We have been renting our home since 2013 with overwhelmingly 5-star reviews. The reviews have frequently commented on the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort of the beds and furniture. The 3-story layout allows for private sleeping or hanging out areas, but also a large great room for all to gather together. Our renters especially comment on our covered deck as their favorite hangout.

We have a covered dock to keep your boat protected from rain and sun, which is just a few easy steps from the house. Many houses on the lake have a very steep and or long walk to the lake. Our house is about 50 steps from the lake with a very easy grade.

Another nice feature of our house is the cove that we sit in. It is wide and deep enough for comfortable floating and swimming but does not get fast boat traffic and waves like other homes on the bigger parts of the lake.
We also have 4 kayaks available for our renters to use.

We spend a lot of time and effort to keep our house maintained, clean and updated. If you choose, we think you will be extremely happy with your stay.

This beautiful waterfront home on Lake Keowee is a great place for a family vacation. The home features top of the line appliances, quartz counter-tops and all the latest upgrades. The home has four bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom has two queens, and their is also a private alcove with twin bunk beds for kids. On the main floor we have two large firplaces with gas logs. On the patio, we have a fire pit which is perfect for toasting marshmallows.
The home is located on the southern end of Lake Keowee in an upscale neighborhood consisting of million dollar homes. This neighborhood consists of just 26 properties and is surrounded by 32 acres of conservatory land owned by the neighborhood. The majority of the neighbors live there year round so the HOA has a QUIET TIME beginning at 10:00 pm and NO PARKING ON THE STREET, GRASS, or CUL DE SAC.
At the lake, we have an over-sized covered boat deck and deep water (15 + feet) all year long. On the shore, we also have a 10 by 20 foot deck area that remains shaded most of the day. For fun we have four kayaks, a foosball table, a ping pong table, and 50 inch large screen TV. There is a second TV above the fireplace in the family room.
Things to do within five minutes of the house: minature golf, go cart racing, batting cages, spa treatments, antiquing, and ice cream.
Things to do within ten minutes: medical facilities in downtown Seneca, at least twenty great restaurants including Italian, Greek, Japanese, Mexican, steakhouses, barbeque, and pizza. At lease three great antiques malls, flea markets and shopping centers.
Golfing at three local country clubs. Clemson offers additional shopping, eating, and recreational opportunities.
Things to do within 30 minutes: Heading north and/or west will bring you into the wilderness of the Appalachian mountain area which offers a wide range of recreational activities including hiking, waterfalls, fly fishing, rafting, and kayaking on the Chattouga River, apple picking, zip lines, horse back riding and many more activities. We are a family-owned business that strives to help create a memorable experience for our guests. The moment you step inside The Farmhouse you will notice the attention to detail. From the décor to the long list of amenities, you will quickly realize how unique our Lit’l Bit O’ Heaven is.

The Farmhouse sleeps 6. It has one private bedroom with a comfy king-size bed. There are two single beds in the loft and a full-size pull-out sofa bed in the living room. We also provide a portable crib upon request. It has a full kitchen, full-size tub with shower, washer & dryer. A 26ft private covered porch with seating and a wooded view.

Enjoy a cup of locally roasted coffee or tea in the morning on your covered porch looking out into the woods, maybe spot a deer passing by or hear the distant sound of a train whistle and the breeze rustling through the trees.

After breakfast, grab one of our maps and head out to explore the several hiking trails, the 9-mile Palmetto mountain bike trail, waterfalls, lakes, antique shops, arts and, crafts fairs, or festivals. Maybe play a round of golf, go whitewater rafting or attend a Clemson game, all within a 10-30 minute drive. Snow tubing and skiing are about an hour away. There is always something to do here each season.

Oconee County boasts four lakes with 90,000 acres of water, two rivers, over 160 waterfalls, and endless park acreage to explore. Hiking, fishing, boating, diving, paddle boarding, and whitewater rafting are just a few of the activities you can enjoy.

In the evening you can savor a meal at a local restaurant, attend a play at one of our theaters, relax and enjoy live music at a street festival, craft beer pub, or wine bar. If you are too tired from your active day to go out, then you can head back to The Farmhouse and prepare dinner in the well-appointed kitchen or on the charcoal grill, pick vegetables from our seasonal garden for a fresh salad, pop a movie in the Blu-ray player, challenge someone to a board game, or build a fire in the fire ring, make some s’mores and sit back and relax.

Don’t forget about Travelers Gameroom and Brew Barn, located close to the cabins. This is a shared space where you will choose your breakfast supplies to take back to your cabin and prepare in the morning. See below for a complete list of amenities that the game room offers.

All linens, paper goods, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and homemade soap are supplied.

There is Wi-Fi in each cabin and a 42” Roku smart TV with YouTube TV cable package that includes several local channels, shows, and movies. There is also a DVD/Blu-ray player and board games.

We believe in supporting our local economy by purchasing local products when suitable. Environmental sustainability is also important to us therefore several of our furnishings are handmade by local artisans or have been upcycled by us.

Each cabin has a full kitchen including a stove with oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher (with dish tabs), coffee maker, crock pot, cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, and silverware. We provide a blender upon request.

