The Green River Log Cabin has everything you need featuring a fireplace, flat screen TV, dishwasher and wifi internet connection and kitchen ready for a cook. Use the cabin as your own private retreat and explore the trails, woods and creeks on the land. Or use the cabin as your starting/end points as you explore the Foothills of Polk County or attend one of the many equestrian events in the heart of Green Creek. We are at a perfect location for waterfall hiking, kayaking or tubing the Green River, zip lining the Gorge, antiquing in Landrum or even going to the many unique breweries between here & Asheville including the new Sierra Nevada Brewery.

The cabin has a new Queen size bed and bedding/furniture from Pottery Barn/West Elm. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Guests will not only have access to the cabin, but can also go for walks and explore the 28 acre farm. Part of the farm is pastures and over half is forests of both hardwood and multiple types of pine trees with creeks throughout.

Guests are asked not to enter the pastures or barns which are home to our horses, miniature donkeys, goats and young steer Romeo.

The owner Kim promptly answered every question and even gifted us a loaf of locally baked banana bread and recommended the local dairy, Looking Glass down the road. It was wonderful to get locally made ice cream, cheese and to bring beef home. The cabin was clean, comfortable and convenient. Please be aware this cabin is located in a rural area. Most guests will find they have No Cell Service at the cabin. We have Wi-Fi/internet for your use, however, if there is an issue you may not be able to utilize the Wi-Fi calling.

Our tiny home cabin has been designed to be the perfect getaway for 2 to explore this incredible area of the Carolina Foothills or to simply relax in nature and enjoy all the farm has to offer. Our beautiful Imagine Equus Farm property is on 28 acres and located just minutes from several amazing wineries and the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The cabin itself has a very comfortable high end queen bed with organic cotton sheets and tasteful decor. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to cook your meals if you like or we have many great farm to table restaurants in the area. The cabin has all you need to stayed plugged into the outside world with high speed Wifi internet and Dish cable TV. However, probably most attractive is the connection to nature and animals you can experience here. You can hike through our woods, sit by the creek, visit our own little waterfall or even get kisses from Romeo our young steer. (And official greeter) The cabin is designed to provide you with privacy and convenience. It is set back in the woods, yet has parking out front and is private from the rest of the going ons at the farm. Perhaps everyone's favorite with this cabin is the full length covered porch with couches and comfortable chairs where you can sip your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the eve as you watch the miniature donkeys play or our horses, steer or goats graze. The cabin also features a full bathroom with a easy walk in shower with seat and glass doors. We strive to make this a peaceful oasis for people to rest and getaway. The bed was comfy and it was good to have extra blankets.We could not find instructions for the operation of the TV. There were three remotes available, but no directions to explain their use. We called the property owner for assistance, but did not receive a follow-up call to the voice mail message. This was not an issue that keeps us from rating the overall experience as five star, but might be a significant factor for tenants who stay on site for more than a weekend.The place was very clean; we felt secure the entire time; and the price was reasonable. - "This cabin was perfect for our trip to the Tryon Equestrian center. The cabin had everything we needed and was so cozy and comfy. The tv didn’t work, or we couldn’t figure it out, but we didn’t need it because we were out most of the time. The bathroom sliding door was wonky so we didn’t use that either. Those would be the only issues, and they are no deal breaker. The property is beautifully maintained and was a great place to walk our little dachshund. The black out curtains made for excellent sleep. I loved it, and I will definitely stay here again. We needed a battery and I called the property manager and she brought one right over. Easy to get in touch with if you need them. "

Heading to Tryon International Equestrian Center! There is no place better to stay. Cabin 1 of 3 delightful 1 bedroom cabins that sleep up to 4 are just 1 mile for the venue! Close enough and just far enough to get away and kick back! Relax on the covered deck and enjoy a cool refreshment as you unwind from the horse show!

Unfortunately, due to increased fire risk, the N.C. Forest Service has issued a ban on all open burning and has canceled the burning permits for this county until further notice

Visit the nearby wineries for entertainment and enjoy the local wines!

Please note - prior to booking there is 25 years of age minimum requirement & must be present during the entire stay and it is strictly enforced. A Driver's License will be required and requested for all bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check-in guest will be evicted and will NOT be refunded for the entire stay.

Pet Policy: **Dogs Welcome! All dogs need to be approved by the homeowner - some restrictions apply. Non-Refundable dog fee applies $25.00 / per dog - maximum 2. Please note without prior knowledge to Love rentals there will be a minimum of $500.00 and in some cases can be up to $1,000 so please ensure you advise us BEFORE you travel. Dog owners accept full responsibility for the dog.

