- "Enjoyed staying at this lovely property immensely! Close and convenient to the picturesque towns of Clayton and Dillard where you can find nice shops and restaurants. We visited the Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiawassee, which was also a short drive. Watched the sunset at Sky Valley overlook and saw Mud Creeks Falls just a short walk from the overlook. We ate a delicious lunch at Dillard House and a great dinner at Blue Canoe on Lake Burton. 12 Spies Vineyard is just a short drive away, so we visited there on Saturday and enjoyed some delicious wine and great music. Beautiful views too! So much to see and do in this area. The Osage Farmer’s Market is a must stop - beautiful heirloom tomatoes, peaches, vegetables, you name it, they have it! Beds in the cabin were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed when we decided to stay home and grill out. The weather was PERFECT during our stay and we enjoyed a night or two with a fire in the fire pit. Spent mornings drinking coffee on the back deck watching the ducks and geese in the lake, and evenings listening to the serenades of the katydids, frogs, and cicadas. So relaxing! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!"

The setting on the mountain affords views of Black Rock Mountain and seasonal views of the town of Clayton. This cabin is a wonderful place to relax or reconnect with friends and family. Sitting on the screened porch feels as if you are perched in the trees, you can relax to the sounds of the breeze and the songs of birds and as the day progresses to evening and night-time the sounds become that of tree frogs and crickets. Someone commented once that "it feels like we are sitting in the trees and are looking down at the squirrels!" The proximity to downtown Clayton, restaurants, grocery store, shopping, and nearby activities makes Charming Cabin a convenient place to stay as well as a home base from which to explore other areas of N. Nestled in Rabun County, GA this once outdated tiny cottage has been transformed into a small tiny gem. The tiny house includes a queen bed, 40” flat screen TV, small fridge, microwave, k cup machine, bathroom with shower and a great front porch. Outside you will find 8 acres to roam, a two person hot tub, grill (charcoal), fire pit, and a small waterfall with a porch.

The tiny house is on our lil farm property by the creek. It is conveniently located right off Highway 76 West and surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. Simplify and come see what nature has to offer. Note: this is a tiny house not a presidential suite and it can get a little cozy! Also, the tiny house is located on our property and there is another tiny house on site that we rent. This site is located at the back and more private. - "Great experience!" - "Cute home off the beaten path. Super quiet but just outside of Clayton. We rented this to raft the chatooga and it was very convenient. The house has a great screened in porch and another outdoor space for dining. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean. We cooked quite a bit and everything we needed was there, including the condiments in the refrigerator, coffee, tea and spices that were greatly appreciated. Communication was excellent. I would definitely rent this place again."

So, if your gps says stay left-stay on the gravel road in the middle. Possum Trot is lovely. We brought firewood & had daily fires in the wood burning stove."

HIKING & WATERFALLS are close by at Black Rock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge & Appalachian Trail. All less than 30 minutes from the cabin. Beautiful lakes Rabun & Burton, excellent for boating! FAST INTERNET SPEED & CABLE TV. No mountain driving to get to this "PET FRIENDLY" gem!

This is a one-bedroom cabin with a king bed. It's decorated with a touch of Christmas, including a Little Red Truck Christmas tree. There's a Blackstone for grilling on the porch, a gas stove in the kitchen, but no dishwasher. Our cabin offers Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling works in and around the cabin. However, please note that there is NO TRADITIONAL CELL SERVICE, and Wi-Fi coverage does not extend across the entire 3-acre property. We recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone before arrival to stay connected. Enjoy the daybed on the back porch that swings over the creek and the firepit. Let the furry family members run free on the 3+ acres and take a dip in the creek! We do require a $50 pet fee (Additional fee of $25/extra pet fee is billed separately) Just add them to the guest list when you are booking and the charge will apply. Award-winning wine tasting at nearby wineries. Restaurants and shopping in nearby Clayton. Lake Rabun and Lake Burton are close by, so bring your boat, there's plenty of parking available.

Other things to note: The owners have their personal travel trailer and RV stored on the property. The owners visit the property every three weeks to mow the grass, which takes a couple hours. You will be notified a couple days in advance if you are visiting during this time.

*Black Diamond Road is a narrow farm road, and the cabin driveway is about 100 yards from the Warwoman Road turn off. There are 2 "pull outs", one on the right about 50 yards from Warwoman Road and another on the left about 10 yards from the cabin driveway. If you encounter oncoming traffic, please use one of the pull outs, or back up as necessary to allow heavier equipment to pass. Thank you.

