Alexander Haus is a beautifully restored 1910 house. The fully remodeled kitchen has a dining table for six, an island breakfast bar, dishwasher, and river views. With two cozy bedrooms and a modern bathroom on the lower level, it comfortably sleeps four. Enjoy the large second-story covered porch for dining and lounging, with stairs leading to the lower patio, river access, and an outdoor shower. Renovated in 2021, it features original wood floors and preserved wainscoting. The backyard picnic table and fire ring make Alexander Haus the perfect riverside getaway.

The 2nd floor apartment has another queen bed w/ nice linens make for good sleeping after creating a masterpiece dinner in the 2nd full kitchen. Sprawling back yard, river access & outdoor shower, and a private porch provides outdoor dining and river views!

DISCOUNT FOR LONG TERM STAYS: For guests looking for accommodations while their residence is being repaired, we have reduced our per nightly rate to $125 plus a 15% discount for 7 or more nights. Our cabin was not damged during Helene, plus the power, water and internet has been fully restored as of October 20. The property consists of the mid-1800s Marion Frisbee log cabin (for guests),
the 1820s Moore log house (owners private home), summer house/gazebo and
gardens. The log structures were disassembled and reconstructed in 1986/1987.
The frame section of the Marion Frisbee cabin was remodeled in 2019/2020 with
the addition of all new appliances air, heating and an all new bathroom with a
walk-in shower. Mostly, antique country furniture from the early 1800s (some
locally made) has been used to furnish the cabin. Our guests have the privilege
(8:00 am to sundown) of using our rustic summer house/gazebo behind our house and may enjoy the gardens by the many short paths. The combination of native wildflowers, roses, scrubs, vegetables, herbs, dry stacked traditional rock
walls, etc. makes for colorful changing scenery from early spring thru fall.

The Marion Frisbee cabin is 1 mile from the center of Weaverville, 8 miles from
Downtown Asheville, 10 miles from the Biltmore Estate, 35 miles from Mount Mitchell State Park. Information about Weaverville/North Buncombe County area for dining, groceries store, rafting/kayaking, day hikes, fishing will be available in the cabin.

We are 10 miles on Interstate 26, door to door,from our rental cabin to downtown Asheville.

The pull-out sofa will sleep two, but when in use, it limits access to the kitchen to about 1 foot (see photo). You can access the kitchen via the back porch, but that's a chilly awakening in Winter months (although it's only about 6 steps outside and back inside). we also provide two twin aero bed air mattresses including bedding (see photo).

We have nice (close proximity) neighbors to the right of our home, nobody on the left that you'll see, and there is a quiet neighborhood across the street that has good hills for walking exercise. Jupiter Rd. is a fairly busy county road. Pay attention when exiting the driveway.

Lovely 1970’s hand built log house only 18 min (13 Miles) from Asheville. The drive into home is very easy and open, not like many rentals in the area. Cabin is snuggled between three mountains on 136 acres of Farm Land and Forest. Note this a working farm. We rent the house vacation rental (some of the year) to continue to keep the original farm and keep in good shape for the future. We also have listing 485621. Check out life in a quite farm setting. Away from the crazy of the city. There are open fields around the house and a creek just bank in front of cabin.

The house is right around the corner (easy walking distance) from Lake Louise which has a playground, fishing access, and a walking path. It's an easy 15 minute drive into downtown Asheville. - "We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights/3 days in this lovely farmhouse. We had grandparents, parents and 5 grandchildren and there was plenty of space for all of us. Really enjoyed the wrap around porch, fire pit in the back and the well appointed kitchen (plenty of everything you would need to actually cook!). A few small challenges: large upstairs bedroom has a toilet right next to the bed. It was interesting to use that. The downstairs back bedroom bed was very well used and uncomfortable for our most senior family members. Lastly, we ran across a few spiders in corners, a wasp in the kids bedroom and a stink bug in one of the loft beds. We totally understand that it will have some of these little guys around and no one was truly turned off. Other than that, we filled the home with laughter and love! Thanks for having us!"

We are a local couple looking to offer a budget friendly option for travelers looking for a place to rest. The hot tub is no longer up.

Wednesdays and Thursday are currently blocked due to a recurring guest, but this is not always the case. Please message if you are interested in a stay.

