It features an open floor plan with two bedrooms, one full bathroom, private entrance, full kitchen, laundry room, private driveway and tons of space for you to relax and make yourself feel at home.

The central location makes it easy to get just about anywhere in Johnson City in a matter of minutes. The house is 16 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway and within walking distance to Freedom Hall.

The Space

Your guest suite is around 1100 square feet of space with an open floor plan design. Whether you’re staying for a couple of days or a month this basement apartment has the basic amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The kitchen features a full size refrigerator, oven, glass cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and sink. It is stocked with dishes and silverware for six guests, along with basic supplies like pots & pans, cutting board, knives, baking sheet, utensils, wine/beer opener and a Keurig coffee maker.

The laundry room has a washer and dryer for your private use. Please bring your own laundry detergent or there is detergent available to purchase from our laundry mini-bar.

The two bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the space. The master bedroom has a queen bed, chest of drawers, nightstand, TV and a small closet. The bathroom is attached to the master bedroom.

The smaller bedroom has a full size bed.

There is also a tall queen size inflatable air mattress which can be set up in the master bedroom if requested.

The living room features a 50” 4K ultra high def smart TV, a comfy couch, a closet to hang clothes and a love seat. The loveseat is a small pull-out sofa bed, however, it is short and is best suited for children.

Important Things to Know Before Booking

1.) Please be aware that there are some low clearance spots in this apartment. The ceiling is only six feet high in the bathroom and in a couple of spots where there is overhead ventilation duct. It’s normal height throughout the rest of the space.

This space is not recommended for guests who are six feet or taller (1.8 meters) due to low ceiling height in some places (such as in the bathroom).

2.) There is one single 11-inch (27 cm) step at the entrance to the bathroom. That is the only step in the space.

3.). A family lives upstairs in a completely separate unit. They do their best to be as quiet as possible for guests but some noises such as footsteps are unavoidable.

Condo next to East Tennessee State University and very close to the Veteran’s Administration and Johnson City Medical Center. Just a few minutes from downtown or north Johnson City. 6 miles to downtown Jonesborough and the storytelling festival. 20 miles to Bristol Motor Speedway.

HVAC replaced a year or so ago. It’s a no frills townhouse (no pool or tennis courts, garage, etc.). The condo association is in the process of doing some exterior work and landscaping, so things are a bit bare on the outside. However, the inside is very clean and comfortable.

This is a very safe and mostly quiet neighborhood. It is near campus, so occasionally students get noisy, but my neighbors are very polite and courteous. I’ve always felt very safe there.

I have two parking spaces. If additional spaces are needed, I can usually make arrangements with one of my neighbors.

Our apartment is right in the heart of downtown in between Main Street and the downtown square parking lot, overlooking a breezy patio courtyard. There are restaurants, breweries, parks, and a new theatre steps from the apartment. So fun! There are so many options at your fingertips from this loft. You can easily stop by the farmers' market, take a stroll through Founders Park, or swing by one of the many events in the evening. There is even a restaurant under the complex for easy access to brunch, dinner, and events!

Guest Access:
Getting to our place is super easy, and downtown JC has a ton of free parking! The Downtown Square Lot next to our place is usually a safe bet from morning till late afternoon, but right across the street from that is a huge lot that has options pretty much any time of day or night. This apartment does not come with a designated parking spot, as all parking is first-come-first-serve. Our place is a short walk from any of the downtown lots. The keypad on our doors makes it super convenient to come and go as you please while you explore the city.

The Neighborhood:
Our place is right in the heart of Downtown JC. It's super walkable and is the perfect starting point for whatever you'd like to get into. You'll definitely feel like you're in the middle of the action, but of course, that also means you might hear some noise from trains and nightlife. There is a restaurant underneath the complex that holds weekend events. We think it's just part of the vibe and embrace it!

Just two of them actually, so while it's not handicapped accessible, it's a great choice for those looking for less stairs to navigate.

About the bedrooms:
We've set this space up to accommodate up to 6 people, and longer stays are welcomed. In bedroom #2, there is a queen size bed, and it bedroom #1, there are two twins with trundles. Each mattress on the twin bed is at least 10" thick and these beds are built to accommodate adults.