- "I absolutley loved my stay at the Culver Christmas Cabin for the month of July! I didn't want to go home! The cabin was super clean, owners were very accommodating to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The 3 Acre property is very peaceful and I loved the two screened in areas and the covered deck were the Creek ran by and you can hear the water running past, birds chirping, cows out in the pasture so relaxing. The early Morning Mountian view out to the North was so special, Misty cloud covered Mountains with the Barn and pasture in the back ground. I used the Blackstone grill many times to grill Steaks and Potatoes, Salmon, BBQ Chicken, Burgers and fresh veggies from the Produce barns from a nearby town, then sat at the Picnic Table eating Supper watching the Deer come out of the woods to feed in the Pasture. My dog loved running and laying out in the sun all over the acres and walking in the Creek. This place is definatly an A+ stay. It was a perfect get away for me and my dog from the Savannah Low Country to the Mountains High Country! Oh, also, the drive to get here was super easy, no scary mountain roads, just a few S turns on wide paved roads to the house, super easy and Safe."

Clayton Georgia is a mountain town in far NE GA at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, about 8 miles from NC & 8 miles from SC. Hollywood likes to come and create movies here, including Disney and Ron Howard, because of the county's unique beauty. We have three large lakes and a National Forest filled with waterfalls and trails... only 10 miles from the Appalachian trial. Its a hiker's paradise!

RENTAL DETAILS AND LOCATION;
Our property is located less than half a mile from downtown Clayton where there are lots of bars and restaurants, breweries and shopping. The roughly 2150 square foot air conditioned and heated home has a lower level unit and an upper level unit. The two units are totally separate and there are no shared spaces - similar to a two family house. You are renting the UPPER UNIT which is about 1300 square feet and comes with it's own private exterior hot tub for your use only. It was totally renovated and has a comfortable and stylish vibe with a mix of Georgia country. Full size kitchen, stainless appliances and fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The living the room and a gas fireplace is open to the kitchen, separate dining room with faux fireplace, two bedrooms with queen beds a full bath and washer and dryer. There are two separate deck areas and one comes with a gas grill. We have excellent Wi-Fi which of course is FREE to access along with a large 50" LG Smart TV equipped with over 300 channels. The property has a few lovely outdoor sitting areas both covered and open along with a fire pit. We have lots of photos with very detailed listing descriptions to help you learn more about our house and the surrounding areas.

OPTION FOR 8 GUESTS AND OTHER PROPERTIES;
The upper unit sleeps 4 people and so does the lower unit so if you wish to book both the upper and lower units to fit 8 people just let us know and we can assist.
We have one other rental home in Clayton and three more in Helen so if this property is booked for your dates, we may have some other great options for you - just ask.

The owners treat their guests with respect and are available if needed via text / call. We had no issues but did send updates about our arrival and departure and they responded within minutes. What my "vacation rental" home dreams are made of. Even more beautiful than the pictures. Every single detail has been carefully thought of. Decor looked like it was straight out of a magazine. The grounds are right out of a fairytale. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms beautiful. Felt like an individual oasis. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. So close to downtown Clayton with shops and restaurants, but also private with the extra outdoor deck space and firepits. Property was so fun for our kids to run around in. They played in the meandering creek and picked daffodils. Wonderful, responsive hosts! House is everything that is pictured to be and so much more!

Head upstairs to find a loft style bedroom. Three twin beds make an ideal spot for kids to have sleepovers, or they can be converted into a king-size bed and one twin to sleep a couple or family. *We will leave details on how you can convert twins to a king bed.

The hosts are phenomenal and prompt! The cabin is within walking distance to downtown Clayton which has amazing restaurants and shops! It was a great weekend all around!!!"

- "The setting for this cabin is very secluded and peaceful. It is close to town —so it’s convenient—but you’d never know a town was anywhere near. The access is a little challenging—steep gravel roadway and steep steps to the cabin. It felt like camping—we loved sitting at the campfire overlooking the waterfall and creek below. But much better than camping since we had a comfortable bed to sleep in, a good shower and kitchen facilities :) Oh—and we actually saw a bear while at the fire pit. We were very excited about that!!!"

An efficiency unit, in a quiet neighborhood with one room and bath. An apartment-size refrigerator, with kitchen sink, a Microwave and Air Fryer. TV with YouTube TV & WiFi. Clayton Georgia is a mountain town in far NE GA at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, about 8 miles from NC & 8 miles from SC. Hollywood likes to come and create movies here, including Disney and Ron Howard, because of the county's unique beauty. We have three large lakes and a National Forest filled with waterfalls and trails... only 10 miles from the Appalachian trial. Its a hiker's paradise!

