Nestled along scenic Highway 197 N, this Cabin offers a great getaway! This Cabin has been decorated with custom-built furniture, custom painted artwork by Georgia artists, and many pieces from the unique nearby Black Bear Creek Antiques store, located on Highway 76 West outside of Clayton, Ga. Not withstanding the antique touches, the cabin has all the modern conveniences.

The Cabin has a HUGE stacked stone fireplace, all hardwood floors, and vaulted tongue and groove ceilings. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the gourmet chef will need to prepare meals. The cabin has two queen size beds in the bedrooms and a daybed that makes into a king size in the loft. All linens are supplied.

Located 3 miles from the world class trout fishing enterprise Brigadoon, and minutes from the spring fed Soque (so-kwee) River, which tumbles through the Appalachian foothills, this stretch of winding highway is one of the most magnificent pastoral drives in North Georgia.

The cabin is on a one acre wooded lot, private, but not isolated; just minutes from Lake Burton, where you can rent a boat, spend the day on the lake, and come home and fire up the grill for dinner on the deck. The location is great if you want to get out and enjoy the North Georgia Mountains. The Appalachian Trail is 20 minutes away, Helen is 14, and picturesque Lake Burton is a beautiful 5 mile drive to the north.

This charming cabin is conveniently located 10 to 30 minutes from all the exciting activities the Northeast Georgia Mountains has to offer. Enjoy the many hiking trails and waterfalls in the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest or Unicoi State Park. During the summer months, tubing down the Chattahoochee River is a favorite way to cool off. Hop on over to one of our local vineyards or wineries for a tour and tasting. There are private wine tour buses for hire, too! Don't miss the shopping and activities in Helen, Clarkesville, Cleveland and Dahlonega.

Tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains alongside the Chattahoochee River is the Bavarian village of Alpine Helen. This little town boasts of the longest Oktoberfest found anywhere! We really enjoyed the hot tub since the weather was way colder than usual. Good central location with many great hikes within a 30 min drive. Helen GA was too over commercialize for our taste, but loved the aurrounding areas with more mom and pop shops and restaurants. - "The home is situated on a working farm outside of Clarksville, GA. Very peaceful, pretty and private setting. Home was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Has large kitchen area open to dining and living areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms are off of these areas plus there is a loft that will sleep 2-3 people. We did not use that area and felt like it would be most comfortable for children. Owner was very prompt providing information as needed and answering questions sent via text. Overall, great experience!"

Fully updated and stocked for your stay we have two bedrooms and 2 baths where every detail has been thought of. Great for families who need a main floor bedroom with access to everything without steps you have an open floorplan kitchen, dining, and living room with a hall that leads to the main bathroom and queen bedroom. Upstairs you have a massive king suite with a full bathroom, a large picture window looking out over the seasonal mountain views, and a futon for additional sleeping for two kiddos or one extra adult.

Comfortable bedding and finishing make this upscale oasis a true relaxation paradise. But wait there is more! - "A get away from the noise. Perfect for family time!" - "The tiny house was perfect for our annual fall trip to N. GA. It rained all weekend but we were able to be comfortable and cozy in this tiny house. It helped that the Bleu Canoe restaurant was on the property and had wonderful food. The beds were so comfy. The shower was also wonderful. Those are two of my needs when I want to relax on a trip. We enjoyed a little time at the fire pit between the rain and the area was peaceful from the moment we arrive (Friday afternoon- Sunday). Will definitely add this location to my list of places to stay when hiking and visiting the area."

The cabin is located across the street from LaPrade's Marina, which offers a variety of food establishments, boat rentals, and outfitting for water sports. Everything you need is close by at the marina, whether it's fine dining at the upstairs restaurant, a sandwich from the downstairs grill, a pizza from the onsite pizzeria, or even a visit to the ice cream shop.

Natural streams flow on each side of the property. From the front porch, you can hear the sound of the rippling water.

The cabin itself is one of the original LaPrade's cabins and the interior is furnished with both contemporary and vintage pieces as well as locally-created artwork.