The space
The basement suite is a freshly renovated space with private access. It has a mounted TV with streaming services, a queen sized bed, a microwave, keurig, mini fridge, space heater, desk fan, and work desk (for remote workers). It also has a private bathroom as well.

Feel free to park in front of the green shack on the side of the house. When you get here, feel free to go through the front gate, and turn left towards the backyard. At the bottom of the stairs, the suite will be on your right. Key will be in the door for you.

During your stay
For the most part, we’ll be home and more than willing to offer help, recommendations, or total privacy depending on your personality.

Other things to note
IMPORTANT NOTE: We pride ourselves on keeping the room as immaculate as a hotel room, and try to leave little details to make your stay unique but the reality is this is an option in the mountains. It can be a bit muddy outside, is accessed through the backyard stairs, and it is our personal living space with animals. If these are issues for you, I highly recommend looking for other options for your stay. Most people love it at the price we offer, but it is not for everyone!

- We have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 11 chickens. None of them have access to your room, but do use the backyard. I’d recommend another Airbnb if you have allergies/phobias. But if you like pets, you’re more than welcome to meet them!

- It is a basement suite, so there is slight foot traffic above. Nothing obnoxious, but worth noting.

- Please feel free to tell us the temperature you’d prefer us to keep the thermostat at! One day we’ll have enough saved to put one downstairs. We also have a space heater and desk fan to your preference. We also have a towel warmer in the bathroom! Just hit the power button, and once it turns blue, the towel is ready!

- We’re a couple that’s new to Airbnb/hosting, so if you have any recommendations, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

Our fully restored and equipped solar-powered 1952 vintage "silver beauty" camper is located on a beautiful mountainside just 20 minutes from downtown AVL and 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and world-class hiking trails. The camper features a kitchenette, toilet, and shower with hot water as well as a private deck overlooking the forest, trails, gardens, and a fire pit. Positive reviews required to book.

The space
We offer a unique "glamping" experience where you can get away from it all in a beautifully restored and comfortable vintage camper "tiny home." It features all you need: a double bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom with a flush toilet and hot shower, and a heater that keeps it cozy in chilly weather. Enjoy a reduced carbon footprint on your vacation as your electric use is offset by our rooftop solar panels! You also have your own deck for relaxing and grilling and access to a shared nature trail, permaculture gardens, picnic area, and fire pit on our family mini-farm. Relax in a hammock under the trees and stars, grill out, and retire to your very own vintage camper with all the modern amenities!

NOTE: Verizon seems to be the only cell service that gets consistent reception here. There is no TV. WiFi can be a little spotty inside the camper (the aluminum blocks the signal) but is solid on the deck. Also the camper is next to a family home so absolutely no drugs or smoking are allowed and violations of this policy will result in immediate removal, a forfeiture of the security deposit, and a report to law enforcement if necessary.

Other things to note
The firm double bed is perfect for a single person or couple. The couch in the living area folds out into another firm bed kids or one person could sleep on. The inside of the camper is well-designed and feels pretty spacious (considering that it's only 168 square feet!). To make the most of your tiny home experience, we recommend that you unpack and put your suitcases away... there is a ton of storage! Also, please remove your shoes upon entering and put them in the "shoe" box to the right of the door.

Enhanced cleaning protocols and driveway security cameras are in place for increased safety.

The kitchenette includes a mini fridge (with a freezer), two-burner electric hot plate, microwave, electric kettle, and sink. It is fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware, cookware, etc. There is a small charcoal grill on the deck.

As mentioned, there is hot water. However, the hot water tank is small and will only allow for a 2-3 minute hot shower. To make the most of your shower time, we suggest that you turn the water off while you are applying soap, shampoo, etc., and then turn it back on to rinse off. The tank does heat up again pretty quickly, so another person can take a shower fairly soon afterward.

Please note that due to the mild summers of our high-altitude mountain setting, there is no air conditioning in the camper. We encourage you to open the doors and windows to let in the fresh mountain breeze. There is also a fan for your use. The indoor temperature is usually in the high 60s/low 70s, but in the heat of the day during the hottest days of summer the indoor temperature may reach the mid-70s. If you are one of those people that needs a very consistently cold, closed, AC environment to be comfortable then this may not be the place for you. The camper is equipped with a heater that keeps it warm if needed in spring and fall.