The space
Day bed with pop up trundle. It can be a twin or two twins side by side (which is the same size as a King) (the bed description won't allow me to explain it!) Upstairs in the loft is a double bed! The stairs to the loft are a little steep and may not be suitable for elderly guest. There is always the twin beds downstairs if you don't want to do the stairs. We are 65 and handle them well. The large wrap around deck is great for morning coffee! The deck is furnished with two small tables and adirondack chairs to laze around! There is a fire pit in the backyard to enjoy as well!

This small A frame house is cute, quaint convenient and has all you need. This not a tiny home. Free WIFI for all your streaming needs. I supply free Amazon TV! I added DVDs for your enjoyment!

Close to downtown Clayton but feels like the middle of nowhere! Very close to famous Bartram Trail and Appalachian Trail! Tons of hikes, parks and gorgeous waterfalls!

This cabin home is nestled in the side of a mountain in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The elevation is 1929 feet providing perfect temperatures for summer and hence, no air conditioning. There is a fully usable renovated kitchen with dryer and washer on the porch for laundry. The house is located close to many locations for hiking, white water rafting, etc. The famous Tallulah Gorge is a short drive for beautiful scenery and hiking.

The cabin offers 2 bedrooms, 1 BR with a double bed and 1 BR with a set of twin beds. In addition there is a couch in the living room for an extra guest. Wifi is available along with television.

The space
The cabin is situated in a 6 acre remote property on the side of a cliff next to a creek and waterfall. There are about 4 flights of stairs down to the cabin. The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed in it. The loft has 2 twin beds with a very low ceiling. The living room has a Full fold out bed. There is a small, but full kitchen with some pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. There is a small table for dining. The tv had NO cable or internet and it only for watching DVDs. We usually move it into the living room of the kids want to watch something. You can go for a walk around the property or take a quick drive into town or nearby sightseeing.

The cabin is in the back of a neighborhood with a packed gravel road that is somewhat steep at times. Our driveway is around a mile long and is very steep at times and loose gravel. When leaving the cabin, you will need to reverse uphill about 100 feet. All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is recommended, but required when there may be ice or snow on the ground. We do not recommend arriving after dark for check in due to the driveway having twists and turns. After check in, you can come and go anytime. Low clearance vehicles are not recommended.

There is no trash service at the cabin. You must pack out your trash. There is a dump about 20 min away of you would like to bring trash and recycling there on your way out or during your stay.

Secluded, yet just 3 minutes from town. Paved road leads to the cabin.  Enjoy the peaceful sound of the creek fed by 2 waterfalls. 4 guests only-NO exceptions! Infants/children ARE guests. No pets of any type. NO smoking/vaping inside. Land line phone provided. LL: Bedrooms, bath, laundry & porch. UL: Kitchen, living area, bath & screened porch. We know that you'll fall in love with the area. Clayton has been voted best "Farm to Table" community in GA and has many wineries and waterfalls!

The space
Located on a private drive. Home literally sits among the treetops. Seasonal mountain views. Creek surrounds 2/3 of property.
Only one of three homes on drive. The other two homes are not visible from windows. Allergy friendly.
NO PETS. (Regardless of size, breed, or species)
NO SMOKING OR VAPING INSIDE THE CABIN. If you must smoke or vape, please be sure the door of the cabin is closed while you are on the porch.

The Kingwood Golf and Country Club is right next door which makes it a great location for those traveling to the area for a destination wedding.
Just 36 miles from the Sapphire Valley Ski resort; 45 miles from Clemson University; 90 miles from Atlanta; 90 miles from Asheville.
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park about an hour and a half away.

Guest access
Access to entire home, with the exception of the lawn shed. We simply ask that the items on the top shelves of each closet are not touched, along with the items under the stairs in the laundry room.

Other things to note
Due to its location on the mountain the home has limited cell service (Verizon/ATT customers usually have coverage). We have provided a house phone with unlimited access within the continental US for your convenience.
There are movies to enjoy on the TVs/Blu Ray Players along with a Wii.

NOTE: When we state 4 guests, we do stick to that. Guests in our mind also include infants/toddlers or young children.

Other things to note
The cottage is so close to trails, waterfalls, creeks, rivers and waterfalls. It's literally 5 minutes to downtown historic Clayton.

Close to downtown Clayton but feels like the middle of nowhere! You are in your own little paradise! Very close to famous Bartram Trail and Appalachian Trail! Tons of hikes, parks and gorgeous waterfalls! The Chatooga River is within 25 minutes! Lake Burton is only 20 minutes away!
