It features refinished 100 year old oak barn wood inside. It is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing vacation or a weekend to recharge. Peaceful location but just up the road from Pates Ford Marina & Fishlipz.

The cabin is on a dead end with a small turn around at the end of the road. Very little local traffic. Parking available (but please do not block the road).

We allow well behaved pets & responsible pet owners. We do ask that pets stay off the furniture & beds. Please utilize a crate if leaving the cabin & do not leave pets unattended, and free to roam inside the house. We charge a one time pet fee.

The cabin has queen bed in the main bedroom, another bedroom with an additional queen. The kitchen is well-equipped. The cozy living room has a 55" smart television. The screened in porch has a television as well. Outside we have a fire place and a spa, perfect for winding down after a day at the lake.

- "We loved the cabin and location. The view of the lake and the bridge was beautiful!! We were a party of five: Two teenagers and 3 adults. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for us. The loft was a little hot during the day, but I think that's the case everywhere when TN gets up to 93 degrees. They do have a cooler that helps cool it down at night, so no issues there. The kitchen is a little on the small side, but pretty functional. We loved the screen porch deck as well as the one on the main level. Overall, we had a great time in this property. We had everything we needed."

Personal Belongings: We will not be held responsible for personal items left at the cabin. Please check the cabin carefully to make sure that you have all personal belongings before you leave. We will be happy to mail you an item left behind for the cost of packaging and shipping the item.

Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Property maintenance: Please note that while we try to have the property maintained between bookings, instances occur in which the landscaper will mow the yard during your stay. He is very quick and is typically done in less than half an hour. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. If you are uncomfortable with this, please just let us know and we can try to reschedule it.

Personal Belongings: We will not be held responsible for personal items left at the cabin. Please check the cabin carefully to make sure that you have all personal belongings before you leave. We will be happy to mail you an item left behind for the cost of packaging and shipping the item.

Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Property maintenance: Please note that while we try to have the property maintained between bookings, instances occur in which the landscaper will mow the yard during your stay. He is very quick and is typically done in less than half an hour. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. If you are uncomfortable with this, please just let us know and we can try to reschedule it.

This comfy cabin nestled in the trees is perfect for a "mountain feel" retreat or a lake retreat! The colors of the trees are stunning in the fall. Plenty of room in the driveway for multiple cars and your boat! The property is located on a dead end cul de sac. Pates Ford Marina is less than 1 mile down the road where you can launch your boat or rent one. Fish Lipz Bar (seasonal/closes after a Labor Day) at the marina has a full menu, drinks, & live music on the weekends!
The cabin is fully equipped for a comfortable stay! Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed and closet for storage. Bedroom #2 has a bunk bed; full size bed on bottom and twin on top. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo with updated black fixtures. Plenty of storage under the sink and behind the mirror! A full kitchen for all your food prep plus a gas grill out on the deck overlooking the trees. Enjoy an evening out on the deck with hanging lights for ambiance. Don't worry about the bugs too much! - We have provided candles to keep them away.

Just 3 minutes from Holmes Creek Recreation Area on Center Hill Lake, you can quickly immerse yourself in outdoor activities and relaxation. Bring your kayaks!

The space
Enjoy the mountain air on one of the two decks, serenaded by the soothing sounds of the water stream flowing below the cabin. There is a full kitchen which includes Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher and Microwave. Relax in front of the fireplace and watch your favorite streaming show on the smart TV which you can log into your favorite streaming device or surf the web. The master bedroom is located downstairs going down the circular stairs into a small sitting area. This bedroom is also complete with a smart TV. The other 2 bedrooms are located upstairs and are both queen beds. The bathroom is a full tub and shower complete with towels for your stay. We do allow for pets but do charge an additional $100 pet fee on top of the standard cleaning fee which will be requested after your booking. NOTE: The property includes a spiral staircase, and your family's safety is important to us. Please keep a watchful eye on your kids to prevent accidents.

Important Driveway Notice:
Please be aware that the driveway leading to the cabin is steep and, like many gravel roads, has areas affected by washout, which may slow your travel. Low-riding vehicles are discouraged due to the risk of bottoming out. Additionally, there is no room to turn around with a towed trailer; you would need to back down the driveway to the nearest turning point.

Important Information:

ID and Verification: To comply with legal and security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, verify your contact information, and provide a valid credit card matching your ID for verification. Depending on our screening results, additional credit card verification may be required. A security deposit may be needed (excluding Airbnb guests).

Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 pets on the property, subject to a non-refundable $100 pet cleaning fee per stay.

Guest Support: Our team is available daily from 7 AM to 10 PM CT to assist with any questions.

Sleeping Capacity: The home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. All guests over 2 years old must be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will incur a fee of $50 per person, per night.

My cabin is secluded, in a rural area. It is 768 square feet & is one open room with a bathroom. It is divided into kitchen, living & bedroom areas. The back deck looks out over the wooded area. The cabin has Dish TV service and satellite WiFi service. The cabin is close to center hill lake with its many swimming options. We love this cabin and hope that you love it as much as we do. Our cabin is open to all people who will respect its uniqueness and enjoy all the property has to offer.

The space
The cabin sits back and below the road surface. The cabin is built on pilings, jutting out over the land as it falls away to the creeks below. When you look out from the back of the house or the back porch you are at tree top level. In the summer the cabin is surrounded by greenery. The creeks run at different levels based on the rain, and when they are near full you can hear the water running from the deck. There is a fire pit about half way down to the creeks and another fire pit near where 2 creeks merge into one. It takes some skill to maneuver down to the creeks since the terrain is steep, but is so worth the effort. This is a great place to work, study and unwind.

Guest access
You will have use of the entire cabin, and the large back porch. The property goes to just the other side of the creek and approximately 100 feet on either side of the cabin. I ask that you bring your own firewood and to not cut down any of the trees over the creek or on the property. I would like to keep the area as natural as possible.
I also have a number of board and card games in the cabin for guests to use. I have a number of books that guests might find interesting, such as a guide to plants and animals in the area, hiking books and guides to local waterfalls, fishing guides and history of the area.

Other things to note
There is no hunting allowed on the property and it is the renters' responsibility to obtain any or all hunting/fishing permits and to do so only in permitted areas. If you are staying for the purpose of hunting/fishing in nearby areas there is a large cutting board located under the king size bed that you can use to clean your catch. Please don't put it away until it is dry. I suggest placing on the back porch until it dries.
Also, I strongly suggest that guests use a insect repellent, such as Deep Woods Off. It is important to remember that you are in a wooded area and you want to avoid insect bites, including chigger bites. You will not realize that you have been bitten until several days later and they can be most unpleasant. Prevention will make your stay so much more enjoyable. Also I don't allow smoking in and around the cabin.

The space
Our modern cabin has 3 BR and 2 full baths with lots of stained pine and a mix of rustic and modern decor. Master has king bed there is a queen bed in other main floor bedroom. The upstairs has a queen bed in a guest bedroom There is a stained pine loft with cross walk open to below. The back has mainly forest views with a covered deck which can be used anytime and very relaxing. Cell service is good. Hi speed WiFi available.

Guest access
The back porch is mostly covered with a outdoor table a Jacuzzi Spa and a gas grill. There is a covered Car port with room for 1 vehicle. There are 2 TVs, with You Tube TV and gas log fireplace, with washer and dryer, kitchen appliances and front Porch swing. Coffee maker with kuerig or filters and other small appliances.
If you want to grill let me know so I can make sure it is ready for you.

Other things to note
There are some new homes nearby and around back but shrubs and privacy fence creates your own space. The cabin is nestled near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac drive, above beautiful Center Hill Lake. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Smithville, where there are restaurants and grocery stores, including a Walmart. It is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from the Nashville airport. On the drive to the cabin you will see some properties that are not well maintained; however, once you reach the cabin the neighborhood is very well-kept and serene.

Please note - the loft is where the two queen beds are located. It is accessed by steep stairs, and is not recommended for children or the elderly. There is a pull-out bed located on the main level.

Guest access
Each guest has private access to their individual cabin, front and back porches, and 2 parking spaces. The property can be freely roamed but please be respectful of other guest's space.

Other things to note
Our property is about 15-mins to a grocery store. We suggest going to the store before you arrive. Or don’t stress about it and arrive to a stocked fridge of locally raised grass fed beef, pork, lamb, eggs and non-homogenized milk. Contact us immediately to place your order!

Seven Springs Rules and Guidelines:

Please read below thoroughly. By booking our property, you are acknowledging your agreement to our rules and policies.

Minimum age requirement: All unsupervised guests must be 25 years of age or older.
Any guest 24 years or younger requires a 25 year or older supervisor. Please inform us of all guests who will be present. Valid photo ID may be required.

