The owners are friendly and helpful (Thanks for some excellent restaurant suggestions!). A couple of the appliances in the room were a little noisy at night, but we simply unplugged them and all was well. We had to do the same with a nightlight under one of the nightstands because it wouldn’t stay off, but again, not a major issue. My partner suggested adding a full-length mirror in the room for added convenience, but other than those quibbles, we really enjoyed our stay and we’d be happy to do it again."

Within minutes of the townhome you have beautiful public parks and greenways, amazing restaurants, a quaint downtown area with coffee shops, ice cream, and even a boutique movie theater. We usually try to leave the latest issue of Cary magazine on the coffee table for guests to find some fun activities. There are often festivals, concerts, parades and more to enjoy while in town.

Cary is one of the safest towns in America so it provides a very welcoming atmosphere for any guest.

House Rules & Notes:

Please note that there are some fees that will be required to be paid after booking such as:

1) Refundable $300 Damage Security Deposit - This will be a hold on your account and will be automatically released 3 days after your check-out date provided the property was left undamaged.
2) Pet Fee - we charge $100/pet per reservation (when applicable)
3) Transaction fee of $5 for the processing of the security deposit

There are two dedicated parking spots labelled with the address number. Please only park in these spots in order to avoid being towed. There are some public bus routes that stop near the entrance to the townhome community but the easiest form of travel is by rental car (contact us if you are interested in ours), uber, lyft, cycling, and if you have some stamina - walking.

Early arrival or late departure is on a case by case basis, depending on the cleaners schedule. We need to allow the cleaning crew ample time to make sure the space is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before the next stay.

Absolutely NO parties or events, gatherings, functions of any kind, loud music, excessive noise, offensive behavior, illegal firearms or weapons, illegal substances including narcotics, drug paraphernalia, fireworks, sparklers, or incendiary devices, and illegal activities.

Please note that this is a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. Kindly keep any music at a reasonable level and be respectful of our neighbors. Any reports of excess noise could result in guests being asked to leave. We have recently had complaints from our neighbors of door slamming late at night waking them up as well as car alarms etc. Please help us be great neighbors by keeping quiet hours in mind.

Security cameras are installed (legally) over the front entrance and rear entrance.

For insurance purposes, it's important that the # of guests match the booking. Other overnight guests not listed at the time of booking is strictly prohibited by them. If at any time you are expecting additional guests, please let us know prior. You are also responsible for any visitors that enter the rental property.

While this is a family friendly home, it is not child proof. If you have any children with you during your stay, please mind them at all times.

Please respect the home as if it were your own and leave the home in the SAME condition as you find it.

For makeup removal, please USE BLACK towels provided.

Report any issues, damages and breakages immediately.

Garbage must be tied tight and placed in the bin at the back gate. Strictly no trash is to be left inside.

Smoking of any kind (includes vaping) is strictly prohibited in the home; if smoking outside, do so with all doors and windows completely closed and please pick up and dispose of all remnants.

Although we do welcome dogs, you must make sure all pets are placed on your reservation and disclosed at time of booking. We also ask that pets are kept off furniture at all times and that you take responsibility for any damage/mess caused by your pet.

Gas Blackstone grill is for your use - please make sure the gas is turned off and the grill cleaned before you leave.

Please only use candles in case of a power outage, and make sure they're attended.

Consequences relating to non-compliance of Codes of Conduct or House Rules include, but are not limited to extra charges, early termination, immediate eviction and further recovery action relating to any damage, loss or theft. Any breach may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and a report lodged with the local authorities.

It belongs to a row of homes starting from the Carpenter Upchurch road to Morrisville Carpenter intersection including the Carpenter Farm Supply Store, one of its kind. Search 3041 Carpenter Upchurch Road to view its charm. By the designation, the homes and store all retains its original façade and construction. In many aspect, not much has change since the 20’s. Therefore, be prepare to be charm by our pasts.

There are four parking spaces on the lot.

1. Front parking allows 2 vehicle.
2. One parking space by the detached storage building.
3. If more is needed, two parking spaces available on the right side of the home.

RESERVATION POLICIES:

1 - Door codes are always shared at 4 PM. The check-in time frame is from 4 PM-11 PM, anytime after that would be considered a violation of our rules, this timeframe allows us to help if needed during our working hours(8AM-12AM).
2 - Early check-in, Late check-out, and Early bag drop are subject to availability
3 - Door codes will not be shared if the incidentals deposit of $200 and registration are still pending.
4 - Deposit is released 3-7days after the original check-out date,
5 - All complaints must be notified after 30 mins of check-in.
6 - All departures must be reported immediately in a very clear way to us after for calendar availability to others and issue resolution for you, it is recommended to send an alteration request if needed, this helps you to get the unspent nights back while we get the calendar available again, we can then check the spent nights.
7 - All reservation changes must be done before the checkout time each day (11 AM), changes can not be done after 11 AM as per the app configuration, we can not override this.
8 - If you need an early departure, please submit an alteration request so it can easily be approved.
9 - No courtesy refunds are provided.
10 - If you happen to request a full refund for any circumstance please be ready for Immediate check-out, be sure to alternate the reservation for an early departure so we can approve the unspent nights that were supposed to be non-refundable, so we then might consider another courtesy for the spent night if applicable.
12 - If you want me to coordinate any amenities, please let me know 24 hours in advance (4 PM-12 AM) so my team can deliver or resolve on-site the next day.
13 - Extra cleanings in case of Issues or courtesies should be arranged 24 hours in advance and before 10 AM each day.

11 - INCIDENTAL DEPOSITS POLICY: Amount of the Incidentals fee hold after booking: $200. As an API software connected Host, we are entitled to ask for a preventive fee in case of damages with the usage of a 3rd party. Airbnb's policy, see here: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/140 In situations where the damages exceed the amount of the deposit, we will utilize the resolution center to address the liability for these damages. Through this process, Airbnb may either charge the cost to your card or apply AirCover for resolution.
12 - REGISTRATION POLICY
Registration is a mandatory step after booking, requiring the submission of IDs for all guests under the reservation. and even will ask you to scan your credit card. - It's crucial to complete both (Deposit and registration) accurately; failure to do so will result in your reservation termination with no refund.

Check-in is any time after 4 PM.
Check-out is at 11 AM. Please note that a late Check-out without authorization will lead to a night-rate cost penalty, that could be deducted from your security deposit.
Parties are fully prohibited. QUIET TIME FROM 10 PM TO 6 AM.
$300 penalty for smoking on the property. You will also be dismissed from your rental without a refund.
$250 penalty if noise level, parties, or other obscene behavior requires a police callout. You will also be dismissed from the property without a refund.

Damage to the interior of the property or common areas will result in a pro-rated auto-chargeback from your booking account
On checkout please turn off the lights, the A/C unit, water, and gas/stove, and lock the door behind you

Penalties will automatically be withdrawn from your security deposit and/or your booking account.

- Home is well water and septic sewer. Place waste condiments into trash bin provided. Do not place in toilet.
- Please roll trash receptacles to the curb Tuesday evening if you are staying in cottage overnight through Wednesday of that week.
- Set thermostat to 80 degree (summer) or 65 (winter).
