NO FEES! No added fees like cleaning, hosts, extra guests, NO FEES. Taxes of course but I can’t control those. This is a tiny house from a shipping container with lots of upgrades including breakfast, a hot tub, sundeck... If you compare this to a hotel, you’ll hate it. Heat and AC work great! Huge custom fireplace with ample firewood.First tiny house build mainly using materials from around the farm repurposing if possible. Not the Ritz Carlton. Maybe the Ritz of camping. So it’s either a really cool glamping adventure or a kinky getaway. Very discreet.

It’s close to town but in the countryside. All new queen bed, full size fireplace with lots of firewood, and a private new outhouse and new en-suite shower. Oh, and breakfast. %% Breaking news, not only does Victoria have Air Conditioning now, she now has an en-suite shower. Woohoo!

The converted container, which I refer to as Victoria, has come a long way since inception. This is not the Ritz Carlton (don’t tell Victoria) but more like camping with AC, electricity, and instead of a tent on the ground and a rolled up jacket to lay your head on you have a very comfortable queen size bed, a romantic, custom built fireplace and chimney. She is so sturdy she’s already served as an emergency shelter during a recent tornado warning. You have a pristine 8 person hot tub, that’s perfect for 2 at your disposal, and if you are lucky, a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Good luck! Checkout around 11am.

If you would like breakfast, please let me known the night before. I’m not professionally trained but I do make the best damn biscuits in the south (see reviews here and on other listings). Depending on the weather you are welcome to have breakfast outside on the deck or enjoy breakfast in bed. I’ll knock on the door in the morning around 8:30-9:00am. If you don’t request breakfast, I’ll just let you sleep.

Feel free to use the other amenities around the property. Large fire pit (weather permitting), seating deck with gas BBQ grill and ping pong table, and the hot tub of course. Out front are some horseshoe pits and horseshoes that will glow in the dark. I almost forgot, a movie projector is available and an awesome addition for watching anything displayed on the side of Victoria (she’s a big girl at 300” HD). Newly built outhouse with solar tank. Showers available inside your rental now or get crazy and shower in the outhouse like animals.

Decorations are a little abstract inside the rental. I encourage everyone to leave their mark like signing your names, drawing a picture, lots of art supplies and some classic board games to play with. Never been an issue but I assume everyone knows the difference between leaving your mark and vandalism. Go nuts… kinda :) You are free to explore the entire outside property. The back has an outdoor fire pit, duck pond, not yet completed, the rooftop deck, hot tub of course, and large ground level deck with bbq grill. The front yard has horseshoe pits that work well at night since they glow in the dark and a pretty sad garden this year. Not enough time to dedicate to my garden but it won’t take much. This is a bed and breakfast and breakfast is included, at least once per stay. This is not the Hilton and there may be a little dust. Think glamping very comfortably bc you are still kinda outdoors.
My 14 girlfriends do live here as well on the property. They are all well behaved Khaki Campbell ducks. Each just started laying eggs for the first time in early June. Can you try you guess all their names? 12 ex-girlfriends, 1 ex-fiancé, and 1 ex-wife. ❤️

I’m sorry to have to announce this, but no animals can be in this space. I am very allergic to cats and dogs. I’ve had years of extensive allergy shots and been allergic my whole life with swelling eyes, sinus infections and shortness of breath due to spaces where animals have been. Thank you in advance for understanding and respecting my condition. I love animals despite not being able to enjoy them fully. and NO SMOKING in or around the camper!

This is a cozy studio apartment attached to our home. We have lovingly renovated and made it cozy for your stay in Chapel Hill. It has a nice bathroom and kitchen, and king size bed. It also has a patio with lights and table and chairs. Hosts are available by message if need be.

Guests have access to the studio and the driveway, as well as their private front porch. Hosts have a fenced yard in the back and a shed that is off limit to the guests. The back yard is unfortunately not set up for guests at this time.

This is a studio attached to our home, hosts are quiet and respectful and won’t bother guests unless guests have a question, available by message. Check in is flexible if early is needed please let me know, it’s with a code on the door.

