Bob Timberlake Inn at Chetola Resort offers 8 air-conditioned accommodations with fireplaces and DVD players. Beds feature premium bedding. Flat-screen televisions come with cable channels.

Business-friendly amenities include desks and complimentary newspapers, as well as phones; free local calls are provided (restrictions may apply). Our guest house is a new construction with mountain/modern decor and reclaimed wood features, detached from the main home and located above the garage. It is a great place to serve as a base for outdoor adventure and centrally located. Located in a new development less than 2 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 min. from downtown Blowing Rock, and 10 minutes from downtown Boone. There is a 0.7 mile loop to take in the fresh air surrounded by pine trees and beautiful views of Grandfather Mtn.

The space
Guests can use the sitting area and hammock at the entrance of the apartment.

If you are looking at the garage bays, the entrance is located on the left side of the guest house.

Other things to note
We will send directions and arrival instructions including parking and code to keypad 1-2 days before you arrive.

Due to pandemic you will want to make dining reservations before you arrive to ensure you can enjoy local restaurants. Message us if you would like suggestions.

We have internet TV that includes Netflix and Hulu Live. Through Hulu you can view major networks and content on cable channels. We do not have cable.

A newly renovated unique European styled home in the direct center of Blowing Rock. Zero impact from Hurricane Helene. Features fine woodworking, modern touches, a turret, old world carvings and gargoyles outside. Located directly beside The Blowing Rock Brewery, The Wine Company, and The Village Cafe. In the evenings retreat to your quartz fireplace, the pool table or back courtyard. You'll forget that you are in the direct center of town!

The space
Your own luxury accommodation with 900 square feet of inside space for your enjoyment! Spread out in our large living room, enjoy the ambiance of our quartz electric fireplace, or snuggle up on the 10 foot leather sofa with a book, turn on the fireplace to warm up or relax in our eating nook and bay window! Pamper yourself, spread out in our 1.5 full bathrooms, or cook in our full kitchen. Outside you've your own private back courtyard space as well when you wish to just unwind ... your own yard in the heart of Blowing Rock.

Our Neighbors ...
The Blowing Rock Brewery is directly across the street which makes its own beverages on site, fine food, and live entertainment. The restaurant will deliver to your door.

Wine and Things is directly to our left as you walk out the door. Enjoy their daily samplings of local and global wines paired with a variety of tastings.

Village Cafe is perhaps the best breakfast or brunch you'll ever have. Open only the warm 3 seasons of the year it is directly to your right as you walk out our front door.

Kilwins Ice Cream ... while its entrance is on Main Street, we share parking with them in our back and is a traditional favorite of our guests.

Down and up the street are fine restaurants, shops, the park, and local events all with in a 2 minute walk out the door. We are truly a unique and the only rental in the center of Blowing Rock.

We have a second vacation rental in the building that is located upstairs from your main living quarters during your stay, we ask that you pls show consideration to your neighbors.

Guest access
You'll have the guest house to yourself as well as the patio space in our courtyard. Guests share with our upper unit, The Biergarten Luxe, the lower courtyard grill and Adirondack chairs.

Other things to note
PARKING - we provide you one parking spot that is a standard residential parking spot size of 8’ x 20’. If you have more than one car or if you have an oversized vehicle, including mirrors, which hang out larger than 8 feet please let us know in advance so we can work with you on your best parking options, standard size cars, and pick up trucks and SUVs we get in regularly. It’s only if you have something super big that we need to know. We likewise cannot support any type of trailers towed vehicles. Or other items that might hang out wider, or longer than the dimensions of above. That doesn’t mean don’t come, but it does mean we may have to work out an on the street option for you. Or talk to a neighbor about if you can use one of their spots.

High Speed Internet & TV: Work with confidence from this residence as the WiFi is supported by in ground fiber hosted by Spectrum. The high speed internet is complimented with a modern smart tv opposed to traditional cable, on it are 150 channels and you’re welcome to add apps and login with your own home providers as you’d like.

When you book with us we'll ask you to confirm your person count and vehicle count as well as reconfirm agreement with our House Rules. There is pretty typical stuff there like "no parties", but also usage tips on our rental that may be helpful. Our house rules are at the bottom of the listing by clicking through the section titled "House Rules". They are restated in the house manual found in the cabin as well. We will ask that you agree to these rules within 48 hours of booking (or immediately if the window to your stay start is less than 48 hours) via an online written “I Agree” statement back to us that you agree that your stay is bound by these house rules. This on line copy is considered always the most current version of our house rules and supersedes any other printed or written material.