Also please note that we are environmentalists that strive to live in harmony with our woods and therefore do not spray for bugs. Luckily we don't have any roaches but you may see an occasional harmless ladybug or moth inside or outside the camper. If this is a problem for you then you might want to look somewhere else.

Part of the road leading to our house and driveway is gravel. If you are not used to driving in the mountains then it might be kind of an adventure the first time but no one has ever had a problem reaching our house. We drive a small car and an AWD/4WD is definitely not necessary unless there is snow on the ground. That said, our driveway is a little steep and we recently discovered that it can be difficult for rear-wheel drive vehicles (some sportscars and pickup trucks) to back out. If you drive a RWD car please let us know in advance and we will make sure you have room to turn around in the driveway so that you will not have to back out. Also please note that there is parking for ONE CAR ONLY.

We are located in the woods about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Please check the map before booking. If you want to be right in the middle of the downtown action, this might not be the best fit for you. This camper is best for those seeking a peaceful and authentic rural mountain getaway a little outside town. It's the perfect location for exploring the beautiful and unique high-altitude areas along the Blue Ridge Parkway north of town, such as Craggy Gardens and Mount Mitchell. That said, you can get an Uber/Lyft to downtown Asheville for about $20! Just make sure to request a ride a little in advance of our desired departure since it can take a bit for them to get out here. You can also get food delivered from local restaurants.

The only cell carrier that seems to get consistent service in our area is Verizon. There is wifi.

Please note that we do live right next door with lively young children and dogs so some noise is inevitable. We do our best to be quiet and respectful but if you need complete and total silence then this might not be the place for you.

We ask that you please refrain from loud noise and music after 9pm. No partying please as this is a family home.

After being Super Hosts for over a decade...We're Back! Helene' made a mess of one of our mountains while barely touching the other. Fortunately the long range panoramic views Helene' opened were worth the effort it took to clear the downed trees from the miles of hiking trails. The untouched mountain provides an interesting before and after contrast to the power of Mother Nature, along with the amazing pace of her recovery. In many ways our woods are prettier than ever. "Life will find a Way!"

The space
Relax in your comfortable, UN-shared 700+ square foot suite located on the main floor of our one story home on 33 acres. Less than 15 minutes from Asheville. Suitable for a couple or one person, with its comfortable Queen bed. Your own bathroom/shower and of course your own private Living room with its long range sunset view over the French Broad River Valley. Be sure to click on photos to see more.

Should you feel like stretching your legs there are miles of hiking trails just outside your private entrance. Stroll through Sharon’s flower and vegetable gardens. Follow the stream up the mountain. Relax sitting on a comfortable swing as you enjoy the mountain view and let the sight & sound of the babbling brook carry your cares away. You’re still only 200 yards from the house...if you would like to indulge yourself with a longer walk in the woods...there are more unique “pretty places” and more swings/benches along miles of private hiking trails.

Of course we’re also happy to share information on the many hikes we know in nearby National Forests. Including Mount Mitchell and Craggy Dome...a short, beautiful drive away...on the Blue Ridge Parkway. (local authorities are predicting the BRP will be reopen around Asheville by September 2025)

When you've had enough of the woods (if that’s possible) you are 10 miles from Downtown Asheville, best known for its diverse restaurants, breweries, interesting night life, fabulous music, art galleries, street musicians, Southern hospitality and eclectic vibe. You are also less than 3 miles to the quaint, artsy town of Weaverville and its interesting eateries.

Of course healthy breakfast offerings of homemade muffins/coffee cake, cereals, etc. are available in your living room each morning.

Even though we live and work from the home you will find all the privacy you desire. Interaction is based on wants and needs of the guest.

Check in is generally after 2pm and checkout is by 12pm. Ask me if this doesn't work for you...I'm flexible on this if we don't have guests arriving.