Explore Durham (8 min drive to downtown Durham, DPAC, American Tobacco, etc.) or anywhere in the Triangle from this South Durham location in the charming Tuscaloosa-Lakewood neighborhood. Walking distance to a supermarket, Cocoa Cinnamon coffee shop and restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The space
This sweet cottage, designed by a locally sought-after Durham builder, is tucked away behind a new-construction home on a quiet, safe, street of new brightly colored houses. The private cottage is decorated with vintage touches and brand new appliances and furniture. The mattress is high-quality and natural, non-toxic. The cottage is set just behind the main house, so you may see us in the yard, or on our back screened porch, if you're outside, but we'll be sure to give you your privacy :) None of the windows look out onto the main house.

This is a scent-free zone, meaning the cottage is not sprayed with fragrances or strong chemicals, and everything used in the space is natural and non-toxic, including any anti-viral disinfectants (we use alcohol and vinegar). If you're chemically sensitive, this is the right spot for you! If you're looking to stay here and you wear perfume, we ask that you not bring it with you, or book elsewhere. Any kind of room sprays or strongly synthetically scented body care products are not allowed, so we can keep the space accessible for those with respiratory issues and sensitivities. Your host has autoimmune chemical sensitivity, and cleans the place, so your cooperation also allows us to be able to keep hosting. We provide free onsite organic shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand and dish soap, so if you want to use what's here, please do!

There are blackout blinds on the windows and doors, but if you’re extra light sensitive, you may want to bring a sleep mask, as there is a small border of light that comes through on the sides.

The bathroom has a shower over a tub, so it's plenty large. You need to climb a few stairs to get to the front door of the cottage, which is locked with a coded entry (code changed between guests). A Ring security camera monitors the exterior of the front door only, for your safety (no interior cameras).

The couch is a queen-sized foldout, but when folded out, the space has limited walking area. We’re listing it for a max of three guests, but be aware, that would be tight. If you have a third guest or a kid ($30 extra charge per night), they can easily sleep on the wide, comfy un-folded-out couch and use the spare sheets and pillows in the closet to make up the couch. If you would like to fold out the couch for them, let us know, so we can make sure there are enough linens, and bear in mind, you may need to fold the couch back up to enter and exit the cottage ;)

Other things to note
We are not equipped to handle, and don't allow, the use of the booking for COVID-19 known cases as a recovery location. Being knowingly sick with COVID-19 and making a last-minute booking and not disclosing intent to use the space for recovery is grounds for cancellation of the booking and the cancellation fee applies. Please let us know if you test positive while you’re staying with us, so we can take the appropriate cleaning precautions upon checkout.

Please note there is no cooktop/oven in the cottage. It has a toaster, microwave and mini fridge/freezer, which allows for light food prep. For longer stays, please email us before booking to confirm this works for you. For safety, we do not allow plug-in cooking appliances to be brought into the cottage.

For stays longer than two weeks, we will clean the cottage and change linens every two weeks. This will incur an additional cleaning fee of $35 per cleaning, in addition to checkout cleaning fee. If you're booking long-term, please confirm you agree to this, and that the kitchenette suits your needs :) Thanks!

Cozy guest cottage backed by woods! 550 sq ft private house with loft bedroom, full kitchen and bath. 30 min from Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and 10 min to Fuquay-Varina with 10 minute access to the 40. Clean and comfy! High speed wi-fi, smart tv, and complimentary coffee, tea & snacks. Street parking-May not be a good fit for people with mobility issues. The front door is 110 steps from the street including a stone pathway down the lawn. Very dark at night-use phone light on path.

The space
Spacious 550 sq.ft guest home with vaulted ceilings, and loft bedroom. Bedroom and bathroom views look into the woods - very private and picturesque. Front porch with two rocking chairs and twinkle lights! Feel free to use the swing set. Kitchen equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, basic spices, Keurig, full fridge and island. Heating and air conditioning. A great place to have an extended stay for those working in the triangle. Very cozy for couples or nature lovers who’d like a relaxing getaway.

Home is completely private. The only shared spaces are the yard and outdoor fire area. There is not a washer or dryer, but laundry facilities are 15 minutes away in Fuquay Varina.

Other things to note
Our space is located at the bottom of a gentle sloping lawn in the back yard on the edge of woods. There is a step stone pathway from the driveway to the home, so guests who require wheelchairs or who have limited mobility or who might have a hard time carrying luggage from the street and through the back yard, may find this is not the best fit as there is some uneven ground and a substantial distance from the street to the guest house.

