MINIMUM BOOKING AGE IS 25. If you are under 25, please do not place a reservation without first contacting us. Failure to do so may result in termination of your reservation.

LOCAL RESIDENTS MAY NOT BOOK. If you live within 30 miles of the property, you must contact us for pre-approval. We reserve the right to terminate reservations made by local residents.

PERSON ON RESERVATION MUST CHECK-IN. A valid picture ID and/or identity verification by the booking platform is required before check-in. And this person must be staying at the property during the booking.

GUEST TOTAL MUST MATCH BOOKING. The correct number of guests must be on the reservation - This includes all guests entering the property at any point during the stay. The definition of a guest is not limited to only those people sleeping at the property but to all guests inside the unit at any given time.

NO SMOKING OR DRUG USE. If smoking or drug use is detected inside the property after your check-out, we may request additional money for cleaning and/or file a claim against you for damages.

NO PETS ALLOWED. If any pets/animals are at the property, you will be asked to remove the animal. If pet/animal remains or damages are detected after your check-out (including but not limited to excrement, animal hair/fur, animal smell, chew/claw marks, etc.) we will request additional money for cleaning and repairs and/or file a claim against you for damages.

GUESTS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of harm arising from their use of the property. CHECK OUT ON TIME. Our cleaners are on a tight schedule and need to work in preparation for our next guests. GUEST TOTAL MUST MATCH BOOKING. The correct number of guests must be on the reservation - This includes all guests entering the property at any point during the stay. The definition of a guest is not limited to only those people sleeping at the property but to all guests inside the unit at any given time.

NO SMOKING OR DRUG USE. If smoking or drug use is detected inside the property after your check-out, we may request additional money for cleaning and/or file a claim against you for damages.

NO PETS ALLOWED. If any pets/animals are at the property, you will be asked to remove the animal. If pet/animal remains or damages are detected after your check-out (including but not limited to excrement, animal hair/fur, animal smell, chew/claw marks, etc.) we will request additional money for cleaning and repairs and/or file a claim against you for damages.

GUESTS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of harm arising from their use of the property. Guests understand that they may purchase travel insurance to protect themselves in such events. The property owners or managers are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur.

CHECK OUT ON TIME. Our cleaners are on a tight schedule and need to work in preparation for our next guests. If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out, please request it in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge a $50 late check-out fee. Any guest who is still on the property after 1:00 pm on check-out day will be automatically charged for an extra night.

Sitting on the front porch you’ll catch the sun going down right behind our horse neighbors Abby-the white one & Shyann-the painted one.
At 1996 Little Texas Road the apartment can sleep 6 comfortably and has a fully equipped kitchen & laundry room. The private entrance is just off the driveway. The large backyard is completely fenced in & we are pet friendly. Our 2 dogs Blaze & Creed are friendly as well as entertaining. The backyard also has gardens, places to sit out & a campfire area.
The front & side yards feature vegetable & flower gardens as well as fruit trees.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG!

*We are dog owners & want to AVOID automatically charging a pet fee but there are rules to be followed:
Dogs allowed downstairs (laminate flooring). No dogs upstairs(carpeting). No dogs allowed on furniture. You may borrow a dog bed and/or a dog crate if needed. Dogs need to be crated if left alone in the apartment.
We have a large fenced in yard & your dog is welcome to romp around in it, with or without our dogs.
We are dog lovers... but also must be realistic about the damage they can do.
There is a $150 SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED when booking if bringing a dog. This is REFUNDED RIGHT AFTER YOUR STAY, if house rules have been followed & there is no damage or extra mess (excessive dog fur everywhere).
If there is a problem which requires attention, you will be charged $30/hr EXTRA CLEANING FEE. The rest will then be returned to you.

This 3 bedroom/2 full bathroom house is minutes from Main Street in Travelers Rest, Furman Uni and North Greenville Uni. The house sits on 2 acres surrounded by pasture and large oak trees. It makes for a great get away with a remote feel.