Young children: Our cabins are not child-proofed or child friendly. We have many guests staying with children, but it’s important for children to be supervised during their stay. The terrain around the cabins is beautiful but it is unsafe for unsupervised children.

Pet Policy: We have a strict no pets policy.

Extra Guests: As per original booking, extra guests that are not in your original party, must be approved beforehand. Only those in the Guest party noted when reserving the cabin may overnight in or on the property. All persons in or on the property are the sole responsibility of the Guest. No more than 2 people can sleep in the cabin unless previously authorized by the owner.

Damages: You are responsible for any damages/excessive trash that you or your guests may cause to the property. To avoid incurring additional charges, please ensure that you comply with our policies.

Personal Belongings: We will not be held responsible for personal items left at the cabin. Please check the cabin carefully to make sure that you have all personal belongings before you leave. We will be happy to mail you an item left behind for the cost of packaging and shipping the item.

Cancellation policy: Guests get a full refund if they cancel up to 5 days before check-in.

Welcome to the shAde frAme at CHL!
Walk through the front door and take in the picturesque views from the wall of windows straight ahead. Leave all your stresses at the door and exult in nature. You will find the comfortable main-floor bedroom immediately to your left upon entering the A-frame. You are sure to sleep like a dream on the brand new Lucid 10-inch memory foam mattress with 3-inch Lucid gel topper (queen size bed). A luggage rack is situated in the bedroom for your convenience, as well as a blanket basket with more cozy throw blankets. Adjust the fun zebra blinds to black-out mode to fully escape into this sanctuary. Directly across from the bedroom, you will find a beautiful black-and-white bathroom where you can refresh and rejuvenate in the luxurious, show-stopping stand-up tile shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash and lotion are all provided for your comfort. You will find towels, washcloths, Q-tips and a hairdryer in the vanity. You will also find black washcloths to remove your makeup. Gorgeous handmade sliding doors (lovingly made by my husband & oldest son) adorn both the bedroom and bathroom. Continue on down the hall to the kitchen and great room areas. Easily prepare meals in this cozy, well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy your culinary creations at the table or on the back deck while appreciating the backyard scenery. The great room provides a chill-space to play games, which are located in the basket under the coffee table, or you can stream some Netflix or pop in a DVD on the 43-inch Smart TV opposite the couch. If you would like a separate area for reading or relaxing, climb the unique rolling library ladder to the loft area for more breathtaking views. (Instructions for use of the ladder, which must be followed for safety reasons, will be included with check-in instructions.) The futon folds into a twin bed & all the linens are provided in the loft. The front balcony off the loft has seating where you will get a valley-view and some knockout sunsets. Finally, the back deck will be your favorite spot to enjoy your post-adventure cocktails. Perfect area for storytelling and fellowship. An electric grill, dining table, some unique seating and a fire pit/solo stove are sure to give guests all they need to feel right at home with the lake in the near distance. From October’ish to April-ish, enjoy the beauty of the water all the way to Hurricane Bridge and in the summer months, you can vicariously live through the sounds traveling through the trees of the boaters enjoying Center Hill Lake.

Hurricane Marina is the closest marina (about 10 minutes away) & a great place to rent a boat for your stay if you don’t bring your own. You can also rent a slip there for the weekend if you decide not to keep it parked in our driveway. All of the marinas around have delicious restaurants attached.

Thirty-five miles to Lost Creek Falls and Cave. Easy hike with a beautiful view. As my kids put it, little effort-HUGE reward! The Jungle Book was filmed here but it’s still a pretty well-kept secret so it shouldn’t be as crowded as some of the other waterfalls. Lovely waterfall & fun adventures in the cave!

Ten minutes to Canoe The Caney where you can canoe or kayak down the Caney Fork River. Such a fun adventure!

Kayaking Adventures of Tennessee also offers excursions for you to kayak to the bottom of Burgess Falls. Beautiful experience & an amazing way to see the beauty of our area!

Ten minutes to Harmony Lane Farms for baby goat cuddling & farm tours. Total therapy!

Short Mountain Distillery is only 15 miles away & they provide tours, Mixology Classes & they have a new restaurant.

The entire home is accessible to guests other than a locked door & locked cabinet in the bathroom for my supplies. Please do not try to open.

Other things to note
This is a heavily wooded area. Expect lots of wildlife. This includes bugs, snakes, bobcats, etc. Please keep doors & windows shut at all times unless you want the critters indoors with you. You will also need bug spray if you intend to spend time outdoors. But I highly recommend getting out in nature & appreciating the wildlife this area boasts!