What makes us unique?

• Each cabin has a full-size kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve a meal. There are frosted mugs and an ice maker in the freezer. There is a crockpot in each cabin and a blender to use upon request. Items that are stocked in your cabin include locally roasted coffee and local honey, tea, hot cocoa, creamer, butter,
cooking spray, cinnamon, sugar, jelly, salt/pepper, and sweet n low.

• Breakfast is included with your stay. Travelers Game Room and Brew Barn is a shared space close to the cabins. Here we stock your breakfast supplies. Normal choices are oatmeal, grits, pancake mix, frozen waffles, syrup, English muffins, eggs, sausage, biscuits, orange juice, and apple juice. When available we also stock fresh fruit, baked goods, pineapple juice, and cinnamon rolls. There is a Keurig with pods (coffee, tea, and cocoa), and a few take-and-go items like pop-tarts and granola bars.

• Travelers Game Room and Brew Barn is a shared space and is always open. It has an outdoor patio with seating and a firepit (shared), inside seating with books, board games, puzzles, PacMan, Foosball, AT games arcade legends with 300 games, vintage picnic baskets stocked with paper supplies (cups, plates, napkins, and eating utensils), several outdoor games, and a swing set for younger children under 110lbs.

Great location - grocery store is only 13 mins away We enjoyed swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, fishing, making SMORES around the fire pit and just relaxing and spending time together as a family. The owner was super helpful with information about the area and made sure that he presented us with codes and addresses in perfect time of our arrival. Not to mention, he took care of handling storage arrangements for both of our trailers. This is one place that you will not regret booking!"

Hear the wind rustling in the trees and feel the warmth of the fire on your face.

Before falling asleep by the cozy fire, head on into the cabin and slide into the comfortable King size bed for a great night’s sleep. Tomorrow is another day to explore.

Don’t forget about Travelers Gameroom and Brew Barn, located close to the cabins. This is a shared space where you will choose your breakfast supplies to take back to your cabin and prepare in the morning. See below for a complete list of amenities that the game room offers.

All linens, paper goods, travel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and homemade soap are supplied.

There is Wi-Fi in each cabin and a 42” Roku smart TV with YouTube TV cable package that includes several local channels, shows, and movies. There is also a DVD/Blu-ray player and board games.

We believe in supporting our local economy by purchasing local products when suitable. Environmental sustainability is also important to us therefore several of our furnishings are handmade by local artisans or have been upcycled by us.

Each cabin has a full kitchen including a stove with oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher (with dish tabs), coffee maker, crock pot, cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, and silverware. We provide a blender upon request.

What makes us unique?

• Each cabin has a full-size kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve a meal. There are frosted mugs and an ice maker in the freezer. There is a crockpot in each cabin and a blender to use upon request. Items that are stocked in your cabin include locally roasted coffee and local honey, tea, hot cocoa, creamer, butter,
cooking spray, cinnamon, sugar, jelly, salt/pepper, and sweet n low.

• Breakfast is included with your stay. Travelers Game Room and Brew Barn is a shared space close to the cabins. Here we stock your breakfast supplies. Normal choices are oatmeal, grits, pancake mix, frozen waffles, syrup, English muffins, eggs, sausage, biscuits, orange juice, and apple juice. When available we also stock fresh fruit, baked goods, pineapple juice, and cinnamon rolls. There is a Keurig with pods (coffee, tea, and cocoa), and a few take-and-go items like pop-tarts and granola bars.

• Travelers Game Room and Brew Barn is a shared space and is always open. It has an outdoor patio with seating and a firepit (shared), inside seating with books, board games, puzzles, PacMan, Foosball, AT games arcade legends with 300 games, vintage picnic baskets stocked with paper supplies (cups, plates, napkins, and eating utensils), several outdoor games, and a swing set for younger children under 110lbs.

This charming renovated mill house features 3 comfortable bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, spacious back yard. We have included amenities for our younger guests, including baby and toddler items and toys; we would love to know the ages of any children staying so we can personalize the experience!

Home is a few feet from a paved walking/bike trail leading straight to downtown activities, including local restaurants/ coffee shops, boutiques, museums, parks and the Walhalla Performing Arts Center. From the house to the opposite end of downtown is approximately a 1 mile walk.

High falls and South Cove parks are a 15 minute drive away, each offering beaches to lounge and swim our Lake Keowee waters, hiking trails, tennis & volleyball courts and putt-putt. Also a short drive are the famous Stumphouse Tunnel and many other hiking trails with waterfalls. (Hiking guide book included!)

Other popular locations close by are Clemson (30 mins), Seneca (15 mins), Westminster (15 mins), the Highlands (30 mins).