The Cottage has its own private entrance with front and back doors. This suite has its own private HVAC system that leaves you in control of you temperature comfort. You have access to your front porch and a back deck for the sunrise and sunsets. You also have a bar on the back deck BBQ, Pickle Ball court, paddles and balls. This is a skinny singles court. Due to the unfortunate situation of our non-verbal, autistic son, who is highly allergic to animals which could hospitalize him, Pets are not permitted on this private property. NO PETS ALLOWED!! At anytime.

Our cozy hermitage cabin is located in a secluded meadow away from the other facilities. Come for a retreat and use the time however you prefer—deepening into meditation and prayer or writing your book or journaling. It has its own private deck and a comfortable bed, chair, and room enough to do yoga and meditate. There is a small refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and kettle, as well as a two burner stove.

The space
Our hermitage cabin is located on 11 gorgeous acres. Walk the many trails and visit the sacred spots on the land. You will feel deeply held in the beauty of this place and leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We offer this cabin to those who want to retreat from the world. This is a single occupancy space only.
You can schedule a nurturing bodywork session at any time during your stay, with our onsite massage therapist.

Other things to note
We like to use our cabin for personal retreats, and offer it to our guests to do the same. If you are looking for some quiet time in Nature, this is for you. If you want to party, drink or smoke, this is not the place to do so.
The outdoor shower, hot tub, and cold tub are shared with other guests, but you will be the only one using it at any given time, so it feels very private.

This property is a duplex, but you are unlikely to see guests staying on the opposite side of the property. The property has private, free parking just a few feet from the base of the stairs and a private porch. There are no shared spaces whatsoever.

Space is a downstairs studio apartment in a private vegan home. Apartment is a dedicated single level guest space with a separate entrance. Space is isolated from the rest of the house with it's own heat / AC and a bathroom with shower. One queen bed and couch large enough to sleep one. There is a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, plates, cups and utensils. Home sits on a 1/3 acre surrounded by plants and trees on nice city street with street lighting. There is WIFI and TV with ROKU (various channels and movies) and Prime video.

Guest will have access to the entire downstairs studio apartment. Dogs should be walked along the street.

Due to severe allergies we ask that our space remain scent / fragrance free.
Space is animal product free. Please don't bring any food or items derived from animals into the apartment.

Note: One neighbor has 2 dogs in fenced yard that are not friendly so don't approach. That property is not near the guest parking or entrance. Otherwise the town and neighborhood is very dog friendly with many people out and about with pets.

The space
We know you will love this studio! We are so excited to share this special place with you. Located in a gorgeous and very quiet wooded setting with a spectacular mountain view, you will feel like you are away from it all yet are conveniently located near Weaverville, Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Mitchell, Craggy Gardens, the Mountains-to-Sea trail, and the Wolf Ridge ski area. The space features a queen bed, a fold-out couch, and a fully-stocked kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, toaster oven, and mini-fridge. The bathroom has Moroccan tile and a shower (no bathtub). There is a wood stove (firewood is for sale on site!) for cozying up next to with a glass of wine or hot chocolate in the winter. Come relax in the hammock chair on your own private deck with gorgeous year-round mountain views! There is a nature trail and permaculture garden just steps from your doorstep. There is also a fire pit for relaxing under the stars.

NOTE: Verizon seems to be the only cell service that gets consistent reception here. There is no TV. You will have access to WiFi. Also this a family home so absolutely no drugs or smoking are allowed and violations of this policy will result in immediate removal, a forfeiture of the security deposit, and a report to law enforcement.

Other things to note
Please note that due to the mild summers of our high-altitude mountain setting, there is no air conditioning in the apartment. We encourage you to open the doors and windows to let in the fresh mountain breeze. There is also a ceiling fan. The indoor temperature is usually in the high 60s/low 70s, but in the heat of the day during the hottest days of summer the inside temperature of the apartment may reach the mid-70s. If you are one of those people that needs a very consistently cold, closed, AC environment to be comfortable then this may not be the place for you.

Also please note that we are environmentalists that strive to live in harmony with our woods and therefore do not spray for bugs. Luckily we don't have any roaches but you may see an occasional harmless ladybug or moth inside or outside the apartment. If this is a problem for you then you might want to look somewhere else.

Part of the road leading to our house and driveway is gravel. If you are not used to driving in the mountains then it might be kind of an adventure the first time but no one has ever had a problem reaching our house. An AWD/4WD is definitely not necessary unless there is snow on the ground.