Newly renovated from top to bottom, the Little Lake House at Center Hill Lake has everything you need for a couples' get away or small family retreat. The exterior and furnishings scream modern while the interior and rural setting says rustic. Nestled at the tip of the peninsula, during the winter months you can enjoy the lake view from virtually every room. The home is the perfect home base for exploring many waterfalls or the lake

The space
The home is 9 miles south of I-40 off of the Tennessee scenic by-way to Smithville. You’ll know you are getting close when you cross over the Hurricane Bridge - with majestic views from both sides of the car. The Little Lake House is an idyllic cozy cabin nestled in a wooded area just a quarter mile from the lake and a public boat ramp.

Guests have access to everything but the garage, locked loft space in main bedroom and the locked storage cabinet in the main bedroom closet.

Other things to note
There is not a tv in the living room. We have a tv in each bedroom.

Fireplace is ornamental - has an electric faux fire in it that crackles, emits heat, and has that fire ambiance. Do not light a fire in there!We have a fire pit and free firewood for out there.

Max two dogs that are house broken and well trained.

Absolutely no cats!

If you bring dogs, the expectation is that you follow three rules:

If they ruin something, you let us know and offer to pay for its replacement. They are not allowed on the furniture nor the beds.
Please clean up all of the hair in the house and poop outside prior to departure.

Absolutely no more than four guests unless permission has been given ahead of time. No day guests unless prior approval has been given. This is not a party place.

If you are wanting to bring a boat and park it on the property we recommend one no larger than 16 feet and no trailer wider than 8 feet. With that said, parking it will require some expertise in maneuvering tight corners. We would encourage using one of the nightly slips at Hurricane Marina. They can be rented for around $30 per night.

We are not responsible for any issues/power outages due to weather phenomenon.

Lastly, since we have a strict cancellation policy we suggest you get insurance through Airbnb. It will protect you and us.

This inviting and well-equipped two-bedroom, one-bath cabin is ideally suited for couples or small families. Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the property offers ample privacy and stunning views of Center Hill Lake.

The charming and welcoming front porch features two egg-shaped swings, ideal for taking in the scenery. To the left of the entry is a gas grill, a table for two, and a double rocker for guests to socialize while food cooks on the grill.

Inside the cabin, you’ll find a spacious living room on your left with two oversized, power recliner sofas and a 50-inch smart TV with a soundbar -- one of three smart TVs in the home. With high-speed fiber internet, streaming your favorite shows is effortless.

The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and serve meals – high-end appliances, a variety of mixing bowls, pots, pans, and baking sheets, along with all the small appliances required for from-scratch cooking. Coffee lovers can choose between drip and Keurig options. Filters for the drip coffee maker are provided, and a starter pack of K-Cups is located in the middle drawer of the corner cabinet. There’s even a milk frother for the baristas who like to elevate their coffee.

The screened porch, accessible from the living room, features an excellent daybed perfect for naps, comfortable rockers, a mini-fridge, a smart TV, and a dining table for four that can be expanded to seat eight with the table leaves stored under the king bed. Under the daybed on the porch, you'll find a giant Connect Four game and a Cornhole set for additional entertainment options.

The bathroom, located off the living room, includes a washer/dryer combo. The shower system features body jets, a rain shower head, and a handheld option. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, along with laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

The primary bedroom is a jungle-themed room with wild wallpaper, vintage furniture, two luggage racks, and a comfortable king-size bed with 100% cotton sheets. The second bedroom features a whimsical theme, a queen bed, two luggage racks, a smart TV and a walk-in closet stocked with board games. It also includes a fully electric pillow-top air mattress for extra guests and an iron and ironing board. Additionally, a yoga mat and hand weights are available there.

Guests have access to the entire home except for the owner's closet in the primary bedroom and two locked areas in the kitchen. The home sits on approximately 1.5 wooded acres, featuring numerous level, grassy areas that are perfect for outdoor play.

Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property.

Parties are also not permitted.

One dog up to 20 pounds is welcome with a $99 pet fee. Larger dogs are considered on a case by case basis. Our preference is for pets to be mostly confined to the screened porch, but we recognize that is not always possible during months with higher temperatures. We can work together to comfortably accommodate your pet's needs during your stay. Please know that any dog damage, including but not limited to scratch marks, holes in screens, chewed furniture, urine odors, excessive dirt or dog slobber, etc., will incur additional charges separate from the pet fee to clean, repair, or replace damaged items. Certified service animals of any size are always welcome at the rental.