No Smoking of any kind is permitted in the property: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $500.00 penalty fee.

Supplies: An initial supply of the following of basic items are provided: paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, and hand soap. Please replenish any items which are completely gone.

Instead of security deposits and booking fees, each booking includes LoveRentals Protect, a limited property protection plan, to provide peace of mind to both our guests and homeowners. The fee for LoveRentals Protect is applied to each booking and covers up to $10,000.00 in contents damage protection and up to $1,000,000.00 in real property protection. Exceptions include but are not limited to cancellations, intentional acts, negligent conduct, and pet damage.

Enjoy the excitement of the Tryon International Equestrian Center and return to your private log cabin retreat on 36 acres to relax and unwind.

Located a convenient 10 minutes from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, 20 minutes to FENCE and 30 minutes to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park, this charming 3 bedroom /2.5 bath Blue Ridge log cabin sleeps 8 and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Located on 36 private wooded acres in the heart of hunt country, the property features a 5 mile nature trail and stream that borders the property, plus ample parking for your horse trailer. Newly fenced pastures are available for your horses to enjoy with prior approval by owner.

You will immediately appreciate the expansive decks and covered porches that wrap around the entire cabin. Spend leisurely mornings enjoying a cup of coffee or evenings with a cool beverage outdoors on the deck enjoying the natural setting. Once inside, you’ll find comfortable seating for a crowd with a cozy, homey feeling. The charming living room offers a large flat screen TV over the stacked stone fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the open concept dining and kitchen. The dining table and breakfast bar seating along with an overflow table in the adjacent breezeway ensures there’s seating for a crowd. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal. A laundry room complete with a full size washer and dryer and a half bathroom complete this space. Grab a glass of wine from the wine chiller in the breezeway and relax on the back deck. The back deck, easily accessed directly from the breezeway or through French doors off the dining room, features a new gas grill, patio seating and dining table for 6, perfect for outdoor barbecues and al fresco dining.

Back inside on the main level, you’ll find the master bedroom suite with a large master bath that features a Jacuzzi garden tub and separate shower that offers direct access to the exterior wrap around deck. Upstairs are 2 large, comfortable guest rooms with queen size beds that share a full bath and an office space complete with desk and Wi-Fi access.

A private bonus room above the garage, perfect for children or teenagers, is accessed by a separate staircase inside the breezeway. The bonus room sleeps two and is furnished with twin beds, wicker seating and a flat screen TV. A window AC unit keeps this space cooler than a cucumber-even on hot August afternoons. The attached double car garage includes a second refrigerator for additional food storage.

- "This is the third year we stayed for the holidays in this cabin. But this year we decided to spend Christmas as well. Great idea!! A total of 10 days and we hated to leave! Like most families, we are always on the go and finding time to connect is limited to dinner. We come to the cabin to rest, relax, and connect. That is exactly what we did. Made all our meals together, played board games, when on hikes, and re-connected. I don’t remember the last time we all slept in! Everything about the cabin is wonderful. It is clean, fully stocked kitchen with pots and pants. More than enough linen and towels and anything you can think of. to make you feel at home."

Relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the heart of our 26-acre horse farm, our guest cabin is only 2 minutes from the Mountain Brook Vineyards, and only 12 minutes from TIEC.

We are close to Landrum, Columbus, Tryon, Rutherfordton, Spindale and Forest City. And only an hour from Asheville, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

The space
It's 700 square feet of cabin coziness. Wake up to deer, turkey, and of course, horses. Plenty of walking trails and a stream to explore nature. For pets, there is a fenced yard adjacent to the cabin.

The laundry room is in the small shed between the house and the garage.

The cabin can sleep a maximum of 6 guests, but really it is ideal for a family of four. The last bed is a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room and once open the space is very limited.

Guest access
Feel free to explore the farm. We have a number of trails and a nice stream near the cabin.

Other things to note
Parking is in front of the 2-car garage to the right of the cabin. The garage itself is used for storage, so it's not available for parking your vehicle.

The space
This brand new log cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed, dresser and TV, a loft with 2 double mattresses and single bunk beds in the hall area It’s a cozy 400 square feet with a nice size eat in kitchen and living room with a nice deck. There is also a patio area with seating and a firepit. You will find all the amenities you need for a weekend or month at this cabin.

Dogs are welcome to stay with their owners Please include them in your booking along with exactly how many people will be staying so the cabin is prepared appropriately. I frequently do yard work and water flowers on the properties so , although you may not see me I will know how many people and pets are staying
