This was definitely a one time very comfortable bed. Honestly our only complaint was the bedroom lighting; it was a little too dark for our preference and difficult to see around the room even during the day with the window shades open. The small touches like B&BW soaps, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, a black wash cloth for women and their makeup removal, snacks, keurig and a drip coffee maker- we very much appreciated all the small touches to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. I only hope that others who choose to stay here will respect the home and beauty. "

At the same time, it’s just minutes from the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of galleries, studios, and shops and from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike, bike and ride horses among wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls. The restaurants and amusements of downtown Gatlinburg are less than 15 minutes away, and Dollywood is just a 20-minute drive.

Once you step inside the recently refurbished cabin, though, you might be tempted to spend most of your time there—it’s that charming and comfort-filled. With wood-planked walls and ceilings and plenty of windows to let in the fresh mountain breeze and the spectacular views, the interior of Tender Moments is everything you want in a Smoky Mountain cabin. The plush leather sofa is designed for nestling with that special someone as you watch a movie on the large flat-panel TV, play Scrabble at the coffee table, or linger over drinks by the stone-surround gas fireplace.

The dining table is ideal for a romantic dinner for two and there’s a breakfast bar where one of you can chop the vegetables while the other prepares the sauce for your gourmet meal… or where one of you can sit and chat while the other mixes up a batch of margaritas. The kitchen has all the appliances, gadgets, pots, pans and tableware you need. There’s even a dishwasher because there’s nothing romantic about scrubbing plates!

You might want to bring those frosty margaritas out to the back deck. Thanks to the lack of competing lights, you’ll be dazzled by the abundance of stars in the night sky. Of course, the view in the daytime is magnificent too: Towering trees rustle in the breeze as eagles and falcons soar across the seemingly endless skies. Take it all in from the deck chairs or, better yet, from the hot tub. The singing of sparrows in the morning and the calls of owls at night are the perfect musical accompaniment to a languorous soak among the steaming, roiling waters.

You can savor a soak indoor too: The bedroom’s en-suite bathroom has a jetted tub that can fit two and it’s positioned beneath a picture window so that you can look out and relish the glorious view. In winter you can heighten the romance courtesy of the cabin’s second gas fireplace, a double-sided one that faces both the bathroom and the bedroom. The bedroom is a true honeymoon suite: fireplace, luxurious king-size bed, flat-panel TV, seating area by a window, a fan hanging from the slanted ceiling…

As well as romantic luxuries, Tender Moments provides plenty of conveniences too. For instance, clean towels and an impeccably made-up bed will be waiting for you when you arrive, so you can leave your own linens at home. We are located next to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park . Come and enjoy nature and all it has to offer. You will be staying in a park model RV that has all the comforts of home. It is located in a beautiful gated Park just minutes away from the strip in Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge Tennessee. Sit by the camp fire and enjoy s’mores and roasting marshmallows and fellowship with family and friends. I would love to be your host. The Mountains are Calling!

The space
We have a living room with two reclining chairs and a queen size sofa bed. 2 TV (one in the bedroom) cable and Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook a meal. We even provide a blender and crockpot (wine glasses). The bathroom has a regular commode, bathtub, shower ,sink, and a closet. The bedroom has a queen size comfy bed with large closet. chest of drawers and cabinet space for storage. TV with cable. Outside you have a patio with chairs, (+ 2 zero gravity ) barbecue grill and a gas grill . Large fire pit. Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. there is free parking for one vehicle. There is overflow parking for extra vehicles across the street.  We have a lighted entrance with no steps and aprox. 4 steps to enter the RV. The lights are to enhance the property and for your safety. CLEANLINESS and SAFETY are our priorities. We would love to have you as our guests!

