fishing.

This suite has a fully-equipped kitchen for preparing your own breakfast (or dinner), plus a large dining table for 6, a private bathroom, a seating area with sofa and 2 lounge chairs for visiting, reading or watching TV. There is free WiFi service, plus a private deck with picnic table, barbecue grill and a 4-person hot tub on the deck.

We provide all the dishes, pots and pans, sheets and linens, soaps and paper towels, coffee, filters, cream and sugar.

Guests have access to our private picnic area, our private fishing pond with a small boat, our hiking trails and our fire ring for roasting marshmallows in the evening.

This cozy charmer is only one mile to Townsend and 3 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains Park entrance. A paved concrete path leads from the designated parking space. No stairs to climb and handicap accessible.

Other things to note

Welcome to Fox Holler in the heart of Townsend, the "Peaceful Side" of the Smokies! Located just .5 miles beyond the Townsend Visitor's Center (host to many events and festivals), 5 miles to the GSMNP entrance, and minutes to the river. Only 15 miles to Cades Cove, 18 to Pigeon Forge, or 25 to Gatlinburg. Bring your bicycle to take in all the bike paths and the new Vee Hollow Mountain Bike Trail. Great local dining, breweries, and ice cream!

The space
We hope you'll enjoy this warm space, lovingly, and personally, crafted with (local) century old barn wood. Lots of custom touches were added to make the most of this cozy guest house. The kitchen should supply all your needs and is fully stocked with the essential household items. The cozy bedroom nook is fitted with a queen mattress and chest of drawers. The bedroom can be closed with the custom made barn door. Additional guests will sleep on the sofa bed. There is a full bath that includes a washer and dryer.

Start your morning sipping coffee from the front porch as you watch the mist rise over the open fields, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Spend your day riding bikes on all the local trails, swim in the river, go tubing, take a hike! Then end your day by the fire pit, listening to the symphony of night sounds.

If you like the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge you can be there in no time, but you can always come back to the "Peaceful Side".

Guest access
This is a guest house attatched to the main house. We have a wonderful full time tenant next door. Entrances, parking, and yard space are completely seperate.

Private king bedroom + living room with fireplace in Habakkuk House BnB overlooking beautiful Wild Laurel golf course in Laurel Valley, Townsend, TN —the quiet side of the Smokies. Hot breakfast served at 8:30 or 9:30. 5 minute walk to excellent swimming pool with fabulous view. Just a few minutes to Great Smoky Mountains park entrance near Cades Cove. The Fish room has en suite bathroom, Keurig, microwave, TV. Our guests are welcome to enjoy other living areas including the large screened deck.
