- "We booked a last minute stay for Fourth of July weekend to getaway from the city, relax and celebrate our dogs birthday. Blowing Rock/Boone are great getaways to help relieve stress and reset your bodies. With that out of the way, this property was fantastic! Great modern amenities, (dish washer, disposal, WiFi) and a lot of space. Amazing back deck looking over a peaceful forest, yard for dogs and great views on the drive up. Extremely clean and well kept, with all the pots/pans and utensils needed. Only two very minor gripes. The driveway took a little finessing at first to get our car out the first time, but after we figured out the gravel, It was no problem at all. I wish it was a little closer to downtown blowing rock, but that’s on me not the property owner, they were very transparent as to the 20minute or so drive to blowing rock. Again two very very minor gripes, not even issues. But the drive into/out of town has breathtaking views so really it was a net positive. Larry and Melinda reached out immediately with great details as to the stay, checkin/checkout was seamless. We will definitely stay here again in the future in our next stay in blowing rock. Thank you both for being so accommodating and making our dog Lily’s birthday so special! She had a blast."

This DIAMOND PROPERTY has been complete renovated to meet the standards of "a cut above". Bull n' Bear is brand new, renovated inside and out in 2017. There is a lower unit, "Bull" and an upper unit, "Bear" .

EACH UNIT HAS TWO PARKING SPACES. All overflow must park in the public lot.

Bear, the upper unit, has 2 Bedrooms and two en Suite baths. The master has a king bed, the second bedroom has a "twin over queen" bunk bed.

'Serenity' offers beautiful long range mountain views from the main living areas and covered deck. It is equipped with central heat/air, is fully furnished, has a well-equipped eat-in kitchen with seating for 6, and a spacious living room with a stone fireplace with gas logs, and a large (50-55”) flat screen TV. The home is approximately 1000 sq. ft. and has a 2-bedroom 2-bath split floor plan (will sleep 6 with the use of a pull-out sofa). One bedroom is equipped with a king bed, dresser, nightstands, flat-screen TV, and has an attached bath with tub/shower combination. This home is located on Flat Top Road and has plenty of paved parking for two or three cars. Although the driveway is paved, you may need a 4-wheel drive if there is a large amount of snow in the winter. The driveway gets good early morning sun and usually clears off nicely, but can be difficult with heavy snow.

Views, privacy, convenience to all the area activities, Longview Cottage is a wonderful place to visit!

- "We changed reservations from a hotel in Boone to this condo at the last minute as weather forecasts called for 8"+ of snow. As a side note, the forecasts were not accurate. Surprise, surprise! However, we were glad that we changed as the location to Appalachian Ski Mountain is excellent. Only about a 1-2 minute drive. The condo was clean. Directions for use of the fireplace, TV, internet, kitchen and check out were clear. The view from the deck was great. Additionally, we were thankful to have the extra room versus a hotel room before and after a day of skiing. I would absolutely recommend this condo for anyone that wanted an alternative to a hotel or anyone with a family of 2-4 that wanted a peaceful location for skiing, hiking, visiting Blowing Rock/Boone, etc."
