We are tucked in by the beautiful hills of God's Country. There is something very special in this space between the mountains. Walk down to the Sequatchie river which runs through our homestead and enjoy what nature provides each season. In hot weather, dip your feet in the cool water or sit on the cedar swing and read a book while listening to the relaxing sound of the river. If you are looking to escape city life, have a personal retreat, or a quiet getaway, we offer a peaceful respite for rest and relaxation. We are next to the NOW-OPENED Justin P. Wilson Cumberland Trail State Park (open daily from 9-5) Also in Cumberland County, the golf capital of Tennessee, are ten championship golf courses. We are 20 minutes South of Crossville, TN, on the Cumberland Plateau which is home to the Cumberland County Playhouse, the historic homestead area, and Cumberland Mountain State Park. We are also one hour from the beautiful Fall Creek Falls State park. Other nearby waterfalls include Burgess Falls, Cummins Falls, Ozone Falls, and Rock Island State Park, among others. We are conveniently located 1 1/2 hours from Chattanooga and Knoxville. We are also 2 hours from the Great Smoky Mountains and Nashville. Our guest cottage is remote, quiet, and peaceful. Depending on the season and weather, we can offer a campfire down by the river, horse shoe pit, barbecue grill, and supervised use of the wood stove. This property located in the valley does not have cell service, although we do have free WI-FI, and if your phone has WI-FI calling, you will be able to make calls. There is no cable TV, but we do have Netflix, Pandora, and plenty of DVD's/Blue Ray movies for your enjoyment.

Our lodge was built over 75 years ago and is family owned and operated. We are a full service hunting lodge with guided hunts for wild boar, ram, goat, deer, elk and buffalo on over 2000 acres. During our slow time for hunting we offer our lodge out for rent.

The rooms are like a hotel, each room with its own private bath. We have 10 bedrooms in the lodge. We have rooms with a king, queen, double and bunk bed rooms. We can sleep 32 in all.

Do something different and come enjoy the peace and quiet of the wilderness. You are also welcome to fish in one of our three lakes during your stay with us.

We are located only two miles off I-40 (Plateau Rd, Exit 311) in Crossville TN. Crossville is the golf capital of Tennessee with over 14 golf courses with just a few minutes drive.

The cozy little cabin is located at the end of the road which is very private and secluded. Peaceful and quiet, with mountains and farmland behind. Look out over the small lake from the front porch and see the fish jumping. Look behind you for the gorgeous mountain view, cattle and horses. Comfortable double bed, futon in living will sleep one child or smaller adult, corner shower, soap, shampoo, and bathroom. Cabin has all the amenities including mini frig, ice, confection oven, microwave, toaster, coffee for the coffee maker, dishes, glasses, cups, gas for the gas grill, wood for the fire pit. Gazebo, swings, picnic area. Linens and towels provided, beach towels for the pool area. Catfish, Blue gill and Bass in the pond, catch and release. Or just relax in the paddleboat. Or relax in the 4 person hot tub which is well maintained.. Sparkling pool, bathhouse for changing and toilet, horseshoe pits and corn hole. This is like a mini resort but without the crowds. You just come for a stay and bring your food. A larger refrigerator/freezer on the premises if you need to store food. Owners meet and greet upon your arrival and are always available near by. Cabin is located 3 miles from state park, 18 miles from scenic waterfall. Recommended eating places lists are provided in cabin

Enjoy the private community of Cumberland Mountain Retreat and access to Hickory Lake. Sleeps 2 to 4 people. Peaceful mountain retreat and a fisherman's Dream! There are lots of nice big fish to catch in the lake! HUGE back deck overlooking the lake. Pets welcome. WiFi and TV. Full kitchen and laundry. Super comfy Queen sized Tempur-Pedic bed in master bedroom. Plus two Futon's for additional beds in living area.

This beautiful spacious cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed and walk-in closet. Sleeper sofa also sleeps two more. Full bathroom with soap and shampoo provided. Full kitchen with dishes, pots, silverware, etc. Starter coffee pods provided for the Keurig. Washer and dryer in the house with starter detergent provided. Towels and linens also provided.
For longer stays there will be a mandatory cleaning required every two weeks for $75 per cleaning.
Upon Check-out, please put all trash in the outside trashcan behind the entrance sign. Please load all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start before check-out. Please put all dirty linens in the basket in the laundry room. Thank you for your stay!
