This cute, brand-new studio is a few miles from WakeMed-Cary and has an abundance of trails where you can walk to a few lakes. Trader Joe's or Barnes and Noble is a 25-minute trail walk away. NCSU is only a 15 minute car-ride away.
The area is located in the suburbs of Raleigh, NC. You will find that downtown Cary has a charming downtown Cary Park and social district where you can get a drink and watch the doggies play in the dog park.
Access to the gym and pool is available upon request.
The space
The basement studio is a new construction built as an efficient and charming space that has it all: kitchenette, bedroom with a queen bed, washer/dryer, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. You will have your own entrance through the side gate. One car parking space is provided. You can either park in the carport down a steep driveway, or on the street.
There is an outdoor living space where you can sit, drink, and listen to the sounds of nature in the backyard. There is a charcoal grill you can use, a fire pit, and patio string lights to plug at night.
North Carolina's spring and fall seasons are pleasant but summers can be brutally humid. Please don't hesitate to ask for a fan if you'd like to chill outside, or tell us if you'd like access to the neighborhood pool, courts, or gym. Our pool is one of the most beautiful neighborhood pools in the world.
Guest access
Guests enter from the side gate. There is a private entrance and keyless entry. You have the use of the backyard and the lower deck and patio.

Cute studio apartment with a private entrance that is located above the garage. The garage is not used for parking so there is no noise of garage doors. Studio is well stocked for a comfortable stay with full bath, washer and dryer and kitchenette with full refrigerator, dishwasher and stove.
This is a great get away. Wegmans is close by, plus plenty of shopping. About 6 miles to the RDU Airport.

Studio is privately located in separate building with own heating and air conditioning. Queen size bed. Dedicated parking space next to unit entrance with motion detection lighting. Unit has multiple use areas - sitting area with couch, workstation/eating bar, TV area with chair, closet, floor space for yoga/exercise, bathroom with fully tiled shower and outside landing with table and two chairs. Studio entrance and parking is behind the main house (located on South Walker street) via gravel alley (Heater Cottage Alley) behind the main house as shown in photo. Guests can walk either direction on alleyway to access streets that lead directly to park and downtown attractions. Studio is close to everything, but quiet.
The owners may use the garage under the studio to put cars in and out - no other activities, but they take great care in being quiet. Generally during very reasonable hours. The garage has a very quiet garage door opener and the floor is well insulated, so may not even hear it.
Guest access
You'll have private access to the studio, outside sitting area on stairway landing and own parking space at the entrance of the studio loft. It's in a separate building from the main house.

The alley to the studio has a street sign "Heater Cottage Alley". We provided photos of both the front and back of the property to help you find us. Arriving after dark look for small light over outside staircase. Look for "337" on the staircase.

Our house and those adjacent to it are among the newest and most notable homes in downtown Cary due to their design and locations. While they face South Walker street the parking and entrance is behind the homes on a quaint gravel alley that can be challenging to find, especially at night. It runs parallel to South Walker Street directly behind all the homes. After passing the homes take the first right or left, depending on travel direction and look for what appears to be a gravel driveway leading behind the homes, that's the alleyway.

The apartment is on the left side of a large blue house, above the garage. Guests may park on the left side of the driveway in front of the gates leading to the back yard. The entrance to the apartment is on the front/left side of the garage. Note – there are steps leading from the driveway to the apartment.
There is an electronic key pad on the door. A code will be provided to guests before they arrive. When leaving, press the lock icon on the key pad to secure the apartment.