You will have full use of the entire cabin and will be provided ample closet space for storage of your belongings.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a cabin in the woods near a very large body of water.

As a result, millipedes will be present on the lower floor during the months of Jun-Sept and ladybugs will be present on the upper floor during the months of Oct -Jan.

Neither of these nuisances will harm you as they do not sting, bite or infest food or clothing.

Unfortunately they are part of lake life as pesticides do not help. The only remedy is to sweep or vacuum.

Although all cabins on the lake deal with this issue, I maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and want to disclose this prior to your booking.

The cabin is located near the end of the road and sits on a private, wooded lot that overlooks Center Hill Lake.

The road turns to gravel the last 3/4 of a mile. The road is in great condition with no hills or washouts. You will have no issues accessing the cabin regardless of your vehicle choice.

The property includes a large driveway that can accommodate a boat trailer.

Please note that no hunting is allowed on the property.

Please note that this cabin will only accommodate FOUR people per stay.

This is a secluded cabin in the woods. This means you will enjoy total privacy.

Please, NO smoking, vaping or use of e-cigarettes inside the cabin.

You must be at least 25 years old to book a stay. This is a requirement of our insurance company.

It is also important to note that for the following reasons, the cabin is NOT suitable for infants.

This is our second home and we spend as much time here as we can. We invite you to enjoy this amazing unique home and look forward to your return trips. This historic authentic home has plenty of exposed white oak beams to maximize the spectacular views. The beautiful mountains and lake serve as a backdrop to a large deck with a pergola, outdoor seating, dining and grilling year around. Located 65 miles away from Nashville makes the location and the cabin a perfect match.

The Interior of the cabin features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a kitchen/living room open concept, cozy fireplace with a monster picture window to take in the amazing view of the lake and mountains. You can have the best of both worlds with all the comforts of home and spectacular sunrise and sunsets on the lake, just a short drive from Nashville.

The cabin has nice modern features including a modern kitchen, and wi-fi/cable/smart tv's through out the home. The dining room is set up in the beautiful sunroom, which has an amazing view and a custom hand-made table that seats 14.

The community swimming pool, exercise room and pavilion are also available for your enjoyment and is located just minutes from the cabin. Hidden Harbor Marina is just a 10 minute drive and gives you access to all lake activities including fishing, pontoon, wave runners and house boats available year around for daily rentals.

More Info about the cabin history and reconstruction:
The Sunrise Point cabin was built outside the Chattanooga area utilizing the joint method of construction indicates it was built in 1820's. The logs are of dense American white oak, which was the preferred Lumber due to its strength, durability and size.
The cabin was tagged and moved to Center Hill Lake Tennessee. A new concrete walk out basement was built to the exact specifications of the cabin. The basement is constructed of think outer layers of rigid insulation and a rebar and concrete inner core. The logs were rebuilt using a specialized cabin restoration company, the same people that dismantled it. The roof is constructed with heavy panels and there are double glazed windows throughout the home.

You will have access to the entire home. We do have several locked closets with our personal belongs. The kitchen has spices and other cooking stuff available for your use, if you use something a lot please replace.

There is a Guest book that explains many of the quirks about this home. There are 3 different gas heating areas and each one is set a little bit differently so please use the books to understand each one.

Be advised that this is a cabin in the woods. The cabin receives regular pest control but Asian ladybug beetles are now endemic in the area during the fall and winter seasons. If you book during those seasons, be prepared to come in contact with these harmless creatures inside the cabin. Most of them will be dead due to our pest control but the dust we use takes up to 24 hours to kill them once they've made it inside.

Welcome to your newly renovated cedar cowhide cabin home away from home! Prepared to relax as soon as you step inside the spacious 4 bedroom 3 full bathroom home. After an adventure pack day around Center hill lake, you would love cooking in the well-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances (double ovens) and granite countertops. Enjoy a meal together at the custom cedar log table and chairs along with seating on the cowhide barstools, before turning on the remote controlled gas fireplace. Then sink into the comfy leather cowhide couch while watching your favorite movie on a smart TV. Or step out onto your cedar deck with views of Centerhill lake below.
There is a gas grill with its own designated gas line. No need to change out propane tanks.