Our newly renovated early 1900s home in Walhalla is affectionately called the Yellow Quilt. It accommodates a larger family perfectly with a master suite (king bed), and two bedrooms upstairs (two queens). We are conveniently located a few blocks from downtown Walhalla, 20 minutes from Clemson, 15 minutes from Seneca, and 40 minutes to Cashiers. We are a short drive to several hiking and biking trails. The space
This newly renovated early 1900s home in Walhalla is the perfect cozy space for you and your family. Our home is affectionately called the Yellow Quilt because it is a cute yellow mill house on the foothills quilt trail. On the side of the house you will see The Cotton Boll Quilt which honors John and Rachel McGuffin as well as the other textile workers and the history of the textile industry in Oconee County. The textile industry in Walhalla allowed many to care for their families and to improve their quality of life. It was the previous owner's hope that this quilt would remain a reminder of what was an important and vital part of the history of South Carolina. We love sharing this 100 year old house to continue the legacy that the previous family wanted for the town of Walhalla.

Our house offers 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths, a cozy back porch, front porch, and laundry area. The living space has a smart TV and WiFi for streaming your favorite shows and movies.
The kitchen has been updated with all new appliances and cabinetry. You will have a coffee bar, flatware, dishes, pots and pans, wine glasses, cups, knives, and a few spices.
You can use the sidewalk to access downtown Walhalla (4 blocks on rolling hills) which provides wonderful coffee shops, wine shop, and amazing dinners and restaurants including one of our favorite pizza joints! Gas stations and Ingles are 5 minutes away.

Nearby you can enjoy Clemson university, Lake Keowee, Lake Hartwell, Lake Jocassee, Cashers, and Highlands. Hiking trails are just a short 10 minute drive, including Yellow Branch Falls and Stumphouse tunnel.

This is a large, older home with plenty of space! Inside you'll find 10 foot ceilings and an open floor plan, great for entertaining. While this home has been updated, its original charm of hardwood flooring, bead board ceilings and millwork remain intact. You'll also find 2 spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The kids will have their own space as well, with a half bath close by.

Hiking boots on, fishing poles loaded and a short canoe trip down the river lands you in one of our two 850 square foot LOFTS OVER MAIN for a restful evening to embrace tranquility. Our lofts create the nostalgia you'd expect in a shop-keepers quarters ranging from exposed brick walls, vintage furniture and romantic chandeliers. The custom cabinetry frames a modern kitchen, containing elegant stainless steel appliances and vintage tables.
The 15-foot tall ceilings are accented with rustic stained wood boards and give the perfect accent to the original wooden floors from the late 1800's building. The adjustable lighting in the Lofts cast off a romantic glow to be tailored for your perfect evening. Keeping the original wood flooring, you can almost hear the shop keepers' as they are coming home from their day of work from Main Street below.

Each Loft has its own sophisticated style, including our custom designed showers. You will experience 5-star comfort on our luxurious mattresses, lavished with down bedding and sheets suitable for a king and his queen on your journey to a deep night's sleep. Entering into the Walhalla STUDIO of the Lofts Over Main, stroll down memory lane of scenes of historic Walhalla from the early 1900's. Decor lends itself to adventurers' oasis, also complete with authentic, local memorabilia.

The Space:
LOFTS OVER MAIN are 2 private studio condos that are connected via a shared storage room that isn't accessible to guests. Guests must access via single entry stairs to 2nd floor above Main Street.

Whether looking to hike waterfalls, catch a concert or curl up and dine-in to escape the world, The Residences on Main- Issaqueena Suite is a beautiful, spacious loft style suite is located in the heart of downtown Walhalla. The 2nd story Main Street Suite is complete with a modern kitchen fully equipped for gourmet meal prep, and a large butcher block dining table and an antique Farmhouse Drainboard Sink dated back to the early 1900's. After a long day of adventures to one of our waterfalls, you can soak your worries away in our garden tub, then rest the night away like royalty in our King size bed with the electric fireplace and large screen tv above the fireplace. The Suite is complete with a large walk-in glass shower, luxurious linens throughout, 2 electric fireplaces, comfortable living room space to spread out, butcher block kitchen island dining, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and stove. Just bring a bag and let the adventure begin.

Making Memories in a Place to be Remembered, Bauknight House is The Jewel of Walhalla. At our 119 year old home in the heart of historic downtown Walhalla, SC, we offer visitors a chance to experience historic charm and beauty in a luxurious mansion on Main Street.

The space
Beautiful historic home circa 1906 with large rooms and modern amenities.
You're greeted by the expansive front veranda with impressive columns and rocking chairs to take in the mountain view. The back of the home features off-street parking for 5+ cars. The sidewalk leads you through the private back garden to the patio and covered veranda. Outdoor dining is an option in the front or back of the home.
The first floor features large gathering rooms with easy flow for entertaining and two gas log fireplaces. The sunroom is an ideal spot to enjoy a book or take in the town. A formal parlor opens into the large dining room with 8 ft table. Your kitchen and walk-in pantry are conveniently located just off the dining room. The stocked kitchen includes a restaurant style ice maker/dispenser and everything you need to cater in or prepare a meal.
A large king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom is also located on the main floor as well as a half bath and laundry just off the back veranda.
Four additional bedrooms are located on the second floor. There are three large king size rooms and the intimate former "Nanny's Room" with double bed. A spacious and charming bathroom services the second floor along with a convenient drink station.
This historic jewel has been lovingly restored and you're sure to enjoy its southern charm.