Guests have access to all the amenities in the park. We have Basketball goals, shuffleboard ,ping-pong ,horseshoes, miniature golf, Olympic size, swimming pool with baby pool, and adult pool age 18 and above. A lake for fishing (catch and release. Please watch for signs so you won’t be on private property. There is an arcade building next to the laundromat on the premises. Its a wonderful place for walking and biking. You can also fish from Webbs Creek which runs through the park. I hear it has some small trout. Do not trespass on other peoples property. Keep your dogs on a leash or a harness and always clean up after them. There are dog stations. Thank you for following the rules. We last, but not least have church upstairs over the Fireside Cafe. It will be starting on Easter Sunday. Everyone is welcome!

I will be giving you the lockbox code, and the gate code a few days before you arrive.  There is free parking for one car in our driveway and across the street there is a parking area which is free or at the office.

INSIDE:
There is a king size bed and a full size bathroom and shower. A full size refrigerator and stove along with multiple kitchen items for basic cooking. All bedding and linens are included.

Smoky's Retreat also has two smart TVs, Wi-Fi, cable TV service, and has several games and books to keep you entertained.

Unlike other campers, our central air and heating systems are very quiet and will insure your comfort no matter what temperature changes the weather brings.

OUTSIDE:
The outdoor area has a spacious newly built patio complete with fire pit, love swing, patio table and chairs, picnic table and lounger chair. Take in the beautiful scenery of Web Creek, enjoy a cookout or just relax in the sun after your fun day in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or your adventure in the Smoky's.

Don't be fooled by the name, Bear Necessities offers plenty of luxuries as well. This warm and welcoming log cabin includes an outdoor hot tub, a pool table, an arcade and an indoor jetted tub, among other amenities that make it a truly special place for a family vacation.


Bear Necessities can sleep up to eight people. The primary suite epitomizes cabin style with all sorts of modern comforts. The spacious bed, crafted of logs that echo the wood walls, rafters and cathedral ceiling, is flanked by nightstands with lamps so that one of you can read in bed while the other drifts to sleep. Other features include a flat-screen TV, expansive windows that let in plenty of morning sunlight and evening breezes, and perhaps best of all, a jetted tub right in the privacy of your room. When you're in need of some quiet time, you'll know exactly where to go! Prefer showers? The primary bath has one of those too.


The loft area upstairs has queen-size bunk beds, so another four people can sleep up there. The kids will rush to stake their claim, as the loft is also home to the game room, pool table, another flat-panel TV and a sound system. There's a full bathroom up there as well, making the loft a suite unto itself—one with spectacular views of the densely forested lands surrounding the house.


Have still more guests to accommodate? No worries! The marvelously comfortable sofa in the living room converts to a bed for two. Guests who sleep here have the advantage of a 51-inch TV and the stone-surround gas fireplace—just the thing for chilly winter evenings, or for creating a romantic ambiance.


Speaking of romance, check out the large hot tub on the back deck! Of course, a long soak is also a fabulous way to ease tired muscles after a day of hiking or biking, golfing or walking the grounds of Dollywood—activities that are all within easy reach of Bear Necessities. If you're not in the mood for a hot-tub session, you can relax on one of the deck's rocking chairs. You just might drift off to sleep while listening to the leafy tree branches sway in the breeze.


Another of the deck's amenities is a gas grill. If you reel in some trout on a fishing expedition, you can grill it right out here. Everything, from hot dogs to corn on the cob, tastes better when cooked outdoors!


There's a fully equipped kitchen indoors as well. Whether you plan to prepare a multi-course holiday feast or simply brew coffee and make PB and J sandwiches, you'll find all the cookware, tableware and appliances you need. The extensive counter also serves as a breakfast bar, if you'd rather enjoy a quick snack there rather than at the nearby dining table, which comfortably seats six people.


If your idea of a vacation entails no cooking at all, you'll be happy to know that Bear Necessities is just a five-minute drive from downtown Gatlinburg, where you can dig into a juicy steak one night, barbecue ribs the next, and everything from pizza to pancakes in between. Besides eateries, Gatlinburg offers mini golf, an aquarium and plenty of other attractions. Only slightly further afield is Pigeon Forge, home to more restaurants as well as Dollywood, go karting, zip lining and more.
