Cozy basement apartment with private entrance right off the Blue Ridge Parkway! Peaceful dead end street with Mountain View in the Beautiful Roanoke Valley! Close to downtown, restaurants, Mill Mountain Star, hiking trails and Mill Mountain Zoo. This space has two bedrooms, one full bath, one half bath, kitchenette, living room and kitchen bar. Private entrance, patio with a grill and space for eating outside. Come relax in this peaceful space while being close to everything!

The space
This has been me and my husbands home for over 15 years. Recently, we completely renovated the basement into a beautiful, cozy “mini apartment”. It is completely separate from our living space with its own entrance/ exit.

The house along with the front and back yard is fenced in. We also have a big side yard that is not fenced in.

In addition I would like to note that our place is a lot more suited towards short stays as we do not have a full kitchen for cooking. We do have a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and table top electric stove!

Book a stay at the Boho Bungalow and enjoy the best of what Roanoke has to offer. This guesthouse is nestled in a private setting with trees and a privacy fence surrounding the house with a gravel driveway and parking space. Stay in and watch TV, play games, read books, enjoy the outdoor patio, or make a delicious meal with the fully stocked kitchen.
If you want to explore the area, the Bungalow is less than 10 min from downtown Roanoke, as well as local shopping and restaurants.

The space
This guest house is located behind a home in a quaint, sweet neighborhood. The gravel driveway to the right of the “main house” is for Bungalow guests. The home is fenced in on all sides, so guests will have complete privacy and access to the the entire guesthouse, without sharing a yard, driveway, or any other space. The patio is a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors under the umbrella at the table or in the sun at the seating area.
The main living area in the Bungalow has a couch that converts into a full size bed. Linens and pillows are provided. The bookcase shelves books, games, and kid-specific entertainment (puzzles, books, toys and games just for them!).

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls, hand held mixer, cookie sheet, cake pan, etc. It also has a toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, and microwave. Coffee, sugar and tea are provided.
The bathroom is luxuriously large. A full size, front loading washer and dryer set are available for guest use. The walk-in shower is full size with a seat for comfort and ease.
The bedroom features a queen bed, closet, and desk work area.

Guest access
Full access to everything in the guesthouse. Yard, gravel driveway, and parking in front of the Bungalow fence are all just for guesthouse guests.

Other things to note
This guesthouse is completely separate with its own driveway and boarded by fence on all sides. The Bungalow driveway will take you to a private retreat where everything is your’s to enjoy and your’s alone. Please only park in the gravel driveway.

Pet policy: please let us know through an AirBnB message if you plan to bring a pet. Our pet policy includes: Pets are not allowed on furniture, including the couch and chairs in the living room. Get away to the country in beautiful Montvale. We are 1.7 miles off US460 between Roanoke and Bedford. We have views of the Peaks of Otter, horses across the street, and nearby hiking trails. Our private 2 bedroom apartment is a great place to relax and unplug. Fully functional, furnished kitchen with microwave, fridge, full size stove and Keurig. We are 30 minutes to downtown Roanoke, 40 minutes to Lynchburg, 20 minutes to the Peaks of Otter. No pets please.

The space
The inside is a new renovation, about 550 square feet. Everything is in excellent condition. We have also added a propane grill to our patio space for guest use. We do not have WIFI available. We do have good cell phone service.

Guest access
We are less than 4 miles from Diamond V Farms wedding venue and Layman Family Farm which hosts a family friendly corn maze with hay rides, games and lots of activities for the kids every fall. Many of our guests are hikers and enjoy easy access to the various hiking trails in our area.

Our cottage is about 550 sq ft and only has one bathroom so no more than 4 guests are allowed.

The Inn was built in 1907 and bathrooms in every bedroom in 1925..with it being such a large structure many folks feel as if they are the only folks here..great for privacy. Piano players may tinkle the ivories of our baby grand piano in the living room..:lots of board games found in the tv stand on the sunporch. Will love love the rocking chairs on the 77’ long veranda..great for sipping beverages. Come see us!

