- "I found The Manor to be an unexpected jewel. It sits in the middle of an incredible park right behind it is the parks Arboretum and there is a delightful wildflower path close by. The room was on the small side. But it is perfect for a single traveler, or a couple the building itself is historic. Well-kept and lovely. Service is interesting, because there is no check in desk. I was sent two codes via email and text with instructions on how to enter the building and enter my room. It’s a great concept and you never need to worry about losing a key. The park that the hotel sits in has a gate and it felt very peaceful and secure. It does not automatically offer breakfast, but you can arrange for that through their website or calling. The minute I walked in the room, I felt this fear, lovely place to come back to with my husband and explore the park thoroughly as well as the surrounding area."

The space
The suite is furnished with a King sized Bed with memory foam for a comfortable good night’s sleep. The accompanying ottoman also flips open into a one person bed if needed. It also has a dedicated workspace desk with a lamp, high speed internet and a Playstation 5 for break time. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare a wholesome meal as well as a curiously interesting portable dishwasher. For those traveling with infants or babies, there is even a crib for parent’s peace of mind and the bathroom has a tub (and shower) for bath time.

As far as entertainment, the suite is equipped with a 65 inch curved Samsung Smart TV so you can sign-in to you streaming service of choice and catch up on your favorite shows.

The mother in law suite is in the back of our main building which is a historical 1910 home and is used by the owner and other Airbnb guests from time to time. But the back yard and deck are shared spaces available to you. For those with electric cars, we also have a level 2 fast charger that is available for use. So if you are in town, come give us a visit.

The downstairs apartment is self-contained with private access through a code. Sleeping arrangements include a King bed and a couch that can be converted into a daybed upon request. The kitchen has many amenities and a stovetop, oven, toaster and coffee pot. Coffee and vegan creamer will be provided as well as some spices and oil. The property includes many acres to explore with a view similar to many parks. The backyard slopes down into a meadow and back up into a forest. Your host is a trained forest therapy practitioner and this can be an additional fee add-on if you would like guided time to recharge on the property.

Sometimes there will be children present upstairs and you may here the litter patter of some little feet and some larger feet. There will also be times when the house is more quiet, this varies depending on the day. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults but 4 adults could fit if using the daybed. Families are welcome and there is an entertainment room. The TV is Roku accessible and a WiFi passcode will be provided.

There are two dogs that live in the house upstairs. As the indoor areas are completely separate there wouldn’t be a chance for the dogs to interact. Occasionally they will be outside on the property. Welcome to our little slice of backyard heaven! Our pool house is tucked away behind our home, and looks out onto our outdoor saltwater pool. The pool house features a full kitchen for your convenience. The house has an open, airy feel with it's vaulted, shiplapped ceilings. Open the french doors to the pool deck anytime you like and enjoy a beverage beside our fire table.

The space
Our pool house is completely private, but you still get the pool view and access! The house’s kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and dinnerware. The bedroom and bathroom are completely private from the main living area that looks out on to the pool. The bedroom connects to the bathroom, but both are also accessible from the main living area.

You are invited to fully enjoy every part of our pool house and pool deck! If the weather permits for our pool to be open, you are invited to swim anytime you like! During the colder months, the pool will not be open for swimming, and will be covered. We also have laundry facilities from an outdoor entrance on the pool deck. The Bee Happy is perfect for a small family or up to 3 adults. We believe pets are family too, so your pet is always welcome at the Bee Happy (please see our Pet Policy below for full details).

The Bee Happy is located on the top floor of separate building from the main house and is not shared with anyone. It is complete with its own private parking, deck and fenced area for you and your pet to enjoy. Sit back, relax, listen to wildlife all around or stargaze at the heavens. The enclosed space is yours alone. The host is in the main house, but offer you all the privacy you will need. You will not be disturbed during your stay.

We love pets and know how important they are to you and your family so we do not charge nightly pet fees. Our neighborhood is great for walking your pet. We provide a pet bed, a water & feeding station, clean-up supplies and disposal station, and treats for your convenience. Please let us know if you will need these items prior to your arrival. We have a PET POLICY listed below. By continuing with your reservation request, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to our pet policy.

Please take a look around at our photos. We pride ourselves on providing a upscale, clean, comfortable space. Please make sure you read our House Rules which must be adhered to during your stay.

We ask that you leave the unit as you found it. Additionally, you will have to ensure your pet is cared for, poop scooped, leaves no fleas behind and causes no damage to our property (as stated in the PET POLICY).

Parties are not allowed without written approval from the host and negotiated in advance. Failure to abide by this rule is cause for immediate eviction.

We are crazy about cleaning and use Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process. We sanitize high-touch areas & use cleaning checklists. We follow Covid cleaning protocols when regulations are in place.

PET POLICY:
This policy ensures that we can continue not charging a pet deposit and/or fee. By continuing your reservation, you are agreeing to this policy. As the pet owner, you must agree to:

1. Keep your pets off of the furniture/protect the furniture from pet use with the blankets provided or other means.
2. Clean up after your pet in the AIrbnb, including removing pet hair from floors or furniture.
3. Report any damage your pet may have made and potentially make restitution.
4. Ensure your pet does not have fleas.
5. Clean up any pet waste from outside. There is a doggie poop station and baggies for your convenience.

We welcome pets and especially dogs (I too, travel with my dogs). We like to make sure that the Bee Happy remains a clean unit for all of our travelers so that is why we have a high standard of cleaning. We hope you understand our strict policy of owner responsibility. Should we need to clean up after your pet in any manner, we will charge a Pet Clean-up fee of $50, payable immediately by one of our payment apps. (As of Today, we have only charged a pet cleaning fee two times. Our guests have been responsible for their pets and we appreciate it.) As long as you are aware and agree to these terms, we do not charge pet fees or pet deposits and welcome your four legged family members into our home away from your home. We provide a doggie bed ( one) and a set of pet bowls (one large, one small). Additionally, we have pet blankets (to cover furniture and prevent hair accumulation and damage) and pet foot wipes, lint rollers & pet towels should you need them. All will be in the unit for your convenience.