Overlook is a wonderful place to unwind, relax, and recharge during your next trip to the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. Come glamp with us! This 1930’s historic Fishcamp Cabin is 1 bedroom/ 1 bath and located at Bleu Canoe Campground near Lake Burton. This cabin has one queen bed, kitchenette, living room with pull out couch and a screened porch. There is a charcoal grill right outside and communal fire pits nearby. The property also boasts an onsite restaurant and bar, yard games such as corn hole, badminton and bocce and hiking trails. There are three lakes nearby with public access, hiking, wineries, whitewater rafting and more! Make sure to check out all our available cabins at our campground.

Please note our historic fish camp cabins do not have A/C. It is not usually needed in the mountains. Enjoy the fresh mountain air!

Dogwood Tiny home is one of our roomier tiny homes with large sleeping loft (ladder access), living area, kitchenette & full bath. The sleeping loft is accessed by ladder and includes a queen size Tuft and Needle mattress and Fluft Pillows. The kitchenette includes sink, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and hot plate. Basic utensils provided and it comes stocked with light breakfast items your first day. The full bath includes a walk in stone shower, small sink and toilet. This 1930’s historic Fishcamp Cabin is 2 bedroom/ 1 bath and located at Bleu Canoe Campground near Lake Burton. This cabin has two full/double beds, kitchenette, living room and screened porch. Centrally located between Helen, Clayton and Clarkesville, GA. Enjoy the convienece of a restaurant and hiking trails on property. The space
This 480 sq. ft. cabin dates back to the 1930’s and includes 2 small bedrooms with full beds, 1 bath, living room, and a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is also a spacious screened porch, parking, and charcoal camp grill. The cabin is large enough to sleep 4.

Relax and disconnect our cabins do not offer TV or WiFi, we wish to give our guests an authentic fish camp experience people enjoyed in the past. Most guests are surprised to find how happy they are not to have to worry about checking their phone 24/7! For guests that require Internet access there is Wi-Fi available in designated areas near the restaurant.

Please note this historic cabin has no A/C or central heat, with average July/August temps of 86 F high/ 65 F low there is rarely a need A/C! Currently there are safe oil space heaters in the bedrooms that keep the cabin warm in winter.

Super-private, Palm Lake Cottage (PLC), nestled in the Smokey Mountain foothills, provides a super-comfortable, countryside environment with beautiful pastures/woods views, a secure, private fenced backyard, walking/hiking trails in 10+ acre pastures & 40+ acre woods. Closest neighbor; over 600' away. Deer & wildlife abound. Easy access to private 3-acre, spring-fed lake for fishing, swimming, boating. Memory-foam mattresses, Egyptian cotton.

The space
Palm Lake Cottage is our guest house. It's set up as a super-comfortable retreat for our out-of-town friends and is shared with AirBnb & VRBO guests when available. PLC is located in the rolling hills of northern Habersham County, in between two mountain ranges. Constructed in 1942, and updated in 1996, 2017, 2022, 2024.
There's a secure, fenced back yard with a covered kennel. Pets are welcome and allowed indoors (but not on furniture or beds.) 10-acres of prime pasture, two stalls and more than a mile of riding trails, if you wish to bring your horses. (Please inquire as to equine policies and fees.) There is adequate parking for several cars or even an RV.
Two HDTVs provide Netflix, Hulu, HBO+, Paramount+, 500+Mbs fiber Internet and high-speed WiFi access.
PLC is optimized for up to 4-guests. There is an additional $20/day fee for each guest exceeding two. PLC provides two bedrooms, one with private bath. King & queen memory-foam beds w/ 800+ct Egyptian cotton sheets and down and foam pillows. Additional accommodations via queen-sized inflatable can be arranged. if required.
Two full baths with rain-head showers; one with a shower/tub combo. Fluffy 100% Turkish cotton towels & bath robes.
Gas range, full-size frig, & air fryer. Stainless cookware and utensils. Complete service for 8+. (No microwave; but you can bring your own.) Excellent water! Cleaning Policy: The Cottage is our guest house. We strive to provide a pristine environment for our friends, family and guests. Our cleaning crew is very conscientious and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. We allocate 4-hours to completely clean and refresh the Cottage. We only charge $100 for this service. This includes: whole house vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wash/dry all used bedding and towels, clean, sanitize, and restock the bathrooms and kitchen. Normally, a complete turn can be completed by two personnel in just under 4-hours. However, if you and/or your pets leave the Cottage in a state which requires additional cleaning to restore the Cottage to its original default state, you will be charged for the additional time required at the rate of $50 per hour, with a $100 minimum. If pet hair is found on the furniture or bedding, considerable time is required to wash/dry/rewash/dry to achieve the required results. If the floors or baths are excessively dirty and require more than one pass, you will be charged appropriately, with a $100 minimum. If bedding, towels, furniture, floors or walls are stained beyond normal cleaning, you will be charged for additional cleaning, replacement or repairs. Vacuums and cleaning supplies are provided in the hall closet and laundry room, if required.