About the kitchen:
This is a fabulous kitchen to cook & bake in! It's an inviting space, with a huge granite island. Well stocked and the perfect place to cook in. You won't miss out, because the kitchen is open to the rest of the living area.

The apartment is about 600 square feet and up a flight of stairs on the second floor. There is a lot of natural light, which makes it feel really good. There are three main rooms - the living room, the kitchen, and the bedroom. And of course, the bathroom. It was originally built in the 1950s, and was rebuilt from the studs in 2010 after a fire.

Outdoor smoking is allowed, but cigarette butts and smoking materials must be disposed of properly. A $200 fee may be charged if our staff has to clean up discarded smoking debris.

Furniture must not be moved. If it has been significantly relocated and not returned to its original position, a repositioning fee may apply to cover time and labor.

- "Property was nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Everything was in great condition. The only drawback is the size of the sinks in both bathrooms. They made the most of the space, but you really feel squeezed in the master bath. Still fine for a couple day visit, but could become an issue for an extended stay. Overall still pleased, great little place in a great location."

A full walkout basement with lots of lighting! In the bedroom it can get dark enough for you to sleep in or you can let the sun shine through the blinds. There's one bedroom, one bathroom with a Jacuzzi (not an outside hot tub), a mini kitchen (no stove) big living room with big screen TV! Private entrance. Cozy and comfortable! You can retreat and feel renewed!

The camper is located about ten minutes from downtown Johnson City, five minutes from ETSU, and five minutes from the Johnson City Medical Center. We are tucked away in a quiet area while still being in a central location. We are the perfect place for traveling professionals or vacationers alike. We do have a friendly but large and JUMPY Australian shepherd and a cat. If you do not like animals, then we are not the place for you. We do not allow smoking of any kind inside or outside!

The space
This vintage gem features a full-sized bed. It has a dining area, microwave, and refrigerator. It is equipped with both air conditioning and heat. The dining area can be turned into a twin sized bed upon request if you need to accommodate an extra person.

Guests have access to the camper as well as to the main house and all of its shared common spaces such as the kitchen, living room, laundry room, and bathroom.

Other things to note
We do have both an Australian Shepherd and a cat. If you have allergies to animals, we may not be the right place for you. If you do not like animals, we are not the right place for you. Our Australian Shepherd is a big goofy dog with lots of energy. He will greet you at the door by jumping on you and giving you kisses. He loves people especially new people! If you would not like a large dog jumping up to give you kisses, we are probably not the best place for you.

We do not allow smoking or vaping of any kind on property. If you smoke or vape you will have to do so in your car or leave the property. If a guest smokes inside there will be a minimum of $100 fine and any additional cleaning costs added to your stay.

2. Heating and cooling is controlled by the main house, as this is a historic home. Please simply text me if you need additional heating or cooling. 3. Wash, dry and fold laundry services are available at an additional $25 per load.

The space
The room is UPSTAIRS. The morning sun will brighten the room. The sitting area does not have a door that separates it from the staircase. You control the temperature in the bedroom. I live quietly downstairs where there are gas logs if you need to warm the upstairs in the winter. You may see me. Greet me or not. It is your visit and I am flexible.

Guest access
The front door entrance opens to a foyer and shared living room. The dining room and front porch with dining table are also shared.

During your stay
Message if you aren’t in a hurry for a reply. Call if I don’t reply in time. Knock on the private, downstairs doors or call in an emergency. I am always eager to answer questions and support your perfect experience. Greet me if you see me.

Our home is 3/4 mile from ETSU, 1.5 Miles to VA and Medical Center. About 2.5 Miles to downtown Johnson City. It is on a private drive without traffic, quiet and secluded with wildlife roaming yet close to everything. It is for a room and shared bathroom UPSTAIRS in our home.

The space
The King room includes a flat screen TV with a cable connection, outdoor covered deck with a comfortable sitting area and small table. The shared bathroom is just down the hall with double sinks, walk-in shower and jetted tub. A refrigerator, microwave and Keurig are in the room. We welcome guests to make themselves at home in the shared spaces which include recently refinished floors, new furniture and drapes.

