- "I loved everything I recommend it" - "The breakfast was amazing! " - "Our stay was excellent! The historic inns have been lovingly restored. The staff is warm and accommodating and communicated with us before we arrived and throughout our stay. Finally, we loved the historic neighborhood that is walkable to restaurants. " - "What a delightful experience! After a hard week on the road making business calls from Atlanta to Greenboro, enduring “plastic breakfasts” at the HI’s and BW’s, the Summit St Inn was like an oasis in the desert. The personalised greeting from Audrey showing me to my room was just the beginning. That complimentary half bottle of Cab Sauv took the first prize as I revived in the splendour of the historic setting. The fare included a full breakfast at Founders a mere mile away. Perfect location to explore my hobbies - the music of the region (Galfax) and the scenery of the drives (Blue Ridge Parkway). Will be back with my wife for a proper holiday. Thank you Audrey and staff. Aussie Jim "

- "I found The Manor to be an unexpected jewel. It sits in the middle of an incredible park right behind it is the parks Arboretum and there is a delightful wildflower path close by. The room was on the small side. But it is perfect for a single traveler, or a couple the building itself is historic. Well-kept and lovely. Service is interesting, because there is no check in desk. I was sent two codes via email and text with instructions on how to enter the building and enter my room. It’s a great concept and you never need to worry about losing a key. The park that the hotel sits in has a gate and it felt very peaceful and secure. It does not automatically offer breakfast, but you can arrange for that through their website or calling. The minute I walked in the room, I felt this fear, lovely place to come back to with my husband and explore the park thoroughly as well as the surrounding area."
