The Green River Log Cabin has everything you need featuring a fireplace, flat screen TV, dishwasher and wifi internet connection and kitchen ready for a cook. Use the cabin as your own private retreat and explore the trails, woods and creeks on the land. Or use the cabin as your starting/end points as you explore the Foothills of Polk County or attend one of the many equestrian events in the heart of Green Creek. We are at a perfect location for waterfall hiking, kayaking or tubing the Green River, zip lining the Gorge, antiquing in Landrum or even going to the many unique breweries between here & Asheville including the new Sierra Nevada Brewery.

The cabin has a new Queen size bed and bedding/furniture from Pottery Barn/West Elm. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Guests will not only have access to the cabin, but can also go for walks and explore the 28 acre farm. Part of the farm is pastures and over half is forests of both hardwood and multiple types of pine trees with creeks throughout.

Guests are asked not to enter the pastures or barns which are home to our horses, miniature donkeys, goats and young steer Romeo.

Our beautiful Imagine Equus Farm property is on 28 acres and located just minutes from several amazing wineries and the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The cabin itself has a very comfortable high end queen bed with organic cotton sheets and tasteful decor. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to cook your meals if you like or we have many great farm to table restaurants in the area. The cabin has all you need to stayed plugged into the outside world with high speed Wifi internet and Dish cable TV. However, probably most attractive is the connection to nature and animals you can experience here. You can hike through our woods, sit by the creek, visit our own little waterfall or even get kisses from Romeo our young steer. (And official greeter) The cabin is designed to provide you with privacy and convenience. It is set back in the woods, yet has parking out front and is private from the rest of the going ons at the farm. This is cozy updated smoke free mobile home. Sleeps 4. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Fully equipped kitchen, a stocked laundry room, 2 covered decks, a gas grill and fire pit on the front deck and an outdoor fire pit with firewood in the back. It is nestled behind the main home on the edge of our 5-acre gated horse farm overlooking 1 of 2 horse pastures. It comes with access to a 1/4 acre fenced dog run for guests with pets and a place to park 2 vehicles. (Sorry, no smoking allowed on the property.)

All stainless-steel kitchen appliances with a fully stocked Keurig coffee and tea station plus a traditional coffee pot. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware and spices needed to cook a complete meal, The living room has a 65" smart TV, with high-speed internet access, (100's a stations plus Netflix and Pandora are on us.) Office workstation is equipped with a 2 large 27" flat screen monitors, keyboard and wireless mouse. The Master bedroom has a 50" smart TV, a 4 post queen bed, a large master bath, walk in closet. Master bath has large walk-in shower and as bonus it has its own bidet. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a large picture window overlooking the dog run. The back deck has an inflatable Coleman hot tub. We do not advertise the hot tub as an amenity. (freebie)

Pet rules:
Up-to-date rabies vaccinations and flea & tick prevention is required. No Pitbull's or aggressive dogs allowed. We have 2 fenced dog runs. Wire fenced back yard and a 1/4 acre wire fenced dog run for the critters to play in. We have 2 dog beds and a 2 dog crates available for when you leave the dogs alone in the home. Dogs must be crated when you are not on the property and leashed if not inside 1 of the 2 the fenced areas.

The kitchen was well furnished with cooking utensils and chilled beverages were waiting in the fridge upon our arrival. Nice touch. There was a good supply of bathroom linens and we appreciated the hand grips in the shower. The bed was comfy and it was good to have extra blankets.We could not find instructions for the operation of the TV. There were three remotes available, but no directions to explain their use. We called the property owner for assistance, but did not receive a follow-up call to the voice mail message. This was not an issue that keeps us from rating the overall experience as five star, but might be a significant factor for tenants who stay on site for more than a weekend.The place was very clean; we felt secure the entire time; and the price was reasonable. Inasmuch as we have family in the Tryon area we would not hesitate to make arrangements to use this location again."

Your private, elevated tent site, includes a waterproof, safari, white duck tent. The tent has four windows and a wood burning stove for those cold nights. It has a queen bed, mattress, and fresh linens.

No more ‘hikers midnight!’ Stay up past sunset with the light from the solar chandelier hanging from the 8ft ceilings.

Leave the ramen at home and whip up a gourmet meal in the outdoor prep space complete with propane cooktop stove, utensils, and cooler for perishables items.

Additional guests or kids are welcome to join with ‘permission.’

Our gravel road takes you to our footbridge that you will use to cross the creek. From here, it is about 150 ft. to the glamping site. We provide a wagon to cart luggage and food to site. Outdoor shoes suggested.

- "This cabin was perfect for our trip to the Tryon Equestrian center. The cabin had everything we needed and was so cozy and comfy. The tv didn’t work, or we couldn’t figure it out, but we didn’t need it because we were out most of the time. The bathroom sliding door was wonky so we didn’t use that either. Those would be the only issues, and they are no deal breaker. The property is beautifully maintained and was a great place to walk our little dachshund. The black out curtains made for excellent sleep. I loved it, and I will definitely stay here again. We needed a battery and I called the property manager and she brought one right over. Easy to get in touch with if you need them. "