PLC is very private, yet conveniently located near civilization and central to area attractions. Clarkesville is 5-miles away with excellent dining and shopping. Several 4+ Star restaurants are close by; farm-to-table, and authentic Southern-cooking, as well. Cornelia: 11-miles south. Cleveland: 11-miles West. Clayton: 20-miles north, Helen: 20-miles west. Lakes Rabun, Seed, Burton, and Hartwell; all less than 17-miles away. Tallulah Gorge State Park: 12-miles away. Several nearby public parks and waterfalls (20-minutes,) rafting (30-minutes), Chattahoochee National Forest (15-miles). PLC provides access to our private, stocked, 3-acre, spring-fed lake (1000' away) for fishing, boating and swimming. It's just across the pasture. The cattle are friendly, though sometimes curious. Bring your fishing gear. Two kayaks and two SUPs provided. (The current record is 350+ fish caught in 6-hours. (Catch & Release unless prior arrangements are made.) You have access to over a mile of hiking trails throughout our 50+ acre estate. Enjoy watching our cows and deer graze in the pasture almost every evening. Enjoy the Milky Way on a clear night... very little light pollution. Palm Lake Cottage offers guests a true destination/resort location. While there are many attractions nearby, you may never want to leave the property.

Other things to note
Palm Lake Cottage is dog heaven! Being "dog people" ourselves, we fully understand the challenge of traveling with pets.... and the challenge of leaving them with a boarder. PLC is very pet-friendly. The backyard is completely enclosed with a secure, 4'+ chain-link fence. There is also a covered, 6' tall chain-link kennel with a concrete floor in the backyard. Your pets are also welcome indoors, though not on the beds or furniture. (Additional $200 fee will be levied if pet hair is found on the beds or furniture) Elevated dog bed provided. Palm Lake offers excellent swimming... for both man & beast, plus lots of hiking trails throughout the property. We recommend pets stay on a leash when not in a secure area, lest they run off chasing one of the many deer or our free-range chickens. Bring your furry friends! They'll love Palm Lake Farm! However, if your pets are unruly or aggressive toward other dogs/people/animals, please leave them at home or keep them in the fenced area.
We offer a 10% discount for our return guests who take good care of the Cottage and leave it nice.

This charming cabin is conveniently located 10 to 30 minutes from all the exciting activities the Northeast Georgia Mountains has to offer. Enjoy the many hiking trails and waterfalls in the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest or Unicoi State Park. During the summer months, tubing down the Chattahoochee River is a favorite way to cool off. Hop on over to one of our local vineyards or wineries for a tour and tasting. There are private wine tour buses for hire, too! Don't miss the shopping and activities in Helen, Clarkesville, Cleveland and Dahlonega.

Tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains alongside the Chattahoochee River is the Bavarian village of Alpine Helen. This little town boasts of the longest Oktoberfest found anywhere! The numerous restaurants in Helen offer a variety of cuisines from around the world. Some of our favorites are the Nacoochee Village Tavern and Pizzeria, Cowboys and Angels, Spice 55, Bangkok Haus and Bigg Daddy's. There are a great many German restaurants, too! Try the Heidelberg for Schnitzel, the Haufbrau Haus for Goulash or Bodensee for Sauerbraten.

Black Bear Bungalow is a cozy getaway cabin perfect for three couples with a bedroom and bath located on each of the three floors. This cabin provides the perfect backdrop for your memory making stay with Georgia Mountain Rentals. Whether you are hanging out on one of the porches, gathering round the outdoor fire pit, or cozying up in front of the indoor fireplace, this cabin offers plenty of space for rest and relaxation. Enjoy the sounds and sites of nature that surrounds the place.

On the ground floor is a guest suite with sitting area, a queen bed, television, a bath with a walk-in shower and a laundry room. Just outside the guest suite door sits a brand new round hot tub that is big enough for 5 guests. It's time for rest and relaxation!