There is space to store bicycles if you’re planning on riding on the multi use rail trail (called the Swamp Rabbit Trail). Or if you’re headed to one of the nearby lakes there is room to park your boat or jet skis in the driveway.

8 minute drive to Travelers Rest. 20 minutes to Greenville. 1 hour to Asheville.

The space
Hi I'm Mark. Good to meet you and Welcome to your Forest and Farmhouse stay...

First I would first like to state that ALL people are welcome here. Whatever your ethnicity, language, religious choice, gender choice, pronoun choices, etc... my guests will be accepted, respected, and protected here.

This listing is for 1 bedroom (1 or 2 people, preferably).
I call this room the Forest and Farm Room, it has vintage wood paneling that my Dad put up in the mid eighties...

It has a queen bed, antique furniture, and a decent sized closet. Also Coffee (K-cups), an electric kettle & tea, a microwave, and a medium sized dorm fridge. The fridge is usually off unless you are staying 4 or more days... But if you would like it on I can plug it in for ya. There is also an air filter.

There is a full bath down the hall maybe 10 ft, which you will have to yourself if there are no other guests. There may be times you will need to share, but in 6 plus years of doing this, that has always worked out well and gone smoothly.

This room and bath are upstairs and there is an additional half bath downstairs

Our home and grounds is a very animal-friendly environment and has been for over 50 years. I've had many many guests with pets stay and they and their pets have loved it here. There is a large open yard surrounded by forest, so a great place for dogs to run off leash and not get into much trouble. Plus the trails in the forest have a lot of wild animal smells for dogs to enjoy.

We live here full -time at the moment, so you would be sharing the house with me and my family of 3, plus our dog and cat. Most weeknights & mornings my 9 year old son Xander is here.

I mostly work at home so I'm here a lot.
I like to leave my guests be, but I am available for questions and for fetching and fixing things, which I'm happy to do. Also please let me know if a room is too hot or cold, or if anything is missing.

Also, feel free to ask me about local places to eat, shop, find local crafts, local color, etc... and if outdoor adventuring or exploring is your thing, I know a good bit about that too.

I have a large outdoor fire pit with a couch and chairs and plenty of cut wood. Just ask if you'd like to get a fire going. I'll get it started and light the lantern for ya. Pretty sweet up there on nice evenings.

Guests are welcome in all shared spaces. And if you would like privacy on the front or back porch we can do that. My idea of hosting is to give you your space, and fill that space with whatever you need for your stay to be relaxing and enjoyable.

Guests will have access to the 2 acres of open yard and 7 acres of forest on the property.

This includes a wooded trail with a creek, and an outdoor fire-pit hangout area.

Also the front porch and back porch, laundry, living room and of course the kitchen and bathrooms.

During your stay
I like to let guests determine their own level of privacy. Being a good host means being available when needed but keeping interactions to the guest's desired level , so please feel free to let me know what that is.

I work at home most days, and if I'm not here you can text me with any needs or concerns. I am happy to fetch things or fix things as necessary to make your stay as nice as possible.

If you feel the room is too cold or too warm, please let me know and I will do my best to adjust that for you.

Also if I have forgotten anything in the rooms, please let me know and I will make sure you have it quickly.

And if you happen to leave behind anything important, please let me know, or I will let you know if I find it, and I will mail it to you promptly.

Other things to note
The house is 50+ years old (built in 1972) so the floors and doors creak a bit and there is some dust here and there and scuffs on the walls and other signs of a well-lived-in old farmhouse... but I like to think this just gives it a bit more character and coziness. Like home rather than a hotel.

I am always working on improving the house, and I have worked hard to get it mostly up to date and clean and comfortable... but if you see anything you think should be addressed, feel free to let me know. I want my guests to feel at home and comfortable with making suggestions.

You can park on the grass just to the right of the driveway. You will see other cars there most likely. Please do not drive on the grass at the top of the driveway. The leech lines for the septic system are there.