Guest access
Guests can access the home thru a private entry at the side of the house off the deck that has a touch pad lock. There is a paved lighted pathway from the parking area to the deck with motion lights and rope lights. The rooms are upstairs. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, dining room and main living room.

During your stay
I work from home and am usually around to share information as needed. We are avid hikers and motorcycle enthusiasts and can share information on area hiking trails and bike rides. We also own a restaurant in town, Project BBQ.

Other things to note
The outside back entrance is off of the upper deck and goes directly into the king room. You do have to walk around the house to access it. The walk area is paved and is lighted at night. There are stairs either way, inside the house or thru the outside.

This 350 Square foot minimalist-style apartment will be everything you need in a short term rental! Perfectly located just seconds off I-26, steps away from Downtown Johnson City, and just a short bike's ride to JC's new mountain bike park - Tannery Knobs. This property includes a huge front deck with chairs, a national forest style grill, covered bike rack, and access to our on-site coin/card operated laundry machines.

The space
This cozy apartment-style property mixes the outdoors with the city. Being a modern take on a minimalist ideal, this space offers a look on how you can live with just the basics. It will offer everything you could ever need in a short-term rental. Please note that the kitchen is not a full-sized, large kitchen. We offer a conventional over / air fryer combo, a 2 burner electric stove to cook with, and a smaller fridge with a freezor as well. We also have left a fan in the home to circulate air and block out some of the road noise from the close interstate.

Guests are welcome to use anything and everything provided on site. That includes our covered bike rack, national forest style charcoal grill, 24-7 coin / card operated Laundry Facility, dedicated parking spot, gas firepit out back (you may need a lighter to start), and hand sanitizer station!

Other things to note
The laundry facility is located just under the main apartments in the basement. It only costs a total of $3 dollars to both wash and dry your clothes, and you can pay with either coin or card! There will be a laundry key located on the shelf next to the door that you can use for access.
You may also use the fire pit located on the opposite side of the property. It is gas powered and has a safety switch that you have to turn back on about every hour.

Please be extra mindful of the fact that there will be people downstairs from you, and that quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. This is an older building and sound travels between the floors. If you are stomping around upstairs, the people downstairs will hear it. Please be mindful and courteous.

Brick house up on a hill with a long asphalt driveway. We have a green mailbox, but the numbers can sometimes be hard to see from the road.
We kindly ask that guests park at the top of the straight part of the driveway and do not round the corner to park behind the house by the porch or on the grass. You can use the area in front of the garage to turn around as you back down.

Your room is attached to our home, but has a private entrance. Guests do not have access to the rest of our home. We have a lockbox with key for easy self check-in.

Other things to note
Since your room is attached to our home you can expect to hear a small amount of noise during the day, but we always do our best to keep the noise to a minimum for your comfort! We have a dog and a baby who are the main culprits of the noise making. We have a fan in the hallway and a solid door to help reduce noise as much as possible. The room is just off of the kitchen so you will likely hear some noise in the early evening as we prepare dinner, but we’ll be quiet most nights by 7-8pm. If the noise ever prevents you from getting the rest you need, please let us know so we can adjust!

3. Work schedules are unique to each guest, so there is no curfew, you can come and go as you please any time day or night as needed. Private guest suite in lovely, established golf community in central JC located in the beautiful E TN mountains. Our home is on the corner of Woodmont and Fairway with a parking lot in the back of our home. Guests park at second porch and enter through the door into entryway. A safe, spacious newly remodeled private guest suite awaits you with a spacious private bathroom. Located within 30min-1 1/2hr drive is Knoxville, Asheville, ski slopes,Bristol Motor Speedway, ETSU and Jonesborugh.

The space
Amenities include:outdoor pool and patio, Amazon stick for TV, hair dryer, small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave. Iron and ironing board,pack and play, inflatable mattress and gift voucher to Johnson City's #1 voted coffeehouse (Open Doors) owned by the hosts.
We currently do not have cable TV.