Sleep soundly in the primary bedroom suite with a queen size pillow top mattress. It is a 2 story master on main level with an on suite bathroom with 2 sinks and a dual high pressure walk in slate shower. The master bathroom showcases, custom-made Cowhide mirrors and reclaimed Barnwood light fixtures and a walk in closet. There is also a beautiful zebra wall mount decor. Several windows within the master bedroom have views of the lake.

Located downstairs are the three other bedrooms, along with a sitting area and TV. WatchTV on this amazing black leather couch with electric recliners. This area is perfect for family, friends, or children. The three other bedrooms are located in this area.

The second bedroom is furnished with a queen pillow top mattress, bed with its own en suite, bathroom and walk-in closet. It showcases a cedar log bed and furniture. It also has a beautiful view of the lake.

Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and is very rustic with an incredible view of the lake as well.

Bedroom 4 is super cozy with a queen bed and Cowhide furniture. All bedrooms, have blackout velvet drapes so you can enjoy sleeping in.
There is a third full bathroom on the main level.

After hanging out downstairs, walk out onto your private extended, cedar deck and get into the incredibly well jetted new hot tub. Numerous hot tub towels provided.

No need to worry about losing connection with the outside world in this remote area because there is high speed reliable, internet.

This is truly a unique experience. All furnishing and cowhide decor are Lux.

The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, cooking oil, keurig and a drip coffeemaker(coffee pods and ground provided), crockpot, blender, toaster, baking dishes, mixing bowls, numerous frying pans, food storage containers, even ziplock bags and aluminum fold. Snacks and drinks provided as well to welcome you to your new abode after a long drive.

The laundry room has navy blue new Samsung washer and dryer. It is stocked with detergent pods, dryer sheets, & OxiClean.


All 3 full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The water pressure is amazing and the water is HOT!
All 4 bedrooms are cozy with numerous plush comforters and blankets.

Each bedroom also have carbon monoxide detectors, luggage rack, mattress and bed protectors.

There is a 2 story deck with views of the lake on both levels. Top of the line hot tub that is cleaned & drained after every use. Front porch even has a view of the lake.

Other things to note
The cabin is located in a wooded area, and there are all kinds of bugs and critters that crawl, slither, and fly! This is normal in Tennessee. We try our best to keep them out, but dead bugs are an expected occurrence as we have the cabin treated for pests monthly. Stink bugs and Asian Beetles (they resemble
Lady Bugs) are very common in this area as are wasp. Please do not leave doors or windows open . They will come inside. Leaving lights on at night will attract them as well.

After using the hot tub, and once done, you must put the cover back on, otherwise, the water will evaporate and can damage the filter motor if the levels get too low.

There is access to the lake down the street from the house .7 miles that you can park two vehicles. Several people go down there and will build a little fire by the lake or just sit on the rocks and enjoy the scenery. It is a boat launch, but when the water levels are low, it is not recommended.

The Treehouse is very unique. You will not find another cabin on Center Hill Lake like it. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of our five balconies. Relax in the hot tub. Cook out on the charcoal grill we have provided or in the wonderful kitchen space. Hike down to the lake on our trail, which takes you to our own little cove! (Have a kayak? Bring it!) With Center Hill Lake being preserved & mountainous, it's almost unheard of that a house even has a trail to the lake, we got lucky!

We have several board games/decks of cards. A large sectional to watch a movie with your friends/family. Or enjoy a nice fire with our gas fire pit while star gazing.

We provide all cooking/grill utensils, Keurig coffee maker, paper plates, paper towel, & basic toiletries. Please bring your own spices, coffee for Keurig, cream/sugar, food, beverages.

The presence of any such critters does not entitle the guest to a refund. When traveling to the state of Tennessee be sure to familiarize yourself/group on what reptiles & animals will be present in the area you’re visiting.


-The trail to the lake is somewhat of a hike. It is our trail & on our property. & a 5-10 minute hike down to the water. If you're in decent physical shape this will be no problem. Our 60+ parents can do it. WEAR TENNIS SHOES. ;) With Center Hill Lake being a preserved lake & mountainous, it's almost unheard of that a house even has a trail to the lake, we got lucky! :)

- Depending on the time of year, our "beach" area in the cove, could be less visible. This obviously depends on the water level. Which we have no control over.

-The driveway is steep, please be cautious when pulling in & out and go very slow.

- We do not provide kayaks. Canoe the Caney offers rentals and trips, is only a few miles away.

- If you do not live in the state of TN it is imperative you do your own research on animals, insects, & reptiles that live in this state. Especially around bodies of water.