Additional Queen Size air mattress is available for additional charge. Private entrance is in the back of the house. Sorry it is NOT handicap accessible, guests will need to walk through the garden to the back of the house to enter the suite, which would not be a bad thing as Claire's garden is always beautiful. Get back to simpler times in this cozy Tiny Home!!! It sits on a 5 acres, about 100 yards from the main house. It is conveniently located right Hwy 25 5 miles north of Travelers Rest, 20 mins to Greenville, 35 mins to Ashville. There are several state and city parks within a short drive. With great views of the mountains from the property, its perfect to get away and get out in nature.

We are close to lots of hiking, biking, summer swimming (Table Rock and a Greenville County park), and even small town shopping. Set in a very rural area yet not too far away to grab a bite to eat at some nearby restaurants.

The property is within 10 minutes driving distance to a lake at Pleasant Ridge County Park.

This is a quite county area, with an occasional barking dog or other sound from the country. Please be respectful of your neighbors.

There are 3 heat sources to keep you nice and cozy: the heat pump controller is by the shower, the propane furnace thermostat is on the wall behind the TV, and there is also a small electric heater if you need it. If you cannot get these going, please message me.

It’s a known fact that the Airstream camper is in a class by itself, and a 1972 Airstream Ambassador that's 90% original is a rare treat. Our girl is one incredible aluminum land yacht that we've christened "Silvia" after a hit song of '72 - Silvia's Mother" by Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, and because, well, she's silver. She's been well cared for over the past 50+ years, and only the things that really matter have been updated - bathroom, larger instant water heater, new AC, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffeemaker, memory foam mattresses with latex toppers, dedicated WiFi, surge-protected USB outlets – but as far as everything else, from the '70s vintage cookware, utensils, linens, books, games, puzzles, and many '70s music CDs to discover, you'll really dig her vibe, man.

Guests have a gated private double entrance/exit driveway. The entire guest area is fenced/gated, guests have access to the lower property where the ponies are, seating on the bridge for a. m. coffee or p. m. libation - beware, though...the ponies will pester you for a sip.
If you do enter the lower property to hang out with the ponies or check out our mini farm, PLEASE REMEMBER TO 1) close the gate behind you, 2) make sure the kids and pets are under your direct supervision at all times.

Other things to note
We're just off of a 2-lane country road that the local folks use as a cut-through during the morning and evening rush hours, so traffic can pick up a little then, but it quickly settles to typical country road traffic for the majority of the time, ebbing off to intermittent during the evening and overnight.

This is a quite county area, please be respectful of your neighbors. There are 2 other AirBNBs on my property plus a couple areas for tent sites you can message me about.

The property is within 10 minutes driving distance to a lake at Pleasant Ridge County Park.

We are close to lots of hiking, biking and even small town shopping. Set in a very rural area yet not too far away to grab a bite to eat at some nearby restaurants.

This Cabin is located next door to farm and have a cafe located on property. Guest who stay with us must be a natural lover of nature and animals. Guest will here rooster sounds in the morning. Since there is a farm on premises we encourage you to keep the front door close when not being use to limit natures nature creatures from renter the cabins like flies, mosquitoes or stink bugs. Also cabins have a fire pit located located 25 feet from the front door for you to enjoy.

Update- we have no damage from the hurricane . We have power and internet. Far out!! Stay cool + cozy in our unique, remodeled eco-friendly Airstream camper with vintage design + modern comforts! We chose quirky, fun items from the '70s, from the DVDs/cassettes, to cookbooks, kitchenware, toys, and bedding. In the PRIVATE, QUIET RURAL setting 11 mins. from downtown TR, have breakfast on the deck, grill steaks, watch a movie on the sofa, or sit around the cozy fire pit. Relax and hit reset! Kids 9+ only, 1 dog only, note composting toilet--SEE BELOW.