We are located in the woods about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Please check the map before booking. If you want to be right in the middle of the downtown action, this might not be the best fit for you. This apartment is best for those seeking a peaceful and authentic rural mountain getaway a little outside of town. It's the perfect location for exploring the beautiful and unique high-altitude areas along the Blue Ridge Parkway north of town, such as Craggy Gardens and Mount Mitchell. That said, you can get an Uber/Lyft to downtown Asheville for about $20! Just make sure to request a ride a little in advance of our desired departure since it can take a bit for them to get out here.

The apartment is somewhat soundproofed but please note that we do live upstairs with children and dogs so some noise is inevitable. We do our best to be quiet and respectful but this is a family home so if you are a late riser and need complete and total silence then this might not be the place for you. A sound machine and earplugs are provided for your convenience.

The tub is for showering only.

We ask that you refrain from playing music and making loud noises after 9pm. No partying please as this is a family home.

We follow AirBnB's cleaning protocol and block off the day before and after each reservation so there's at least 24 hours between guests. Renovated cabin surrounded by a hardwood forest. Simple, cozy, clean, quiet country setting. No smoking, no e-cigarette, etc. inside and out please. Additional amenities - Complimentary continental breakfast goodies in the frig and cool treats in the freezer - Window AC unit in the bedroom cools living room and kitchen area off to 73. Bedroom is cooler than that. - Folding camp chairs for you to borrow - An activity folder with TONS of insider info Ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom make it nice and comfy. During the summer we're usually 5 degrees cooler than town because of all the trees. Baseboard heat to take the chill off when needed. Wake to the sound of wild turkeys and birds. Verizon seems to have the best cell coverage up on our mountain.

Note that GPS is incorrect for this address, and will take you to the wrong location. Enjoy our beautiful spacious private guest apartment. Relax in our backyard full of surprises for kids: swing set, tree house and sand box. The space
You are coming to a beautiful apartment with a separate entrance located in the basement of our home. The things that are mostly appreciated by guests are: the big rain spa looking like shower, the comfy king size mattress and backyard amenities for kids and pets. We are non smokers and have high sensitivity to smoke therefore we ask all guests to NOT SMOKE anywhere on our property, not even in your vehicle. We live upstairs with our 6.5 and 8 years old children so you might hear us especially mornings and bed times. Our house is quiet between 9pm and 7am and we do our best to keep it quiet also during the day.
This is a KIDS FRIENDLY home. There are chickens, big sand box with sand toys, basket ball court, swings, tree house, 15" trampoline and a lot of running space in the fenced area of our back yard. We are happy when guests take advantage of it all (even when they don't have kids). Please attend your kids all the time when they are outside.
All well behaved PETS are welcomed and please inform us if you are bringing a pet. Guests are welcomed to let their pets run free in our fenced big back yard, please inform us if you plan to do so, so that we can prepare our hens.

There is a king size bed in the bedroom . If you need a toddler bed, twin size air mattress or a pack-and-play, please let us know in advance so we can set them up for you.

Upon guests suggestions we installed:
1) an AC and heating unit with independent control in the apartment
2) a smart TV so you can connect to your Netflix or other
3) a comfortable arm chair with foot rest

Farm's View is set on a family farm, which was income producing years ago. Farm's View is still family owned, along with the joining properties. There is wildlife around at times - deer, turkey, and other creatures. Farm's View offers a small home away from home. Feel free to walk down the driveway, cross the bridge, and explore the neighborhood. Just note that the main road can be busy at times.

Vehicles must travel and park on gravel areas only. Do not park or drive on the grass in front of or around the home.

Though the property has some incline up the driveway and to the back porch, the main part of the front yard is level. Guests can sit on the porches or at a concrete table and benches in the front yard. Farm's View is available for all ages; special bedding for infants and very small children is not provided. The windows have venetian blinds with cords. There is wooden furniture in different rooms that have cornered edges. Please consider this when making your reservation if you have children. Lower level patio has a fire pit, propane BBQ and lounge chairs with a coffee table to sit in the sun and soak up some rays. .

The enclosed porch is your entry to the guest suite and just next to your personal driveway parking. Door has keyless entry with a push code.
