The property owner responded every time I asked him something. The first night we arrived we were blessed to have a mama & her 3 bear cubs that were absolutely adorable. The mama bear was feet away from my wife & I. One of the cubs stuck his head on the deck. We got to watch them for about a half hour. We also seen more bears down the road. If you want to see bears this is the place. There is an arcade game & pool table that my teenagers loved. I would stay at this chalet again & would definitely recommend it."

The Bavarian Haus has been completely renovated and tastefully decorated with rustic mountain decor. The cabin features 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with a laundry closet and stackable washer and dryer. The open and airy living room and kitchen boasts a cathedral ceiling with skylights.

- "Property was just secluded enough yet still a very short distance to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. The grandkids, age 8 to 19, made daily use of the splash, pool, hot tub and basketball hoop. Accommodations were just as described. I am an avid reader, but was unable to use the living room for reading comfortably, and I’d suggest The addition of a table or floor lamp. That would have made this day perfect for me!" - "There is so much to say about this property. The location was perfect, we were able to walk downtown and the grocery store is just a short drive up the road. The home was spacious with plenty of seating and sleeping areas. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment we needed and the bar between the kitchen and dining area was perfect for serving buffet style with my large family. Having 8 people in the house, I wish the washer and dryer were bigger, but we managed and I was able to not come home with all the laundry dirty. I also found a broom and vacuum to help keep things tidy during our stay, and a pack and play style crib for those who may need that. The beds were comfortable and clean. Outside surpassed my expectations. The splash pool was larger than I expected, clean and my family really enjoyed relaxing there. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed late evenings there when the outdoor lighting would come on. The deck seating was enjoyable and the views were beautiful. The only thing my family found missing was an outdoor dining area, that would have been a great addition."

Red Bud Cottage is a couple’s retreat located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The cottage is within proximity to all what Gatlinburg has to offer. If you feel adventurous and wanting to explore nature, Gatlinburg is known for the Great Smokey Mountains. If you want to hit the slopes for some winter fun, there's Ober Gatlinburg. And if you want to explore the city life, there are wineries, breweries, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Access to all that were mentioned are within 3 miles from the cottage.

The cottage is equipped with modern conveniences and décor to make your retreat a time to remember. As you enter your mountain cottage, you will be welcomed into a cozy, warm, living room designed just for couples wanting to get away from the city and to get closer to nature. The living room has a gas fireplace, a smart TV ready for you to log in and enjoy your favorite shows, with mid-century touches. The main floor is where the living room, kitchen and full bathroom are located.

In the kitchen, you will find all you need to cook a meal or warm up a meal that you’ve procured from one of the many local eateries. There’s a full-size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. However, if you prefer to be outdoors and cook your meal on a grill, we have a propane BBQ grill out in the backyard. This grill is set next to the outdoor patio set where you can enjoy your meal under the stars.

Once dinner is over and you want to unwind and relax, you have the option of sitting in front of the firepit while watching the flames dance away, or letting the hot tub relax your muscles as you continue to share the moment with someone special.

When you’re ready for bed, head upstairs to the bedroom. This is where you’ll find a comfortable king-size bed to cradle you to sleep. If sleep is not an option quite yet, you’ll also find another smart TV where you can continue your favorite shows. There is also a Bluetooth speaker box that you can connect to play your favorite station or music directly from your phone. This speaker can also be taken wirelessly downstairs or outside to be enjoyed by the hot tub, the firepit, and while dining outdoors.

This Property is so conveniently located-1 Mile from the Gatlinburg Parkway. The trolley is close by, no expensive parking. Give yourself some exercise if you want--walk down the parkway, and catch the Trolley back, you have options!! This lovely cottage, provides the peaceful/tranquilizing vacation we all deserve. Small and inviting for your family of 4/5 at the most! This sweet cottage boast a large King size Master with a Living room pull out Queen sofa bed! One full bathroom-easy access shower for most. Hair dryer/soap/basic necessities provided, to get you started! And Ladies--theirs a Hair dryer, so you don't have to pack that bulky item!

Full Kitchen/stocked with the basics to cook in or just grab your snacks! There's a coffee/tea bar. Initial needs to get started-a sweet arrival basket to welcome you to our cottage! Come stay a short few days or stay a week or two!
Sorry we are not pet friendly as the owner has severe allergies, but we can be your quick get away if Fido doesn't mind staying with Grandma! We love our sweet/tranqulizing cottage-as you can go out and sit under the Pergola, and listen to the stream run, enjoying your favorite beverage!

Across the road from the cottage you can grab breakfast if you want at our favorite "Pancake House"-decent prices and great food, we love this place. Or for dinner you can go to the Almo across the street also for your favorite steak! Or if that's not what you want, again across the street is a lovely Mexican restuarant. Or call for you Domino's just up the road. And in case you have a medical issues/need while there--Hopefully not--there is also an Urgent Care up the road. Grocery store/Dollar General and Family dollar, also coveniently located on our road.

Also, if you and the family want to go into Cades Cove-but you don't want to drive in, just below the cottage conveiently located -a "Off The Road Rental Business"! So Much to do, come and enjoy the cottage. The best part--is the entire house is yours to enjoy and you don't have to deal with the Hotel Life of other patrons, upset children at 3 am, Loud TV's, slamming doors, it's just you and your family, enjoying your time away in your own little place--Home away from Home!