The space
**Featured in AAA Living Magazine SC (print), Narcity, Belle Magazine, Territory Supply, and Only in Your State (digital).** Harestream Haus sleeps up to 4 (adults, infants, and children 9 and over) and is located in a fenced, VERY quiet setting. Please note that our Blue Haus rental and our own home are also on the property, but there is plenty of privacy for all. There are some small farm animals next door, so be aware that it's possible there could occasionally be livestock aromas outdoors, though this is very rare! The 2 XL-Twin beds are eco-friendly memory foam, and the dinette bed (table and couch made into double bed using extra cushions) is pretty comfy as well. If you'd like total darkness when sleeping, we provide eye masks. One small/medium dog is allowed (about 40 pounds max); PLEASE LET US KNOW if a furry family member is joining you. The charge is $10 per STAY. We allow only a smaller dog as the space is not equipped for larger pets. The backyard area is fenced and private.

Be aware that the full bath includes a COMPOSTING TOILET, which looks basically like a flush toilet, is simple to use, and is odor-free! **Please inquire about the toilet PRIOR to booking if you are unsure what it is and want to know more about how to use it; it will involve a small amount of cooperation from you during/after use.

You can connect to WiFi on the shaded deck, and almost always indoors as well (you may or may not be able to stream on the TV; it usually works fine). For calls, you may need to enable WiFi Calling (check to see if your phone has this option). Please note this is the norm inside these vintage tin cans! The TV plays DVDs and Nintendo NES games only (no cable or local channels, but you should be able to use your own streaming services). Listen to the radio or choose from our selection of '70s cassettes on the portable radio/cassette player. A fireplace heater provides ambience and heat for the entire space, but there is full A/C and heat (adjust the louvers to direct air at either end of the unit).

We've added thoughtful task and cool ambient lighting throughout, with vintage lamps and also use of original Airstream fixtures.

The kitchen includes a full fridge/freezer, 2-burner induction cooktop, sink with potable water, slow cooker, multi-cooker, teapot, two small French coffee presses, Keurig Mini, and an electric kettle (no oven or microwave). Tea, coffee, and a variety of spices and oils are complimentary. We also provide you with retro candy and gum, plus we often have the fixin's for s'mores over the fire pit (wood included)!

Enjoy a hot or cool shower indoors or out—yes, we have a large OUTDOOR SHOWER you can enjoy under the tree canopy (closed during winter). There's also a misting line in summer, next to the fire pit area and two hammocks where you can gaze up at twinkling lights in the trees at night.

Note, please: this is a quiet property in a small rural neighborhood, NOT an in-town listing with lots of activities in the immediate area. The yard has a privacy fence all around; there is also a silver cattle guard gate and a window in our Blue Haus rental that looks out onto the yard (though it has privacy film over it so those inside can’t see out). If you go for a walk, you'll have a partial view of little Sugar Lake just across the street (a prime bird-watching spot for certain ducks in particular--no lake access, but you can use our binoculars to watch from the road), and you'll hear tree frogs and cicadas in summertime. You're likely to spot ducks, geese, rabbits, hummingbirds, fireflies, and other wildlife here. We're 8 minutes from our cute downtown area, and we like it that way! If you're over 6'3", just know that you will have to stoop in the indoor shower (though not the outdoor one!) and will likely bump your head in a few places inside (the ceiling is 6'6" at the highest point).

You'll have full access to the Airstream, deck, and back yard area, including two seating areas, a two-person hammock, outdoor games, fire pit and chairs, outdoor shower, and a charcoal grill. There is only a chain lock on the door but also a security camera by the cattle guard gate. If you leave and don’t want to bring valuables with you in your car, let us know and they can be locked in the red shed next to the Haus. The driveway is shared with our Blue Haus Airbnb guests. The lake across the street is private, but it can be viewed from the street if you go for a walk.

Other things to note
Parties are NOT ALLOWED, and NO OTHER PEOPLE are allowed on the property unless they are paying guests. The space is simply too small. If you’d like to meet up with family or friends, please ask and we’ll give you some ideas of good places to get together!

The Dwelling Place was created for guests to enjoy Travelers Rest and the beautiful surrounding areas. It is a studio apartment above a detached garage with a private entrance and driveway.

We are a one minute walk from the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a 1.2 mile walk from the idyllic downtown Travelers Rest, 20 min. from Greenville, 8 min. from Furman, 15 min. from North Greenville University, and close to numerous hikes, waterfalls, and outdoor adventures!

