The space
This large studio boasts all the comforts of home. Main sleeping area has a queen bed with hypoallergenic feather topper and super soft sheets. Couch opens up to full size bed (extra linens and blankets in unit). A full size, fully equipped kitchen and in unit laundry make it easy to save time and money. Bathroom is equipped with shower and bath. Big soft fluffy towels provided along with a supply of essentials.
Outside you have your own private fenced in yard with sitting area, chiminea, and gas grill. Sit and relax, watch the sunsets, and cook up your favorite meals.
NOTE: light snacks, coffee, tea and basic cooking ingredients provided. We also start you off with some basic laundry supplies.

We do live on the 4 ac property but you have the whole guest house to yourself. Quaint front porch with small fenced in yard perfect for pets and relaxing. Quiet and peaceful country setting. We provide wood for the chiminea and there is a gas grill for fixing up your favorites.

The space
Queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen size sofa sleeper bed in the den...plus blow up beds if needed.
Other things to note
Traditional teas, herbal teas, Keurig coffee of all kinds, hot chocolate packets, micro-wave popcorn, bottled water. Normal spices like salt pepper amd others. The refrigerator has ketchup mayonnaise usually a vinegrette salad dressing. Also we have a little boiled egg maker you just add water for your desired doneness and walk away in 5 minutes or so they're ready.
If you're gone for long periods, we can walk your dog/s at no charge.

Vineyards 5 minutes away probably 3 or 4 more within 15 minutes away.
Pick live fruit , blueberries strawberries peaches etc in season. Animal farms, dairy farm 5 minutes away let's you interact with their cows and lots of super fresh dairy products.
Amish bakery less than 5 minutes away and their Saturday morning fresh donuts are scrumptious not greasy ones but real old fashion donuts...we go every Saturday morning.
Lots of restaurants in the area but I will recommend only one. EL CAMPESINO in Columbus downtown. . . Ask for Miguel and tell him you're staying at Jeff's and Mindy's place.

The second story guest house apartment is is full of light and air with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Just moments away from TIEC. You will be staying in a gated community, so parking is no problem. The bathroom has a large walk in shower (with grab bars) and the bedroom is equipped with a large Sony TV. This is a great place to stay if you ride, as my house is on the FETA trails. If you're showing at TIEC, Fence or Harmon Field, I'm only 10 minutes away.
The space
My house is equally distant from the cute towns of Tryon (in North Carolina) and Landrum (in South Carolina). Both towns have interesting shops and great restaurants where you can grab a bite. Parking is no problem. There is also great antiquing. Try Tryon Antique Mall and Landrum Eclectics. Yard sales yield significant finds as well. Vineyards have a solid presence. Overmountain and Mountain Brook are two you might try. If you like movies, Tryon boasts the Tryon Theatre, an independent movie house, founded in the 1930s. Check out the telegrams from stars of that time, like David Niven and Clark Gable posted they're in the lobby.

The apartment is completely private. You'll be able to sit out on the deck if you wish. You'll have use of a full laundry room which is in the garage. The garage and laundry room are shared areas.

Perfect for a getaway, events at Tryon International Equestrian Center, local wineries, hiking, trips to waterfalls, farmers markets, peaceful relaxation, and so much more. The 350 square foot cabin consists of:

The farm includes over 15 acres of hardwood forest, guided access is available to over 2 miles of trails. Wood is provided for the fire pit located in the front yard of the cabin. Cellular signal and data through major providers is consistently available at the cabin.