Child safety: We have a cozy wood-burning stove for chilly nights, (optional as there is heating) but take note to bring a large baby gate/barrier if you have small children to protect them from hot surfaces.

We have free-ranging hens who forage around our property during the day. Most guests find that fun, but if you have any issues with friendly chickens, take note:) We do not have any roosters (so no crowing or aggressive behavior).

This backhouse is located behind the main house with private access via gravel driveway and brick walkway leading directly to your front-door. Our guesthouse includes a bedroom with queen sized bed, full kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and living area with queen sized pull-out couch. You'll have your own patio and fire pit, surrounded by five acres of natural areas.

The space
You'll be able to explore our property and enjoy deep, solid sleep that you just can't get in the bright city lights. PLEASE NOTE: This is a country setting. As such, there may be more outdoor bugs (ants, wasps, flies) than are typically experienced in the city. Country life is quiet, please be mindful of our animal neighbors.

We provide fresh linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, sponges, dish towels, WIFI internet and fresh eggs when available. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking with refrigerator, freezer, oven, electric cooktop, microwave, toaster, pots and pans and small sink. We're 30 minutes to downtown Raleigh and 15 minutes from downtown Holly Springs. Both towns have lots of charm, with well curated vintage spots, restaurants, fantastic coffee shop, and more.

The space
After upgrades to the property, we are welcoming guests to our nest once again.

The nest is our retreat as well, so we stocked it full of extras.

The kitchen: touchless faucet with filtered water, coffee maker with beans (priorities!) and a grinder, kettle for heating water if you prefer tea (also stocked), all the basics, and a bar seat so you can hang out with the chef.

The bathroom: shower with bluetooth speaker shower head as well as a relaxing rain head, toilet with fancy bidet seat, huge mirror and plenty of counter space.

The living room: has a new midmod sofa bed with a memory foam mattress, reading material, tv with amazon fire stick (with Hulu, Netflix, etc), and a blueray dvd player. We don't have cable, but feel free to login to your own streaming services as well.

The bedroom: this funky, relaxing space has a new king size memory foam mattress, a closet for your hangables, full-length mirror, blackout shades, and a ceiling fan.

The dining room: seats 6 at the big table and a sliding glass door leads to the Balcony for morning coffee.

Window coverings on all windows for privacy. Most are top down, bottom up to allow sun in the top during the day.

The backyard salt water lounge pool includes in-pool lounge chairs on a tanning ledge and is just 5’ at the deepest. We also have 4 lounge chairs on the pool deck. Perfect for relaxing. (Please note, this is a shared space and is limited to registered guests only. Guests using the pool must sign liability form in advance.)

We have one reserved parking spot to the left of the garage for a standard sized car. If you have a larger vehicle or more than one, there is plenty of free street parking in front of the house. Please don’t park directly across the street from the driveway.

The salt water lounge pool includes in-pool lounge chairs on a tanning ledge and is just 5’ at the deepest. We also have 4 lounge chairs on the pool deck. Perfect for relaxing. (Please note, this is a shared space with the owners and is limited to registered guests only. Guests using the pool must sign liability form in advance. Strict pool rules must be followed.)

The garage is roughly 50 feet from the main house, where we live. When we have guests, we try to limit backyard activity as well as garage use, but we do live in the main house, so you will likely see us and you may hear the garage door from time to time. We enjoy meeting our guests, but respect your privacy as well.

Please let us know if you would like to request check in prior to 3pm or check out after 11am. We'll do our best to accommodate, when possible.

While attached to our home, the entire space above the garage will be yours with no access to the main house. This 1500sq ft area includes 4 bedrooms, 3 with 42" Roku TVs, 1 full bathroom, a spacious living room with 65" smart TV & Roku that opens up to a dining area and kitchenette. This retreat features a wonderful outdoor space that includes a fenced in backyard, grill, outdoor dining, salt water pool, hot tub, and cabana. Come relax and enjoy our tranquil retreat!

Guest access
Guests will have access to gated entrance off the driveway, then private entryway up the stairs. Full use of the shared backyard. You may see us around maintaining the property, but we will always give guests their privacy if we see them enjoying the outdoor space.

-All bedrooms and living are located on the second floor.
-Children are welcome, but must be closely monitored near the pool.
-Pool is open seasonally from April through October, or as weather permits.
-Sorry, no pets allowed.
