This designer decorated cottage is a great "home away from home" for anyone in town for business, weddings, family re-unions, house hunting, events, etc. It is comfortable and cozy and has lots of natural light. The large kitchen is fully equipped and has all new appliances. The living room has a big screen tv and each bedroom has a tv. The bedrooms have new comfortable beds and lots of closet space. We have covered parking (carport style) and a large backyard for extra parking. The house is surprisingly quiet for being right on Canton street. Sit on the front porch in the morning, sip your coffee and watch the traffic go by, or enjoy a glass of wine in the afternoon on the spacious deck out back.
Historic Roswell has become a "destination" because of its hip, thriving shopping and dining district on Canton Street with 30 plus restaurants in the area. There is no lack of things to do in Roswell whether it be a historical tour, a cultural event, visiting art galleries, exploring the Chattahoochee, or enjoying one of the many award winning parks and trails (one just a couple of blocks from the Canton street house). Enjoy Roswell's famous street party, "Roswell Alive" on the 3rd Thursday of every month from April-October.

Off of rental for 3 years, this cozy, comfortable cottage in a fantastic location was extremely popular! After several requests, we are back!! It has even been used for a “staycation” in the past by locals. This designer decorated “home away from home” is perfect for anyone in town for business, re-location while looking for/waiting to be built new home, family gatherings/reunions/weddings, etc. It is very well appointed, and is fully equipped with all of the best! There are three smart TVs, one in the living room, and smaller ones in each of the two bedrooms. The back deck is a great place to relax, and a gas grill is provided. There is a huge parking lot which makes it easy for friends and family to park. The kitchen is fully equipped and we provide extras such as oil, vinegar, non-stick spray, basic spices,etc. The bedrooms have fine linens and comfortable mattresses. A washer/dryer is also provided. It’s just a great warm little home.

Additionally Charming Charlie’s uses a Laveo Dry-Flush toilet system. It is a waterless toilet that has a “diaper genie” style mechanism. The property was owned by Jan's childhood friend's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephens dating back to the early 1900's. Mr. Stephens was a builder in Roswell and built the cottage home for his children to reside in once they married. The main house was rebuilt in 2007. The top unit of the Cottage house was completely renovated in 2017 & the downstairs unit in 2019. The beautiful landscaping has been a project during their 28 years of residing just off Canton Street. The property has hosted special events to include weddings and rehearsal dinners.

We are cleaning fanatics, and our guests love our squeaky-clean place! We travelled the world and have brought home all the “lessons learned” from having the ultimate “home away from home” experience during our stays. Two super comfortable queen-sized beds, upscale linens & towels, a fully stocked kitchen and designer décor. We are always refreshing our place so it’s 5 stars for every guest. The carriage house is completely private & just a 7 min. walk to shenanigans in downtown Roswell.

The space
We are a blended family with 5 grown children who adore each other. When we built our place in Roswell we were so fortunate to be able to include a private, upscale carriage house on our property. When our kids were younger they collaborated on a blended family name so we named our carriage house the "McGoldlers Carriage House" to represent the love of our family and the "home away from home" experience we want to share with you when you stay with us!

My husband and I love to travel around the world, and we always take note of all the fine touches others have used to make our stay 5 star. We are delighted to have infused all the "best practices" into our carriage house experience.

Our place is completely private and we have worked hard to have lovely landscaping and comfortable places outside for you to enjoy the view.

The beautifully furnished, squeaky clean carriage house, has two lovely bedrooms with super comfortable mattresses and only the best linens and bedding. You will also find a full bathroom and kitchenette - all with high end finishes. Great amenities include a coffee maker, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, a desk for working, and of course, snacks! Your stay includes private parking on the property. Our property is just a few miles from Georgia 400 and wherever you would like to go in the area.

While our place is completely private and secluded, it's just a 7 minute walk from everything downtown Roswell has to offer - great restaurants, breweries or shops - all just steps away!

Our guests have come to stay with us to enjoy a wedding at one of the Roswell wedding venues, visits with their Grandchildren, local concerts and events, you name it! Come experience the 5 star experience all our wonderful guests have enjoyed!

This renovated historic cottage is located less than a mile from downtown Historic Roswell...Canton Street & Chattahoochee River. It is located right behind Barrington Hall and stones throw to the Roswell Square, and approximately 6 miles to the Marta station.

The space
Cozy private cottage to relax in while exploring Roswell and the greater Atlanta area.

Space sleeps 6 adults with two bedrooms, two full baths, sleeper queen sofa, onsite laundry, 3 large TVs, spacious back deck, fully air conditioned and heated sunroom and outdoor & garden areas.

If you have booking for six, be aware, that the sofa bed is in a room open to the dining room and kitchen space.

Mary’s Cottage is one of the few historic cottages in the area that has 2 FULL bathrooms. This can make a big difference when traveling with family or groups of friends.

Front porch swing and gorgeous edible and flowering landscaping for every season. A resident croaking frog or two reside in the cottage pond and we have a large amount of butterfly loving plants and I’m always amazed at the diversity of butterflies they attract. We have milkweed and this is the only plant that the Monarch butterfly will lay their eggs on. The Cottage garden is an ongoing work in progress and you will find something new every time you explore the surroundings. Mary is an avid gardener and you will see her weeding... planting... running about as she lives next door - but she will be respectful of your space during your stay.

Gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and appliances you may need. Coffee bar with milk steamer/frothed and k cup built into the refrigerator . Olive oil, salt and pepper, coffee & tea provided. Filtered water in fridge . Gas grill on deck is ready for a cook out. Cooking and need something that you can’t find? Give Mary a call and she will try to accommodate.

Master has walk in shower and vintage claw tub. Second bath has walk in shower.

Mini wooden crib & queen bed air mattress that could fit in master bedroom or living area available or in the heated /air conditioned space on the sunroom porch.

Excellent place to get ready for your wedding for yourself and bridesmaids or groomsmen. Provided 2 lighted makeup mirrors and 2 hairdryers. Plenty of open space and parking to bring in your hairstylist and makeup artist to get your glam in for wedding day.

Enjoy the gardens, make sure to take a moment to explore the cottage gardens and the fire pit behind the hazelnut tree in the south side of the property. The fire pit area is a shared space with the host. Please join us if we happen to be having a fire when your home and feel free to make your own at anytime too. Wood pile is to side of the fire pit.