The main floor features the living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a leather couch and chairs, the dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with full size appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove top and oven. There is also a microwave, toaster, blender, and Keurig coffee maker. The cabinets are filled with all the dinnerware and cookware you will need to prepare meals at the cabin. There's cooking utensils and flatware, too. Located just off the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Upstairs is a loft bedroom with a queen bed, dressing area and bath. This bath also features a walk-in shower.

The cabin doesn't skimp on freebies, either! There is free WiFi, free parking at your front door, free YouTube TV to watch all your favorite shows, movies and sports.

This cabin is not pet friendly. There is a security camera on the front porch of the property.

Although Overlook cabin has no lake access, guests can use either of two nearby marinas to store boats, rent boats or fish at Moccasin Creek State Park. Guests will need to have a Georgia fishing license. Contact La Prades Marina for launching and overnight boat slip information. Launch fees are $5 per day. To leave a boat on a trailer at La Prades there is a cost of $10 daily or the cost of an overnight slip is $25 nightly. The Overlook cabin is 10 minutes (4 miles) from LaPrade's Marina.

This newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin has been lovingly restored with all new appliances. Stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher & large kitchen sink. Bar with 2 stools in kitchen for casual dining or outside dining on deck with table and 6 chairs.
The living room has a fireplace with remote controlled gas logs for winter use and TV for cozy evenings in the cabin. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms have TVs and ceiling fans. The owner has provided a stackable washer & dryer for guests.

If you're up for some fishing, you don't need to step more than a few paces from your door for trout in the creek, (but please note that a fishing license and separate trout license required). If you travel a bit further down West Wildcat Road, you'll see many waterfalls along the way, and just a half-mile from the cabin is Sliding Rock, a favorite local spot in the summer. You'll also be just a mile-and-a-half from beautiful Lake Burton with its freshwater fishing and boat rentals and docks.

The space
The cabin is located across the street from LaPrade's Marina, which offers a variety of food establishments, boat rentals, and outfitting for water sports. Everything you need is close by at the marina, whether it's fine dining at the upstairs restaurant, a sandwich from the downstairs grill, a pizza from the onsite pizzeria, or even a visit to the ice cream shop.

Natural streams flow on each side of the property. From the front porch, you can hear the sound of the rippling water.

The cabin itself is one of the original LaPrade's cabins and the interior is furnished with both contemporary and vintage pieces as well as locally-created artwork.

Robert's family owned LaPrades from 1972-2002. In 2010, we converted the head farmer's house on the property into our welcoming, beautiful get-away cabin. We cherish our time there and feel confident you will, too!!

This property has gorgeous Fall foliage and blooming plants in the Spring that make this a true Mountain Oasis Getaway! Your cabin is located at the top of a hill -- VERY private and secluded for a family getaway or couples romantic retreat! There are so many features that will make this your forever vacation spot.

Your charming log cabin has a classic "outdoor rustic" feel with plenty of covered parking in the carport. Pull right to the door for easy unloading! You are greeted as you walk through the door to an open floor plan kitchen, dining, and living room with fantastic views of the mountains from the living room! The open kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking gourmet meals while still being a part of the fun and entertainment in the living room space. There's room for 6 at the dining table, and two seats at the bar top with plenty of tableware for everyone! There's two large, comfy leather couches in the living room with a big screen SMART TV for you to watch and keep up with all your shows and sports.

PRIMARY KING BEDROOM:
The main floor has a half bath and laundry facility as well as your primary king-bedroom suite. There's a large, comfy king bed with TV in the room and an en-suite bathroom with a custom river rock shower for two. The Lazy Bear has plenty of linens for both showers and the Hot Tub! The best part is walking right out of your bedroom and onto the covered balcony where you can enjoy those amazing mountain views!

QUEEN BEDROOM / TWIN BEDROOM:
Going up the handmade wooden spiral staircase, you have a loft with another two bedrooms and a shared full bathroom with a cozy reading area to enjoy your favorite books. The first guest bedroom has two twin beds for single sleepers or kids, and the second guest bedroom has a queen bed. There is a shared full bathroom in the loft for upstairs guests.

On the back-covered deck, you’ll discover a fantastic year-round mountain view – the whole reason people make the trek to the beautiful Georgia Mountains!