The Dwelling Place is a studio apartment about 400 square feet. It is a room above a detached garage with a private entrance and personal driveway. The space features a large walk in shower, a kitchenette, and a small washer/dryer. We are located a one minute walk away from the Swamp Rabbit Trail and 1.5 miles from downtown Travelers Rest.

Upon arrival, you will park in driveway in front of the garage. You will walk towards the right of the garage towards your own personal patio. You can then use the keypad to enter The Dwelling Place. Walk up the stairs and enjoy the space!

The private studio is on top of a detached garage, a part of a primary residential home. There are stairs to climb to enjoy the studio.

For those who love the outdoors, many beautiful South and North Carolina parks and trails are only short drives away.

Other things to note
There are dogs that live in host’s residence which do bark at times and will howl at sirens (there is a fire station around the corner). We are aware as hosts and have sought feedback from guests as to if the noise from the dogs has been a negative issue. Overwhelmingly the feedback has been positive in that it wasn’t an issue, but we did get a response that it would had been nice to have known it before booking, so we have added this disclaimer about this. I certainly do not want guests’ experiences to be hampered by not knowing this in advance. Thank you!

Our lovely remodeled 2 Bedroom 2 full bath mobile home is located close to the top of a hill on a fairly wooded property and private, quiet backyard. There's a large covered deck with gas grill for fun outdoor activities. We offer a portable campfire ring for peaceful evenings. (Campfires require pre-approval)

The home has been fully updated, with a brand new kitchen and 2 new bathrooms. A split floor plan gives each room plenty of privacy, as the Master suite, featuring a King bed, Roku TV, attached bathroom, an electric log fireplace to add ambiance and walk-in closet, is on one side of the house, while the hall bathroom and adjacent twin bedroom is on the other side. The twin room features two twin beds and a small closet.

Our living area has a lovely plush gray sofa, and a fun accent chair. Also included is a dedicated workspace with direct WiFi connection.

An open kitchen and dining area complete the home. Our kitchen is well-equipped with all you will need to cook a fantastic meal, and our coffee bar is stocked with Keurig pods, creamer, and some complimentary snacks.

Pets and Pet Amenities
We love pets, and welcome them into our home. We include "dirty dog towels" for you for cleaning their paws and any messes and even provide a few treats.

All pets must be disclosed to the host and a $100 pet fee will be requested after you book. This helps to pay for additional cleaning needed resulting from our furry friends. If bringing 3 or more pets, this fee could be raised. This is up to the host's discretion. Thank you for understanding.

The space
This is a second floor apartment consisting of a kitchen, bathroom and laundry room, and an open concept bedroom and living room. The entrance to the apartment is located on the SIDE of the building above a design studio. The unit is directly behind a home also addressed 12924. You will pull into the driveway,through the metal gate, and your cozy apartment will be behind the house!

Guest access
You will have full access to the 2nd floor apartment! There is a key pad on the door, I will give you the access to the code a few days before your arrival 😊

Other things to note
The laundry area has a washer/dryer “combo” meaning it does both! There is a manual in the top drawer if needed, and just be aware due to it being a combo machine, the spin cycle is very loud. I would recommend starting it after you leave for dinner or breakfast and come back to clean laundry! 😊

Travelers Rest is a quaint town with quality shops and restaurants. It's the perfect haven to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life to reconnect to what's important.

Our modern and fully furnished apartment is designed to offer comfort and convenience. The apartment features:

- A queen bed and a sleeper sofa (full), comfortably accommodating up to 3 guests.

- A full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen for your culinary needs.

The property also offers an atrium, nature trails and neighboring farm with friendly livestock (pigs, chickens, goats) and fresh fruits/vegetables & eggs available.

You can venture in the backyard, walk the nature trail around the pond, and hang out in your own private patio section! If you’d like a tour of the main house, please let us know!

Please keep in mind that the apartment is attached to a larger house where our business partners (Carla and Noah) live full time. They are very friendly! Feel free to say hi! Although your apartment is completely secluded with its own entrance— if you hear anything, that is why!