The Carriage House is a private, two-story guest house situated in a secluded courtyard at Bent Oaks Manor. Originally built in 1910, it was recently renovated to provide more contemporary comforts of living. The Carriage House is centrally located in Roanoke's historic Old Southwest District, only about a mile from the center of Downtown Roanoke.

The space
With its recent renovation, the 114-year-old carriage house now provides a comfortable and safe place for travelers. With its tin roof and original pine flooring upstairs, the space is truly unique. The house displays the cool artwork, locally-sourced antiques and artisans goods giving it an inviting and personal touch.

First floor: The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher... the dishwasher is about as old as the Carriage House but remains very functional! All cookware, kitchenware and spices necessary for meal preparation are provided. There is a large table that can be used for eating as well as working or studying. The living room features a brand new sleep sofa couch, electric fireplace, and flat-screen Sony TV. WiFi is provided.

Second floor: The bedroom has a queen-sized Perfect Cloud mattress and room-darkening shades. The bed is made with clean linens and blankets while the bathroom is filled with fresh bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer are also provided.

Children are welcome to stay here, however, please note that the stairs in the home are original (1910). They are narrow and steep. We strongly advise against leaving small children unattended or without direct supervision in the space.

Guest access
The Carriage House is a detached two-story structure directly behind the main house at Bent Oaks Manor with its own private entry. Parking is a few feet away and within the security and privacy of the courtyard.

Guests are welcome to sit in our garden retreat... lined with glowy Edison lights that come on each night automatically. The Manor's front porch is also a relaxing spot with a swing and rocking chairs.

The original staircase is narrow and steep!

There is a narrow entrance into the property. Trailers/U-Hauls may have to be parked on a nearby street.

Secluded residence on 25 acres of woods. 8 minutes by car to Walmart. You will occasionally hear garage doors go up/down.

The space
Ideal if you are looking for a place to stay while in town for a VT football game, or for graduation (30 min drive). Lots of deer sightings, wild turkeys, and more. Pool/hot tub use NOT guaranteed. SEASONAL, upon request, and only open until 10:00PM.
This accommodation is NOT ideal if you’re looking to be within walking distance to stores or restaurants. Garage doors will occasionally go up/down.

Guest access
Guests will have their own kitchen, full bath, internet access, cable TV, washer/dryer. Linens, towels, dishes, silverware included, coffee machine, snacks and drinks.

Enjoy our country retreat minutes away from the East Coast's famous Blue Ridge Appalachian Trail & the Roanoke Valley's finest dining spots; or stay home for a home cooked meal adjacent to our unique waterfall patio. The Stonebridge Cottage is a private guest house offering the perfect mix of cozy & country with a resort-like finish. This property is part of the Sak's House Creek Retreat and can be reserved with the main house which sleeps up to 14 (9 beds).

The space
After waking up, have coffee or breakfast on the tiled floored, all glass breezeway before a morning of fishing, boating or swimming along the custom stone-built canal. Then have an outdoor lunch on the creek-side waterfall patio. Enjoy a world renown hike or visit the nearby historic towns of New Castle or Salem in the afternoon. Finally, enjoy the fire-pit or indoor gas logs with a wine or cocktail that evening before a gourmet kitchen-made dinner, followed by a quiet county rest in a king size master bed (or queen size guest bed). For the night owls, enjoy a soak in the hot tub while listening to the rush of the falls.

Guest access
Our property has on site, private parking for two or three cars comfortably. You are welcome to explore anywhere on the 4 acre property just don't drive on the grass and please be respectful of guests (or owners) that may be staying in the main house.

Other things to note
The Stonebridge Cottage is located about 50 yards from the main Sak's House which will likely be reserved to other guests if not reserved by your party. Although the creek shoreline is shared, each house has its own designated yard and private waterfront areas which are visible to adjacent properties including the glider port across the creek. All guests are encouraged to be considerate of guests and neighbors who may be using the waterfront.

Located across the street from a popular bakery and bistro and walking distance to downtown, you will be close to everything while able to enjoy a historic building that stands out from others in the area with its unique architecture and history. There are two good sized bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and pleasant living and working spaces. In addition you will have access to a shared space and backyard that includes various recreation options including a fire pit, hot tub, and sauna.
