The Green River Log Cabin has everything you need featuring a fireplace, flat screen TV, dishwasher and wifi internet connection and kitchen ready for a cook. Use the cabin as your own private retreat and explore the trails, woods and creeks on the land. Or use the cabin as your starting/end points as you explore the Foothills of Polk County or attend one of the many equestrian events in the heart of Green Creek. We are at a perfect location for waterfall hiking, kayaking or tubing the Green River, zip lining the Gorge, antiquing in Landrum or even going to the many unique breweries between here & Asheville including the new Sierra Nevada Brewery.

The cabin has a new Queen size bed and bedding/furniture from Pottery Barn/West Elm. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Guests will not only have access to the cabin, but can also go for walks and explore the 28 acre farm. Part of the farm is pastures and over half is forests of both hardwood and multiple types of pine trees with creeks throughout.

Guests are asked not to enter the pastures or barns which are home to our horses, miniature donkeys, goats and young steer Romeo.

This is cozy updated smoke free mobile home. Sleeps 4. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Fully equipped kitchen, a stocked laundry room, 2 covered decks, a gas grill and fire pit on the front deck and an outdoor fire pit with firewood in the back. It is nestled behind the main home on the edge of our 5-acre gated horse farm overlooking 1 of 2 horse pastures. It comes with access to a 1/4 acre fenced dog run for guests with pets and a place to park 2 vehicles. (Sorry, no smoking allowed on the property.)

All stainless-steel kitchen appliances with a fully stocked Keurig coffee and tea station plus a traditional coffee pot. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware and spices needed to cook a complete meal, The living room has a 65" smart TV, with high-speed internet access, (100's a stations plus Netflix and Pandora are on us.) Office workstation is equipped with a 2 large 27" flat screen monitors, keyboard and wireless mouse. The Master bedroom has a 50" smart TV, a 4 post queen bed, a large master bath, walk in closet. Master bath has large walk-in shower and as bonus it has its own bidet. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a large picture window overlooking the dog run. Pet rules:
Up-to-date rabies vaccinations and flea & tick prevention is required. No Pitbull's or aggressive dogs allowed. We have 2 fenced dog runs. Wire fenced back yard and a 1/4 acre wire fenced dog run for the critters to play in. We have 2 dog beds and a 2 dog crates available for when you leave the dogs alone in the home. Dogs must be crated when you are not on the property and leashed if not inside 1 of the 2 the fenced areas.

The bed was comfy and it was good to have extra blankets.We could not find instructions for the operation of the TV. There were three remotes available, but no directions to explain their use. We called the property owner for assistance, but did not receive a follow-up call to the voice mail message. This was not an issue that keeps us from rating the overall experience as five star, but might be a significant factor for tenants who stay on site for more than a weekend.The place was very clean; we felt secure the entire time; and the price was reasonable. Inasmuch as we have family in the Tryon area we would not hesitate to make arrangements to use this location again."

2. Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note: if we find an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charged an additional Non-Refundable fee of $400.

3. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 / per day.

4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

5. There is a camera on the exterior of the home. It is recording 24/7, 365 days a year for the safety of our guests and the property. There are no cameras on the interior of the home.

Summary:
Ditch primitive camping-Enjoy the luxuries of glamorous camping! Leave your mattress pads/sleeping bags at home! Sleep on the queen bed complete with mattress and fresh linens. Stay toasty all night with the wood burning stove. Enjoy running water, solar chandelier, and cook station, at this private site! Relax on the deck overlooking the creek, or take advantage of our 26 acres; hike/take a guided horse ride (with our trainers) on our private trails at Alpine South!

The Space:
Your private, elevated tent site, includes a waterproof, safari, white duck tent. The tent has four windows and a wood burning stove for those cold nights. It has a queen bed, mattress, and fresh linens.

No more ‘hikers midnight!’ Stay up past sunset with the light from the solar chandelier hanging from the 8ft ceilings.

Leave the ramen at home and whip up a gourmet meal in the outdoor prep space complete with propane cooktop stove, utensils, and cooler for perishables items.

Additional guests or kids are welcome to join with ‘permission.’

Guest Access:
You will be completely secluded within your own private site; you may access the creek, the trials and shared property with horses and other renters.

There is a private, bathroom shed. The toilet is a brand new, upscaled (emptied between every stay) portable potty.

Interaction with Guests:
Our gravel road takes you to our footbridge that you will use to cross the creek. From here, it is about 150 ft. to the glamping site. We provide a wagon to cart luggage and food to site. Outdoor shoes suggested.

Competing at TIEC this season? Look no further than Tipple Tree Cottage, Tryon, NC. Refurbished in 2018/2019 this 3 bed, 3 bath home is only 7 minutes drive from TIEC. A must for anyone competing who wants to be within easy reach of the Showgrounds. The close proximity allows riders to be on hand when they need, but also the ability to walk away to peace and tranquility when that is also required! The property is set on 4 acres of land with easy access from its' own private, tarmac road.

Please note we have surveillance cameras at the property for your protection and ours. The Ring doorbell is located on the outside of the property to the left of the front door. This camera is left on during your stay. The other camera views the back of the property, this camera is disabled as soon as a guest arrives.
