This Fishing Cabin is a Tiny Log Home and very spacious for 4 people. Come to Bass Cove, a enclave of Lake Keowee. Come and stay in this rustic log cabin with all the conveniences you need for having a relaxing and restful but adventurous stay. This unit is new to the Lake Keowee market and is close to boat ramps and shopping. There is a Dollar General within 8 minutes and a wine and beer ABC store next door. The section of the lake is not accessible by boat from the main lake.
- "The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway." - "This cabin was a great place to stay and the perfect size for the four of us. Modern yet rustic and very clean. Quiet area, but not far from restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Be sure to say hi to "Mango" -- the neighbor's calico cat. She is very sweet and spent a lot of time with us while we were outside. The internet speed out that way is pretty slow, but still useful. Truthfully, not the worst thing given it was a getaway trip for us. The access to the lake is great. It was easy getting in and out of the water. The cove is very peaceful and cutoff from the main lake aside from the culvert pipe that connects the waters. The walk down to the shoreline is nice, thanks to a wide, heavily mulched pathway. The walk back up to the house is a good hike, as it is about a 30 foot change in elevation between the cabin and the lake shore. It is not difficult, but also may not be for everyone. Overall, we would stay here again. It was easy to find, instructions were simple, and it has a great feel without being too far from the day-to-day conveniences."

This place is Quaint, peaceful, and serene, but only 10-15 minutes from lots of great adventure at the lakes as well as great food options. My son was absolutely in love with the bunk room and I think I took the best "deck chair nap" of my life with the sounds of the water in the background. - "My husband and I stayed 2 nights due to a family funeral. It was so close to our family! We couldn’t believe how much attention to detail was given. There was shampoo and body wash in the shower. Extra trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and even coffee in the freezer. Using the kayaks and fire pit was a plus! And the place was immaculate, peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend it!" - "The cabin was beautiful! Everything you needed was there. Linens, dishes, pots and pans. Tons of paper products and cleaning supplies. We would like to visit again! Shopping was close and surrounding towns were lovely!"

- "It is hard to adequately describe in words how wonderful our family experience was in this beautiful home. The place was immaculate, clean, and stocked with all peripheral supplies one would need while on vacation. I did have a question for the host (user-error about the pontoon boat)..Rick (owner) was incredibly responsive and resolved my issue immediately. Highly recommend this property that is set in almost a fairy tale setting on the lake. "

Oconee County has many beautiful waterfalls & hiking trails. We are close to Clemson, Lake Keowee, Lake Hartwell & Lake Jocassee and located just inside Sumter National Forest.
An AMAZING ROMANTIC GETAWAY for HONEYMOONS, ANNIVERSARIES & BIRTHDAYS!
Although we love pets and kids we are a couples only retreat and don't allow kids due to the high decks. We don't allow pets because some people have pet allergies and we can't keep everything super clean if we allow furry friends.
Our romantic little house in the trees is tucked away on a hillside and nestled in the woods for privacy. It sleeps 2 people. Our beautiful king-size custom built bed is dressed with soft comfy cotton linens and warm blankets. The dark dramatic theme makes this a dreamy and romantic space. Over the bed is a stunning Moravian Star. The french doors from the sleeping area leads to an east facing deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings in the treetops. Below the treehouse is a beautiful cascading waterfall feature that provides a soothing oasis to relax by.
For your comfort we have a mini split HVAC unit. There is also a small tower fan for those you who can’t sleep without a fan, like me.
Inside the cozy sitting area has a small dining table for 2 and small loveseat for relaxing and kicking your feet up.
The KITCHENETTE has a mini fridge, microwave and a toaster. The wake up station is stocked with a french press, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder and an electric water kettle. We provide whole bean coffee, ground coffee, flavored teas along with cream and sugar and sugar substitutes. You'll find plates, bowls, coffee cups, glasses, flatware and glass stemware and of course wine & bottle openers. If you prefer to paper plates and plastic utensils we have those too. We leave a couple breakfast bars, 2 fresh bakery muffins, juice and water. These are for you and there is no extra charge so please enjoy.
For OUTDOOR COOKING there is a tabletop Weber electric grill and an electric griddle for outdoor cooking on the lower deck. We have grilling utensils, spices, foil, and cooking oil. All cooking must be done outside as there is very limited counter space indoors.
There is an outdoor dining spaces with bistro table and chairs.
The indoor bathroom has a huge WALK-IN SHOWER with natural fossil stone tile and a river rock floor. We have a standard traditional potty just like you have at home, yes people ask about the toilet. Soap, shampoo, hairdryer and all towels and linens are provided, just bring your toothbrush. There’s a spacious closet with a bench off the bathroom for luggage.
On the downstairs deck you can relax in the 2 rocking chairs or hang out on the lounging furniture.
We have an awesome firepit with seating. You can find all the firewood you need at the woodshed and a little basket of goodies to make S'mores.
Check out our basket of games, playing cards.
WILDLIFE: We are located in a wooded area. We don’t usually have a problem with any wild animals. We also don’t want to attract any so don’t leave food or trash outside, especially at night.
We look forward to hosting your romantic getaway!
