Cozy basement apartment with private entrance right off the Blue Ridge Parkway! Peaceful dead end street with Mountain View in the Beautiful Roanoke Valley! Close to downtown, restaurants, Mill Mountain Star, hiking trails and Mill Mountain Zoo. This space has two bedrooms, one full bath, one half bath, kitchenette, living room and kitchen bar. Private entrance, patio with a grill and space for eating outside. Come relax in this peaceful space while being close to everything!

The space
This has been me and my husbands home for over 15 years. Recently, we completely renovated the basement into a beautiful, cozy “mini apartment”. It is completely separate from our living space with its own entrance/ exit.

The house along with the front and back yard is fenced in. We also have a big side yard that is not fenced in.

In addition I would like to note that our place is a lot more suited towards short stays as we do not have a full kitchen for cooking. We do have a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and table top electric stove!

Book a stay at the Boho Bungalow and enjoy the best of what Roanoke has to offer. This guesthouse is nestled in a private setting with trees and a privacy fence surrounding the house with a gravel driveway and parking space. Stay in and watch TV, play games, read books, enjoy the outdoor patio, or make a delicious meal with the fully stocked kitchen.
If you want to explore the area, the Bungalow is less than 10 min from downtown Roanoke, as well as local shopping and restaurants.

The space
This guest house is located behind a home in a quaint, sweet neighborhood. The gravel driveway to the right of the “main house” is for Bungalow guests. The home is fenced in on all sides, so guests will have complete privacy and access to the the entire guesthouse, without sharing a yard, driveway, or any other space. The patio is a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors under the umbrella at the table or in the sun at the seating area.
The main living area in the Bungalow has a couch that converts into a full size bed. Linens and pillows are provided. The bookcase shelves books, games, and kid-specific entertainment (puzzles, books, toys and games just for them!).

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, hand held mixer, cookie sheet, cake pan, etc. It also has a toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, and microwave. Coffee, sugar and tea are provided.
The bathroom is luxuriously large. A full size, front loading washer and dryer set are available for guest use. The walk-in shower is full size with a seat for comfort and ease.
The bedroom features a queen bed, closet, and desk work area.

Guest access
Full access to everything in the guesthouse. Yard, gravel driveway, and parking in front of the Bungalow fence are all just for guesthouse guests.

Other things to note
This guesthouse is completely separate with its own driveway and boarded by fence on all sides. The Bungalow driveway will take you to a private retreat where everything is your’s to enjoy and your’s alone. Please only park in the gravel driveway.

Pet policy: please let us know through an AirBnB message if you plan to bring a pet. Our pet policy includes: Pets are not allowed on furniture, including the couch and chairs in the living room. If excessive pet hair is found on furniture or on linens/towels/blankets, a higher pet fee (up for $300) will be collected. By booking our AirBnB, you agree to this policy.

Get away to the country in beautiful Montvale. We are 1.7 miles off US460 between Roanoke and Bedford. We have views of the Peaks of Otter, horses across the street, and nearby hiking trails. Our private 2 bedroom apartment is a great place to relax and unplug. Fully functional, furnished kitchen with microwave, fridge, full size stove and Keurig. We are 30 minutes to downtown Roanoke, 40 minutes to Lynchburg, 20 minutes to the Peaks of Otter. No pets please.

The space
The inside is a new renovation, about 550 square feet. Everything is in excellent condition. We have also added a propane grill to our patio space for guest use. We do not have WIFI available. We do have good cell phone service.

Guest access
We are less than 4 miles from Diamond V Farms wedding venue and Layman Family Farm which hosts a family friendly corn maze with hay rides, games and lots of activities for the kids every fall. Many of our guests are hikers and enjoy easy access to the various hiking trails in our area.

Other things to note
Our cottage is about 550 sq ft and only has one bathroom so no more than 4 guests are allowed.

WE ARE USING COVID PRTOCOL for the safey of our guests.
The Inn was built in 1907 and bathrooms in every bedroom in 1925..with it being such a large structure many folks feel as if they are the only folks here..great for privacy. Piano players may tinkle the ivories of our baby grand piano in the living room..:lots of board games found in the tv stand on the sunporch. Will love love the rocking chairs on the 77’ long veranda..great for sipping beverages. Come see us!
